Petite Sweets

I love Petite Sweets! We order our cakes from them routinely and haven’t been disappointed yet. My favorite part? They have dairy-free/allergy friendly options. My son has a severe dairy allergy and hasn’t been able to do traditional birthday cakes, so finding a bakery that does them has been fantastic!

Wedding cake and cupcakes were amazing. I had four different flavors of cupcakes and asked for a solid white three tier cake so that I could add my own decorations. Everyone was amazing and always quick to respond when I had questions. Couldn’t have asked for better cake, cupcakes, and service!

So I’m pretty torn. I want to give 5 star so because it’s sweets and i simply can’t. The service was awesome, the store was clean and the cupcakes looked cute. I think my issue is the lack of sweets in the case and not enough shelf knickknacks. While it’s bright and spacious it kind of lacks that comforting feeling. It gives we just opened up and don’t have decor yet aside from a pretty painted wall. Like, it’s a large store for not much inside. I was told the flavors in the case change often so that’s awesome! I think having some mini cupcakes for some flavors and others that don’t is weird lol. As for the cupcake the matcha honey and strawberry shortcake they were both good. The strawberry shortcake had a strawberry stuffed inside. They both had a dry taste for the cake, bland/light flavoring and the frosting was good. I enjoyed the ratio and the firmness of it. Price was awesome! Two regular cupcakes at $4 that’s so unheard lol. At least from places I’ve been to. I would give it another try though 🙃

I went to petit sweets a few weeks ago and it was my second visit and I’m just not impressed. The frosting tastes like powdered sugar, no other flavors. The cupcakes are just put in a box with no holders and they slid around, crashing into each other. A few cupcakes were sloppy as the cake portion was baked over and just not pleasing to the eye. It does not look like a “professional” made these and I’m so glad I didn’t pick any up for an event. The lady wasn’t personal or friendly, she was loading up a vehicle and was only interested in getting me out…you could tell she was in a rush but I was literally in there under 5 minutes tops. She wasn’t friendly or cheerful and could care less I was there spending money in her shop. I gave this place another chance, but I won’t be back.

I get to paint the windows here at this sweet shop. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with all the ppl that have worked here. I’ve actually had their sweets too, So I can say that the cupcakes are impeccably delicious. I’d go here every week if I lived closer, trust me!

They made a coraline cake for my daughter’s party and it turned out great! Cake was moist and flavorful. Their prices are very fair and their cakes taste better than other bakeries I’ve tried and at almost half the price.

They did a WONDERFUL job. The price, execution, timeliness, and taste of both the photo cake and a custom cake was amazing. Both cakes held up during 6 hours of travel with only ice packs and a prayer, and a day later they looked just as good as when I picked them up. Transaction was all online/over email with no issue. I would highly recommend you buy your cakes from here.

Oh the most wonderful moist tasty little treats of heaven come from right here. Cupcakes, cookies, and especially cakes for your mouthwatering enjoyment. Share or don't it's up to you but you must come down and visit these lovely ladies and try their desserts.

Going into Petite Sweets is the best decision I've made all day! The mini chocolate fudge cupcakes might be the best cupcake I've ever eaten (and I've had a lot of cupcakes in my lifetime!) The Nutella Brownies looked amazing! I couldn't decide on just one treat, so I walked out with three! The Red Velvet Cake Stack is not only delicious, but also beautiful to look at. I highly recommend this little bakery if you need something sweet to treat yourself. I will be going back many more times and taking my friends with me! Apparently she also does wedding cakes. All of her pictures and cake models were stunning! Some of the best looking cakes I've seen from here to Knoxville!

My wedding cake was made by Petite Sweets. It was an almond cake with buttercream icing. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted delicious! We are still enjoying it one slice at a time

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I went in to purchase a large order of cupcake to share with friends and wanted an extra box to divide them In and the staff told me i had to pay $6 for an extra EMPTY box. I asked the lady the 6pk of cupcakes are $7.95 but I have to pay $6 for an empty box? She told me "well that's what it costs!" Sadly I did not purchase anything and left. Staff needs to have better customer service.

My husband and I had our wedding cake made by Petite Sweets! Oh my Gosh, the most Delicious buttercream frosting EVER!!! And they are also the sweetest people!! Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely be back every time we come to town! :)

Loved all of the treats that we picked up today (cupcakes and truffles). The truffles are to die for and I highly recommend! We'll be back soon for more!!

Rachel is an absolute artist! We ordered 250 mini cupcakes for our wedding of 100 people in Roan Mountain. **Small background note- we planned this wedding from 2,200 miles away, so internet reviews were our main decision making tool and what better way to help pay it forward than to tell how great she is!** She not only went above and beyond for our needs, but she made the most delicious cupcakes we've ever had. They were amazing. We used one of her cake stands and everything from presentation to perfect taste was nailed out of the park. Absolutely killed it! My only regret is we never actually got to meet her in person! We did all of our planning over the phone and SHE HAND DELIVERED our cupcakes to the venue the morning of the wedding(45m away from her bakery!) and when we dropped off our cake stand the Monday after the wedding it was her day off. But other than our wedding planner (Honey Bee Events from Knoxville) Rachel was far and away the absolute most helpful when it came to recommendations as to places to have things like our rehearsal dinner, where to get our kegs from, good local breweries, etc.. She was a wealth of local knowledge and super friendly on top of being incredibly accommodating to our quirky confetti cake flavored cupcakes. Who says you can't have confetti cake at a wedding?? If you need a bakery for anything in or around Johnson City- Petite Sweets is the place to get it!!! Thanks for everything Rachel! Zach and Misty Hurley
