Google
I was very impressed by my first visit to Phase Three. Didn’t have a bad sip! The recipes are on point and the staff were friendly, down to earth, and provided good guidance on beer and food selections. It was a low key Sunday, but there were plenty of patrons coming in for a glass or taking cans to go—there were plenty of options to choose from. I left with my favorite, Swells. Even though it was a hot day, we appreciated being Able to sit in the outdoor space. Recommended.

Google
This squirrel has been looking for a new place to visit and Phase Three Brewing knocked it out of the park. Just wow 😮. Walked in and Kat was great and friendly. I told her it was my first time I. Kat had great recommendation. She picked a seasonal beer, Day Drift: Passion Fruit + Grapefruit 8% ABV and only $8 for a 16oz draft. Then I went in the back and loved chilling out to the live music by Michael Rawls. Check the place out, love the beer, be friendly and chill. Keep the issues in the car but bring share in the community vibe.

Google
Stopped by after a quick jaunt down from Wisconsin. Fast service, great staff, and amazing beer! I tried both flavors of the Day Drift fruited sour; pineapple+tangerine was my favorite! Swells IPA is fantastic and the German Pils as well. Bryn is amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable about all kinds of beer. Ask him about his favorite at the moment and he will not disappoint with his choice! Thank you Bryn!!

Google
One of the best in the Craft Beer industry, as evidenced by their hopped-to-spicy IPAs, BBA stouts, and collaborations. The top beers sell out in hours, or are distributed the lottery ( consider yourself lucky to get 'em). Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Mellow space that is sharp beyond what I expected, but also quiet and contemplative.

Google
Nice taproom, a lot of beers available. Attended the Soaked in Oak event, there were no details shared prior to the event. So it was 50$ for only 3 pours + a welcome pour and they never told us that. The first 2 I tried were past prime and ended up in the drain bucket. So if I wanted to try more, I had to purchase extra coupons for 11$/ea I think. Well..for 60$ there are plenty of decent beer festivals where it's unlimited pour

Google
Fantastic brewery filled with friendly people who are really enthusiastic about what they do. They don't just have great beer, they also offer seltzers and smoothies. They have fun events. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink, picking some up to go, or both!

Google
Visited with my wife on Saturday afternoon. Standout beers were Pixel Density IPA and Geo lager. All the beers were great - lots of variety you can't go wrong. This location is very family friendly. Friendly ambiance. Tables and bench seating in the warehouse, pinball machines and video game consoles in one area. Easy to grab beer to go. Small snacks on site, no kitchen. There was an awesome wood fire pizza food truck the day we went- perfect with the beer.

Google
Great beer, attentive staff. Austere taproom, but hey, it's in a warehouse! Soon moving out of state so we will miss this place. Keep up the good work.

Yelp
I stopped in about a year ago to try the licensed Affy Tapple flavored beer they made. (Tastes like a caramel apple. ) It was great. I was in the area this weekend to try a few in-house drafts. The Polish Pilsner is about 5% ABV. It was worthy of buying a 4 pack for home. They offer a lot of great brews and Zach was serving that day. Super helpful & friendly.

Yelp
My husband and I love coming here. There is a great space for kids to play Mario kart and pinball. They also have board games too. Super cute back area so hangout. They frequently have food trucks that park outside and dogs are allowed in the patio. We like the rotating beer. If you like IPAs they make some good ones. There are some sours, but not a lot of experimental beers with other flavors. They serve seltzers too for those who don't like beer and also have non alcoholic beer as well. Their merch is also super cute and isn't tacky looking :)
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place for a good beer.. no food unless there's a pop up food tent. Truck, etc. Must of the seating in side are metal seats and barrel tables. Nice place in the summer outside sitting. Mostly benches.. the sitting is down the side of the building . So, it's not the prettiest of views. But safe for families. Kids can run around

Yelp
Phase Three Lake Zurich never disappoints. This location is a taproom only but partners with certain local restaurants to get food delivered in. The taproom has a smaller front of house but very large back area with a second ordering counter, beautiful mural, pinball machines, and board games. They do a great job of updating their to-go menu online to show what is available to purchase. Phase Three is one of the few Chicagoland breweries that amazes me with how many new beers come out in a month's timespan. Their sister brand Lulz has 2-3 seltzers on tap a month. The R&R I got is a smoothie seltzer which I LOVE! I recommend coming out to Lake Zurich to try out the beers!

