I ordered three different empanadas, the beef, cheese, and chicken flavors. They were good but the amount of filling inside is a little disappointing, there was barely any chicken in the chicken empanadas. But and this is a big but, the coxinha was really good, my friend ordered the cheese and margarita flavors, so I definitely would recommend that!!!

As a Brazilian, with a mom who cooks very well, I must say that their pão de queijo, aka cheese bread, is the best I’ve had. Their dough has something special to it, like the ratio, or flour they use. I love it. This is a must try! And the churros are awesome!

Omg yum!! This is the first place I've seen that serves Brazilian snack foods. We tried a little bit of everything. The coxinha were definitely the stars! Our favorite was the buffalo chicken. There are about 10 in a bucket, so there are plenty to go around. Definitely going back next time I'm in DeKalb!

Loved the cheesy bread, but most of all, I enjoyed the spinach coxinha, which are just yummy goodness fried in a teardrop-shaped dough. You can get other flavors like chicken and margherita.

Tried the coxinhas, cheese and heart of palm flavor. They were very good. Tasted fresh. The person working there taught us how to say coxinha and what it meant. I'll definitely buy again.

This food court is always so fun, and I saw some others ordering this place. I was eyeing the Brazilian cheese and chicken empanadas here. After I ordered, I came back to ask a question about my order because I wasn't familiar with the empanadas having a thin layer of cheese lining the shell with an empty center. Seeing that I had expected something less hollow, the server was really kind and gave me another order even though he really did not have to! It was really crispy and the cheese pull from the chicken empanada both times was amazing. I'll have to try their pao de queijo next time, seeing how crisp and cheesy their empanadas were!

Great food and friendly staff. Better at making food than they are at playing soccer 🇦🇷. Highly reccomend

Tried the churro balls which had I think caramel inside them. We’re so delicious. The filling wasn’t too sweet so it was really delectable. Would come and try more stuff for sure.

I don't normally feel compelled to write reviews for chain restaurants, but given some of the poor reviews this location has received I felt it was warranted. I've been to several of their locations, and the one in the Albee Square Mall didn't disappoint. It's not at the level of NYC's premiere Churrascaria Plataforma, but the food was excellent as was the service. I was there for New Year's Eve, and the restaurant was packed to the gills, which would make one expect some nuisances. Instead, the service was perfect. Skewered meats were passed fast and furious, and although a run on the salad bar favorites was causing occasional shortages, they were addressed in a timely manner. One nit - the bar seemed somewhat impacted by the sizable crowd and one round of drinks had to be requested a second time, but that was a minor inconvenience at best. It made for a memorable NYE with a festive atmosphere and great food. Would definitely return for a special occasion in the future.

Came here on a Saturday night for an ex coworker's farewell dinner. We were a large party and we also received the menu for the night. The overall ambience of the place was meh at best. I felt that the lighting was too dim and if you want to take a picture? Either forget about it or have your own personal light. The salad bar was okay, nothing I would go back again and again for. The meats - I wish I could say they were spectacular (bc I paid a lot for what little I ate) but it was also very meh. Not only did I have trouble hearing the guys bringing the meats around (I have an aversion to lamb so I need to ask what it was) but by the time I did hear and would like a piece, off they went. Perhaps it was also hard to hear for the workers as well? Other than that I don't feel that the meat was hot enough either. If I want a good steak, I really rather just order it at this point. And each slice they gave me, wow gone in three bites. Would I go back? Nah, I'm good.

Its me again , back at Fogo for a 2nd go round . After leaving my review, management reached out in efforts to changing my mind about this place . So we decided to give the place another shot. Besides, we did come ON Christmas day/ it was the holidays so we gave some grace . We tried to let him know when we were going to show however he just wasnt there that day . We were seated quickly, it was extremely crowded this evening and because it was just us 2 they decided to seat us in a far corner . Jose (our waiter) was very kind. They are often very kind/ but my issue is really the service . We waited soooooo long for anyone to come to us with ANY meat (I mean we went to the salad bar twice and NOT ONE PERSON) Jose FINALLY came with our drink order and we decided to name drop . When I tell you the service changed DRASTICALLY?!? It went from noone coming to our table to EVERYONE coming at one time (literally one after the other/ alittle overwhelming honestly) we realized that they really dont even look if the red or green side is up, they just kept coming because I name dropped . At least THIS TIME we had steak , which made me happy. Luciano and Jose were great . After I name dropped I was pleased with the service provided, we ate and drank for a few hours longer ,unfortunately - I think I'm done with Fogo.

Unfortunately, the service at this particular location is problematic. On a number of occasions, the orders that we placed were inaccurate, the service was slow, and the desire to ensure that customers were satisfied was non existent. During our most recent, and final visit, I placed an order for three items, but only two came out. When we inquired about the 3rd item, we were told that the kitchen had not started it. Since the item that we were missing was an appetizer, we didn't understand why the to- go items came out before the appetizer. When the item did finally come out, the food was burnt. When we requested to speak with the manager he was dismissive, and rude. When we asked for his full name and title, he initially refused to give us any information. When he finally did provide his name, he only gave his first name and claimed to not have a last name. He was unwilling to do anything to make our experience better. The level of disrespect was serious. Since this was not the first time we had an issue with service at this location, we will not be back. Hopefully, someone from corporate and/or customer relations addresses the issues that are persistent and consistent at this location. It's unacceptable.

