This place was so yummy! Very clean and nice in the inside. Staff were extremely friendly. We got the Crispy Shrimp sandwich, lunch sushi special, and chicken Katsu. The crispy shrimp sandwich was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Has a little kick to it and is messy but I think that’s what makes it so good!

Google
Such an amazing restaurant. We had the best three rolls in my opinion. They all complemented each other! The service was good and our waiter was attentive. We didn't have to wait to be seated at all, but the rolls took 25 minutes. The ambience of the restaurant was Lively and it was steady with customers. We will definitely be coming back!

Google
Had a nice experience, food was good need a little more flavor then what it had, they are definitely stingy when given u sauce for your meals, service for food was great we didn’t have to wait long at all. My only issue is the space in the restaurant. It’s a busy area so it’s a busy restaurant. Needs more space to feel comfortable.

Google
Between the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks, Phat Boy has become one of our favorite spots to dine. A BIG shout out to Alyssa - thanks so very much for always making our evening fun and full of laughter! Love her energy and how she always makes sure we feel valued and important. Overall, highly suggest you check it out for lunch and dinner. Amazing happy hour deals too!

Food is good, and customer service is excellent wont be disappointed will definitely be back. i just don't like the fact that togo order has to go in the back of the building. Get some security back there it can get dangerous

Google
One of my fave sushi spots (and I'm picky!) the salmon trio and lychee martini are my happy hour go-tos. The staff is always on point and assistant right away. What a cozy spot for good sushi!

Yelp
so I randomly stumbled into Phat Boy Sushi without planning and omg I was actually impressed. First off, they've got multiple locations, but this one I went to was pure vibes. Didn't expect much, but it turned out super good! They've got happy hour deals that are seriously worth it like sushi at these prices? Yes please. The fish was fresh, the flavors hit, but real talk the sushi rolls were kinda falling apart. Rice wasn't packed tight enough so things got messy lol. Still tasty tho The vibe was chill, perfect for hanging out with friends. I sat outside which was nice but the bugs were kinda doing the most so keep that in mind. Shoutout to the staff tho. they were soooo sweet and attentive! Even outside, they kept checking on us and making sure we were good the whole time. Love that Definitely wanna check out their other locations next time. If you're nearby, you should totally give it a shot. Good sushi, chill drinks, fun spot to hang out. 10/10 for the experience

Yelp
I usually dine at the Coral Springs location but came here for a working lunch. We already had a table and were greeted by our server shortly after. I'm usually here for happy hour but ordered from the full menu this time. I decided to order the spicy miso ramen with steak. For my side I had miso soup. The other side choice was a house salad. We received our sides pretty quickly. They had a tv for entertainment while we waited. It did take awhile for our entrees to come out. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time we went. The food was worth the wait though and the ramen was delicious! The only thing I didn't care for was the size of steak pieces in my ramen. They were a bit hard to bite and I wish they would've been cut up first. The restaurant had a bar area and the bathrooms appeared clean. It was overall another great Phat Boy location.

Yelp
We love the Phat Boy Sushi brand. We take turns with Davie / Downtown FTL / Oakland Park locations depending on who we are with. The happy hour is amazing between 3-6pm and we like the Davie location best for the Salmon trio. The service is always pleasant and timely. The entire menu is delicious!! Chicken karaage is good. Spring rolls are perfect. Boo loves the Tonkotsu Ramen. Asian crunch salad with added grilled chicken is my absolute favorite. Rainbow roll is great. This restaurant is a win win always!!!!!

Yelp
This place is buzzing! Soon after happy hour we noticed that it became very busy. This is later on towards the early evening. Patron started filing in in the restaurant became Lizzie quickly. The food was delicious as usual. They added a few new items to the menu which a few people our party tried out and loved. Such a fun, poppy vibe inside. Definitely a tasty location!

Yelp
First time here. I love the interior design and ambiance. We ordered the crispy bokchoy , the shishito peppers, the steak jerky, amd a miso soup. All of the food was delicious... full of flavor.. and fresh. Our server was great and came around multiple times to check on us. My only critique was that when we first walked in we waited to be seated while no one on staff acknowledged us for a while... but after that everything went well.

