Phase Three Brewing Company - Taproom + Kitchen

Last night was the first time we dined in this place. Upon arriving, the place exult a feel of bohemian vibe. The decoration is unique and eclectic down to the tableware and glassware. The staff is energetic, efficiently, and friendly. We tried their classic and OG burgers., Tofu Katsu, mac & cheese (on special), and their beers - Pixel IPA and West Coast ale. The food was good and the bill not exorbitant. Right now they offer 20% off on a case of mixed beer. Rating: 4.5 stars

Great beer. Good service. Coconut Press is the best. Burger was decent, but not a lot of flavor. They were out of a couple of items which was unfortunate. If the burger was better I would have given 5 stars.

This place is phenomenal. I was here for opening weekend and I’ve always been impressed with how they have continued to rotate and update their menu. The food is immaculate and the beer is amazing. They have good service (Grace is awesome) and I always leave with a giant smile on my face. One of my favorite places to eat/drink

This place caught my eye with the Filipino-influenced menu items (I’m Filipino) Drinks are not pictured but I had the Nectar: Mango sour which was very good if you’re a sweets person like me Food overall was not bad. We started with wings which had a banana ketchup / bbq sauce (a nice Filipino twist I had never seen before). I ordered the Smoky Ghost burger. As a burger, I loved it. But I did think it was going to be spicier than it actually was. Habaneros had heat though so order those on the side if you’re not sure of your spice tolerance. Unfortunately the fries just weren’t that great which I was a little bummed about. If they just had a little more seasoning, crisp, and served fresh - I think that would help a lot! That said, Tony helped us all night long & was a delight. Amazing & quick service.

A wonderful place to stop in if you’re near O’Hare. Lucy was amazing. So friendly and helpful! The smash burgers were great and the lager and IPAs top notch. Highly recommend.

Wow - what a find. Incredible brewery and restaurant on the way to ORD as recommended by a friend in the area. This place has it all - great atmosphere, incredible beer and delicious eats. Starting with the decor and atmosphere…. Sparse industrial feel with a great mix of seating options. Very clean overall. Extremely friendly staff. Jack behind the bar knows his sheet when it comes to the beers and the food as well. Very helpful in choosing what to drink in which order, and I wanted to try it all. Speaking of - Huge selection of beers on tap and as bottle pours for some of the amazing stout options. Pale ales, IPAs, IIPAs, IIIPAs, Stouts, Barrel Aged Stouts… the list goes on and they were all top shelf. Menu was also great and I struggled to decide on an app and a main. Ended up with the Lumpia and the Burger. Lumpia were perfectly crispy but lacked in seasoning on the pork stuffing IMHO. Chilli sauce helped add some zing, but could have used some more herbs or seasoning in the filling. Lemongrass or ginger or garlic? The Smoky Ghost burger was epic. Super, super spicy with fresh habaneros under the burger and fun candied bacon to help cut down on the spice. This is not for the faint hearted - but worth the sweat. I went with the chips instead of the fries which was a great choice. Super crispy, rather thick cut for chips and well seasoned. I wanted a salad but was surprised there was an up charge for a salad (or cheese curds), so I went chips. Long story short - Highly recommended, thank me after you visit!

Delicious beer, delicious food, good service. I would highly recommend getting a beer flight, super fun to try different beers. The food was delicious. There are a few vegetarian options, all the food we had was tasty. Would come here again.

Great food and beer. I’ve only visited twice so far but have enjoyed both visits. The food selection is great and offers options - which I love. The beer is also so good! I have two small complaints (so small it didn’t warrant docking a star, but noteworthy nonetheless). 1) I wish there was merch sold with the hummingbird logo. None of the glassware on display for sale has the logo which is disappointing. 2) I would like to see the stouts and barleywines also for sale and more readily available for purchase. Both times I’ve visited I’ve not been able to take home my favorite drink. All in all, great place to visit and these complaints do not take away from the experience and service. Wholeheartedly would recommend!