I was invited to a birthday party it was a party of 8 we made reservations. The establishment is beautiful the food was excellent I had the chicken bacon wrap, steak, lamb and the salad bar. For drinks I ordered the strawberry Hibiscus caipirinha the drinks was watered down. The problem I had was with the waitress she took a long time taking the tables order. The table was told since the party brought there own birthday cake the restaurant does not provide to go containers. When it was time to pay the bill the waitress asked for cash did not want the table to include the tip on there credit card. The waitress was very unprofessional we all felt very uncomfortable. The manager was notified of the situation she apologized and informed us they have to go plates and deducted 30% percent off of the bill.

I visited this location on two separate occasions--once for my birthday and a couple of times after work with my one of my girlfriends for all day happy hour! I think I enjoyed the happy hour experience a little more. Not to say that the dine in service was bad, it just took longer for the meat to come around to our table. I also feel like there weren't many meat selections to choose from. When the meat did come around, it was a bit salty for my liking. The happy hour drinks (which are only like 3-4 options that are priced at $10) were decent. You'll need at least two to feel any kind of kick. The happy hour lamb chops are my fave! Sometimes they also have a live amateur performance which was cool. The restaurant itself gives an upscale vibe. Very elegant seating and overall decor. It's also a good sized restaurant to be in the mall. The train station is also right around the corner which I love. I would recommend

I would skip and go to another location with so many locations in NY. 1. Our chair was wobbly and we asked to get a new chair. We never heard back and ended up taking matters into our own hands and taking a chair from another table. 2. The steak was so dry. 3. They came by very infrequently. There was only so much salad bar I can eat to fill me up while waiting for my cut of meats. 4. It was a friend's birthday and this was indicated on the resy. Every other FDC location I've visited sends over a small slice of cake but they completely skipped out on it here. Very unhappy and would never return here.

My birthday was in early November and my mom treated me to dinner. She asked me where I wanted to go and the first place that popped in my head was Fogo de Chao. I've been to the location in the city, but it's nice being able to dine somewhere and be home in 20 minutes. We made reservations for 7 pm but due to two private parties, we still had to wait--luckily, it wasn't too long (maybe 10 minutes). We opted for the Churrasco Experience. I'm a big fan of the market table and Feijoada bar! Their brown sugar and pepper bacon was out of this world. I couldn't get enough. On the other hand, my mom thought it was too sweet. As most people know, you're supposed to turn the card over to green if you want meat and red if you need a break but after a while, the servers would still come over regardless of what card you had flipped. The food was delicious. My mom really loved the crispy polenta and the plantains. For beverages, we got wine--I got the red blend and my mom got the Malbec. I also wanted to try the Brazilian lemonade. It was okay--I thought it could use more flavor, maybe some kind of essence. While I was getting food from the market table, the manager came over and spoke to my mom--she told her that it was my birthday, and we were celebrating. My mom wanted to leave room in her belly for dessert--which was a really good idea because we got the trés leches, and it was so good. Since my mom told them that it was my birthday, they comped the dessert--that's always a nice gesture. It was quite lively inside but not to the point of being too much. I liked the ambiance and wouldn't mind dining at the bar. All in all, I had a good dining experience and would definitely return.

My friend went with Fogo to celebrate her 40th Birthday. When she sent me the invitation, I was surprised because I did not know they provided brunch. Nonetheless, I knew I could stay for the entirety of the event but I still went for about an hour. I arrived a little later than the majority of the attendees and they were already served their omelets and waffles. However, my friend let me know that there was one person making the omelet and it was the same person who delivered it yo the table, which meant many times people went to go get their omelets, but the station was unattended. I did not want to eat the meat, and really didn't want an omelette either, I just was fine with some mashed potatoes but I was informed I would have to do the full course since they do not just offer sides. I was confused by this but just accepted it and order mimosas and a non-alcoholic drink for the birthday girl. Even that took a long period of time. Another attendee waited over 30 minutes for her, which was comped, due to them bringing the incorrect drink. After my departure my friend's birthday continued to have issues with long wait times for drinks and meat to be served despite having the green card up. Overall, I think the restaurant looks nice, and while I understand they recently opened there just seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst the staff with how to operate. For instance, as we waited at the bar, my friend mentioned the bartender was new because she was looking at the book for drink recipes. Also, my friend was told she could not bring birthday balloons, but yet, we saw another group come in with 40th balloons for their group. I think FDC has a lot of work to do to get up to speed.

I was there for a yelp event but I Was early so I sat by the bar and ordered a drink. I was delighted to find out they have all day happy hour ! $10 cocktails n $6 bites. The staff is very friendly n courteous. I'll definitely come back n try the food. The salad bar looked super fresh w great variety. Love the beautiful tall ceiling. Que otimo que este restaurante está aqui.

