Yelp
Unfortunately my excitement to try this restaurant exceeded my experience. I've heard nothing but good things about the brunch. Pros: we were seated at the time of our reservation. It's a nice restaurant. Cons: it was a day when they were low on a lot of things. No tea at all, my friend ordered the seafood quiche which arrived cold. I ordered the omelet and it was just okay. If I try it again i would try the dinner in hopes of having a better expweience

Yelp
This is a perfect Black-owned restaurant to sit and have a tasty brunch and cocktail. The pancakes were very fluffy and light. The service is pretty quick and our waitress was attentive and the food came out pretty fast considering we were on a tight timeline. The music is great and a nice variety. The ambiance is very laid back and just the spot to meet up for tasty for with a friend! Go and you'll love it.

Yelp
Petty Cash exceeded expectations! Prompt service and delicious food. The shrimp and grits were divine, and the mimosa tower was a delightful touch. Definitely coming back! Great for brunch with family, a date, or with the girls! I recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times.

Yelp
Painfully slow service. Our server was sweet but we barely saw her. Seemed like there was quite a few workers running around but only two people "serving." Drinks tasted good but were very sweet and rimmed with sugar. To be fair, the food looked and smelled delicious but I only went for a cocktail. I expected a lot more from the place but I probably won't go back due to the extremely slow service. It was a cute industrial vibe with dark interior and gold seating and booths and lighting.

Yelp
Petty Cash did not disappoint! I tried this restaurant for brunch. It was highly recommended. The vibes were on point. The music accentuated the laid back vibe. I grooved to @sza and @hermusicofficial while sipping on brunch cocktails. The shrimp and grits were perfectly seasoned and the portion size was enough to share a bite or two. The Beef Hash was seasoned well. Only complaint is I would have liked my potatoes cut slightly larger. The pancake was fluffy and full of flavor and didn't require any syrup. If you're in the Detroit area I highly recommend checking out @pettycashdetroit When I visit the area in the future I'll make sure to patronize this establishment. Food and service were on point.

Yelp
I was going to rate this place a 3/5 stars but my friend gave me a better perspective. This place is a good spot to have drinks at and some food to share. I came here to dine and was unimpressed by the food. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but could be better. All the food I tried were good but nothing phenomenal. I thought that the sticky wings were a little too salty. I also felt like there could've been a sauce or something to accompany the oyster mushrooms. Maybe I didn't order the right things but, the food didn't wow me. The restaurant had very good drinks that I could tell were thoughtfully crafted. They were tasty and strong! On top of that, the service was top notch. My friend asked the server about the song and bonded over how they both didn't like it. It was funny because after the conversation, the server decided to change the song for us! Again, I wouldn't come here for dinner but I would come here to have drinks and share bites with friends. I would be open to trying brunch here eventually.

Yelp
Ok so beautiful restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, beautiful decor, beautiful people, great music. Has a dark and moody, art deco ish vibe. My sister in law wanted to come for their pancakes and she talked SO highly of them that I wanted to get 'em too. But they were out of batter by the time we got there ): Instead she got some eggs, bacon, and a sweet potato biscuit. They never brought the bacon. Since they didn't have pancakes, I was gonna get the french toast, but I asked the server about it and got the vibe that it wasn't that good...so I passed. I did get the seafood (shrimp, crab and scallop) quiche and BABY. It was so light and buttery and fluffy. An all-star entree. I don't live in Detroit and I wish somebody could mail me some for brunch next weekend. Even the little arugula salad on the side was tasty. But that biscuit??? I love ALL things sweet potato - pie, cookies, cupcakes, fries, you name it! So I fully expected to love this biscuit too. Wrong. It was...weird. First of all, it came out COLD. It was very dark brown and smelled like a gingerbread cookie. It was kinda dry like one too. But it didn't taste at all like I expected. Maybe there was a lot of nutmeg? I don't know it just didn't taste right. I asked to send it back. For drinks I got an espresso martini (Espresso Self). Unlike most I've had, this one was kinda creamy. Not bad at all, buuuut I wouldn't get it again. My second drink was Orange You Glad You Came and I liked that one way better. I appreciated that the drinks all had fun, cutesy names, but the drink menu is wayyy too long imo. Decision overload. My brother got the fried chicken and tore it up, but I tried it and as a Southerner, it was just ok.I've had better fried chicken at gas stations. Our server was so down to earth and funny. I lost my receipt and can't remember their name,

Yelp
The banana bread French toast alone is worth the trip here! It is delectable! The brisket hash was also a winner! I know the sweet potato biscuit is popular but it was a little dry for our taste, still great flavour. The crab cake benny, wouldn't circle back for but the friend chicken was definitely one we would order again!