My favorite brewery. All their double dry hopped hazy ipa's are delicious. They're all similar in taste but that's fine. There isn't much sediment at the bottom of the glass and you can enjoy 2-3 and not get a headache the next day. Food was solid. Cheese curds and chili were really good. I got the wings which were too big and had too much crispy breading on them imo, plus the Asian bbq sauce the bartender said had a "good kick" was very bland. But like I said, the beer is amazing! Highly recommend picking some up

Surprised I haven't reviewed Phase 3 yet. I've been here several times now. Last time I was here we stopped at 93 Octane prior. I enjoyed their Lulz Seltzer collection. The bushel of apples is good, too. We didn't have any food, just sat at the bar. The staff is friendly, and the food did look really good. Maybe we'll eat next time we're here.

My wife and I have come to this location several times. We love that they have a back patio with lots of shade; perfect for hot summer days. We always see lots of families with small children. There is parking in the rear and street parking out front. As far as service, I find that our servers always do a great job of returning about midway through our drinks and we don't have to wait long to order, even when they are on the busier side. The restaurant does a good job of rotating some entrees, so there is always something new to try. The latest trip we had the burger of the month (jalapeño, steak, and goat cheese burger) and the Baja fish tacos. I don't think we've had a bad dish or bad beer. Their beer is some of the best in the area if you are in to hazy IPAs or sours. I can't speak to the other styles at we typically stick to those styles. If you're ever in the area, you wont be disappointed..

My husband and I came on a date night, we sat outside and enjoyed the last of the nice weather. The host sat us and shortly after our server came around asking about drinks. I got the fruit beer and it was excellent flavor. My husband did 4 tastings. We got the garlicky cheese curds, Cobb salad and Original smashburger. The smash burgers were so tender they fell apart in your mouth. The cob salad was refreshing. I love trying foods that are unique and they did a very good job on every dish. Well done Phase Three. Would return!

Today, we weee driving around and stumbled across P3 Brewing company. Initially, the place looks trendy and pleasant. We entered and were immediately sat by the friendly hostess and given menus and water. After about 5 minutes our server came by. This is where the whole experience went south. She greeted us, and we asked her what her favorites were on the menu. She literally refused to give recommendations because she kept awkwardly hiding behind.... Everyone has their own tastes. We ask this almost every new restaurant we go to and get the server recommendations. After awhile, I decided on their original smashburger with no cheese and subbed salad for the fries. My wife got the Longanisa Chopped Cheese and fries. She also went with the P3 Japanese Rice Lager. My burger was salty and greasy, but feasted ok. They literally put a trace of their "spicy P3 sauce" on it, but it was basically a dry burger. The salad was outstanding and vinaigrette dressing was fantastic. Her Longanisa tasted good but the sauce on the sandwich was very watery and was literally glowing off the back end of the sandwich. Very weird. The Rice Lager didn't taste good at all. To me, it tasted like Old Style. I'm not exaggerating. When it came time to settle the check, we told the server that we signed up for the rewards and had small credit we wanted to apply. She told us oh, it will come off automatically when you pay your check. It made no sense. So I gave my credit card, and the bill got paid... no discount applied. I mentioned it to her but told her don't worry about it. We can use it next time. She argued with us and insisted she go figure out why it didn't apply. After telling her twice don't worry about it came more about her wanting to know than helping us. We just walked out and went home. I was only asked for a refill once, at the end of the meal, was almost out of drink half the lunch. The server just was not listening to the customer. It's not hard to figure out why discount wouldn't automatically apply to the bill when the website and the point of purchase are 2 separate formats. Overall the food was ok, 3.5 stars, the service... 1 star. Your money and time can be spent better elsewhere.

The food was so good here! We came in to try out a few beers and grab dinner, and I was very happy with the food. The mushroom risotto was super creamy and full of flavor- I would definitely order it again! The pretzel seemed a little stale so I wasn't very into that dish but it may have just been fluke from sitting out too long before being delivered. The staff is really friendly and the bartenders are helpful when picking out beers to try! The whole restaurant is set up really nicely with a front room and back bar area. Doesn't feel like a typical brewery!

