If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! I placed an order for caviar on 12/7/20 with scheduled delivery for 12/19, my husband’s birthday. First off, you are quoted a delivery fee of 35.00 which is tripled without your knowledge or approval. When you create an account on their website, you CANNOT SEE YOUR ORDER. You cannot check on your order. You cannot see your order history. In fact, even the pricing disappears from the site on your account. Just take their word for it. You are emailed a receipt and that’s it So, I tried calling their customer service number. This is just an answering service that cannot verify anything, only take a message for you. Good luck getting a call back. On 12/18 I contacted their NYC restaurant to see if they could help. This is what I was told: “There are those who know what’s going on here, and there are those who manage everything. At Petrossian, they are not the same person. You can talk to one or the other, but not both.” I still had not heard anything and realized that my overpriced overnight delivery wasn’t happening. First they sent an email telling me my delivery wouldn’t make it bc there “is no FedX in my area”. My city is a FEDX hub! Next they said it would be shipped out ASAP. As of 12.19 all that’s happened is they requested a label from FedX. At 9 at night On the 19th, when we should have been enjoying 260 bucks worth of caviar, I got a call from a number that said “spam risk” on my phone. It was actually some woman from Petrossian telling me that my order was shipped on Saturday (FedX said it wasn’t) and it would arrive on Monday. So now I am at a loss - my order will take 48 hours by which time my caviar will be spoiled. Petrossian says right on their website that they don’t ship over Sunday on perishable items like caviar. But I guess when they screw up they send tainted food - perishable food be damned. Do yourself a favor and order from a reliable company that cares about their customers. Apparently the name Petrossian is not the hallmark of quality (or honesty). RIP-OFF.