Yelp
Coming this way it was luck we found out about this brewery. It's hidden away from the main roads in a warehouse area so it wasn't easy to get to. Phase 3 is a good place to hang out in Lake Zurich. Even though it's not close to anything else. There's a chill relaxing feeling about it and the prices are okay. A place like this would be unknown without looking up breweries on Google Maps. It's not where one thinks a brewery would be for sure. This is amongst a bunch of boring looking warehouses. Actually come to think of it, this describes many of these smaller breweries. This one is located off Donata Court east of town. Had a few beers. It's about $5 a pint. That's a pretty good price. All were good. The best was the P3 Pils. Also has cans to go. There's not much in the way of food but they have popcorn. Good place to hang a bit. It's not easy to find, which is the bad thing about it. There's also events like live music, trivia, and whatever.

Yelp
I first discovered Phase 3 Brewing when we were all much closer to the covid lockdown. I was fortunate to try one of their beers then and then much later I got to try a different beer of theirs. The beer types were the same but both offered a different perspective in flavor which I appreciated. Both beers were IPA'S but in the end each one brought something different to the table. I remembered the beers distinctly despite some time between the two but it also helped making notes because I do love my beer adventuring. The Rule of Thirds was the first Phase 3 beer I had. It was a double New England IPA and I really enjoyed it for it's unique flavor. Flavor highlights that I picked up with this particular beer is a smooth, earthy flavor along with that IPA kick of hops. The maltiness contributed to much of the smoothness of this beer drinking experience. The next beer was also a New England IPA. This one was called TDH Triple Pixel Density. This pixelated design associated with this beer can art also fondly reminds me of the brewery's signature logo of a pixelated Hummingbird... which of course I had to buy a t shirt of from the brewery... This Triple New England IPA was also a good one. This aromatic beer has a creaminess to it along with citrus flavor in dry hopped style. Good experience with this brewery and despite having that pixelated Hummingbird t shirt I already have my eye on a different t shirt. This brewery seems to know how to keep drawing me back for more business!

Yelp
We visited over a week ago. The service and staff are great. They are very knowledgeable about the beers. I like that you get to taste the beers before you pick one. Frog Stack beer was really good and the Lulz R&R Smoothie was my favorite (not too sweet, just right). We came when there wasn't a food truck but they allow outside food to be delivered. The bar area was comfortable and the decor inside is so bright and clean. There's also a game room in the back. The outside of the building looks like offices but don't let that fool you. We will be back soon.

Yelp
Perhaps the best beer in Chicagoland! We visited today and tried two different IPAs, the Just Use Your Wings Winter Double IPA 7.5% and the Blue Hour Vermont style IPA 8% alcohol. The taproom is small but nice. The brewery was nicely lit for visitors. The Blue Hour is a classic IPA very very nice and I drank with a cheeseburger which was sublime. Having drunk IPAs for 10 years, this is one of the best. Very good flavor. The Just Use Your wings was so nice with nachos and salsa.
google avatar

Yelp
Probably my favorite chicagoland brewery! Everything from their pilsners, ipas, stouts, barrel aged selections is done extremely well! If you love hazy ipa's you will be in heaven. They usually have a food truck on most evenings. Soon they will be expanding their locations to here and Elmhurst. Keep rockin' Shaun and Evan!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun place and great beverages. Recommend for the beer aficionado and they also have hare seltzers for the non beer folk.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
Really great brewery. Some breweries have a signature element: these guys use fruit. So many amazing options but their Smoothie Hard Seltzers are amazing. I drank sour beer and then went to the smoothies. Do I have a favorite? Several of them. Jungle Cats and R & R were amazing. Interconnected was an amazing NE IPA that we loved. Nothing I would change, one of the best and unique breweries I have been too.

Yelp
Review of beers and staff, we went to their Bushel of Apples Fest not the taproom. We had a big group and decided to try everything they offered that day, roughly all 20 beers they had on tap. Everything was full of flavor and strong :) My favorites: Bushel of Apples Oktoberfest TDH unchecked imagination P3 Pils Double Chantilly dragonfruit Good selection of beers to go and on tap. This place is great, I hope to visit the taproom soon.