Second time here. Both times quick and friendly service. Food is way better than you deserve for a brewery and the beer selection has a nice spread of styles. The pepper and egg sandwich should be sold in a cart in front of that place with people lined up like Maxwell st. It's that good. Top 5 in the west burbs.

Our party of 3 had a nice pub dinner and catchup session here.  I'll go with 4.49 stars with the only modest knock that the place is a bit on the pricey side.  It wasn't too busy at 5:30pm on a Tuesday night, and that was nice, but it did get more boisterous and crowded as Trivia Night started at about 7pm. I did personally like that their beer menu was heavy on the IPA selections and I saw 10 of them (!) on their online menu and ended up having 3 delicious IPA's during our outing.  Each went for $8.50 for a 16 oz serving. I personally tried their: - Snow Pants hazy IPA, 7.9% ABV - F-Stop IPA, 7.5% ABV - Trio of Stars hazy IPA, 7.7% ABV RJ was our friendly and knowledgeable server, and I actually went with his suggestions on all 3 IPA's and I really enjoyed every one of them.  Thank you RJ! For food, I had the following and as usual we split the appetizers: - Bavarian pretzels, $7 Happy Hour 1/2 price - Garlicky cheese curds, $7 Happy Hour 1/2 price - OG burger with fries, $18 One colleague also had an OG burger and another had the Smoky Ghost burger and he said it was quite spicy.  I enjoyed my greasy and delicious OG burger with my beers. The pre-tip bill per person was $47.44.  The price of a beer and burger outing keeps going up on us, but they are always fun and delicious and so be it.  This place is a great venue for such.  Their food menu has some Filipino influences, but we didn't go for any of those dishes.  Their beer quality is top notch and I wouldn't be surprised if I liked all of their beers.  My colleagues also really enjoyed their Proper Trollied English malt blend (3.9% ABV and $6.50 for 20 oz).  They also have convenient parking off to the side and to the rear of the restaurant.  Great pub, and thank you!

Seriously, one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. Super nice staff and lots of delicious beer has a really cool look on the inside as well.

The honey butter fries are excellent. That came with the tocino bhan mi, a large portion. The marinated sweet meat is very similar to the Vietnamese one with a slight Filipino twist recommended. The pork lumpia is standard fare meaning it's good. I'm Filipino it has my seal of approval. This is a brewery and they have a lot of those - we just didn't have one tonight.

3.6 stars. Great service. The food was just okay. Was excited to try this place out due to the prior yelp reviews about different Filipino food options but there were just okay and not too great as it wasn't that flavorful. I thought they would have had the halo halo, from the pictures but that was a limited time. The cheese curds were tasty. Lumpia, small but like any others. The banh mi my friend had not good it was underwhelming. The ambiance was bright and nice! The beer was good. Parking is either behind the building or street.

I do enjoy drinking beer from Phase Three. The hummingbird has always gotten me The stouts continue to pull me in. I did try food here but unfortunately took no pictures of it. But we did order the Crispy Wings with the sweet and spicy banana dipping sauce, pork lumpia, corn ribs and the Green Chili Smash Burger. All of it was tasty and I'd get that all over again. That smash burger smashed! For our drink libations we got the Geo Ale, P3 Pils, Interception Stout, Pecan Pie Interception Stout, and the Lulz Cinnamon Apple. All tasty, crushable and delicious. That pecan pie was sweet, with a thick viscosity that coated your tongue. It was a banger! The beer tenders are friendly and the atmosphere has a little hum to it. Definitely coming back and going to the other location.

Great Service. Food was on point and kid + vegetarian friendly. Vibes were good - games on, packed and fun spot overall. Highly recommend!

