"I'm reporting that Pflour Shop, a Pflugerville bakery, is opening a second Austin location at 7413 Burnet Road the weekend of June 18. It specializes in intricately decorated cookies and cakes and baked goods like brownies, blondies, and cinnamon rolls; the new location will feature twists on favorite menu items and lemonade to drink. I ordered a cake for my sweet sixteen birthday party. I requested a cake inspired by the movie Sleeping Beauty. When my father went to pick up the cake and bring it back home for the party, I noticed that it was not what my inspiration picture looked like at all. I knew it would be more on the smaller side because it was for serving 10, but it seemed completely different from what I asked for. The first photo added was the inspiration I sent them and confirmed on the phone. The second picture was what I received. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The cake looked like it was forgotten about and decorated at the last minute, and half of the cake wasn't even iced. It was sloppy, and even the straw that held it together was poking out through the top. And to add to that, when my father picked up the cake, the box was smaller than the cake, meaning the lid wasn't able to close and was taped open. It's not even like the cake was huge; it's just that the box was too small for this kind of cake, and I highly doubt that's the largest box the bakery has for a cake. I was so sad that the cake I had been dreaming about my whole life was not what I ordered or wanted. If the cake wasnt $75, I wouldn't leave a review, but what I received compared to the price I paid is completely unacceptable. I had such high expectations, considering their wonderfully decorated cakes on social media. But I was disappointed in how mine turned out.

Please never stop baking the m&m cookie sandwich. It is so good and my fav type of cookie. I would sometimes get a m&m double doozie from great American cookie company but since they seem to be gone out of Austin I didn’t know where to look for something similar. Glad I came here, it was so good, better than GACC one. And my husband really liked the pecan bar.

Every time I go into the shop, I’m always greeted with a smile and big hello. My family and I have loved these baked goods since April was selling out of her house. She makes the most amazing treats and I absolutely love that she has now incorporated gluten free treats in her menu as well! We will definitely be back for more goodies!

Best Buns in Texas… the world?! Cinnamon rolls are to die for! Iced cookies are the cutest most perfect for any occasion! And Aprils custom cakes! Her creativity is endless. You give her a few ideas and they just blossom. Go to bakery for literally everything! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

They did an amazing job on my mother’s birthday cake. Not only did the cake look awesome but it was also delicious. We got the strawberry cake and man it was amazing! Will definitely use them again in the future.

I am so excited that I stumbled upon Pflour today when I was walking through the shopping center. The exterior and interior decorations were adorable, but what really caught my eye was a sign on the door displaying that they were contestants on “Crime Scene Kitchen” which is a baking show on FOX that I love! I knew I had to grab a treat and find out more about them. I tried the red velvet cupcake and strawberry sugarplum cupcake. They were both delicious… The cake itself is so fluffy, moist, and flavorful! The decorative icing is not just pretty, but a really tasty cream cheese mixture too! There were so many highlights during my visit to Pflour, but the best one was meeting Jennifer who was working behind the counter! She was extremely welcoming, patient throughout our conversation, willing to answer any questions, and most of all very kind and friendly! I would definitely recommend visiting Pflour because of their fantastic aesthetic and yummy baked goods, but more importantly because of their AMAZING customer service! I will definitely go back next time I’m in the area:)

Google
I love popping in for a quick little sweet treat for my employees or myself. The staff is always kind, courteous, and don’t seem to mind when I start yapping about how cute the designs look or the flavor pairings. The buttercream is ALWAYS perfect, and anything strawberry flavored has been on point.

Hands down the BEST place to get the BEST sweet treats!! I have hand baby shower cookies, 1st birthday cookies, birthday cakes and not to mention just random stops to satisfy my sweet tooth. April does a phenomenal job!

Yelp
What a lovely place! The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They have a cute "insta-worthy" wall for folks to sit and dine in if they wanted on their treats or take them to go. They have every sweet treat you can imagine... all kinds of cookies, cupcakes, etc. I have been in twice and gotten an array of things each time and found it all to be tasty. It's reasonably priced AND if you're just looking for a little treat for yourself or your family, they have a little sale area of day old or the day after a holiday section. Who doesn't love a yummy bargain!