Yelp
Stacey, our server, is the best! She has a great sense of humor. Her recommendations are always spot on. The food, prices, service and ambiance are all great. We frequent sushi restaurants and wonder why we don't just return here! We will!!!

Yelp
I highly recommend! I've been to this location several times as well as their Pompano Beach location. I have tired different rolls, the fried rice, the noodles, and almost all the appetizers on the menu. Everything has been fresh, presented beautifully and delicious! The service is outstanding. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I've dined inside and outside, and the service has been great in both areas. Highly recommended making a reservation if you have a large party.

Yelp
Great food good happy hour price and very clean they have variety of appetizers my favorite the tempura coliflor

Yelp
I've had lunch here 5 or 6 times over the past few months, and dinner at the Coral Springs location a few times as well. The food is always tasty, although the quality feels a smidge lower at lunchtime for some reason, particularly the sushi. The miso soup is a more elevated version than you'll find at your average sushi restaurant; try the spicy miso soup if you like spice! The kani salad is another go to that is at once creamy, salty, and a touch spicy. The service has always been a high point for me. I usually find the same server every time I come for lunch, and he's really friendly and takes four stars for food up to a five star level. This location is also really quiet when they first open for lunch, but does pick up with time, so coming in earlier is always better.

Yelp
We love this location. Outside and inside seating is available as well as a bar, this location is nice and clean, bring a sweater or jacket if you get cold easily the ac most definitely works. We came just in time for Happy Hour and it did not disappoint! We ordered several different items from the happy hour menu which is from 3pm-6pm and is very reasonable in pricing. It wasn't too packed so we were seated very quickly and by the time I came out of the bathroom from washing my hands our order was being taken. We had a mix of items, the Salmon Sushi Trio is so good, the Torpedo Shrimp was just right and the perfect crisp, today we tried something new the Tako Yaki, it was good. To see everything we ate check the pictures, everything was plated nicely, came out fast, hot and fresh!

Yelp
I came here for a spontaneous Monday night date, and it did not disappoint. We arrived to a quiet atmosphere (since it was a weekday), and got seated right away. The interior is super cute and cozy. A big plus: Mondays mean half-off lychee martinis, so I couldn't resist trying one. It was a bit strong for my taste, but can't complain because it's such a good deal! For food, we went with a few rolls to share: the trio roll, hamachi cilantro roll (this one was our least favorite--it was okay but mostly tasted like vegetables), and the surf and turf roll, which was hands down our favorite. We also had the salmon poke nachos as an appetizer, which were surprisingly filling for sushi and definitely hit the spot. I was surprised by the variety of the menu--there are lots of options beyond sushi, like ramen, hibachi, and salads. They also have happy hour daily from 3-6, which seems like a great time to swing by if you're in the area. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely a place I'd return to!

Yelp
Fatboy sushi was great. This is actually my first time trying sushi and I really really enjoyed it. I'm not the biggest fan, but it wasn't bad at all. I actually sat there and tried to wasabi and burn my nose. It was so spicy almost gave me a headache, but the food was pretty good. I'm not a fan of cold sushi. I would rather something a little bit hot. The service is great when I got there. My food is ready for me to go cause I came to get pick up, but I'm real chill especially at night they have a bar we can go grab some drinks and and catch up and what not I'm going on a great date, but it was really really good for sure. Will definitely go again.

Yelp
This was our first time here at Phat Boy, and the place was super nice and cozy. Savanna took very well care of us made great sushi choices. We will definitely come back. The spicy red dragon was fire! Literally lol

Yelp
You really cannot beat the happy hour from 3-6pm at Phat Boys! The portion size, the strong cocktails (lychee martini and espresso for the win), and the service! Everything was flavorful and fresh. We came for the happy hour, we stayed for the vibes well past 6pm. Thank you Phat Boy sushi for your excellent service and quality. I'm for sure returning to this location

Yelp
I've came here a couple times and at first I didn't like it because the sushi isn't very good. However this my 3rd time visiting and wow! The appetizers and regular protein meals were amazing. My mom got the chicken Habachi and I got a whole bunch of appetizers off the happy hour meals. It was great