Just a quick update. We've now been to P3 Elmhurst several times since our first visit during their inaugural month. Even though we live in the city, it's always a dinner destination in the back of our minds, not so much for the beer (which remains good), but because of the unique food options that, oddly enough, don't exist under one roof in the city. The food options remain stellar, constantly changing with the seasons and always being improved. A great example is the outstanding Ahi Tuna Sandwich, which went from being a regular sandwich to something close to a lobster roll except with fresh, raw tuna. An absolute stunner, I would get this once a week if I didn't live an hour away. Also excellent were the shrimp spring rolls, a very nice portion of shrimp, rice, and assorted veggies, flavorful with great crunch in every bite. We split these, but honestly, they'd work as a main. The execution remains great, easily the best brewery food in the Chicago area, and truly food that would stand alone against "regular" restaurants. While I remained feeling that P3 was a 4.5 and not a 5, largely due to mediocre service and a lack of a vibe, I have to downgrade to a 4 after our most recent, and perhaps final, visit. My wife is a strict vegetarian and I am a pescatarian (who very infrequently will order a chicken parm or something when out). In the past, P3 has always had wonderful vegetarian options - it's one of the reasons we always consider it, even when it's quite a haul to get to. However, on this recent visit, we were informed that they were out of tofu, which severely limited our options (out went the vegan bahn mi and potentially subbing tofu for a protein). We were going to split the couscous salad (subbing tofu for prosciutto), so it was back to the drawing board. Well, ok, maybe we'll split the salad w/o the prosciutto and get the Fiesta Crunch Burger with a veggie patty. Done. Except...three minutes later, our server returns to let us know they don't do meatless patties anymore. Which...what?! So my wife gets the couscous salad, which was very good (I went with the aforementioned Ahi Tuna which was tremendous). But, without the prosciutto on the salad, and with no substitute option, why am I still paying $18? Especially when no effort was made to accommodate us. I've worked in the industry in the past - what a perfect time to offer a side of fries or a free beer on the house. Nope. Look, we really enjoyed our food as we always have. But, that's really, really rough when you have no protein option available for a vegetarian. And hey, kitchens run out of stuff, but you chose to not stock veggie patties. Maybe they weren't selling, maybe they changed vendors, I don't know. But, it just kind of sucked to be honest, especially when P3 had become a place to rely on for such options. Despite loving my meal, and having supported this brewery and restaurant from the very, very beginning, with these changes and lack of "making up" for being out of so many of their vegetarian options, I'm really not sure it P3 Elmhurst remains even a back-of-mind option for us in the future.

We were fortunate to get seated right away on a night when most restaurants were busy. The space was inviting, but it was freezing inside. I have not been drinking, so I tried their non-alcoholic Oktoberfest. It was fantastic, and I wanted to get a four-pack to go, but I was informed that its availability was a misprint. I liked that there was a play on Asian food on the menu. I tried the Tocino Banh Mi, and it was delicious. The regular fries were average. My wife and son both had the OG burger. Neither were too impressed with it. They also upgraded their fries to honey butter fries. They were good, but the sweet and sour chili sauce served with them did not complement them. Our service was good. I would be willing to try this place again, but we would skip the burger.

Was really hoping to try out some barleywines their website had but was bummed they were out of the few things I wanted. The space is really nice and gives off a "trendy" vibe. I think it'd be a good spot for lunch meetings or a date. The staff was really nice and happily answered our questions. The beer was fantastic. We tried both ends of the spectrum; some barreled stouts and a pilsner to end on. All were really well balanced and I couldn't really find anything wrong about them. The food was just "ok", though. The Ube Butter jumped out at me on the menu but it just tasted like normal whipped butter tinted purple. Needed more salt, I think. The pandesal itself was good but nothing special. Don't think I'd get it again without a more interesting butter or jam. The lumpia were pretty good but expensive for how small they are. Given all the other spots in the city to get all sorts of them I don't think I'd order it again, either. Overall if I'm looking for great beer with a snack to split with someone, this is a great spot. If looking for food with a beer I might head elsewhere. Tons of brewpubs in town; granted not as easily accessible by car.