Finally, Brooklyn has its own Fogo de Chao! I love my borough and I'm enamored with this restaurant. I think it's the best ambiance of all the locations in NYC. You will have to request to be seated near the bar of the restaurant to truly experience the open churrasco grill that gives guests a 360-degree view of the culinary art of churrasco as the chefs butcher, prepare and grill Brazilian meats over an open flame. I came during the soft opening courtesy of Tara and had pretty good service. The drinks were well made and the scrumptious meats were consistently being passed around. For me, it's all about the well seasoned and grilled meats. My favorite is the PICANHA (Prime Part of the Top Sirloin) which is crispy and most at the same time. During this trip, I was able to sample the PORK BELLY which was paired perfectly with honey and absolutely melts in your mouth. I'm so glad that I paced myself and was able to make it to dessert because the Tres Leche Cake was deliciously moist and full of flavor. I can't wait to come back here. If you are feeling carnivorous and like your meat medium, I highly recommend you head on in especially if ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR is your thing!

Went at a Tuesday lunch time and it wasn't crowded at all so got seated instantly. Waitress explained the card (2 sided) to use for servers to know if you still want to keep the roasts coming or not. They have a side bar that contains a lot of choices so you won't get bored of just roasts. Smoked salmon, tomato basil mozzarella, fruits, salads, charcuterie, rice, soups, etc. Since we went for the lunch menu, we had the sirloin steak, lamb, chicken, etc. But my favorite was lamb, the flavoring of it was nice and really tender. There were some pieces we had that felt to be a bit tough or dry. Servers were really nice, explaining the cut every time they brought roasts over. They also serve the mashed potato, Brazilian bread, and caramelized bananas per table which is way too much food, although the mashed potato was good and I had that with the roasts. Place is beautiful with a huge wall of alcohol and high ceiling and sofa seats per table with crystal lights. The female bathroom only had one working stall at the time. Luckily there was less ppl on Tues, I'd imagine the wait for the bathroom would be a lot longer on busier times. Overall not bad but for the amount we ate it was definitely on the pricier side which made it not really worth.

Food: We dined here for the limited time Taste of Brazil $44 promotion. The selection of meats for the promotion include top sirloin, bottom sirloin, garlic steak, pork sausage, parmesan crusted pork, bacon wrapped chicken, leg of lamb, and grilled honey and cheese. The meats were tasty but a bit over salted. Many parts were overcooked, even though you can request any doneness you would like. I always asked for medium rare but often would get a medium or well-done piece. The meal also comes with all of the food at the buffet bar, including soups, rice, beans, vegetables, salads, fruits, cheeses, charcuterie meats, smoked salmon, and some side dishes. Once you start your meal, they bring you side of mashed potatoes, plantains, and Brazilian cheese bread. The Brazilian cheese bread was delicious and one of my favorite parts of the meal! All meats, food from the buffet bar, and sides are all you can eat. Overall, the amount and quality of the food was great for $44, but I wasn't so impressed by the food that I would return. Service: Service was extremely disappointing. I expected more from a place like Fogo De Chao. I'm not sure if they chose to give limited service to those dining for the promotion, but I was not happy. When we first sat down, it took a while for our server to come. He eventually came and filled our water but left and didn't return for a very long time. We had asked him for a cup of ice and a fork because we were missing one in the place setting. He never returned with the ice or the fork and we had to wait at least 20 minutes to find someone else to ask. We also asked for more Brazilian cheese bread but it didn't come out for another 40 minutes and that was only because we asked someone for a second time. Not only did our server not come back, but none of the meats were going around until we asked someone if we could get some meat. Either they don't have the service and operations quite figured out here or they intentionally didn't serve the section dining for the $44 promotion well which would be terrible of them to do. The slow service was disappointing and ruined the experience for the evening. Ambiance: The ambiance and decor is nice. Seating is comfortable as well. They can accommodate any size group. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and don't expect to return myself.

Always been a fan of Fogo De Chao, so when I found out that they were opening a location in Brooklyn, I was super excited. The restaurant is spacious and definitely nicer than the midtown locations. One problem I've always had with Fogo De Chao is that the salt level is kind of high when it comes to certain cuts of meat. But you learn and avoid getting those cuts. Now when it comes to service, you definitely get better service if you're seated to the main area. We never got all of the sides that were included and when asked about it, they said they'll bring it, but it never did. The people who bring around the meat have a certain exit, so if you happen to sit farther away from the exit, most of the good cuts rarely get to your table. So you end up sitting around waiting for people to come by. Always fun to do but the service and idling makes the price tag of Fogo not worth paying at this location. Will hit up the midtown location for better service next time.

Came here after a big event for a party of 4. We arrived an hour early and they were able to accommodate us. I've been to the Midtown location before, so I knew what to expect. Once seated, they give you a rundown of all the meats and what was included. We went with the full menu, so we were able to get food from their bar and the meats that came around as well. The meat just kept coming!!! Before you know it, your plate is filled with different types of meats. You can always decline and flip the card they give you to red. I favored some meats over others and loved some of them with a drizzle of honey so I asked for some on the side. Overall, the experience was good!