Yelp
It's really nice to have a restaurant like this in the area. A nice place to take a date or a great option for a fancy dinner in the neighborhood. The wings, brussel sprouts, and seafood risotto, were all well made and tasty. The crab cakes can be left alone and the peach cobbler was okay but i wasn't a fan of diced peaches in the cobbler, it's better with whole slices. My drink was well made too. Our server was really nice and had big smile the whole time. The bill was big, so it's more of a special occasion type of place, but it could also be a nice place to go and enjoy cocktails and apps with friends as well. If you're in the area check this place out.

Yelp
First time here - small but unique menu and great ambience with a mix of inside and covered outside seating with heaters. We started with the sticky wings - and if I come again, this would be high on my list to re-order. They were delicious and sweet and sticky. Had to wash my hands afterward. And thought... they should bring you a wet napkin. Well a bit later, wet napkins and lemons did arrive. This brings me to a point. We really enjoyed most of the food. The service was friendly but delayed. The napkins as an example. But we were here with friends so the leisurely pace was fine for us overall. For entrees, we had the lamb ribs and the caramelized onion burger. And loved the flavors of both. And for sides, we shared with our friends - the hot fried mushrooms (which were ok but definitely our least fav) and the goat cheese Brussels sprouts which were amazing. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back.

Yelp
It's great to see an upscale restaurant in this area of northern Detroit. We made reservations for a Saturday night, which I would recommend for a dinner weekend, and were seated right away. We really liked the ambiance, clean, sleek lines, with accent touches. They have a nice cocktail list, though I did not love their wine list. The menu is short, and appears to change regularly. Everything we tried was great, it's not worth going into items in detail as it is unlikely to be on the menu at another visit. There were some negatives in our experience. The first was the music volume when we arrived. It was club-loud, we had to yell to hear each other over a two person table. Someone must have realized and turned it down a bit, while I would still consider it loud for an upscale price point menu, we were no longer waiting for the dance floor. There were also some service issues. The table behind us order after us, and appeared to order some of the same items, and they arrived at their table first. The second drink order we almost gave up on. And my biggest service complaint, especially at this level, is having to beg for the tab. Have you seen the TikTok about people giving up on waiting for the check? This is something I hope they can address and I'd be willing to go back again.

Yelp
Petty Cash is a cozy new restaurant in Downtown Detroit with a heated outdoor patio and full bar. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the vibrant decor with a classic urban city feel. I can definitely see this place turning into one Detroit's go-to Friday night destinations! I read a bunch about the elaborate drink menu here so I was very excited to try one of their mock-tails. My drink looked gorgeous and was topped with an edible flower. Unlike a lot of mock-tails that I've tried, this one actually had a nuanced flavor profile and wasn't overly sweet. I forgot the name of the drink, but it was packed with ginger which gave it the perfect amount of spice. For dinner I had the brisket burger which was unfortunately underwhelming. The meat itself was cooked to perfection and seasoned but I couldn't taste the "fancy sauce" described in the menu, or any of the other garnishes that were supposed to be included. The burger didn't come with fries so I ordered a side of fries for $8 and received fairly ordinary fast-food-style French fries. I finished my meal off with sampling two different desserts, the lemon leche cake and the pineapple coconut cake. I enjoyed the pineapple cake more although both cakes were on the sweeter side with a thick layer of frosting. Overall, the dinner was good but I was expecting more for the price. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed my time here and think it's the perfect spot for a more upscale weekend night out with tasty food to accompany the drinks and great vibes!

Yelp
I'm stuck between three and four stars with this establishment, but have decided to go with four. I'm not a huge fan of paying a fee to book a reservation; I do understand the purpose behind doing so, but only if I'm able to be seated at the time of my reservation. When I arrived at 7pm for my reservation, I was unable to sit until about fifteen minutes later. This is pretty annoying considering the fee, but I digress. The service is a bit slower, and it's unfortunate because they have gratuity included in their bills. Our waitress was nice, but she was not attentive at all. Our plates were dirty too, which is disappointing. Positives: I can say that the environment is gorgeous, black folks everywhere, music was fire, the drinks are strong and everything we ate was pure fire. The lamb ribs? Amazing! The salad with the sweat potatoes? AMAZING!!!! And it appears to be blacked owned. This is why they get four stars from me. Keep it up! I'll be back soon.

