The restaurant's ambiance shows promise, with an interesting and authentic look complemented by pleasant background music. Unfortunately, this initial positive impression was quickly overshadowed by disappointing service and mediocre food. The service was frustratingly slow, with the waitstaff appearing disinterested and unmotivated. This lack of attentiveness significantly detracted from the dining experience. As for the food, the sushi was average at best, failing to justify its high price point. The portions were noticeably small, leaving much to be desired. Including water and a service charge, the total came to nearly £25, which felt overpriced for the quality and quantity received. While the restaurant's atmosphere has potential, the combination of poor service, unremarkable food, and inflated prices makes it difficult to recommend. There's significant room for improvement in both the kitchen and front-of-house operations.

You can never go wrong with Pham, the whole experience is amazing, from the staff, to the food. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and has a welcoming feel to it. Whatever you order on the menu, you will never be disappointed. The food is fabulous and freshly cooked. Some of my favourite dishes are the deep fried squid tentacles and the chicken gyoza’s, you can see them in the pictures I have provided. It is a must go to place to eat if you live in London or not. 5 star from me!

Pham sushi is not so much of a hidden gem but has always been fantastic and reasonably priced, considering its sushi. I miss the old site at Whitecross St, that had no atmosphere but that's what made it kitsch. Standards haven't dropped and it's always a pleasure to go.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here! Even though the place has multiple tables, I found it reasonably quiet. The food was delicious, fresh fish in sushi and sashimi, the variety of options is good (the menu is not overwhelmingly long). I appreciated chef’s specials on the menu. Moreover, the prices are reasonable, overall a solid 5, would definitely come again.

Group of three for a sushi lunch at 130pm. The staff hurried us to order. Maitre D was polite and respectful but while we were enjoying our meal the other staff were making it obvious they wanted us out asap. When we tried to order an extra drink, the barman gave some bad attitude, even shoving a chair in disgust - I think the worst I've ever witnessed in any restaurant. By the time we left, the staff were eating at the tables. So although the food is delicious and expensive - the service was hostile, and the mandatory service charge was not deserved. On the positive, they have a social gluten free menu and gluten free soy sauce.

Friendly staff, cosy place and reasonable pricing. I tried Salmon set, Rainbow roll and Dumplings. Salmon is very good, while dumplings were lukewarm and rainbow is average. One of the few Japanese places open on weekends.

Really nice place, the staff are super sweet and the food is delicious. We were a group of 6 so ordered quite a few things. The spicy salmon with truffles sushi was so good, they also know how to present the dishes to wow you. Especially the mochi, which I don't usually like, but this was really, really good! Definite visit!

The soft shell tempura and chicken Karaage were absolutely fantastic. The toro crunchy roll and Pham special roll were quite average and rather expensive. Total bill came up to £52 and I only had green tea to drink. Service is a bit patchy - some try to be too casual and that can come across as rude. I can’t recommend the sushi rolls, the service and the price. Would say look elsewhere really
