My companion and I have some time to spend here in Chicago have we discovered Petterinos. The food is excellent. Did the house bread is fresh and delicious. The Caesar salad, excellent. My companion says that the Calabrese Shrimp has the best marinara sauce he's ever had. We loved the comfortable outside seating.

Petterino’s Pasticceria is a delightful spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! The food was incredible – the pastries were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. I especially enjoyed the (mention any specific pastry or item you loved). The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the warm and inviting experience. The atmosphere was charming, with a cozy vibe that made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a treat. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or sitting down for a coffee, this is a must-visit bakery. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their delicious

Wow! This place was so cute! What a perfect little spot to grab something quick to go - and with great service. Everything packed in nice containers with enough silverware and napkins. We were able to sit down and enjoy at one of the three tables outside, but it would have been delicious at home too. We got the Italian and caprese sandwich and the chopped salad which was an A+. The chocolate donut was bigger than my head and delicious! Coffee and tea were also very enjoyable. Must stop by for a quick bite to go!

Great service! Atmosphere is awesome. Food was good. My daughter got the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were mushy and tasted off. My husband got a rigatoni with sausage which was excellent. I got a pasta dish that was supposed to have olives. Although it was good it had no olives.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by this adorable little place. It's right next to (on the side of Petterinos resturant). The place is small inside with the counter to order from and right out front there are a couple of places to sit. The woman working there was lovely, so friendly and really hooked me up with the pastries! The brownie was fantastic, perfectly moist and rich melt in your mouth fudgey flavor. The ricotta berry cake (I think that's what it was called) was a recommendation by the staff and fantastic- great flavor of berries, moist and dense and not too sweet. The lemon loaf was ok, but was too dry for my tastes. I can only speak for the pastries, but their other menu items also looked good. Definitely recommend checking out.

Google
Very charming place, small outdoor seating with just a couple of tables and efficient gas warmers. Great coffee, served in real china cups if you're consuming on site - definitely a plus for any serious coffee shop. The pastries all looked great, I had the cinnamon roll and that was the best I can remember ever having.

Google
This place deserves so much more attention. Everything I ordered was made fresh that morning, you can taste it. The ricotta berry slice was an amazing texture and not too sweet. The pancetta cinnamon roll was a bit too hard for my liking at the outside, but the bacon they put it in it is so unique and balanced perfectly. I am absolutely getting these again and trying more next time. They also have adorable seating outside. One of my favorite bakeries in Chicago. You will not regret coming here!!

Yelp
What a beautiful little space for a sweet midday pasterie and a cup of cappuccino, with tons of charm right off Randolph Street in the Loop with a great upscale patio! It's somewhat secluded and easy to miss yet sits just opposite Daley Plaza. Look for the red awning and cute bistro tables. The girl at the counter was cheerful and I feel pricing is fair. Overall I'd definitely recommed it if you want something that just feels a bit more sophisticated.

Yelp
(G)o - Local gem in the loop with the cutest decor! Definitely coming back for a sweet treat (W)ow factor - The heated patio with fairylights and flowers on each table is such a vibe. It's easy to miss when walking by, so keep a look out! (A)mbiance - No indoor seating so it's perfect for summer weather, although seating is limited. Service at the counter is efficient and friendly. (M)enu - Solid breakfast sandwich for 5.99 and huge old fashioned donut for 3.75. Varied assortment of croissants, cookies, donuts, and slices of cake.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good cup of coffee and a sweet treat and Petterino's delivered in both! They have great selection of drinks and sweets but I ultimately decided on a gingerbread mocha and a lemon ricotta cookie. The mocha was wonderfully balanced, not overly sweet, and the lemon cookie was pure heaven. Full of lemon flavor but sooo pillowy soft and topped with a luscious lemon glaze. You also HAVE to sit in their heated outdoor patio during the holiday season. Christmas music, lights and decor galore, heaters, and people watching. What better way to get in the Christmas spirit and enjoy a coffee break.

Yelp
Just the cutest place ever! It's a bit hard to miss - It is between the Petterino's restaurant and Corner Bakery. So tiny, I've only been here to get their coffee. Loved their mocha, lavender latte can be a tad bit better. There's only one barista but it's been pretty quick. I would come back to try their lunches and/or after work drinks. It's a very cozy place - almost like a bistro in Europe.

Yelp
Nothing like local! Petterino's not only serves delicious pastured, but also some light breakfast items and delicious lattes/coffee/etc. Nestled next to its restaurant, this little shop has many cute little items and drinks that you can grab too. Let's give MAJOR props to the outdoor heater, what a godsend and wonderful way to enjoy those passing by. I stopped here on a Friday morning and was just so content sipping latte before work outside.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped at Petterino's for a quick bite ahead of a show at the Nederlander theatre. We had spent most of the day walking around Chicago and wanted something light as we had eaten at late lunch. This place is exactly what I expect at a Chicago Italian restaurant. The service is impeccable, the place packed, white linens, and servers moving quickly. We sat at the bar and each had a drink. My gin and tonic was ok, not great. I'd order wine next time. We ordered the meatball appetizer to share and they were delicious! The sauce was to die for! Once we finished eating and our drinks, I ordered an espresso and my wife coffee to go with the Broken Lemon Tart. OMG, GET THIS DESSERT! So good.

Yelp
Cute little cafe if you want a quick lunch, coffee or a sandwich to go. There are a few tables outside, but a seat may or may not be available. Really good espresso!

Yelp
I felt like I was in a European cafe! Such a cute ambiance. The staff was so friendly and the drink prices were the best in the city. Stop in if you pass by and you won't be sorry!

Yelp
This spot was so cute and the ambiance sitting outside was perfect for a summer night! The service was amazing and the wine and pizza were delicious as well! The pastries were PHENOMENAL, seriously the brownie was to die for I would highly recommend checking it out :)

Yelp
Transported to a coffee shop in Italy! Freshly baked pastries, homemade donuts, $6 all day wine- red, white and Prosecco! My favorite champagne- Veuve Cliquot, every cocktail you could imagine and all the coffees and espressos you dream of. Made to order sandwiches, salads, pizza, soups and chilis. Do not miss out of this slice of Italy in the loop!
