Petite León Review - Kingfield - Minneapolis - The Infatuation

"Petite León wears a lot of hats—it’s laid-back enough to be a comfortable neighborhood hangout, but it will impress a date thanks to the fancier flourishes like leather banquettes and a sepia-tone-glowing chandelier. The chef grew up in the Yucatán, so the food draws from that region while blending flavors from around the world that work well together: like steak frites with chipotle butter or clam cream sauce linguine that packs a punch from sambal matah, a spicy Balinese condiment. You’ll see similar themes on the cocktail menu, including an oaxacan Old Fashioned made with mezcal and chocolate bitters." - Stacy Brooks

A group of us went for lunch, the food was good, staff attentive and all wore masks (?). Vegan dish was accompanied nicely with substitutes for one of us. Fine time

The food was good, not spectacular, but good. We chose brunch options from the menu for our meal. Their display cases had some really beautiful looking pastries, although I didn't try them, I was full from brunch. But if I require fancy pastry again I will certainly go back to this place to try them out!! Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly, but it needs to be said that the main waiter we had came with a high degree of attitude and it made me feel uncomfortable. We dined indoors to enjoy the air conditioning, but they also have a lovely terrace for less "intense" Merida days!

A delightful experience. The food is delicious and the staff is terrific. We have been coming here for four years and the quality, friendliness and professionalism is still outstanding. This time I remembered to take photos.

Oswaldo served us today, he was so kind and friendly. Been here several times and every dish that I’ve tried is extremely delicious and you can actually taste the quality of the ingredients, the bread and pasties are freshly baked in the restaurant, they are so good as well, highly recommended!

Cool place with really nice pastries. Amazing bread and cute vibe. Staff is really nice and the best thing is that they have a really fast service. My sister tried to use the wifi for work stuff but it was too slow so don’t come for work and just for brunch or coffee.

We actually love this place, food was delicious, the place is really nice looking, fast service i would like the waiter to check on tables to make sure everything is how supposed to be (my order was incomplete, it was still pretty good though) also just a personal opinion: it doesn't look good for them to be washing dishes in front of customers, restaurant is to nice to do that right there. Overall great place to eat good experience and i will definitely recommend it and i will definitely be going back again!

The food is healthy, light, and very tasteful. The atmosphere is inviting and make you feel like you have stepped into a French Bistro in France. Everyone was so kind. Thanks for the wonderful service.

We went there for dessert only and it was a tasty experience. This is definitely a place for people with sweet tooth because everything was very sugary (I mean, it’s dessert right?) But the pastries are beautifully made and the coffee and teas were delicious too. Prices were ok for a local French bakery. Ah! The photos for your instagram will be perfect here.

Yelp
nice presentation and taste . need to work on texture . never put gum as an ingredient in your macarons . the macadamia nut croissant was soggy .. was it from early morning or from yesterday ? hmmmmmm ... all in all a nice place . the double espresso macchiato was acceptable . a little overpriced for the area and for what you get

Yelp
The food was so delicious we went back the next day for breakfast. The atmosphere was incredible. You have the option of sitting outside, which is gorgeous, or inside. The waiting staff was very attentive and overall excellent experience. 100/100