Yelp
Great place, great service, & great food. I ordered the seafood quiche and loved everything about it! It came with a nice side salad. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I initially wanted a cocktail that had lavender in it. I was bummed to find out they didn't have any. My husband ordered the fried chicken and was NOT disappointed. I'll admit, it is close to the best I ever had. I definitely suggest making reservations. It was $10 per person to reserve but, they take it off of your bill. There is also 20% gratuity already included. They offer valet for $10. The whole experience was a little pricey but overall very nice. You definitely get what you paid for!

Yelp
This newer restaurant is well decorated and has a nice heated patio. The food was pretty good. The lobster risotto was delicious! The lobster was very tender. The fried mushroom appetizer was very flavorful but not crispy. The petty sangria was strong and a little too sweet but full of flavor. Unfortunately the biggest downside was the service. We waited an extra 20, 30 minutes for our reserved table. Thankfully a nice woman apologized but not the hostess. The waitress forgot multiple things we asked for. Our entrees came out at very different times and the dishes weren't cleared for quite a while. Multiple dishes weren't available even though our reservation was right after they opened for dinner. The upside is pretty great food and lots of options for drinks!

Yelp
THEY ARE LITERALLY NEVER OPEN. DISAPPOINTING. If you have a business, you should be open during the hours of operation, period. People travel, time, gas, to frequent your establishments--if you're not open when you say you'll be--it's just like a man who can't keep his word. no thanks.

Yelp
The place is beautifully done. The service could be better. It was my first time here yesterday evening (6/2/23). I would like to come back & experience more. The menu is different & unique. The music section is amazing. I loved the black & gold decor but it was a bit bland. It could use a sign w/ the restaurant name on the inside; or more art and mirrors. It's really noisy inside though; like even when the place cleared a few tables. The host told us there was no available tables and recommended the bar area. My party of 3 sat across from the bar. No one greeted us or said a word. Staff just kept walking by. We saw a waitress w/ mini cup looking shot glasses. We stopped her and asked "whats going on". "Is it a special?" and she said "no, they are complimentary". That was exciting. The shot was tart/ kinda sour. It had a good amount of alcohol in it. Still not our waiter or bartender though; So we stopped someone and asked for the menu. We were given the QR code to scan. After flagging down a waiter again. The drinks were strong but didn't really taste flavorful. The mango go crazy beverage was more spicy then anything. The hot honey mushrooms tasted great! Reminded me of sweet & spicy chicken lol. The Brussel sprouts were my favorite! The fries seem like the needed to be cooked in fresher grease but they didn't taste bad && were really hot/ holding heat. The burgers both brisket & mushroom needs a more seasoning. They matched the bland decor lol. We had to ask for water refills, the bill and for them to take the bill so we could pay. Lol the staff was not on top of service to me at all, minus the host. Overall, it took about 35 mins b4 our appetizers came out. The food came out like 5mins after. There was no urgency or sense of time/ efficiency. They didn't know who ordered what upon delivery. Whats silly to me is that they give you a time limit on the menu (90min) on how long you can stay at the bar or tables, but they do not move fast or greet you in a decent manner.

Yelp
We came here for my birthday brunch. Didn't have to wait long and the atmosphere was nice. All our food was good but the eggs and omelet my girls order were both over done. Our waiter was ok as he forgot some of our order and didn't split the bill like we wanted. Another waiter came over and rectified everything. We gave her an extra tip! Wish I knew her name.

Yelp
This is a nice place. The food was pretty good and the customer service was great. I liked the atmosphere and the fact they had outdoor seating available. There are 2 downfalls that were unappealing which lead to the 4's. The 1st is that there is a time limit to the dining experience and the 2nd is the parking is horrible.

