Petty Cash has been around for a few years now and has become one of Beverly Grove’s most dependable spots for a crowd-pleasing, as-light-as-you-need-it-to-be dinner. "If the big mural of a heroic abuela surrounding the front door didn’t clue you in, this is a taqueria done as chef concept. The high tables, the high ceilings, the big bar: you’re getting a modern dining experience, with cocktails alongside your tacos. If you can’t decide between eating Mexican food and modern American, you’ve come to the right place. There are crispy Brussels sprouts, but they’re spiked with cauliflower crema; there are oysters on the half shell, but the mignonette is made with Fresno chiles. The nachos?