Yelp
Pflour Bakery definitely brings the charm! It's an adorable spot with plenty of Instagram-worthy spots & decor, and the staff? Sweet as homemade buttercream frosting. They were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit feel extra special. Now, onto the treats. I picked up some holiday-themed cookies with icing, and I have to say--they were super cute. Like, "take a dozen photos before you eat them" cute. Sadly, the taste didn't match the aesthetic. Nobody in my group was a fan of the cookies or the icing. I also tried the "life-changing chocolate chip cookie." Spoiler alert: it did not, in fact, change my life. So, here's the scoop: if you're looking for a charming spot to snap some photos or grab beautifully decorated cookies to show off, Pflour Bakery is a win. But if you're searching for mind-blowing flavors, this one Pfalls short.

Yelp
If you have an insatiable sweet tooth or want Instagrammable backdrops, Pflour is your place. For me, I find the price point and quality don't match. The frosted items were overwhelmingly sugary. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, but had a hint of uncooked flour that didn't appeal. My friend liked his, so maybe I had one from a bummer batch. I've heard the bronuts are delicious, but they were sold out both times I've visited. Perhaps they would tip the scales to a four star review?

Yelp
This bakery is adorable. The cupcake was not exciting though. I admit I don't love buttercream frostings and that is what they do. I am cream cheese frosting all day. The cupcake was moist and it was fine but it wasn't memorable and I wouldn't stop by again.

Yelp
We bought cookies, brownie donut and cupcakes. It would have tasted better if cookie or brownie was little warm because it was hard. Service was good. The environment is cool as well to take pics.

Yelp
Before Keto, I would come here and try their speciality cupcakes. They are so sweet so I recommend sharing with someone. Their flavors are unique and I'm always looking forward to their weekly flavors. I recently started keto and having those sweet cravings are super real. I knew that pflour shop made keto cupcakes but I didn't know they were THIS good. Their chocolate cupcake is packed with flavor and tastes like the real thing! I stopped by this morning to grab more cupcakes and they had their Mothers Day cookies out! They were super cute. They post a lot of updates on their Instagram so I recommend following them. They respond to comments and dms!

Yelp
Found this shop by accident as I stopped at the convenience store next door. I bought a few cookies.....chocolate chip and a harry pottery. Both where delicious. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Went here twice already, and I like their snickerdoodle and sugar cookies the most. I also tried their banana pudding cupcake. It's a bit too sweet for my preference. I also had their Oreo bronut. It tasted more like a chocolate brownie than anything. There is limited free parking.

Yelp
First of all, the shop is EPIC. So so so cute! So many cute selfie spots and overall just beautiful. The cupcake, brownie, cookie (yes they have some for dogs!), cinnamon bun, and other pastry options are just remarkable. Everyone will find something they want (even if it's the lemonade that they also sell). I ordered four cupcakes: vanilla, almond toffee, strawberry lemonade (which has a blonde on top!), and lemon blueberry. Vanilla could have been a bit more vanilla, but everything else rocked. Yes; you should go! Yes you should go now!

Yelp

Yelp
Let's talk pies and sugar cookies. Pflour shops pies are some of the best in Austin. The crust is perfect and whichever filling you get is going to be amazing! We've tried their pumpkin, apple, and lemon pies, and they were delicious. Worth the calories. We've ordered custom cookies from here and the people who received them thought they were so cute, but more importantly they tasted incredible. The icing isn't too sweet & the interior of the cookie is deliciously soft & chewy.

Yelp
A little on the sweet side (but sometimes that's what life's about) definitely a fun place to stop in though! So far I've only had the sugar cookies and a cupcake but I'm excited to try one of their regular cookies next, those look so good! Staff is friendly and courteous and space is well designed and super instaworthy.

Yelp
Woah, this bakery is by far the best around when it comes to cookies and cupcakes. Sure, their special cupcakes can get a bit intense, but the flavors and the consistency is bar none in this area of town. We've been searching for our go-to sweet treat spot in north Austin. We've tried Quacks time and again, tried Paper Route, Patisserie, Bakery 85, cookies from all over, and nothing comes close to Pflour. Their cookies are the perfect combo of firm and chewy, and their cupcakes are perfectly moist and flavored with the appropriate amount of tasty buttercream icing (unless you get a special one, those can get carried away). It's a little pricey, but honestly worth it for a special treat now and then. We're excited to try their full cakes when we have a reason to splurge. Thanks for the tasty treats, y'all!