Yelp
This review is not about the food or the service of Petty Cash but more about the things the "nickel and dime" things associated with the dining experience. I have been to Petty Cash twice; first in the summer where I made a patio reservation online that required a $200 reservation fee that I was ok paying. I had a party of 6 and hitting that amount would be easy. We enjoyed our food, paid cash for a meal however, it took several calls to the restaurant after to get them to refund my fee. I also was taken aback by the $20 fee to park your car; do yourself a favor and park on the street or the neighborhood behind the restaurant. Yet, I went back last week with a friend for appetizers and drinks. Again, the food and drinks were good but when we got our $200 bill, we were both surprised. Part of that is that they add 20% gratuity to your bill; this is common for large parties but we had 2 people! I do typically tip 18-20% but to have it added didn't sit well with me. The worst thing was the $22 charge for our Old Fashioned cocktails.. On top of charging for the liquor we chose, they also charge $2 for a block of ice for each drink (did I have an option for other ice?) and another $2/drink to make the liquor and Old Fashioned (see photo of the bill). I want to love Petty Cash and make it a regular stop but between the charge for ice/drink, $20 parking, working to get my reservation fee back and the automated gratuity; it would be hard

Yelp
My experience was deeply disappointing. After waiting an hour for drinks and 45 minutes for our starter salads, I eventually asked for a Coke and that came fairly quickly. The appetizers came around 9:30 (7:30 seating) and the crab cake was ice cold. When the food came, (risotto and red snapper) they were cold. I had to send the snapper back twice. Also, the advertised menu was sea bream not snapper. I can get snapper anywhere, sea bream is different. I was looking forward to that, and there was no mention of a menu change, just a listing of the options, and I was only told there was a change when I asked why it was snapper. The bread pudding was cold and hard as a rock in places, and I finally just told our server I would eat it because I was afraid if I sent it back, nothing else would come. The manager came over at one point, and then in the middle of me explaining what some of my concerns were, stopped, went to grab something, and never came back. At the end of the night, after everyone else had complained and gotten some comps, we were charged for two cokes (I only ever ordered one but the originally ordered one took over an hour!) the champagne that we were told was on the house because of all the problems, and the manager never even apologized. I watched him go around to tables making scenes and comp them things, and I guess I should have caused a scene too because being charged for the champagne after all of that was just disrespectful. There was no "champagne toast" as advertised. My date and I watched the countdown clock on our phones and toasted each other when it hit midnight. Two minutes later someone said "Oh is it new year? Happy New Year!" I paid for an experience, and I certainly got one, but definitely not what I was expecting. Unforgettable in a deeply disappointing and honestly hurtful way. I have enjoyed this place, and supporting black-owned businesses is so important to me, but I doubt I will ever be back. I will be writing to get my money back as well.

Yelp
I was excited to visit Petty Cash but it was a total let down. My party of two arrived right as brunch service started. The place was near empty which makes our experience particularly disappointing. The service was friendly but incompetent, the staff just kept make excuses for every failure. From the moment my biscuit arrived alone and without condiments before the rest of our meals, I knew something was off. Things went downhill from there. The servers were preoccupied on their phones; cooks in the open kitchen moved slowly and side dishes arrived before entrees and sat lonely for 20+ mins until they turned cold. Cold grits anyone? The appetizing sweet potato biscuit was served with grape jelly (the horror! ) which completely masked the biscuit flavor. The Foragers omelette and side salad was fine but they went enough to save this review. The overall service was friendly, but very slow, disjointed and not strategic. In short, the place needs some Gordon Ramsey style training.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for all things Black Excellence. This is one of those places you walk into and smile. From the decor to the music, everything is black contemporary greatness. With that being said, I wish somethings would be tweaked before I try them again Customer service: A1, top tier, no complaints Ambiance: Again, beautiful, almost had a lounge vibe to it Food: here is where things left me a bit underwhelmed. Ordered a drink, I think sexy and confused with the recommended rum. I just don't think cinnamon belongs in everything fall because I was not a fan of. Ordered a go to for me, whiskey sour, and it was only just ok. My partner enjoyed his drink though I can't remember the name. So hit or miss on the drinks depending on your taste. We ordered the Brussel sprouts which were really good, but didn't match the description on the menu as I guess they recently did an update to the recipe. Good changes just wish it was reflected in the menu. I'm pescatarian so options were limited. We tried the mussels and the jerk lobster which was priced at $60 market price. Mussels were delicious especially the bread provided to dip them in. Great choice. My partner liked the lobster but stated he was underwhelmed with the dish as a whole which was disappointing. Overall, great vibe, but not quite the full excellence experience I was expecting from them. As their ally pleasing but needs more depth.

