No total rewards privileges. Walked in as a party of 4 and were seated immediately on the very end of the restaurant. It was a busy, yet not super packed night, but service was slllllllllow. Our server was nice and efficient, but seem like they were short-staffed as he was manning the whole area himself. Things picked up after we got to order our food, which was beyond my expectations.
STAR OF THE NIGHT, no doubt the Crispy Honey Shrimp, not quite exact like the honey walnut shrimp I adore, but PF Chang's version was very, very enjoyable. Fried, crispy and full of flavor from the glaze/sauce.
Second favorite was their popular item, Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The portion is bigger than it looks and it taste great. I felt healthy eating this dish, not oily and I liked the cabbage crunch. I would love to try their vegetarian option.
Third favorite, Short Rib Fried Rice. To be honest, it's a tie to second place. I tasted the kimchi, short rib, mushroom, edamame, egg and wasabi mayo all in one bite. It was fire! The wasabi mayo is a very slight hint, and does not linger. I would definitely order this again as well.
Fourth was the Wicked Tuna Roll! This was made to order and it took a real long time to come out, so the waiter comped the dish for us. I tried one piece because I was getting full, but it tasted just ok for the wait. I think my perception would change if it I had tried it first before the other dishes.
Dead last was the Singaporean Noodles. Two words - too salty! They can lighten this dish a bit, overwhelmed with the sauce and overpowered. As you can see in the picture, the noodles almost seems drenched.
Overall, for an expensive Chinese restaurant, I'd expect to pay more for less, but the portions were great and shareable. Some of these dishes tasted beyond my expectations. My first time dining at PF Chang's for over 10 years and it never left me an impression until now. Do come to this location if you are within PH and looking for dinner, but do not come hangry because it might be slow!