This has been on our list to try since they opened this location and while we were in the area we stopped in for drinks and a late lunch. We walked in and was surprised how large it was. The bar is long and nicely designed and there are several tables inside , out and there is a private space in the back. Food: We had the garlicky cheese curds- the portion was good, but they had too much garlic for me, but my husband enjoyed them. They were lightly battered and came with a spicy sauce for dipping. I had the chopped salad and it was very good. All of the ingredients were fresh . The white balsamic vinaigrette was served on the side, and was light and tasty. The cucumbers were sliced in thin spear shapes . The crispy noodles sprinkled on top provided a bit of crunchiness. The presentation was great ! My husband had the classic smash burger with a side of fries . The burger was good, but not a standout. It was juicy/greasy. My husband created his own flight, and tried the bushels of apples, pressed marshmallow ($8.50 for 5 0z), cherry apple ale and clipping in. I had the lemonade selzer, which I really enjoyed refreshing, but not sour or tart. Service was excellent ! Everything was good, but food prices and some of the beers are a bit pricey .

Very popular with the locals ....small in size so it's loud...but full of character it's clean lines give it a modern feel. The food selection is definitely on the upscale side of brewery food

My husband loves breweries, I love good food, and this place is the perfect marriage of both. They have seating options for bigger families and couples. Our group of five was seated comfortably at a table with plenty of space to spread out. We started with the garlic cheese curds and lumpia. The cheese curds were good but the dipping sauce was a bit too tangy for my taste. The lumpia was legit and I held back from ordering a second round because I couldn't wait to try the rest of the menu. We ordered burgers, chicken sandwiches, and and apple pie lumpia for dessert. It was all delicious and we are definitely adding this place to the regular rotation.

If you're Elmhurst, do yourself a favor and visit Phase Three Brewing Company. There's parking available in the back. Whether you come here for the drinks or the food, you'll be treated to a delicious menu of options. I love a good brewery that serves up some good food to pair with their beer and cocktails. Phase Three serves up Filipino-inspired dishes that are sure to please. Yes, there are burgers here. Don't be afraid to try the Asian stuff. It's really good! The lechon kawali is a good place to start for pork belly fans, and they even have Korean fried chicken here. The pancit palabok has loads of noodles and flavor. I liked the lemongrass coconut cod. It was a large cut of fish and the coconut broth was simple but delicious. I haven't even gotten to the beers, which rotates seasonally so check out what you can because it may not be there tomorrow! If you really like something, Phase Three sells individual cans and even packs to go. Score! What a nice place to go out with family and friends. I loved the diversity of food and drinks here.

P3 is not only a local brewing company they also offer Filipino inspired food options. This establishment has indoor and outdoor seating and can sit about 80-100 people. It is a casual yet upscale spot. My fiance and I were here on a weekend and figured since we were going after the lunch rush it would be fairly empty, NOPE! It was packed and I loved to see it. Although P3 was very busy we were able to snag a table within minutes. Staff members were nice, friendly and the perfect amount of attentive. Our server gave us her personal recommendations which I really appreciated. Getting drinks was very fast, literally within minutes of ordering drinks we received them. Food took a bit of time which we expected since it was very busy. There is a beer here for everyone. My favorite was their pressed: maple. It was smooth and delicious. As a Filipina I had low expectations for the food since I'm bias to home cooked meals however I was blown away. I really enjoyed their take of lechon and sisig. They were crafted very well and full of flavor.

The burgers were awesome. We called the head so we could pick it up and eat at the house... Nothing against them, but we had a little ones waiting for us The location was nice. Parking was relatively easy on the street.

We went with with kids, my mom and brother. I wish I snapped a few more photos. We got a few appetizers: pretzels, lumpia and fries. All were delicious! My kids did wish there was cheese dip for the pretzels. My husband got the tocino banh mi and I got the steak frites. I could've used more chimmichuri sauce but kept forgetting to ask. My mom got the bistek Don and enjoyed her meal. I took a bite and enjoyed the seasoning of the bistek.

