It’s not easy to find an art gallery that offers excellent framing too. This was a recommendation to me from another gallery that I also use. Tarin, the GM IS Very professional, knowledgeable and so helpful. “The proof is in the pudding “ as they say. My framing was superbly done. I chose the the frame. Good, well made frames- in my case it was Italian. Framing is expensive. This gallery was just excellent to deal with and the end framing was beyond my expectations. The gallery did a wonderful job of packing and shipping the painting directly to me. I will use them again and again.

Matt restored the damage to this unusual frame that I've had for 30 years. I was practically speechless when I went to pick it up. I asked some visiting new friends, who had not seen the piece before, to guess where the damage had been. After intense scrutiny, they gave up! Thanks Matt, I'm incredibly impressed with your skill!

Matt Petley Jones did a masterful repair of an ornate antique plaster frame that had crumbled to pieces on one side. Can't tell the difference between the original and the repair!

Petley Jones Gallery provided stellar customer service to me. I am from out of town and they worked with me over the phone and promptly in emails. When I was ready to bring my antique photos in for restoration and repair, they worked with me in the gallery to get the best look and style frames for the pieces. Having a very hectic work schedule meant I needed them to hold onto the photos for almost two months. The photos were not small by any means either. One was about 2'×3' and the other was about 1'×4' so having them hold them was very handy for me. The digital copies of both photos will allow me to share these precious family memories much more easily too.

I requested a viewing of some lovely artwork that my mother owned, e-mailed the pictures and dimensions, and details of the pieces. They were extremely prompt in assessing the works, getting back to me in one day! There was no charge at all for them to do this for me, and although the pieces were not of any exceptional value, they are just nice pieces of art. I really appreciated their assistance and knowledge they provided to me. We shall be taking a trip down to the Art Gallery one day to view it all for ourselves! Would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for appraisals! I thank them kindly!