Yelp
I don't know where to start the cookies, the cupcakes, pies everything is amazing I love it. Staff are so nice and kind when I visit they so amazing. The place it's stuff it's so cute, Austin vibes for sure I'm obsessed. I'm a big foody and this is definitely a place I recommend.

Yelp
First time in today. Cute store front, simple, clean and pretty baked goods catch your eye. The cupcakes and decorated cookies bring a smile quickly but then I saw the pecan bar and a snickerdoodle blondie. The pecan bar is 4"×4" buttery, nutty goodness. Wow my first bite I had to stop and write this. Not too sweet or gooey absolutely delicious. Bought a pack of Mexican wedding cookies for the guys in the shop and they all approved! Definitely made a repeat customer!!!

Yelp
Place is really cute ! The best thing was the oatmeal cookie , prices are kind of expensive . The cupcakes really weren't nothing extravagant. They tasted like Walmart cupcakes .

Yelp
This place sucks. I put in an order for a birthday request. They accepted it, but took a week to get back to us on some finishing details, when the girl at the front counter told us they'd get back to us in a day or two, so we decided to follow up ourselves. And these people never picked up. We ended up smoothing that out eventually. But still, incredibly disappointing and unprofessional, I could see these people were going to be flaky. And today cancelled last minute due to the weather condition. Which isn't a problem, but you would think they would you know CALL their clients to give them a heads up. Now we're out of a birthday cake, thanks to the incompetence of these people. Please avoid at all costs.

Monica M.

Yelp
Ok, been here a few times now and while their products are cute and reasonably tasty, they are way too expensive. I appreciate the effort it takes to make all the custom decorated sugar cookies but I just paid $12 for a package of 4 very small sugar cookies. Today, I bought a cupcake and some Mexican wedding cookies and my bill was over $17. Um, no. Also, they have the automatic option of adding the 15-20% tip after they retrieve your items from the display case. Will pass this place in the future. Just excessively expensive.

Yelp
Came in on a weekday, looking for a croissant, but discover they're only available on weekends. No prob, there's tons of other options. I ordered two peanut butter chocolate "bronuts" (brownie doughnut) and a cinnamon roll. Slight sticker shock when I was charged $15, but you pay for quality, in overpriced Austin. The bronuts were great, but very sweet. The cinnamon roll roll was completely raw, under seasoned with cinnamon. The staff person was extremely friendly and helpful, cool space, but Upper Crust is better for cheaper, and Epicerie is way better for the same price. Still, give it a try, I may have just been unlucky.

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Very cute and thought I'd try. Girl at counter was short and rude. I got cupcakes and cookies and 3 of 6 cookies were stale and dry, That was a waste of money as they aren't cheap. I won't be going back for recommending.

Trisha T.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to stop by today. Cookies are delish! Perfect mix of chewy and crispy, and they're huge. Can't wait to try the cupcakes next time

Yelp
Cute place, delicious sweets and super nice staff. My dad is obsessed with their cookie sandwiches. We go every Saturday.

Michele G.

Yelp
First the good things... the shop decor was adorable. It is a great place to take pictures. We went for my daughter's birthday and I got adorable snap shots of her. The place was clean and friendly. I ordered a bag of the Mexican wedding cookies and they were very delicious! Now for the negatives... the cupcakes were underwhelming at best. The cake part was dry and over baked, possibly old and stale. The icing was overly sweet, too much, and too stiff. My 4 year old didn't even eat her 5 dollar chocolate cupcake. I had a banana Oreo cupcake but all I could taste was overly sweet icing and bland dry cake. The worst thing was my daughter and I picked out a cupcake each and one for my husband and the wedding cookies and when we went to pay, the total came out to 38 dollars and after tip I paid more than 40 dollars. I didn't know how much the cakes were and wasn't really paying close attention until I got to the car and saw that the girl had put 5 cupcakes in our box plus the wedding cookies. I have no idea how she misheard us order because I never mentioned the kind of cakes she added to the order. It was strange. I didn't bring them back, we just left. But I probably won't go back. Threw the extra cakes in the trash. Not worth the calories.