A friend recommended Phase Three when I was looking for places to take my dad out on his birthday. The food and drink are good but the service was lacking. I'm not a fan of their wait list system for dine in. Regardless, I put my name on their list in the hopes of getting seated promptly. When it came time for the app to let us know our table was ready, it appeared they were not ready for us upon arrival as we were held back an additional 20 minutes prior to seating. There were three empty tables in the first 10 minutes of waiting which was irritating. I don't understand why it would take this long to get settled in. We got a booth for 4 and ordered drinks. My husband ordered the Double Strawberry Chantilly draft and I got their Old Fashioned. Their food and drinks were fantastic and we enjoyed them a lot. The BBQ wing appetizer was the best dish we had. Big meaty wings full of flavor with good sauce. Almost all dishes were solid however my Beef Sisig would've been better had the meat not been overcooked. We would return in the summer. I'm just hoping they will do away with the wait list and improve on efficiency.

Recommended to try from my sister in law. We were already interested when she said that it was a brewery AND they also had unique Filipino food dishes. We walked right in after they opened one weekend and the place filled up quickly as we were deciding what to get. A good sign that they're popular...but that didn't take away from the great service we received too. Loved the ambiance and the good vibes we got as soon as we sat down. There were so many things I wanted to try! I was debating between the Pinoy Poke Bowl and the Ahi Tuna Sando. After re-reading the descriptions, the poached shrimp was something I didn't love in the poke bowl. That and knowing my experience with poke bowls, most places in Illinois don't get it right with the flavor (the fish is never marinated enough like they do in Hawaii) so I opted for the sando. We ended up getting: Pork Lumpia - These are pretty authentic. The filling was seasoned well and the outside perfectly cripsy. It was a light and delicious appetizer. Bistek Don - Hubby was devouring this and didn't even want to talk to me while eating. I had a tiny bite when he offered me a taste and it reminds me of his parent's cooking - very homey. I really liked the thinness of this type of steak they used too. The only complaints; we couldn't really taste the garlic fried rice as everything else was flavorful enough and the shoyu marinated egg was a bit too salty. Ahi Tuna Sando - This reminds me of a lobster roll, but instead of lobster the filling is ahi tuna. As much as I love lobster...I also love raw ahi tuna! Especially when it's fresh and there's none of that chewy tendon. They don't skimp on the fish either. This might be their best handheld sandwich on the menu. I would reorder this! Hubby also tried one of the beers and he liked how light it was for a morning drink. He wants to share this place with his buddies. It's definitely a good place to hang out at. I'm not sure if they have different menus every season as I do notice past reviews talk about things I did not see? If P3 does, that is such a great idea because it makes you want to come back regularly to see what's new. I can't wait to come back to try their other Asian inspired dishes on the menu!

Great service , food and beers were decent. The poke bowl lacked flavor, but nothing to complain about. Wide selection of beers and hard seltzer and non alcoholic beverages.

Stopped for a drink while in the area and we sat at the long bar at the windows because the main bar area was full and we didn't want to take up a table since we weren't planning on eating. Only two gluten free ciders to choose for me but plenty of interesting beers if you drink them. Service was almost annoyingly prompt and the server immediately came back after we asked her to give us a minute. When we were ready to pay and leave she was nowhere to be found. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking.

A brand new location for Phase 3 Brewing. The Taproom and Kitchen feels more like a restaurant than a brewery. Limited seating so it does fill up quickly. The kitchen serves up appetizers,hand helds,smash burgers,salads as well as big plates. Prices seemed a little high. Their beer is the real gem. Heavy in the IPAs, they do offer a nice selection of sours ,ales and stouts. They do not offer flights but they do offer a 5,10 or 16oz pours I tried their Bonfire Feels which is a Red Ale 6.8 abv which was a nice balance of malt and hops. Next up was A Bushel of Apples 6 abv Golden Ale which was described as a peanut caramel apple but in my opinion,a little too heavy on the peanut. My favorite was their Frog Stack 4.5 abv Sour Fruited Gose. Fruits were strawberry,rhubarb with a hint of marshmallow which makes it smooth and creamy. I even bought a 4 pack to bring home ($19.00) They do have an outdoor beer garden which would be fun with warm weather and make the inside less crowded. With a revolving beer list,I will be back!