Yelp
I was making my rounds before moving for a bit and we decided on Phat Boy Sushi. It's a pretty quaint restaurant with inside and outside seating. We opted to sit inside. I must have looked at the menu a thousand times and couldn't decide on what to get so I ordered the Krab Rangoon dip and my friend ordered the chicken katsu meal. I love krab rangoon so I knew the dip would hit the spot. The wonton chips that originally came out were super oily and soggy so our server brought out some fresh chips. My dip was delicious. I almost scraped the plate. I tried the chicken katsu and the chicken was ok the outside was crunchy but the chicken itself lacked some flavor. When I do get back home I'll be stopping by again to try some of those sushi rolls. You should too.

Yelp
Had a lovely evening with a good friend, great service by Kevin, compliments to the chefs on their wonderful presentation of food! We were seated by the front window, nice and quiet area!

Yelp
We arrived to this location it was 7pm. We walked in and immediately seated by the host outside as we requested. There was another couple dining outside. It is now 7:20pm and two waiters came outside, acknowledged the couple and walked right by us without acknowledging our table. No worries. I went inside and politely asked for the manager, who did come out within seconds to address our concerns. My husband and I frequent this restaurant and could understand if this was a busy night but clearly it was not. The manager was very apologetic and sent someone out to assist us. Within a few minutes of speaking with the manager and young waitress came out with two waters and was very nice. The food was great, this restaurant has always been consistent. The beginning of our dining experience was a little rocky but it ended very well. To our surprise, the manager came out with fried donuts and ice cream on the house for the rough start. It was definitely a surprise since my husband and I don't typically have sweets. The gesture was very nice and thoughtful!

Yelp
This place has great reviews so we decided to judge for ourselves. They have a lot of food options. Not many vegetarian sushi rolls so if you don't eat seafood like me,( I am allergic) then stick to the front side of the menu. Some plates on the front seem like it's a whole meal but it's not. Small plates are appetizers as well. Customer service was great and the lychee martini was good as well. They had good music super cute decor and just wanted to hang there. Overall I think I will return for happy hour.
google avatar

Yelp
Phat Boy Sushi presents a broad and ambitious menu. On this visit, I sampled only the fried rice. It was far from traditional, but not without merit. The preparation leaned toward the inventive rather than the classic, which may surprise those expecting a more conventional approach.

Yelp
Enjoyed a great lunch at Phat Boy Sushi in Davie. We both got the Sushi Lunch and a lychee martini. They were great! I've been to Phat Boy previously, but never at this location. The food is consistently good. I would recommend to stop in for lunch as they have good specials & fast service.

Bowman S.

Yelp
Excellent experience all around! Been a customer for two years now. Restaurant/property is well maintained, clean, functional and pretty enough. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Kitchen is quick and consistent on what they deliver. Food is delicious and a great value considering the quality and portion sizes. Other businesses/restaurants could learn from Phat Boy Sushi in Davie.

Yelp
We had such a fun ladies night at their happy hour! Half off cocktails! Espresso martini, cucumber cooler and strawberry drinks were all so good! Waiter was very fast and attentive. Loved the tempura cauliflower, udon noodles needed a bit more spice/flavor , and we ate the banana dumplings so fast, definitely think this place is great for just the cocktails, apps and dessert!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice Asian style restaurant with full bar and lots of choices. We ordered 3 appetizers and then our meals. Food was fresh and well made. Parking spots were all over. When you go, try to avoid busy times if you want to eat in air conditioned comfort.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing!! Came here for my sister's birthday dinner and loved it. This was my first time visiting Phat Boy and I've been meaning to try it for a while. I ordered tempura jb roll and steak fried rice. Although we arrived late in the night, they accommodated us and ensured that we were promptly attended to. Orders came out quickly and fresh most importantly. Loved the ambiance of the dim lighting. It has almost a lounge vibe here. I will definitely be returning for the cauliflower and more drinks! Their other locations are near to me and hope to find myself frequenting them more.

