Wow. This was a lucky find- for so many reasons. The position is wonderful- in the heart of the old city. The style is beautiful- original and engaging. The bedrooms are super comfortable- and quiet. The food- delicious and the service stand out. We even had breakfast at 5.30am provided ahead of the Tour Du Femmes. Oh and I forgot the Hamman and pool- relaxing. Charlotte- the hotel owner is wonderful. So thank you for a special stay.

We spent a night in this boutique full of charm. It’s located in the heart of Chambéry and the hotel is located in several old townhouses. The interiors are absolutely lovely, the design very elegant yet, not over chic. We were supposed to stay in a double room, but since, we were not fan at all of the bathroom which was not closed, they offered us to stay in a larger room with a pine tree in it. The design was great, also very comfortable bed and great products for the shower. |We went to the lovely little pool and that steam bath that one can book for private use and we had a very relaxing time (no deck chair though) . Breakfast was served in the restaurant and it was brought to the table. Fresh products from local producers and top quality.|We also had lunch in the café Mademoiselle Folie and it was great. |Above all, we appreciated the kind, easy-going and very helpful and service oriented service from everyone. Thank you very much for a lovely city break.

We much enjoyed our stay at the Petit Hôtel Confidentiel in Chambery. This was our second stay there. The hôtel is in a very interesting old building in a great location in the old town. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with all mod cons. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The basement swimming pool with sauna a relaxing place to spend half an hour with privacy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I have just penned a review to Booking.Com and I rather hope they print it and you read it. I didn’t think the Petit Hotel could get any better than when I last visited with my wife. But it has. Last Friday I enjoyed a night at the hotel that has not been matched by any other hotel-in the World. And at 80 years old next year believe I have stayed in some of the best. This hotel,the dedication of the owners and staff, the quality of the cuisine , the sheer magnificent style of the place-means it bears comparison with the very best on the Planet.I cannot praise it more highly and my only wish is that I could visit more often-preferably every week….If you are lucky enough to stay at the Petit and come to a different conclusion than me then the World will be an infinitely sadder place…. Tucked away on a historic side street in the center of Chambéry, France and next to an ancient castle is the magical Petite Hotel Confidential! We stayed for a week, enjoying every moment. ||Room 21 was perfect in every way being both cozy and stylish with every amenity. Charlotte and Jerome were charming, helpful, and attentive, with the bonus of sweet Marcel nearby. ||We had an exquisite 5-course dinner in the restaurant Folie and delicious wine and cocktails in the bar. ||Already looking forward to a return visit - it’s our favorite French hotel!

Delightful small boutique hotel right across from the castle. Our room was spacious, very well appointed and modern, the mattress and linens are comfy. Attention to detail from the owners is visible throughout. Turndown service at this hotel is a given, since it is a 5* facilty. We had a 5-course tasting menu at the in-house restaurant which was overly ambitious, it took too long with too little really memorable dishes. Parking is off-site and by valet. A true gem!

The discovery was quite unexpected. The management consistently demonstrated professionalism and friendliness. The hotel, located in the heart of the old town, is a beautifully designed and decorated gem. The rooms are modern and exceptionally stunning. Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I stayed here for three nights as part of our anniversary trip to France and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The young lady who checked us in (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name!) gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel itself is breathtaking; my husband and I could barely say anything other than “wow!” for the first few minutes we were there! The reception and lobby area are so tranquil, and you really do feel like you’re in a modernized castle. We stayed in room 8 (and we were visiting for our 8th anniversary! Fate?) which took our breath away. It was huge, modern, cozy, and felt very luxurious. My only complaint with the room was the bathroom sink - it was pretty but water went everywhere no matter how high you had the pressure! As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were so delighted to have received a bottle of wine and some treats in our room upon arrival! That small touch made the whole stay feel so special :) We enjoyed dining at Mademoiselle Folie where they had live music one evening; the drinks were delicious and the restaurant manager was incredibly sweet (and patient with my broken French!). Chambéry is a sweet, charming town, and staying at Petit Hotel Confidentiel was the best decision we made. Charlotte was also incredibly helpful and pleasant and kind; we had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend to anyone considering it!