Yelp
Must be good. I can never get it. All my friends rave about it. The only problem I am told is the valet charge

Yelp
Went here with a group of friends to celebrate a late Galentines Day! Upon walking in, it definitely exudes a chill vibe with the sleek black walls, gold accents, and leather furniture. We unfortunately had to wait 20 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. When we were seated, our table was on the heated patio and it consisted of lounge seating (a couch + arm chairs around a coffee table). This could be nice for just drinks and talking, but we were wanting to feast so we asked to move to the nearby high top table which they were happy to accommodate. The food was a pleasant surprise and I can definitely see why this place has gotten so many rave reviews. Some of the highlights were the hot and honey fried mushrooms (they tasted similar to chicken wings!) and the lemon leche cake (moist, lemony, with a not too sweet caramel sauce). I also got the sweet potato arugula salad that was good, but the brown butter dressing was too heavy and rich for my taste. I docked a star mainly for the poor service. It could have been because we were out on the patio instead of the main dining room, but the combination of waiting more than 15 minutes to be seated even with a reservation, having to ask multiple times/people if they could please turn off one of the heaters because we were hot af, and then our dinner plates not being cleared even after we had dessert, made me feel a little less enthralled about an overall great experience. Pro tips: - there's paid valet parking, otherwise it's free street parking - you have to pay a fee to make a reservation - there's apparently a DJ during brunch on the weekends - it can get pretty loud with the music and how busy they are. Just an FYI that it may interfere with the ability to hear other people that are just across the table

Yelp
Great service, welcoming and accommodating staff, delicious drinks, and food which was hot and fresh. I ate the wings and fries so quick I forgot to take a picture

Yelp
Great vibe and best playlist hands down (downtown spots would be better served to take note regarding adding substantive and grown hip hop to playlists). The food was good, but like all of the trendy spots, way over priced. The peach salad was so delicious, with sweet, ripe fruit. The greens were too stringy to eat elegantly, however. The jerk shrimp was very charred, my least favorite. The wings were by far our fave. My friend didn't particularly like her grilled Caesar salad, but since she didn't offer a bite, I didn't taste it. It looked good. The staff is attentive, friendly and fun. Bartenders went above and beyond to make the experience special (see pic). If you want to avoid the restrictive reservation policy ($20/person, 24 hr cancellation or non-refundable), your best bet at a seat (for now anyway), is to get to the bar before 5:30 (they open at 5). Valet is pricey at $20. I parked on Livernois for free a 2 minute walk away. Again, getting there early is key. We retired to the patio as evening fell for a post dinner cocktail where the seating was sumptuous and the summer evening air was warm. The chef came out to introduce himself and even chatted food a bit, showing his true passion for the craft. Twenty percent gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Service was so good, we tipped above the 20%. Make sure you bring your not-so-petty cash stash for spending . You'll have a great time!

Yelp
Went for the first time on a Saturday. It was super busy, VERYYYYYYY loud! & I didn't really care for the seating arrangements. The two top seats in the middle of the floor while people are constantly walking back and forth was just not comfortable. The music was good but you could barely hear it. IF I ever go back, it'll be earlier and on a week day. Never on the weekend again.

Yelp
We stopped by this evening without a reservation, excited to try a new place on a rare outing as parents of two. We had our infant and despite being quite busy, Lee made sure to accommodate us. We felt very welcomed. We knew we were going to like the place the minute we saw the drink menu. I ordered the Bulba (this nerd's fav Pokémon) as a mocktail and my partner ordered the King Kai. The Bulba was super herbaceous and delicious. The thyme on the King Kai was surprising and made for a unique drink. This is a small plates place, so food comes out as it is ready and you are encouraged to share. We ordered the Peach & Radicchio Salad, Curried Carrots, Jerk Shrimp, and Sea Bream. The Jerk Shrimp was my fav, excellent flavor, big juicy shrimp, crisp peppers and bright mango slices. The only thing that was missing was a piece of crusty bread to mop up all the sauce. The inside is quite snazzy and I loved the vibe. I was jamming to the music throughout the meal. The staff as kind and attentive. The only real bummer was that they didn't have the churro dessert available this evening, but I look forward to going back another time to try it!

