Petit Boutary

"Petit Boutary is certainly living up to the standard set for it by Boutary, its Left Bank counterpart. In this refined bistro, with its chequered floor, zinc-topped bar, leather-clad banquette seating and hanging light bulbs, modern, creative cuisine is served in the form of a single menu with several courses." - Michelin Inspector

Great and approachable dining place. All guests were treated nicely. Good first impression with a brief explanation of the menu and choices that come with the dishes. I chose the 4 course menu for 64€. First impressions definitely matter so they rely heavily on this. First taste was an elegant yellow carrot mousse. For my first wine, the waiter spent a good amount of time to create the correct expectations. First actual plate was full of punchy flavours with depth, complimentary acidities and umami, bold take on very simple and usually flavourless ingredients. In this case the combination of the plate with the wine pairing worked very well. As most courses in good restaurants, there was an ingredient that acts as a subtle bridge from one dish to another. Presentation was elegant, very clean and timely. Service was attentive, pace was consistently good. Great quality to price ratio, including the wines I got served (3 different glasses for 32€) to pair with each dish. The following dishes seemed to go less and less groundbreaking, with very small touches of spice and flair, were more down to earth and focused on delivering a solid course overall. Sauces were very well made, cooking of all items was to the point, temperatures very well looked after.

YES! It was perfect. Very tasty, delicious and fulfilling. I like the casual atmosphere and the vibe inside. We did the 3 wine pairing with our meal but we never got our red wine which was fine and was given dessert wine instead. I would have preferred my red wine tho. Would have liked to have a short mini convo with the shed who did come out a few times but never chatted with us. It would have topped the experience. The food was great nonetheless.

We went for the full package, and it didn't dissappoint! We were 10 people but the food always came at once, and the waiting time between each dish was timed well. We were given good explanations by the waiters and they were always available. Food was excellent!

Omg. This is the best restaurant in Paris. I found this place through a Google search and I’m so thrilled I did! My mom and I dined here for my birthday and every single thing was perfect. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted by the extremely welcoming and lovely staff. They explained the menu concept and provided great recommendations. The food was superb. It’s a crime that the team at Petit Boutary doesn’t have a Michelin star! It absolutely is deserving. Each course was presented like a work of art and tasted impeccable. The house special caviar dish?!! Out of this world! I’ve never tasted anything so divine. What I love the most is the unpretentious vibe of the place. It feels cozy and accessible with loads of charm. You feel at ease dining here and the staff and whole team contribute to this one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Special thanks to Elias (I hope I got your name right!! Sorry if I’m misremembering) for making my birthday so wonderful. I will absolutely be a regular and plan to take all my visitors to this charming restaurant!

This meal was the highlight of our trip to Paris. What is there to say but — WOW! What an amazing time. My husband and I took a trip to Paris for our honeymoon and after some research chose this spot to celebrate. We did the 7 course tasting menu with a wine pairing, putting our trust in the chefs hands, they did not disappoint! Petit Boutary offers an exceptionally well rounded experience that encompasses a variety of seasonal, stunning ingredients— each dish more interesting than the last. If you’re looking for a romantic setting that will leave you talking about the meal for days, this is the spot! Thank you Petit Boutary for making our vacation one to remember!!

One of the best restaurants I visited in Paris, and just a couple minutes from where I was staying in Batignolles. Attentive service, friendly waitress, and divine food. Highly recommend, especially for lunch as it’s very quiet and delightful at that time.

The restaurant has vibrant colors in a cozy setting. However the menu was very upscale without feeling pretentious with delicious unique flavors. The experience was made that much more comfortable by a super friendly staff who made everyone feel very welcome. Tasting menus only, you just choose how many courses you can handle. It is an excellent value for the quality at any level. Our favorite dishes were the prawns duo with kale risotto woth a smoky crey sauce so good we wanted to lock the plate. Their signature dish featured flavorful herbed mashed potato topped woth potato crisp and caviar, which they produce themselves. They accommodated my Dad's diabetic restrictions nicely, substituting his dessert course with a cheese selection.

Yelp
This was a lovely experience. The restaurant is quaint and in a beautiful neighborhood. Service was good and the food was delicious. You can choose from a 4 course to 7 course but the menu is a surprise. Everything was tasty and we had a seat where we could see the chef working his magic.

Yelp
We had a very unpleasant experience when we went there for our New Year's Eve dinner. Since we dined and had a good experience at its sister restaurant a couple times in the past, we decided to make a reservation for our special evening in Paris, which was done a way in advance. However, when we got there, a lady who seemed to be in charge of reservations and serving said " your reservation was canceled because you did not confirm it". We were in shock and desperation as there was no way to walk into any other restaurant and have a decent meal at the last minute on the New Year's Eve. Most of highly regarded restaurants were closed during Christmas and New Year's in Paris. To make the long story short, we NEVER received emails(she claimed she sent many emails) requesting for a confirmation or any notice of special set menu($160 per person). On the contrarily, we found an email from this restaurant, confirming our reservation which was received on the same day of reservation. Anyway, she said that we could still have a dinner but need to finish within 2 hours(7 course meal). We were quite upset, but we had no other option. Morover, this was only the beginning of their obnoxious treatment. Without any explanation, they skipped the first course without any apology or explanation. When we asked the same lady why, her explanation was "the chef prepared ingredients only for the guests with reservations so they had no oysters for us". We were flabbergasted by their insane attitude with no apology. After we had 3 courses, they abruptly brought the first course, stating that there were some last minute cancellations and therefore they had "left over". I feel like this was a discrimination towards non-French speaking customers. Overall, the food was okay but we will never go back to either of their restaurants. They are NOT CREDIBLE!!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was great. Ambiance was simple and pleasant. We had a 4 course special the wait staff recommended. We randomly picked appetizers, entrees, and dessert. We were in food heaven with every bit of everything that came out of the kitchen. Wow! Staff was friendly and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed. We sat outside on the sidewalk on a nice night.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in residential area. I actually found it on google. Inside is cozy and it was packed when I got in. They only had prefix menu but you can tell them if you have allergy or something you don't like. I took 4 course menu. All dishes were AMAZING and TASTY. If you go more than 2 people you can even share dessert plate since they ask you to choice from 2 different desserts. It's hidden gem and highly recommend.

Yelp
This petit restaurant has some of the most unique combinations of flavor- you won't know what party you had in your mouth! The owner has an amazing knowledge of wine. A true Parisian gem! I celebrated a record sales year with our team and it was the perfect spot!
