Everything stood out to me about our stay. Ours was a flying visit for one night. Everything, and I mean everything, was perfect from the welcome to saying goodbye. The room was interesting in its design but very comfortable. They were very welcoming to our dog (but she is a very nice dog) and there was a bed for her and bowls. The dinner was very tasty and the breakfast was the best ever, really the best ever, ever. You have to go there. It surpasses everything even down to the Piedmontese beer which my husband ordered in the restaurant - he is not a wine drinker - but said that it was just as good as the German Bavarian beer he usually drinks. So there your are - an absolutely perfect. Perfect hotel.

Wow. This was a lucky find- for so many reasons. The position is wonderful- in the heart of the old city. The style is beautiful- original and engaging. The bedrooms are super comfortable- and quiet. The food- delicious and the service stand out. We even had breakfast at 5.30am provided ahead of the Tour Du Femmes. Oh and I forgot the Hamman and pool- relaxing. Charlotte- the hotel owner is wonderful. So thank you for a special stay.

From the moment we arrived through our departure, we felt welcomed and cared for. Charlotte was a great help throughout our stay and gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. Marcel, the hotel mascot, was a bonus treat. Our room was lovely and the location was fabulous. We couldn’t recommend the Petit Hotel Confidential enough!

We were absolutely thrilled! Our room was bright, cozy, and spotlessly clean – we didn’t even want to leave. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always in a great mood. The whole hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We much enjoyed our stay at the Petit Hôtel Confidentiel in Chambery. This was our second stay there. The hôtel is in a very interesting old building in a great location in the old town. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with all mod cons. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The basement swimming pool with sauna a relaxing place to spend half an hour with privacy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I have just penned a review to Booking.Com and I rather hope they print it and you read it. I didn’t think the Petit Hotel could get any better than when I last visited with my wife. But it has. Last Friday I enjoyed a night at the hotel that has not been matched by any other hotel-in the World. And at 80 years old next year believe I have stayed in some of the best. This hotel,the dedication of the owners and staff, the quality of the cuisine , the sheer magnificent style of the place-means it bears comparison with the very best on the Planet.I cannot praise it more highly and my only wish is that I could visit more often-preferably every week….If you are lucky enough to stay at the Petit and come to a different conclusion than me then the World will be an infinitely sadder place…. Enjoy

Delightful small boutique hotel right across from the castle. Our room was spacious, very well appointed and modern, the mattress and linens are comfy. Attention to detail from the owners is visible throughout. Turndown service at this hotel is a given, since it is a 5* facilty. We had a 5-course tasting menu at the in-house restaurant which was overly ambitious, it took too long with too little really memorable dishes. Parking is off-site and by valet. A true gem!

Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I stayed here for three nights as part of our anniversary trip to France and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The young lady who checked us in (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name!) gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel itself is breathtaking; my husband and I could barely say anything other than “wow!” for the first few minutes we were there! The reception and lobby area are so tranquil, and you really do feel like you’re in a modernized castle. We stayed in room 8 (and we were visiting for our 8th anniversary! Fate?) which took our breath away. It was huge, modern, cozy, and felt very luxurious. My only complaint with the room was the bathroom sink - it was pretty but water went everywhere no matter how high you had the pressure! As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were so delighted to have received a bottle of wine and some treats in our room upon arrival! That small touch made the whole stay feel so special :) We enjoyed dining at Mademoiselle Folie where they had live music one evening; the drinks were delicious and the restaurant manager was incredibly sweet (and patient with my broken French!). Chambéry is a sweet, charming town, and staying at Petit Hotel Confidentiel was the best decision we made. Charlotte was also incredibly helpful and pleasant and kind; we had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend to anyone considering it!

This is a small ultra modern hotel in the old city area. The staff was the greatest and spoke perfect english. The rooms are big for old city standards. This is a gem in the small town. I think they put a large investment into the hotel recently and it shows. The breakfast and room is just wonderful as well, to go along with happy hour in the evening.. Best place to stay in the old city area, you can walk to everything you want to see in the quaint town.

We travel a lot and can honestly say that we've never had a more enjoyable stay with incredible customer service. Charlotte, her husband and the entire staff were warm, friendly and they took care of our every need and anticipated them as well. For example, one evening she noticed we had not returned and called us to make sure we were able to get into the restricted area of town where the hotel was so that we could park the car. The design of the hotel is modern, chic and inviting. Charlotte's attention to detail is visible everywhere.... And her breakfasts are wonderful as well. Simply put, you should come to Chambery just to experience this little bit of heaven!!