Yelp
Another great brewery has been found. This one stands out as it is OPEN on Monday! They offer food from Kooker's takeout and delivery that's just down the street. You may also bring your own food. Do not leave without trying their smoothie hard seltzers in delicious fruit flavors. They are 5% abv and very refreshing. Indoor seating and outdoor seating both are available. They keep the tables very clean. Plenty of hand sanitizer for your use. Step up to the bar and place your order. They will bring your drinks to you.

Yelp
We had a fantastic visit over Mother's Day weekend, at Phase Three. I enjoyed tasting the LULZ smoothie, Things we don't say and P3 Pils. However, we left with several more cans to try at home. I typically like a Pilsner or lighter fruity flavored drinks but with P3 I'll try it all, as they are all so good. The team here, especially Efron, went out of their way to warmly welcome us and answer any questions we had. As others have shared, everyone here is just so nice. The openness of the tasting areas and outdoor seating make this a fun and relaxed atmosphere that is inviting and uniquely decorated. You can purchase their great P3 merch here as well, including drinkware and jewelry. I look forward to returning and sitting outside or catching a food truck day.

Yelp
Was there on 8/7. Edward the bartender was amazing. I don't drink much and he was so patient even though he was pretty busy. Best bartender ever!

Yelp
Where to even begin? Phase Three has become one of the best breweries Chicagoland has to offer. The consistent quality of their beers is unmatched. The taproom itself looks small at first look, but they do have a larger room in the back with pinball! Back to the beer...they make an almost absurd amount of hazy IPAs with DDH Double Pixel Density as one of my favorites. I do wish they would have a little bit more variety in their weekly releases like a west coast, lager, or other type of pale ale. They have a great milkshake IPA line in the Chantilly series with the ube variant as the most recent one I enjoyed. Purple Beer! Lastly, their stout and barrel-aged program are phenomenal. The Eunoia series is always exciting to try and I just stopped by to pick up my allotment of Arabesque 2022 - the most recent barleywine. Other perks, their merch is top notch as I love my beanie and my boyfriend loves his button down. Staff is always super friendly anytime I visit and I always look forward to the food options they have on the weekends! Hoping that they start brewery tours soon.
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
I couldn't choose, so I made my own beer flight of IPAs. I wish I could remember all the ones I tried and which were my favorite, but I'll just have to come back!

Richard G.

Yelp
Beers are micro small. All was good till saw sizes of beer and bill. I've been to several top league breweries and not felt so ripped off from this place as had to say something. 18 bucks for two small micro micro microscopic (Thanks for hanging with me) beers. Quality was good not great anyways. Will not make a return trip. Overcharged snd felt cheated.

Dave B.

Yelp
Pros: Great beer with a wide variety of styles. Haven't had a bad one yet. Also, off the beaten path of LZ, so I like that. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Cons: Please, please, please do a better job on your pours. Nothing turns me off about a brewery more than a bad pour, and unfortunately, this is notable to me at Phase 3. As great as the beer is, and I've been there many times, the pours have been lacking every time!
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
A nice looking Brewery in the heart of Lake Zurich this place has some of the best beer I've ever tried and is very small and unique in an industrial zone. This is about as common of a brewery as one will come across
google avatar

Vince A.

Yelp
Beers are top notch. Clean, cool tasting room and helpful employees. Must stop if you are a beer person like me.
google avatar

Kylie S.

Yelp
Amazing beer with amazing atmosphere. I already cannot wait to sit inside and enjoy a drink. They are tucked away in a business complex with a large parking lot, where they have tables and heaters set up! The beer selection is fantastic and the service was so great. Their to-go is just set up down the sidewalk with lots of beer and merch to choose from (highly affordable)! I can't speak higher of them here and I cannot wait to return.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
By far the best brewpub in the NW suburbs. Top notch NEIPA's and Stouts if you're lucky to try. They also have a food truck on premises now. Check this place out ASAP.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
Finding out that Phase 3 is technically in our new neighborhood is certainly a plus. There are two separate components to Phase 3 - the beer itself & the taproom. The beer: There's always something interesting being released. I never thought I would be the type of person to get 'limited edition' beer, but here we are. Each beer I've tried has been so full of flavor (and ABV). Definitely worth picking up if you aren't into sitting in places yet. The taproom: It is on the smaller size, so if it's a good day for drinking (aka every day) plan to sit outside unless you're lucky to snag a table. The people working here really care about the beer & are SO nice.