Yelp
Our daughter tried this place and liked it and took us there for lunch after church. It is right next to Mission BBQ in a plaza with lots of parking. The decor is simple and serene with seating inside and out. For appetizers we had the tempura cauliflower (at her suggestion) and the TNT tuna, based on reviews from Yelp. The cauliflower came with a special sauce that made its crunchiness flavorful. But I really wished the cauliflower was soaked in the sauce, because the bites without sauce were plain and tasteless. The TNT tuna was not only appealing to the eye, but yummy in the tummy. A blob of tempura rice is topped by shredded spicy tuna, which is then topped with strands of seaweed. We couldn't get each piece into our mouths with one bite, so opted for using our chopsticks to cut it into two and then devouring it. We had the Dragon roll, the Bling Bling roll, and the sashimi combination. The latter had slices that seemed thick, but nevertheless they were not chewy. The Dragon roll was good. The Bling Bling roll had tempura lobster tail and was topped with roe. Although it had a nice crunch, we could not taste the lobster and wished the breading had been absent. I loved that the restrooms were unisex: first come, first served. The server was polite and quick (except for the long wait for the sashimi combination, which I am sure was the kitchen's fault). The bill with two appetizers, three entrees, tax, and tip was $113. Definitely order the TNT tuna. It's listed as an appetizer; but with five pieces, it would make a nice meal.

Yelp
This restaurant is excellent. I was enjoying the company I was with and the food and drink here made my visit even better. I ordered two Spicy Margaritas. I really enjoyed the drink but next time would not have the spiciness around the rim. The Philly roll was very fresh and really delicious. I liked the cauliflower tempura. The friedness of it was very balanced. Our server was nice. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoyed the music. There is a pretty good amount of parking. During busy times, you might have to park a ways down. Great restaurant when you want to unwind and eat some high quality food.
google avatar

Erika H.

Yelp
Sushi was not great and the happy hour menu could be better. Waiter was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour, the food was decent. My favorite was the tuna tartare wontons Drinks were great, tried the green tea shot and that was interesting Service was quick for us, even despite how busy they were at that hour Inside is decorated to give the ambiance of an chic Asian bar My overall experience was great because of the company I was with, but the food was just okay to me, if not a bit pricey if I'm being honest

Yelp
Had what seemed like a good experience! But the service and logistics definitely a 3 star. Red flag 1: A waitress that wasn't even ours literally asked if we can move after we ordered because the "she (hostesses) messed up" and they needed our table for a larger party. I understand, but they could have said it differently such as "we (the restaurant) messed up", and they didn't even tell our waiter before hand! We had to tell him! Awk.... Red flag 2: we had to call our waiter over 3 times because he would be assisting the table next door but wouldn't look our way! We called to order, to order extra sauce and to bring the check. Red flag 3: as we were done eating, another waiter asked if he could take our high chair. Although, we were not using it that moment, he would have waited till we left as we were literally waiting to pay! && there wasn't many kids in the restaurant anyway, so they should def have more high chairs. Maybe this wouldn't have annoyed me if they didn't already ask us to move..... Red flag 4: absolutely no compensation for making us move tables, wasn't expecting 100% it but a dessert/ discount/ anything would have been nice for the inconvenience. The good: My sushi (the dragon roll) was really good! I paired it with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Will I recommend this place? No, probably will not return.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place but have mixed feelings. The phat girl roll was a kinda hyped up and it was good not great. I did love the crispy bok choy but it was very oily. My table loved the seaweed salad which I thought was normal for sushi restaurant. The jalapeno on the hamachi was too thick where it detracted from the taste of the fish. I did love the sashimi- super fresh and very tasty! We also got the banana dumpling which was good.

Natalia U.

Yelp
Such a beautiful hidden gem in wilton manors! Everything is fresh and the music and atmosphere are everything!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Always refreshing. Love their afternoon menu. It's worth it. The staff is always friendly. Price is right based on the portion. Many seatings. They have indoor and outdoor seatings.
google avatar

Yelp
Probably my 3rd visit to this restaurant they never disappoint. I love their fried rice but my favorite item this time was the TNT Tuna roll. the Hamachi roll hits the spot every time, and the beef yakitori was delish loads of umami flavor
google avatar

Yelp
So I am a huge sushi fan and I needed a bit of sushi in South Florida while I was on my visit. I like this place it is kind of like a one stop shop for Asian cuisine. It is an Asian fusion concept. But this place is made for people who aren't Complete sushi lovers because their sushi menu is not extensive . However, I love the fact that you can get noodles rice plates, Raman sushi, great appetizers during their happy hour and also cute amazing drinks. I had their lychee martini, and it was very very strong and I enjoyed it but the next time I go down and visit it would not be a place that I will go and get sushi, but I would definitely try it all of their hot plates. I also didn't expect this place to be as big as it was and the decor is super cute and funny at the same time truly great place.