Yelp
Very cute brunch place. 3 of us came for brunch before our show. Parking was a pain. Either try to find a parking on the street (not very welcoming neighborhood) or pay $$ for valet parking (limited spots). Staff was very friendly. Food was yummy but it was not served at the same time. 2 of us already finished eating and the third one was never brought her food. Finally, a manager came up and said that whatever a person ordered, they run out of and can make another dish. You'd think they would tell us ahead of time. So that was uncomfortable. However, they didn't charge my friend for the dish. Dessert was very limited. Another thing I realized at the end that the place is charging $10 pp at the time of reservation. If I knew that I probably would not go there in the first place.

Yelp
What a great little place! Great ambiance and decor. Parking is small but they have valet service if you don't want to park on the street and walk. We came for brunch with friends and we all enjoyed the experience. Wait staff was attentive and prompt. I had forager's mushroom omlette with a salad. It was good but I wish they put more mushrooms for a stronger flavor. My friend had a duck hash - I tried it and it was delicious - just enough sauces/spice to make it moist and flavorful. My other friend had a seafood quiche and I'm definitely going to order it next time. Their dessert menu was a bit limited so we skipped it. I wish restaurants would have a mix of their own creations but add in a few of the traditional desserts for a picky eater like I am. :)

Yelp
Petty Cash has been on the 'places to try' list for quite some time!!! And I'm so glad we did. My Best friend & I tried it out on Sunday (1/29) for brunch. It was a vibe and a truly good time! Food: VERY good. I got the short rib hash. Portion size was excellent- not too much, not too little. The flavors were so very good! I really enjoyed the meal. I also got the sweet potato biscuit. Flavor was good, however it was dry. Not fluffy as I would have liked. My Best got the Seafood Quiche and she she enjoyed every bit of it. We both left no crumbs... okaaayy?! Service: I def give it an A+. Stephanie was our server and she had a wonderfully pleasant attitude and beautiful energy! Her locs were on point too. Ambiance: Super cute inside. The decor is definitely giving Detroit...and make it warm, edgy + classy! I was really feeling it. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here. I'll be back for dinner in 2 weeks. I recommend making reservations (especially for brunch) as it's not a very spacious place.

Yelp
Food was exceptional, I had the shrimp and grits. Couldn't take a picture because it smelled as good as it tasted, and dug in as soon as I got it. My server Taylor was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food. Good little vibe, music, and ambience. I will be back!

Yelp
For brunch at least, well worth the trip! I always like to try brunch at expensive restaurants because the entrees are a little cheaper than dinner and this convinced me to try dinner sometime, such good quality food! Also they check on you and make sure the food is to your taste a lot. The drinks are amazing also!

Yelp
Good food, super cute interior and easy on street parking. Cocktails- the smoky sazerac was really tasty, highly recommend. Apps- got the mushrooms, tasted like buffalo chicken, very good. A lot of people were also ordering the carrots. I want to try when I come back. Food- highly recommend the lobster risotto and the pork chop. Both were very good. Service- ok, I thought our waiter was very nice. The pace of the service though was too slow. You look around and everyone is waiting. It just didn't seem like things were moving fast. I know the restaurant is still new, so perhaps they're just working through that. Overall, really enjoyed the food and the drinks. Would come back, just need to give plenty of time for a long dinner.

Yelp
We had a wonderful brunch here last weekend. Excellent food and service. I had the crab cakes benedict, which were outstanding. The mimosas were great; very fresh and delicious. Oh, and the biscuits!! Seriously, the biscuits are light and fluffy and taste like heaven. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The place is very nice. The employees are very attentive. We sat at the bar and boy o boy just watching the Female Bartender make those signature drinks was very entertaining and at most very good. My son had a vegan burger that he said was very good. My husband had the Brisket Burger that I tasted and it was Delicious. I ordered the sticky chicken wings. My only complaint is the size of the wings was too big. I tasted one it was not what I considered sticky but it was ok. The Manager noticed I didn't eat my food and offered something else, which I was really impressed. I was full eating from my son Fries and husband burger. At the end of our stay the bill came and the Chicken wings were taken off the bill. This something that seldom happens. Thank you I will definitely return I told the Bartender this is definitely a place for me and my Girlfriends. Thank you

Yelp
8-24-2023 We made a reservation online. The hostess greeted us with a smile, seated us and waters were brought almost immediately. Then, we waited for over 30 minutes as waitresses and other personnel walked by. No one seemed to know we hadn't ordered, or seemed interested in serving us. There seemed to be confusion in the kitchen area. The weirdest part, is the place was not that busy. I wish I could have tried the food, since the vibe was nice.