Great location and vibe! Awesome selection of beers and did not disappoint BUT I was really hoping the Filipino food would be good since there isn't much out there in the suburbs. Definitely props for creativity and representation but flavor profiles were off and just not hitting it. We sampled all of the dishes too. Ube pandesal was good! Give me more! Lumpia standard and okay. Tocino melt not great not sure if it was just too much going on or too little but just didn't hit The pancit over salted and different in a not good way. The pork belly was good! Presentation of everything was a great vibe of the place and we recommended it to our friends to try and bought gift cards to give out and took home some awesome beers! We will come again to try other things too! Maybe the other items will hit different. For sure we will come for beers and the drink menu. Service was great!

Phase Three has opened a new taproom + kitchen in downtown Elmhurst! While I have visited their location in Lake Zurich many of times, this new space takes their business to another level. The inside is modern and beautifully designed. I loved the feature bar wall arches and simple tap design. The space has murals from local artists featured. The back has more of a private dining space that opens to a back patio via glass garage doors. The menu is not large but has a good variety of small bites and entrees to split or take on solo. We tried a few of the appetizers and were impressed by the flavors, portions, and value. Their drink menu had the standard offering of phase three beers and lulz seltzers. What was an unexpected add was the (2) featured drinks they did a collaboration with Standard Meadery. Phase Three knows how to produce great products solo but is also very successful in their collaboration partnerships. The Harbor Light was delicious! When we visited, it was the first Saturday being open and restaurant operations already felt to be organized. Our server was on top of checking in, turned food and drinks around quickly, was very knowledgeable of the menu/offerings. We had a great overall experience and already know we will be back to trip more food and new drinks!

Much like the first Phase Three taproom, this place has similar singature friendly service and, of course, great brews and seltzers. However, there's an added bonus of creative, tasty, and even Filipino inspired dishes in Elmhurst. Parking and wait times are likely the only challenges coming to this P3 location on a busy weekend night. The lumpia is crisp, hot, and filled with traditional flavor and served in an impressive presentation. And while the Arroz Caldo was not what I was used to growing-up with, it's a beautiful dish with much flavor and flair. If you are used to a thick, porridge-like soup with chicken pieces, this isn't what you think it is, so use your more imaginative taste buds and enjoy a lighter version. The staff here is great. Very attentive, courteous, and fun. We will be back to try many more food and drink items.

Came here during their soft opening at the end of August. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, mix of American classics and Filipino inspired items. A tad on the expensive side for the portions. Their beer is great and worth a trip alone even without food. The restaurant is beautifully done and has a wonderful ambiance plus the patio is a nice touch for the summer months. Parking is available on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. Happy to have Phase Three closer to the city in Elmhurst! We'll definitely be back!

Love this area of the burbs of Chicago and the location has a small, quaint feel. Reminds me of the square area of Homewood and I love that. Shawn did an amazing job with this place! Food is delicious and the beer is great, as to be expected. Had a great server and it's a very fun and upbeat vibe. Definitely would come back!

Perfect place to grab a bite on a summer day! We sat on the patio and it was the perfect mix of sunshine and shade ! They had their beer selection but I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of cocktails too! Very refreshing. My husband and I both got the smash burgers and they were fresh and delish . The fries were crispy and salted perfectly . The waitress was SO nice and fast ! Would recommend !

Phase Three is a fun place to hangout. Plenty of beer choices that were all good. They have a nice patio out back, additional outside seating near street and a large nice inside section and bar. Food was great. Burger of the month was very unique with plaintains in place of bun. The Ghost burger was delicious but VERY spicy which I appreciate as it says it will be so appreciate that it actually delivers on that.

Love the season food menu changes, but also how great it is for our kid to enjoy as well. The beers are excellent, especially the double nectar... delicious! We love the beers, the food, and the service, our favorite local brewery by far!

