Petite France

~throw back to mid of November 2025~ A super French village–themed park filled with French-style decorations and design — truly one of a kind. There are so many displays that at times it almost feels like walking through a museum. The park is very photo-friendly, and the colours are beautiful. I took my time walking around, exploring, and taking photos, and it took me about 4 hours to complete the entire area. Definitely a great place for a relaxed and scenic visit.

A colourful, whimsical village that feels like a charming piece of France transported to the Korean countryside. Petite France was originally developed as a small French‑themed cultural village in Gapyeong, built around The Little Prince and French art displays, which explains its compact layout and curated architectural style. The internal bridges and elevated walkways link the different terraces across the hillside, and offer different vantage points of the village. It's quite small and can be explored in 1-2 hours. Overall, it was a delightful visit!

A place where they try to convert into a town in France. With a backdrop to the mountain and a river, it was quite picturesque and a good place to take many photos. Many TV shows like the running man also used this venue for their shows. Overall, a casual place to slow down and take in the beautiful views before heading back to the city.

Petite France is such a cute and colorful place to visit! If you’re a fan of Running Man, you’ll recognize a lot of the filming spots. We felt like walking into the episodes. K-drama lovers will also enjoy the locations featured in Vincenzo and many other dramas. The whole village has a fun, French-themed vibe with plenty of photo spots, mini museums, and scenic views. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants that K-drama moment. A really enjoyable stop on the way to Nami Island!

Lovely scenic place high up in the mountain... photo worthy but there's not much to do there. It'll be good for wedding photography and if you have a car to venture there.

You can probably cover france and italy in around 3 hours. There are some cafe style kiosks where you can buy a quick drink. Both places have a really nice quaint decoration and vibe to them. Recommend doing this as part of a day tour since coming all the way here just for this is not really worth it.

This spot offers a visually charming experience that truly makes you feel like you've stepped into a small French village, complete with colorful European-style buildings, quaint staircases, and various French-inspired decorations, paintings, and installations. As a famous filming location for popular Korean dramas like, it adds an element of excitement for fans looking to visit iconic scenes. The village is exceptionally photogenic, providing numerous unique spots perfect for photography and social media check-ins. However, the experience is somewhat marred by the apparent lack of maintenance. Despite being built years ago, the condition of some areas shows significant wear. During the visit, a strong smell of mold was noticeable in several buildings, which unfortunately detracted from the overall atmosphere and enjoyment. In summary, Petite France is a great place for photos and to capture a French ambiance, but be prepared for some imperfections that affect the experience.

Not recommended to visit in wintertime. I gave 5 stars because it has a prayer room for Muslims. The prayer room is situated in Petite France, three to four buildings away from the exit gate. The prayer room is on the top floor (attic). No wudhu facility, but the nearest toilet is on the basement floor.