Nicolette S.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoy coming here for delicious beers. The kids looove the pinball machines!

Yelp
Phase Three Brewing has been one of my favorite breweries since 2019. In 2020 my love for their beers escalated to a new level and I found myself buying them nearly every week at my local bottle shops. I would send my boyfriend to the brewery to get me all of their special cans and bottles because he lived much closer. Finally, a few weeks ago, I was able to visit the brewery in person and it was like going to Disneyland! If you like a chill environment, great beers and a diverse selection, this is the place for you. First off, we've been super cautious over Covid-19 so we're very selective about where we go based on policies and cleaning procedures in the rare (once every couple months) occasions that we venture out anywhere. This place is great. As of right now, you can either sit inside, distanced/masked appropriately, or outside. It was a decent day so we sat outside. Everything was clean and checked up on. Staff was cleaning tables in between patrons. Only went inside to grab our beers and use the bathroom. The only, and I mean only complaint, was that the bathrooms needed to be checked up on more. The later the night went, the messier they got. Otherwise, everything else was great. Phase Three is known for their DIPAs but occasionally they'll have their rare stouts, bottle pours, their occasional Chantilly (milkshake IPA) or Nectars (fruited sours.) As a mega fan, I can say all have been amazing. Checking them out in person is even better. Great, friendly and attentive staff, absolutely love the decor and the music. And if you're lucky, you might even get to enjoy a delicious food truck while you're there!
google avatar

Elliott K.

Yelp
Visited for the first time last week and had a great time. Great brews, friendly service, and neat swag. I had their imperial stout, Kolsch, and Belgian Whit during my visit, and all three were great . Also took some to-go beers and those have been great to!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Figuratively and literally. It is the best brewery I have ever been to. Hands down the beer is amazing. The staff is amazing and always positive even when they are very busy. Family friendly while having an awesome vibe. Really can not do this place justice with a review. You need to see it to appreciate it!
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
So first off their beer is amazing. But also the people working the tap room are just so nice! They bought my MIL free beer because we came after their wedding and were just lovely to interact with. Lots of room outdoor with picnic tables and barrels to sit at. Dog friendly. Check them out!!!
google avatar

CJ A.

Yelp
Great beers and even better seltzers and smoothies. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. We sat outside and also in the back room. The place is clean and they bring in a food truck and that was yummy also. I highly suggest the smoothies. They are very good. My husband liked all the beers that he tried. We will be back for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here yesterday for the grand opening and had a pretty good time. They had 3 areas to seat yourself: outside beer garden, inside near the checkout area and in the brewery itself. We chose the brewery and loved being able to see behind the scenes of their operation. The check out main area is super cute and I loved the decor. After we got our table we lined up to order some beers. The beers we tried were: Strawberry Guava Sour - sooooo good. If you like sours please don't skip this one. After drinking this I was so upset that the other sour was sold out! Adhara- not bad but not our favorite of the bunch. TPD- I normally don't like IPAs but this one was pretty tasty! Mango Chantilly- delicious ipa milkshake although I still like the orange one more because it tastes fruitier. Curvature- super thick black stout but somehow wasn't too heavy. I definitely tasted the chocolate and coffee like most stouts have but I could distinctly taste the cocoa nibs which I thought was awesome. Didn't taste the graham cracker as much though. I also purchased a shirt which I really like. The only negatives we had were: 1) we wished they had more beers to choose from for their grand opening. 2) They were not strict with the mask policy. People were walking around in the brewery area with literally NO mask in sight. Some were even walking with staff members not wearing masks and nothing was done about it. Just a little alarming to see that because it makes you wonder what else they aren't enforcing during this time. Overall I would definitely come back to try another round of beers!
google avatar

Suzy H.

Yelp
Amazing brewery! The beers are absolutely Crisp, delicious, and refreshing. For someone who doesn't really drink hard seltzers..... they were absolutely worth the try and highly recommend them too. It would be really great to see this brewery have it on kitchen so hopefully someday this happens. On a specific day I went there was a personal chef stand with a menu and we're also given the option to have food delivered from a local restaurant. I look forward to returning and trying what will be on the beer menu next!
google avatar

K D.