Went to Phase Three with my husband and 1 year old. The beers were great. A lot of sours and fruity beers (which I love). I got the Smoky Ghost burger and it had the perfect amount of spice. We also really enjoyed that the kids menu had a charcuterie type tray for the littles. It was perfect for my son. We will definitely be back!

Amazing beer! Great food! Attentive servers! I have always enjoyed the beers and food truck foods at the Lake Zurich location, so I was really excited to try this location! Wow! I was blown away by the quality of the food, drinks, and service! I got their Hawaiian burger on their specials menu. It was really tasty! Also, I loved how they decorated their restaurant! The atmosphere was relax, casual, and trendy. I love the mural on the side of the building. I will be back to check out their outdoor patio!

Great brewpub that just opened earlier this year. Normally you'd have to go all the way up to Lake Zurich to visit Phase Three, but now thankfully they've opened up one way closer to the city. And a great location at that. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a big parking lot, and a ton of beers on tap and 2go. Each of the 3 times I've gone, there's been plenty of new stuff on tap to try. For food, I've only had the cheese curds, which were very good, but everything I've seen looks good. I know it's Korean style. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I try to stop here every time I find myself in the Western burbs and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Not only has some of the best beer came closer to the city all the way from Lake Zurich, but they also have fantastic food to pair along with it! It an eclectic menu that skews toward a Filipino vibe with lumpia, longanisa, and sisig on the menu. You wouldn't think it, but the chicken Caesar salad is top notch. The beer at Phase Three is some of the best you'll find and paired with the friendliest service around, you can't go wrong!

First time in and can honestly say I'm going back with friends next time. The OG burger was !!! Have always been drawn to the beers in store but on tap brought it to the next level. Service was quick and bartender was very informative. Couldn't have felt more laid back welcomed.

No drinks to go for a to go order that don't have alcohol? Not even bottled water?! Ordered two burgers to go and all bun.

Cute spot. However, it was very loud inside. The customer next to us was either overserved or just super loud and annoying. Staff seemed relieved when he left. Bartenders were nice. I enjoyed that could get 5 Oz pours of my beer. I enjoyed one very much. I would return to try more of their stuff as they are very ipa heavy, and that's my fave. However, if not your style, you may not enjoy as much.

My wife has a personal goal of going to every new restaurant that opens in Elmhurst. It took a little while but we finally made it to Phase Three. We both had burgers. I had the Umami and asked the waiter if I could get it with extra blue cheese - no problem. After the order was delivered, the cook/chef came by and asked if I had enough blue cheese and whether I would like any more. I was immediately impressed. There was more than enough blue cheese on the burger and it was one of the best I've had in town so far. I'm pretty sure we'll be back, in part because they have some things on the menu that we've never seen before, so would definitely want to try some of them.

For food, they have one of the best dishes I've had all year. Perfectly balanced and seasoned-- you can't help but go back for more and more bites of it. It will be hard for me to order anything else when I come back! The dish? Beef sisig. Beer is phenomenal as expected, and I also tried a seltzer cocktail with coconut that was actually delicious. Service was wonderful too. The hostess stand needs work, but I'm sure it will get better with time. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

The food was great! The burgers are tasty and our server, Madi (first four letters), pointed us in the direction of the lumpia, apparently a staple for good reason, and the pretzels for appetizers. Then, while we were torn over our entree decisions, she walked us through her favorites in each category, which made deciding so much easier and it felt like the staff really knew the menu. One of our group started at the bar before joining a table and was helped by a girl with red hair who was very knowledgeable on the beers and our friend said she was very welcoming! They have a to go cooler full of their beer. Some of their offerings go very quickly so our server suggested to follow Phase Three on socials to catch the word about the latest "drops" as far as their beer goes. Will definitely be back.

Have been here four times now. Although I haven't tried their food, the menu is impressive. Asian-inspired. Brews are really quite good. I'm a beer snob but am impressed by their offerings. Located right off the Illinois Prairie Path, it's perfect for cyclists (Elmhurst location only).