We came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate our anniversary. I made reservations, but it wasn't very busy anyways when we arrived. For $48 per person, this included the rotating meats that came around and the market vegetable. Since it was brunch, they also had custom waffles and omelette, but I'd skip those since it's filling. The meats ranged from filet mignon to lamb. Some of the meats were too well done for my liking, but still a good deal for AYCE meat. Even though you're here for the meat, I really enjoyed the vegetable and fruits --especially the beet and green juices! Happy hour is also offered all day on the weekends, which was such a great perk to enjoy with your meal. I had the Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirin ($10), which was nice and refreshing. By the end of the meal, we were both overly stuffed. Even though we were so full, we got the Cheesecake Brulee ($11.50) for dessert. The brulee part is good, but I didn't like how the cheesecake is warm because of the brulee. Overall, service and the meal were good. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get an anniversary gesture for our dessert since I did mention it on our reservations too.

Okay... so I've been to this location twice at at the point of this review. My first experience was for Saturday brunch and it was great! I love me the combination of brunch options combined with the full Brazilian experience. The service was on point and the cocktails were mixed to perfection. The second experience was for Father's Day with the family and ughhhhh. Imma blame it on the volume cause...... it was lackluster to be nice. The waitress tried to compensate for all of the delays and errors but, it was what it was. I wanna love this new BK food option but on the fence.

This is the 4th time It's gets better each time Rogelio is a great representation of customer service . Of course the ambiance is wonderful. I've come with family and friends and always get a well rounded of care. The food is right up my alley .. my son says he's a meat eat here but the buffet is bon appetite.

If you love meat, this is definitely for you. All the meat you can eat until you drop. Price was very reasonable. Atmosphere was good especially for large parties. Friendly service. I would go again but not too soon I'm seafood person

A group of us visited Fogo De Chao in Manhattan previously for my favorite cousins birthday & I am glad that this new one is in Brooklyn. Fogo De Chao at this location officially opened to the public today, Monday 4/15/24. Here were the highlights: 1. Fogo De Chao has a nice bar area & neat table settings as well as some cool art & wall decor. 2. Fantastic Salad Bar - fresh salad, fruit, vegetables, deli meat & the best smoked salmon I have had were among the wonderful options... Boy, was that chicken salad fabulous! 3. Well-Seasoned / delicious meats carved @ your table - chicken, pork, sausage, steak, etc. The mashed potatoes and the separate "island" that had "Brown Sugar Pepper Bacon & other delicacies were all amazingly good. 4. The Tres Leches and Key Lime Pie desserts were fantastic. Fogo De Chao also has other desserts, including chocolate cake, cheesecake, etc. 5. Mocktails that we had included a Spritz, Pineapple Mint Lemonade & their Brazilian Lemonade made w/ condensed milk - it was so good! Fogo De Chao had a nice variety of drinks to choose from as well as wine & other spirits. 6. Thank you, Tara Marcelle! I was here a few days ago for a pharmacy dinner. We were placed in the back room, and it was packed. I kept wondering how the wait staff would maneuver around the tables when there's so little space. They managed. The salad bar had a decent selection and tasted fresh and tasty. The meats that came out were a hit or miss. Most cuts weren't seasoned/salted enough and were very bland. The prime rib was probably the best. The desserts were amazing. There were 4 different selections, and all were good. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience of going to fogo de Chao as a 1st time patron as I've always been told how amazing it is.

Fogo de Chão is a Brazilian Steakhouse w/ Continuous Table-side Service of Premium Meats (known as Churrasco) and an Extensive Market Table. . A brand new beautifully decorated location just opened up in Brooklyn. Located Downtown directly next to Dekalb Market you can indulge in a variety of meats, chicken.m, seafood and Brazilian themed cocktails. . My favorites of the night were: - Parmesan crusted pork - Chorizo (I would go back just for this) - Pork belly drizzled with honey - Bisteca De Porco . The cocktails were strong (well balanced) and I know everyone is raving over the crème brûlée cheesecake but the tres leche here is deeeeelicious. . Tips: - Do not stuff yourself on the salad bar - Take your time and utilize the stop and go cards (to indicate when you want more meat to come or stop) - Try different cuts of meat, you'll be surprised at what you like - Get dessert even if you think you may be full

Unplanned lunch at FDC; I was actually going to Trader Joes to shop and FDC is located at the same mall. This restaurant location is relatively new, easy to get to by subway or bus. I tried the $47 AYCE sampler. It comes with a salad & soup bar. The meats were good but not ridiculously tasty. They have aged mignon and Waygu beef but that was $20 extra. Service was friendly & quick; it is a young staff of college aged students. (Lol didn't seen any Brazilians). Everyone wore the same black uniforms. FDC is great for families and large groups. I think it is worth the money, especially if you love all you can eat table service of Brazilian meats.

This is a beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Brooklyn. Arrived at 12:15 pm and was waited on by Jake. The restaurant was empty at this time so Jake was very attentive in the beginning. This was a birthday lunch for my friend and so we opted for the all you can eat experience. We started off with the salad and cheese bar. Next we had the soup and beans and rice. While we sat, a very lovely gentleman, he carved several different types of meat at our table. As the afternoon progressed, the restaurant became crowded and Jake became less attentive. It took some time to get his attention to get dessert and the check. I truly enjoyed all the food. Everything was seasoned quite well. The staff was very pleasant. I took pictures of most of the food but not all due the fact I was engrossed in stuffing my face.

