Absolutely fabulous evening spent cooking authentic Jordanian food with the best chef and teacher and then eating the scrumptious meal we cooked. And he shares his recipes so you can try it out at home. A must do thing to try in Petra!

We had a brilliant fun evening at Petra Kitchen under the wise guidance of Chef Reda and his team. We were greeted with a fresh juice - perfect after a day hiking in Petra. Dressed in aprons and chef hats, we got chopping. Chef Reda and his team prepped some items in advance so we could make, between us, a fantastic menu - soup, hot and cold mezze dishes and delicious Magluba for main course. The team were fun, professional and we had a great evening cooking and chatting with like minded folk. Doesn’t matter if you can cook or not, you can learn. After prep we all sat down on a long table to enjoy the results. Thoroughly recommend it. Jordanian food is delicious and we loved this meal. And you get the recipes all printed to take home. My favourite was probably the baba ganouj and fatteh. If you’re in Petra do this one evening, it’s great.

Had a great evening with my group tour learning some local recipes! Our instructor was great at explaining all the dishes and we picked up a few helpful cooking techniques. Service was great and I really love that they handed out a print out of the recipes for us so I didn’t have to take notes.

Definitely a fun experience and you learn quite a bit. The chef and his team do a great job. There's quite a bit of food made so you should have a good appetite, you definitely don't go away hungry.

That was one of the most amazing experience in Jordan. We wanted a well deserved special dinner after our visit to petra and we decided to come here. We cooked a full dinner (from aperitizer to dessert) with the help of a VERY professional and entertaining chef. Food was great. Experience was great. If I would be back to Petra one day, I will come back for sure

Best choice If you are staying near from Petra gate. Home made food, cheap, tasty and very good quality. We ate for 14JD both (pictures), large dishes and much better than other average restaurants in the area (or same street). The service was flawless, our waitress, Qussai, was excellent. Honestly, 100% recommended

Wuite good buffet restaurant with reasonable price (if I remember correctly - 10JD). The food was tasty but a bit oily. They have hummus, a few fold salads and a few warm dishes - mostly Jordanian traditionals. Also, you can order a-la carte.

Wonderful restaurant on 5th floor of Petra Boutique Hotel. Clean space with warm hospitality from the staff and chef. Chef was very happy to accommodate my vegetarian, no allium dietary restrictions. We had delicious vegetarian sawani and vegetarian maqluba (my husband says it tastes like biryani). The portion is big. Highly recommend this place for Petra visitors.
