A 💯 treat to eyes! This simply the most loved attraction in KL and MY. One of the most iconic landmarks in the world! Best time to visit is around sunset and you get great daylight views and night photos. Tickets for the Skybridge and 86th floor should be booked in advance. KLCC Park and the fountain show nearby are beautiful and great for photos. Even if you don’t go up, seeing the towers from outside is an unforgettable experience.

The Petronas Twin Towers remain the undisputed crown jewel of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, offering a breathtaking display of modern Islamic architecture that is even more impressive in person than in photographs. While I chose to skip the observation deck tour in favor of visiting the nearby KLCC Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur), the experience of viewing the Twin Towers from the ground and surrounding areas was more than worth the trip. Their gleaming stainless steel and glass facades create a mesmerizing geometric pattern that catches the sunlight by day and glows like silver beacons by night. What makes them truly remarkable is their omnipresence; no matter where you find yourself in the city, these soaring spires serve as a constant, majestic north star. Walking through the meticulously landscaped KLCC Park offers the best vantage points for photography, allowing you to appreciate the sheer scale and intricate structural details without the need for a ticket. Even without stepping inside, the towers provide a profound sense of wonder and stand as a testament to world-class engineering. They are a must-see landmark that defines the identity of Malaysia, proving that some buildings are just as impactful from the outside as they are from the top.

Of course this is a must visit tourist spot if you are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ✨ It is one of those places where you almost feel like asking, did you even go to Kuala Lumpur if you did not visit the Petronas Twin Towers. I highly recommend visiting at night. It does get more crowded, but the weather is cooler, the vibes are great, and the towers look absolutely stunning when they are lit up 🌃 During the day it can be very sunny, which makes it harder to enjoy the area, whereas at night the experience feels much more relaxed and enjoyable. There is also a big cup style night market nearby within walking distance, where you can grab food and drinks from food trucks and enjoy live music 🎶🍴 This makes it a perfect spot to spend the evening soaking in the atmosphere.

Makes you wonder if it’s one of the most under-marketed landmarks—because seeing the Petronas Twin Towers in person is far more impressive than expected. The exterior materials are stunning, and the structure’s form is architecturally striking. The night view is especially breathtaking. When lit up in white, the towers feel majestic, and you can even see the beams of light from afar—it’s a spectacular sight. Definitely worth visiting more than once. Connected to shopping malls and department stores, the area is convenient to explore. Just note that tickets for the observation deck sell out quickly, so plan ahead.

We didn't go up the towers, however there are multiple places we recommend viewing from - they are quite spectacular! You want to see them from the lake area below (Simfoni Lake i think), and also see if you can see them from another tall building - we visited the Satellite Restaurant and Bar (Imperial Lexus KL) which was great at night!

Ear popping experience you will not regret. Buying tickets in advance online recommended. Takes less than an hour and the staff are all very helpful and guide you thru every stop to the skybridge and top on the 86th floor observation deck. Great gift shops on top floor and ground as you exit. They even let you mail your postcards right there! Put this short but memorable stop on your list in KL!

This is one of the most magnificent buildings I have ever witnessed. I was fortunate enough to have access to the rooftop garden, and every morning and evening I could simply stand and admire the view—it felt almost surreal, like AI!. At night, the experience was truly indescribable. I highly recommend taking the tour; the staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, which made the experience even more memorable.

The KLCC Twin Towers night view is absolutely stunning. These iconic towers were once the tallest buildings in the world and are connected by the famous Skybridge on levels 41 and 42. A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur, especially at night, for photos, a relaxing walk, music fountain and to truly feel the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