First time going to Fogo de Chao at the Brooklyn location and it was a disappointment. We asked for the special $40 and the hostess said there was no promotions. But we saw other tables have a special card and got the promotion. The waiter was nice but service took very long and we ended up eating mostly the salad bar vs the meat that cost $70 per person. The salad bar and soup were very good though. When we asked for refill for water, it took 3 times to get it. It felt like they were very understaffed. Some of the meat we had were either too dry or too raw. We hardly got any of the premium meat and we were there for 2.5 hrs. They just said please be patience. I told the waiter we had an anniversary so they gave us free desserts so that was a nice gesture. Overall, for the price we paid $100 per person i was expecting more but the food was disappointment and the service was very slow. Eventually we got tired and left. I probably won't come again since the price doesn't match the value we expect. Next time I'll go for a Peter Luger steakhouse instead.

I've been here 3 times with different people and alone, allowing time and growing pains. The verdict is bar fogo only. Far too much inconsistency for me. The market table has some pretty good offerings. I always enjoy a selection there, especially the fresh greens and chicken salad. The staff is very professional, I think this is where the review gains the 3rd star. They are warm and courteous. The meat service is inconsistent. Some items were delicious, fresh, and well seasoned, and others [of the same selection) were inedible, tasting as if they had not been prepped, a "wild" taste, just thrown on a grill. The drinks, non-alcoholic, and cocktails are delicious, so fresh! The seafood is bland (sadly) and the sides were only brought to the table when there was someone with me. I've been to this location 3 times since it opened and there is a lot that needs to be fixed starting with the bathroom doors in the women's bathroom. 2 out of the 3 that I've used were broken since day one.... I checked each time. The décor is very nice, especially for a chain, it has such an upscale vibe. But the experience comes off less than that. Hopefully it gets better.

Was also invited to their soft opening event a couple weeks ago and while there were some initial issues with scheduling, the general manager there resolved that amicably and I was seated on a following day. The layout itself is simple enough, just grab a plate and enjoy the myriad of options they have to offer from the salad bar (which obviously includes offerings besides just that haha). I particularly enjoyed the black pepper candied bacon, that was great and worth multiple trips back to the bar. I had also heard a ton about the Black beans and rice there but the portion I had wasn't particularly flavorful, maybe a product of them still testing service then. As for the meats being passed around, there were quite a few options available and I got to try most everything include filet mignon, flank steak, bacon wrapped steak, chicken thigh, lamb chops, picanha, and beef rib, including a few items that I wasn't aware was on the menu like crispy pork and cheese with honey. My preferred meats were probably the picanha and in particular the beef rib, which is probably my favorite. I'm usually a huge fan of lamb chops too but the one I got this time admittedly wasn't the best. A little dried out and without a good sear either, left me wanting a bit more. On top of that, I will say that the meat servers still came up to me sometimes, even though my button was red( meaning that I no longer wanted to be served meat). Not a big deal though, and I ended the meal off with the Tres Leches Cake which was actually much better than I expected it to be. Overall, I enjoyed the whole experience. The food was tasty overall, and the service too, a few hick ups here and there but I'm willing to place that a bit moreso on having just opened and still testing out both their FOH and BOH. I will be back for more in the future so looking forward to it!

I have been to other locations and I was excited to see that they were opening one downtown Brooklyn. My mom always wanted to experience this restaurant so she said she wanted to go for her birthday so I made reservations for 12 to dine for brunch to celebrate my Mom on her day :) When we arrived, we got greeted with a lovely hostess who took us to our table. We sat down and was in awe at how beautiful the set up is. It's a nice cozy atmosphere great for groups and or date night. Our waiter Jake came and greeted us as he stated Jake as in Jake from State Farm lol he was pretty cool, very attentive and showed my mom the ropes since she's never experienced their restaurant. We all placed our orders for our drinks and I can only remember what I ordered because we were a large group. So I got myself a glass of Prosecco and my second drink was an Amaretto Sour. My Amaretto Sour was just OK. I believe that it could've been made much better than what I received. Maybe if I was to add alcohol in it it would be top notch. We then proceeded to the salad bar, which was amazing. There's so many different selections to choose from, and right next to the salad bar was the brunch station so we ordered our omelettes which were delivered to our table and there were waffles and the best bacon I have tasted in a very long time ready to be eaten by that brunch station. The lovely lady Leslie prepared our omelettes and she did a fantastic job. As we returned to our table the gaucho chefs started to come around with different meats for us to choose from and my mom the birthday girl was in AWE. She loved everything about it. I must say that I've enjoyed everything that I have tried that night including the bacon wrapped chicken to the garlic steak, but my absolute favorite has to be the Ribeye Steak OMG it was to die for. It was nice and hot with the right amount of salt and cooked to perfection and juicy. All in all, we all had a fantastic time. My Mom enjoyed her birthday, and she also enjoyed her complimentary Cheesecake Brulé. She has made it very clear that she will be returning again, and so will I. Go check them out you will not be disappointed. For $47.50 per person for brunch includes brunch, market table and continuous tableside service of signature, cuts of fire roasted meats, you can't beat that!