Yelp
A friend and I met for Saturday brunch. From the entry the atmosphere was relaxed, jazzy, perfect place regardless of age group ( well maybe not great-gran) My first visit and wow! I had Crab Benedict w/house-made English-muffins...excellent! My friend had the breakfast trio w/grits, bacon and scrambled eggs. Let's not forget the house-made sweet potato biscuit and peach mimosas! Great seating...patio or indoor.... And the live DJ! Our servers were great and I could tell they are team players... they look out for each other. Really chill and efficient... if that makes sense. It did get a little loud but overall a wonderful experience. Can't wait for my brother- (the foodie) and husband- (the sous chef), to experience this as well.

Yelp
I went here with a group of girlfriends and we are all foodies! The cocktails hit the spot and the food was good. Here is a list of every thing that we ordered: Brisket burger Grilled Caesar salad 1/2 Fried Chicken Peach & Radicchio salad Brussel sprouts Peri Peri wings Aloha cocktails Petty cocktails Also, our waitress was Shardaya (who was new to this restaurant) provided excellent service)! Gratuity is included at 20%, but we left her additional, because of her superb service. Only caveat: parking is $20 in the adjacent lot, but you can find a parking spot on Livernois. Bon appetit!

Yelp
A smooth groove, and a good move Petty cash's vibes don't disappoint. Extending the Livernois Avenue of fashion, this establishment brings old school notes, new school aesthetic's, and good food. Things to know: - reservations require a deposit - you'll see the who's who of Detroit , low key - potion has big potential

Yelp
The ambiance here is cool. It's nicely decorated with open air wall leading out to a patio area. The service was high-brow, friendly, and fast. The drinks were very good. The "spicy" one I had wasn't all that spicy considering how much the menu warns you about it. But it was still tasty. The food however, which is kind of the point of a restaurant, was not that great. Brussel sprouts were really good but that was about it. The honey mushrooms were drowning in buffalo sauce-- too much. The oxtail tacos were bland. The lamb ribs were tasty but a bit gamy and sparse on the actual meat. It was fun to try this place out but I don't plan on going back.

Yelp
Beautiful building inside and out. Our waitress was nice, knowledgeable and service was great! Was concerned at the lack of selection on the menu. BUT was pleasantly surprised!! We all were! The asparagus and Brussels were delicious! Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Uniquely flavored wings were also good; little to high in heat and spice for our taste. Luckily we got the sauce they are normally served with on the side. The lamb ribs and burger!! BA B OOOOOWEEEE never had lamb ribs and they were sooooo goood! The BLUE DROP cocktail was also BOMB! New fav drink!! We cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Horrible experience. Do not go here if you're hungry. We waited 2 and a half hours for our food. This is a good place to drink not eat.

Yelp
Found this gem on Eater Detroit and Yelp. Food, service and ambiance is 5 star. And it's super clean! You can see the kitchen and it sparkles. Every team member was friendly from the hostess to server to management to bus people. We had the brussels sprouts, corn and okra, lamb ribs and crab cake, as well as the blueberry lemon drop cocktail and the chocolate chip cookie sundae. We would recommend all of them. You can park on the street or they have secure valet parking right there.

Yelp
Agree that $20 for valet parking is ridiculous. The drinks were decent. The server was nice, but the pacing was too fast. Without music playing, the noise level was ok. With it, it was hard to hear each other. The roasted Caesar was good, though we should have had larger plates to share it. The lamb ribs had great flavor, but were a bit fatty. Those and the mussels came out before we were 1/2 way done with our salads.

Yelp
The Ambiance is wonderful and the food is delicious! It's on the historic Avenue of fashion and it boasts an elegant style. They even have live music during the week. Oh... and brunch on the weekends with mouth watering pancakes.

Yelp
Didn't like I had to sit at a table in the middle of the floor because it was only 2 of us, service was ahhh, the food & drinks were way overpriced for me, the ambiance was real cool and layed back but not to sure about me returning and I live around the corner from it

Yelp
Great music. Great food! Impeccable service. I mean my waiter was on point! I ordered the beef cheek hash= fire, cinnamon roll= fire, sweet potato biscuit= good but I expected it to be a little sweeter. Drinks were on point.
