"This Greek restaurant comes with a lot of well-executed surf, turf, and traditional classics — not to mention a solid endorsement from critic Lesley Chesterman. Find a sizeable selection of meze to pick from to pair with fried zucchini chips and shrimp saganaki before feasting on sizeable platters weighed down with a whole roasted leg of lamb or grilled seafood. If you want the moussaka, it needs to be ordered a day in advance." - JP Karwacki

I can see why this place is a family favorite. Good, high-quality and fresh ingredients. Not every dish was a home run for me but all around a great dining experience. I highly recommend the grilled octopus, the fried zucchini, the lamb, and the calamari. Unfortunately I would say skip the Greek salad. It was 95% tomatoes and the tomatoes were not good. Also, you can skip the steak.

We had an excellent meal! We had the zucchini chips which were so Devine. We had a perfect Greek salad and tried the beet salad too. Then are main course was the grilled fish with capers… all pretty perfect. Also the friendly service was a bonus that made the evening really pleasant.

I've been coming here for years, but I wouldn't call myself a regular. Whenever I bring guests who have never been, they're always very pleased. This was the case again last week. My companion and I were very happy with all our selections. We had the fried calamari and the zucchini chips for starters and the red snapper and lamb chops as our mains. Everything was served hot and fresh with portions so large we had to leave quite a bit on our plates. The lamb chops were the best I'd had in quite some time. Tender and succulent, and they were able to accommodate my preference for them to be served rare. Staff were friendly, as usual, but service was slower on this particular visit than normal. Nice that it's a BYOB with a corkage fee, but we weren't drinking that evening. Prices have risen steadily over the years, but that's the case almost everywhere. I would consider them competitive, especially given the portion sizes.

I was very happy to find a Greek restaurant in the heart of Westmount. The food overall was good. Fried calamari portion was generous, Greek salad had fresh vegetables and authentic feta cheese (quite a challenge to find it in Montreal), shrimps in the main course were big and delicious. However, I was not happy with the sides of the shrimp dish, specifically carrot tasted horrible (as if its expired), potatos and rice on the same plate made no sense at all. The restaurant ambiance is amazing, rustic Greek decor and plates are very well picked. Cheers to the hostess at the entrance, what a lovely girl, so helpful and friendly!

We came to Petros as a large group and they offered us excellent service. Starting by the nice gentleman who took our reservation and answered all my questions, to the staff who was kind and attentive during our meal. The food was exceptional and very generous portions. Thank you for everything, I will definitely love to come back to try other dishes.

My family and I got some appetizers to share, including the skordalia (a dish that is kind of like mashed potatoes), saganaki (a fried cheese dish that you make by setting cheese on fire), and Greek salad. For the main course, I got the shrimp pasta and then for dessert, I got the baklava. Everything was delicious! Also, our waiter was super nice and had a great sense of humor, and I really like the decor of the restaurant as well!

Lamb chops were great, but the fish had too many bones to be enjoyed properly. Atmosphere is a bit noisy but fine. Green vegetables were honestly not good, need to re-think how you cook them. Baklava was decent, no need to reinvent a classic that can be perfectly done by adding things that barely go with it (e.g. strawberry jam)

Beautiful restaurant with great company. With only one waiter and 2 hostesses to service the entire place, it took longer than expected. Manager present but didn't seem to help much. The Greek salad had large cuts of tomatoes with a good dressing. The grilled calamari tasted good too. Had the salmon, grilled shrimp and swordfish which all were prepared very well. The green beans were rather mushy unfortunately.