We visited this newly opened location in downtown Brooklyn and were thoroughly impressed. The food was both fresh and flavorful, and the attentive servers were always on hand to meet our needs. The venue offers an intimate ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a date night. I was Eager to try the market (Buffett) bar with fresh salad, tomatoes, mushrooms, smoked salmon etc. However all of the foods at the buffet are served cold which didn't pair well with our hot entrées. We arrived at around 5 and didn't leave until 7:30.We still got chance to samplr everything Fogo had to offer. I'll be back!

It's been a thanksgiving tradition to visit Fogo however we went to the location in the city across the street from MoMa. Love this new location downtown brooklyn. Ideally located near public transportation. Limited parking. I booked reservations because of the busy holiday. We were seats right away. The ambiance is beautiful. Busy but not loud. I saw families friends couples dining. I did the endless meat and Brazilian lemonade. Everything was delicious as usual. I will for sure be back! Service is top notch. Everyone works together as a team ;)

Well deserved 5 star and congratulations on your new location. I went to their soft opening event and it was phenomenal; the service, the food and atmosphere. Every worker that came over to the table are super friendly and kind. They seem really enthusiastic and jolly and that rubs off onto me, which I love. This location is super romantic, prefect for a date night. There are many alcoholic drinks served and I got the Caipirinha, and it was refreshing. Fogo De Chao is known for meat on a sword and it is delivered to your table and onto your plate. Although, the meat is the highlight of the night, don't skimp on the salad bar, it pairs well together with rib eye, filet mignon, parmesan pork, lamb chop and many more. Ended the night with Cheesecake Brulee and Chocolate Brigadero. If you love chocolate go for the chocolate brigadero. But the cheesecake brûlée is one of a kind. Located in the busy downtown Brooklyn and inside City Point, it is next to the B, Q and R train. This isn't my 1st churrasco experience nor will it will be my last!

The restaurant is beautiful inside, nice decor and very classy. It took a while for our server to initially come over, but after he did, the service was good. I went for the Brazilian steak and meats which they come around with on skewers. It's $69, plus you get a salad buffet. I thought the buffet was mediocre. They had a lot of salad choices and mushrooms, mozzarella and cheese. Nothing real stood out, and I never went back for a second helping. I found that some of the steak was not seasoned well and was not that flavorful. My first bite of steak was like "it needs salt." Some of the cuts were overcooked, and some looked semi-raw. They put cheese bread, which was very tasty, and side dishes like mash on the table. I had the passion fruit drink which was good but a little strong. I sent it back for more juice. Overall, it was a nice dining experience but the food was fair.

I came here for happy hour and it was great. I love Fogo de Chao and usually go to the location in Midtown in Manhattan. This location is very pretty and I like the layout. The hostess seemed a little confused about where we could be seated. It was only two of us so we thought we could sit at the bar but the bar was full. With the bar being full; we had to ask for a table. We ordered drinks and snacks. The service was great, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back to this location.

I wrote a review 9 days ago and the next day management responded that they wanted to reach out to me to discuss my review which I was happy to do. I sent them my phone number the next day. I am still waiting for a response. I guess it was an automated response which will never be followed up upon.

Food: 3/5 Went on a date night here during NYC Restaurant Week. The restaurant week menu paired down the number of cuts of meats that come around to you but there *should* still be around 11 cuts on offer. The key word is should because during our outing we only got 6-7 cuts. The Picanha cut was steadily offered and we asked for the Pork Belly but never received it. Some of the cuts were not great. The bacon wrapped steak and parmesan-encrusted pork were dry and unappetizing. The lamb was okay. In general, you'll leave full but not satisfied. With 3 out of the 6/7 cuts being 'blah' at best and other's lacking flavor, the experience quickly become blah itself. Service: 3/5 Our waiter started off strong when we sat down, then we rarely saw him afterwards. He didn't even cash us out. It's a large establishment so maybe there's a lot of running around but alas the service was not on point. Ambiance: 4/5 The environment is pretty okay. It's like up-market meets family dining (like Apple Bees). The decor is nice, the bar area is very well presented but it's not an intimate setting. It's a welcomed addition to Downtown Brooklyn ... until you have the food and get to thinking it might have been a better look to explore the restaurants downstairs at the DeKalb Market.

Went here for an event and was not disappointed! Fresh cut meats and delicious vegetables coupled with amazing cocktails, wine and non alcoholic drinks made for a fun night, with kind and attentive staff to top it off! Tyler made sure my table was taken care of as we tried the delicious famous Brazilian Queijo Assado balls, Crispy Parmesan Polents Fries (so cute!), tender Frango chicken, bacon, and Brazilian Limonada (highly recommend!!). The place has an upscale vibe with decadent seating, lighting and a beautiful bar area beside the main dining room. This place would be perfect for hosting an event like a birthday or work dinner and I'd love to return. 10/10!!