Yelp
We have visited Phase Three a couple of times. The staff has always been polite and informative aboutthe beer. Katie and Ephron are great. The beer was excellent. We will be back again.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
Very plain looking brewery . Dull boring. There was a small child laying on the floor with his face touching the ground.WTF is happening. It's in an industrial area way back by itself. Kind of creepy. I only had one beer and it wasn't that great it was OK. I'm not from the area so I won't be going back. But for anyone else that lives in the area. I would think twice before going. And on their menu for entertainment there were supposed to be someone there at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 there was still nobody there. Not impressed at all.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Pushing some of the best beer out of Illinois. Very sleek and stylish tap room. Always a number of good beers on draft. Barrel aged stout game is on fire. All the events have been a great time. Could have better food options. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend checking this place out!
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Artwork. Beers. Staff. You'll be blown away by all of these. Artwork is done by one of the owners. Beers are so flavorful, unique, and full. Seriously, the most one-of-a-kind out of the world. Staff are so charismatic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. It's a real beer fam there. Get there and get there now!
google avatar

Julie A.

Yelp
A lot of solid choices for all types of beer drinkers! I didn't love the 2 seltzer's that they had, but they did have a wonderful Pilsner and lager available. We had their veggie pizza and it was suitable for the 5 of us. Would love to go back in the spring/summer for their outdoor area!
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Absolutely in love with the Lulz R&R. It's my favorite. They also have the Lulz Cactus that is real good. It's nice inside, really nice deep greens and floral
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
I have to say the beers and seltzers at this place are amazing plus the staff is very knowledgeable and very nice there is a nice outside seating and you can order in food
google avatar

Edward L.

Yelp
Wack they only have Bushel Cider on tap. Wanted to bring some to tell my friends I had the best apple picking experience, but no. They sold out. Binged on some other brewskis makes my disappointments a decent buzz. #comingbackearlytomorrow
google avatar

Ivan D.

Yelp
Nice spot, clean environment, really good beer, great service, everyone friendly. No food, but food truck outside. If they added a couple of simple but delicious food items to this place, it would be a hidden gem. Mini-burgers, wings, etc.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Half the fun of a brewery is hanging out there, and Phase 3 does not disappoint in that dept.. And lucky for them, they also make fantastic beers and seltzers. I'm not a seltzer guy, but theirs are by far the best I've ever had.

Jim O.

Yelp
Yes, the beer and cider are above average, but the pricing is exorbitant. A few picnic tables on gravel by the parking lot, a few seats in the antiseptic tasting room inside. Overpriced 4 packs to go, impersonal service and zero character. OK if you bring your own friends or just need to grab carry out, but certainly not a place to hang out. Would be nice if they brought back the neighborhood vibe of Phase 1 but kept the improved beer!

Tip Y.

Yelp
Possibly a bit biased since I am an Ambassador and long time local, but best brewery in Illinois, hands down. The Chicagoland area has a plethora of great breweries but P3 has been a stand out for me. Shaun is a beer magician. I've been following his work since the Ram days. So many styles executed so well but his stouts are just top tier. Always a pleasure visiting the taproom, everyone is always so friendly with good vibes. I love grabbing a couple pours and chilling in the barrel room. The longer they have been open, the more special events and tappings they host. Definitely a much needed establishment in LZ. If you are from out of town and visiting the area, I highly recommend P3 for your beer fix.
google avatar

Tina M.

Yelp
Amazing staff, great beer! Added bonus to our trip was the live Irish music! Will definitely be back MANY times, hidden gem in lake Zurich! (Decor is BEYOND!)
google avatar

Daniel E.

Yelp
Awesome beers especially their sour ales and ipas. Well worth the 40+ minute trip each way to pick up their beers
google avatar

Larry B.

Yelp
World class beer always on tap. You will find their rare and sought after Stouts (Curvature) , Fruited IPAS (Double Nectar), and DDH IPAs (Pixel Density) on draft in their lively and chill outdoor environment. They were all carefully practicing COVID guidelines too.

David I.

Yelp
Ryan and Efferon (spelling? Apologies in advance) were super friendly and knowledgeable about the product. This place rocks and I took 3 different beers to go... thanks Phase 3! This is a must for any lover of craft beer.

Megan A.

Yelp
Love their outdoor space. Felt really safe. Dogs enjoyed it too. Their selection of IPAs can't be beat.

Brenda F.

Yelp
Great outdoor area with live music. The pixel ipa was awesome. Will return in the near future as beer choice was limited. If you love ipa's they have a great selection.
