We were from out of town and tried a few breweries in this are and this by far was the best! The enjoyed chatting with owner/veteran who was very knowledgeable about his beers. They offer free popcorn, too. The place has a cool and relaxed vibe and we will be back next time we're near the area.

Amazing and welcoming atmosphere! The owner is very down to earth and hospitable. Fun games such as billiards, board games, big buck hunter, etc. They have a nice selection of brews and sparkling wines and Puerto Rican foods!

Man I don’t know where to start, from the owner to the environment to some of the most creatively delicious crafts this planet has to offer its all around amazing experience. If I could give 10/10 stars I would. Come try it out, hottest spot in Killeen. I drive all the way from ATX just to see Nick and get Spur Ride.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Finally, a great place to go and hang out with your family maybe have a cold beer maybe not maybe treat yourself to a really nice glass of wine or maybe not or just come in and enjoy the atmosphere. This place is amazing. The owner Nick is one of the most gracious people I think I’ve ever met. Being a former military man, the whole atmosphere reminds you of patriotism and all that is implied. His brewmaster Mark is so knowledgeable about the products that they make they can tell you where they get every last ingredient the quality of it, etc.. They also offer a brewing supply as well if you might be interested in creating your own micro brew. I’ve met so many interesting people here from so many different parts of the world. You can regular to come here and see foreign soldiers that are here training a great military post out for a beer and a good time. We’ve been eating something like this in Killeen, Texas for so long. Support these guys let’s make sure this place stays open. Thanks, Nik and Mark for the great time on every visit.

Amazing owner and atmosphere, veteran friendly with quality tasting brews. Great place to have a beer indoor or outdoor, also host to car meets in the area.

Great place, great people, great beer and they have a variety of events during the week like poker night and live music and comedians!! The food truck in the parking lot has delicious food!! An all around fantastic experience!

Great atmosphere and beer, I had the Spur Ride Stout. This is my new regular spot. The food truck they work with outside was good too, with great prices. This establishment is also kid friendly if you don't want to find a babysitter, with board games to keep them busy. Grab a growler on your way out too. 5 stars.

The Beer was unique and delicious, started with the “flight” to get a taste for all of them. Atmosphere is absolutely inviting with Nick taking time to explain the process for his beers and his passion for the Veteran community.

Nothing fancy here, just friendly atmosphere and good cold beer. They had a military event going on, but the manager(?) saw us walking up and invited us in and found a spot at the bar for us. The brewmaster took the time to tell us about the beer making process and made recommendations. I tried the Killeen Me Softly and it was very good. They had a food truck, but didn't eat on this visit.

Good beers! Lots of activities from golden tee, pool, board games, darts, etc. Family friendly environment, give this place a shot on your next outing.

Great service good vibes on Mother's Day Sunday. So many games to choose from. We had so much fun playing movie trivia.

We found this place as we were driving to San Antonio. My wife and I wanted to eat someplace where we haven't been before. This is a very small and quaint restaurant with a very large selection of drinks as well as food. I ordered the calzone and thought it was going to be a small dish. That was my mistake. One order of calzone was enough for my wife and I. We also ordered five pretzel sticks, and they were quite large as well. I'm not sure if I have pictures, but the food, service, and ambience were great. You can tell this is a local hang out. It's one that's visited quite frequently by people who live in the area and I'm sure by others who travel nearby.

Great stout, super smooth and chocolate. Ram Jet solid bock, beat Shiner hands down. DO NOT SKIP THE IPA, Old Swabbie is subtle and flavorful.

What a great place to go and have a nice cold beer! They have many different kinds of beers to try and their names are creative. The brewery is owned by veterans and the decor is based on Fort Hood units. They also have deals and attend food festivals. My wife and I will definitely be back in the future.

It's great to finally have a micro brewery in Killeen. They've worked out all the kinks from their initial opening last year. Super friendly service and great hand crafted beers. They also offer wine and other beverages. They have guest food trucks, Gringos Locos Tacos was the guest this evening...which is the best in the area. They frequently do fundraisers to support local animal shelters and adoption, trivia nights, etc. there's always something going on. All in all a great asset to our community. Veteran owned and operated. We were sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather. I will post more photos of the interior and beer list.

Amazing selection of brews, with a 20 tap system. Something to cover just about all styles for an afternoon pint. Names of the brews are spot on for vets, may be a bit opaque for civvies, but it's a friendly space with plenty of room. Mama Lama food truck today, with tasty food, made for a great late lunch. Recommended for beer nerds.

Was out at Rabbit fest and met Curves a bartender with the Phantom warrior brewing company at their booth. She was super cool and had a great personality. She convinced my girlfriend and I to go to their location in Killeen. We did and it was awesome. Not only was there a good selection of craft beer but also video games a couple dart boards shuffle board , pool table and a stage. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. Above all the place was CLEAN. If you have been to any bars or beer joints in Killeen then you know how hard it is to find a place that's clean. Definitely give this them a try!

Spent several hours here with about 15 family members. Great beer, great service (thank you, Curves), great atmosphere! We will be back.

Coming from San Diego I was surprised to find Iron Gauntlet in a sea of tasteless wasteland. I mean cmon, this part of Texas is not know for cuisine! But I was pleasantly surprised, I mean, this beer snob was pleasantly surprised to find someone doing some classic European styles with very good taste. I came in seeking my 'go to' West Coast IPA taste profile and was constantly impressed with each taster of these classics. Kudos to management and head brewer... now... keep the iterations going ... take it to the next level! Oh, and please continue down the west coast IPA route, despite the haze craze!

It was DEAD. This was recommended by a coworker and it was empty. Maybe Saturdays just aren't it. The guy behind the bar didn't really seem to know what was going on. Half the beers were "out" and the beer we did order was filled half way with half the glass topped off with foam. Disappointing. The location seems a bit off. Never would have known about this place if someone hadn't mentioned it.

Fantastic service & such smooth, flavorful beer options - I think I tried like six or seven of them & all were fantastic for their style. Def will be back again!

We have so much fun every time we go. From their game nights to the doggy adoption and jerky days it's always a blast! The owners are extremely friendly and treat you like family when you come in. This place is GOLD. We went on a Sunday, expecting good beer and a food truck. Sadly, the food truck canceled but the owners supplied free BBQ to everyone. They go the extra mile for their customers! Great atmosphere, tons of party games indoor and out. Perfect place to hang with friends! Wide selection of beers on tap! All great! Above and beyond staff.