I had a voucher for one free brunch or lunch meal at this location, so I went to use it. I didn't make reservations, and there's no need to since this place has so much room. It was a bit confusing as there were so many servers coming around, but according to the check, Ozzy was our server. He did come around a lot more and was really personable. He brought over these two sauces. One was a Chimicurri sauce, which paired well with the meats. I think they have a larger selection of meats around dinner time.

What can I say? This place is very exquisite and fancy. I love the vibe and decor Fogo de Chao brings. It is a great steakhouse and a Brazilian churrasco where waiters go to your table to serve different types of fire roasting high quality meats. Immediately when I first saw the restaurant in the mall, I had to take pictures of how beautiful the place was. The entrance of the restaurant was very grandeur and opened to a nice bar with endless liquor possibilities. The waitress was very nice and escorted me to an empty table with the manager greeting me nicely. The place was very dim and was suitable for dates and families. Very romantic too. The table was very nice with a cute succulent in the middle of the table and condiments with a black dining cloth. The waiter greeted us and offer us either still or sparkling water and I opted for still water. The water tasted pretty good and could not taste the tap water taste at all. I also ordered a Brazilian lemonade, which tastes like berries and coconut infused together. Very addicting and gets you hooked like you want to finish the whole thing at once. The waiter also gave us a bowl of pao de quejo cheese bread that looks like round balls and warm melted cheese inside. My daughter loves them a lot and kept grabbing for more. They also gave us mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas. The bananas were kind of bland in my opinion and weren't sweet at all. Mashed potatoes were kind of alright without much seasoning. Kind of stiff in my mouth. Only had a little. They also offered us cheeses and they taste so good especially the fact that they were grilled and burning hot! The market table had a lot of salads and small eats of different appetizers. I got the black bean pasta, quinoa tabouleh, mushrooms, chicken egg salad, soba noodles and they were very good and fresh. I love the noodles, mushrooms and chicken salad a lot. The chicken salad was very creamy with the crunchy cilantro. After getting my plates of the market table eats, the waiters kept on coming to my table offering various types of meat. My favorite was the filet mignon. Such a thick cut and very tender and juicy. Didn't even need sauce at all or it will ruin the flavor of the mignon. I also had the lombo (pork) and torresmo (pork belly) and thought they were a bit dry. The medalhōes com bacon (bacon-wrapped chicken and steak) were kind of fatty in the bacon. Picanha (prime part of the top sirloin), Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), Bone-in Beef Ancho (bone-in ribeye), Costela (beef ribs), Alcatra (top sirloin) were the best in my opinion because they were all juicy beef! Frango (chicken) was alright bit too tender and I could taste the roasted part of it like it immediately came out of the fire oven. Overall everything was good and the ambience is just very class and romantic. Bathrooms were very dimly lit and romantic. The doors of the stalls are made of bamboo. Lots of nice decor all over the walls too which looked very elegant.

Food was delicious!!!! Rice and beans on point so many yummy things to nibble on. Staff was so fun and friendly. Even learned some Portuguese words and phrases. And the tres leches was 100/100

Love that Brooklyn opened up a Fogo de Chao! I took my husband here for his birthday. We had the 3 course menu for $49 each and it was totally worth it. The staff was very attentive - as soon as we flipped our cards to green someone was there. The buffet had a lot of salads, cheeses, etc. All of the meats were delicious. As for the sides, the pao de queso is my favorite! They have an all day happy hour which is hard to come by! My husband had beers for $5. For dessert I had the tres leches and my husband had the chocolate cake. We had to take the desserts home because we were too full! The decor was very modern and nice for pictures. I'd definitely come back!

This is the second Fogo de Chão that I've been to, and they're one that I'll definitely be revisiting. The service is consistent and helpful, especially when expediting specific cuts that you might be looking for. Their drinks are different from the other location, but still quite enjoyable. As usual, their cuts of meat are very good with fantastic variety, giving you practically anything you might want to try out; the side bar mirrors this variety with a slew of fruits, cheeses and soups to try out--I, however, recommend setting your sights on saving space for the meat. Good place, great food, and a solid choice if you're looking for a churrascaria and have the space to match.

WOW what a disappointment. Dine at the Fogo de Chao downtown Brooklyn on Saturday, June 15th and mad that I spent nearly $400 for the upgraded menu and less than mediocre service. I have been to the midtown Fogo several times over the years so this experience was a real disappointment. Pros: Standout server was Carlos. This man was grace under fire, smiled, joked, and was really cool. Cons: From the time we arrived, the front of the house seemed confused about our reservation and generally uncoordinated and maybe not communicating with each other effectively. When we were seated, it was pretty clear they were unprepared for the number of folks arriving to dine (even though it was Father's Day weekend), the salad bar ran out of basic food, the ability to get basic table stuff (polenta, pan de queijo, etc) was scant at best - we got it once, our primary waiter was nice but totally stretched, the floor was slippery as hell (had on flats), and the servers were hustling but looked overwhelmed. Not my best Fogo experience. And while I said I wouldn't go back to this one, I got suckered by a friend to go to the wine tasting coming up so I am hoping that the experience is totally different.

To be honest, I was waiting with baited breath for the opening of the Brooklyn Fogo. When I was briefly lived on the west coast, I finally tried one and loved it. During the pandemic, their to-go options were a little piece of a joy. So moving back to NYC, the fact that the closest Fogo was in midtown Manhattan was sad (having the meat sweats while on a long train ride is not fun). Safe to say I was excited. I have been to the new Fogo twice. Once a walk in for the bar/to go order (on the first day it opened) and once as a party of five with a reservation. In terms of food selection, you are basically getting the same food selection as you would expect at other fogos. Pricewise it might be a bit more expensive than other locales (this is NYC after all) but nothing to ridiculous if you are familiar with the selection. For the first time in my memory though during out sit down experience, we were given other random food options to choose from which were great like the pork belly with honey. Plus our server made sure to ask if there were any meats we wanted to get from the churrasco experience just in case we didn't get it. If you have been to other Fogos, this was is comparatively smaller than the ones I'm used to (midtown Manhattan). They do their best to use the space but it leaves things to be desired in some ways. The market table/feijoda bar is a tight squeeze to go around especially close to where they get their meat skewers from. The smaller capacity also affects the front entrance and the wait time. Because it is in Albee Square/city point mall, their door is right near the 336 Flatbush extension entrance which leaves relatively limited space to wait for your table to be ready. In fact, most of the chaos happens at that entrance as the usual waiting seats are in the mall as opposed to in the restaurant (and those are few) so you have a bunch of people just standing disorganized (not all the fault of the restaurant as they can't control human nature, but just something to keep in mind). No one is doing a 10 hour experience for sure but you are waiting for other tables to clear before joining. Because the place is small, if you are going out on weekend even with a reservation, you might have a long wait especially if your party is larger. At the table you might have long waits from your servers when it gets especially busy (they were generally sweet, funny and helpful). There is a part of the floor in the restaurant that is especially slippery. So if you are heading to the garden bar, keep a look out. I think the bar/happy hour experience is underrated and such a good deal. For the most part, you can always get a seat or two and for the most part the drinks and entrees come out quicker. So my recommendation is that you should always take advantage of the happy hour/to go menu. If you are a party of 2-3 you should have a more flexible time getting in no matter the day. Bigger parties should prioritize the weekdays.

It was our first time and it absolutely will not be the last time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiley, happy faces. We got there early, but we're able to be accommodated and then magic happened, we met the amazing Rogelio, our server and from there everything just kept getting better and better. The food is outstanding. The service is just out of this world. They treated us like queens and constantly came over to the table to make sure we had everything we needed. I've never had such immaculate service in a Brooklyn restaurant. Well let me tell you, this is the place to be. The drink outstanding and please listen to the recommendations cause these service know what the hell they're talking about. Definitely will be back soon. I want to thank them personally for making. Are they so special ( inside love). A huge thank you to the manager as well. You guys are amazing. Please always stay this way.

I was lucky enough to be invited for their soft launch and let me tell you I have high expectations! Staff was very kind and helpful. Food was all fresh. My only complaint was not quite knowing the meat temperatures while they were being cut, otherwise everything I had was delicious! Very cool ambiance and honestly there is so much food to try I think if they keep up this caliber they will keep you coming back to try new things.

The idea of serving large amounts of food is interesting especially if you are meat lover, you will enjoy tasting so many kinds of meat. The restaurant has a huge space and more than enough for big parties, our table is over 18 ppl. Food is good both quality and variety. Service seems good from the beginning. Half of hostess are not quite welcoming. Looks like they don't know what they are doing. Finally, we found another person who can help us about our reservation and bring us to our table. About server at the end they are not really nice and at least they should ask customer first if they still eating or drinking. Server just takes my food and drink and reaction that we should get out. Their problem probably is the unorganized, so a lot of mistakes happen with big group of customers.

Tough and dry. All of the meat was DRY DRY DRY. Everything was beyond well done. And when the picanha came out they skipped my table TWICE. I had to ask for Picanha, they asked me how I wanted it and I said medium. It was past well done again. The thing about Brazilian steakhouses is you get a good value in exchange for mass produced meat that's not cooked to your liking. You can usually tell them how you want it and wind up with some decent cuts but at this fogo de chao everything is cooked to 250 internal temp. Nothing was enjoyable.

The worst Fogo De Chao I've ever been too I've been to Fogo De Chao before at multiple other locations and the everything was great. Here however, everything was off: 1. Barely any meat was being distributed 2. Salads, vegetables, and the food in the market table was old or empty 3. The restaurant seemed understaffed, I had to wait and eventually go to ask for service 4. To top it off, the menu we were given was dirty with food, and it was right in front of the host who wouldn't even care to bring us a clean menu Maybe it was a bad day, maybe not, but when you charge $68.5 per person, you expect the opposite experience.

I was very disturbed while having New Year's Eve brunch with a family member that across the table from me, they have a dog in his carry-on. Since when do dogs come into the restaurant where we eat? I don't wanna eat ticks. I don't wanna eat flies. there has to be a limit. It's not that I share the subway system with them. I should not have to share my table in a restaurant with them very bad very bad. It was not a Support dog support dog. She needs to stay at home. I'm not a dog hater. I just am person regarding hygiene and quality within a restaurant.L