Yelp
Fantastic across the board! Service and food are 5 star There is also a good happy hour We are close to federal and se 7 th st so that's our go to location Enjoy

Yelp
The best place to hang out with fAmily and friends. Their dishes are yummy and their price them very well. Don't forget to try their cocktails. Also they have very nice waiter and waitress and you can ask them for different sides.

Yelp
Love this place. From the food to the drinks to the prices, everything is fair and great quality. Small - medium size place staffed well enough to make sure you're not waiting at all. Typical Japanese atmosphere and decor!
google avatar

Yelp
Great eats, service was good, no ambiance. Prices not too bad. Location easy to find.

Linda A.

Yelp
Food was delicious!! Service was great as well as we were sitting outside. Outside was pretty and cute photo op. Not overly crowded when we went, we had a reservation for 6 at 7.30pm on a Saturday.
google avatar

Dante M.

Yelp
We have eaten here many times and enjoy the good food. We like to sit at the bar and we had a pleasant bartender named Alyssa serve us. She always greets us with a smile and adds to our dining pleasure. The only thing that bugs us is that they stopped serving Ebi sushi for some reason. Never heard of a sushi place that didn't serve it. I love the Red Dragon roll. Delicious. Please start serving Ebi again. We miss it. Thanks Dante and Marla See ya soon.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was popping, but I was seated fairly quickly. The atmosphere was modern and hip. I tried the sashimi supreme (15 piece) and surf and turf fried rice. The sashimi was great. The cut was good, fish was fresh, and presentation neat. I did not like the surf and turf fried rice though. It was a piece of seasoned steak and chopped up lobster meat laid on top of the rice. While it might be more striking presentation wise, it's hard to call it fried rice because the rice did not get any of the meat flavor. The rice was soggy, and lacks flavor, while the meats were super salty. The steak was cooked very nicely and seasoned well though a bit on the heavy side. The lobster was so salty that I cannot taste the actual lobster, just the sauce. I am interest in trying the sushi rolls though, so I might be back.

Christopher G.

Yelp
Very good food and service. Clean and calm environment. Food is fresh and lots to choose from
google avatar

Dorothea P.

Yelp
I had never been to this location but it is just as good as the other ones! I came for dinner on a Sunday night. It's super nice that right up front they have reserved parking for the people dining here. I sat at the bar and ordered two rolls the hamachi jalapeño and the phat girl roll with the crispy bok choy. The bok Choy came out first and I love the sauce that comes with it. The two rolls came out together. If you liked cooked rolls the phat girl is a hot deep friend roll topped with tuna. The hamachi jalapeño one is always one of my favorites with the spicy was and the freshness of the fish and I love that it comes wrapped in cucumber. Always a fan of this place glad that I got to try another location.

Walter W.

Yelp
Alyssa is the best!!! Service was great and all of her recommendations were stellar. We was some phat boi's at phat boi for sure.

Yadira R.

Yelp
Great location and delicious food. I have previously gone to the Fort Lauderdale location, but this time we decided to come in for the first time on a Sunday for lunch. The restaurant was fairly empty when we came in but we got great service from the beginning to end and it packed up by the time we finished. Nice indoor and outdoor sitting. For drinking, I had the lychee martini, which is one of the best I've ever had. For appetizers we went with the steak jerky, which was salty, crispy and delicious. For lunch I had the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. The broth was sooo rich and flavorful, I added a bit of chilly oil to give it that extra flavor and spice. I love how the pork piece were big meaty and fatty. I would definitely order this again. We also ordered the kimchi pork belly fried rice which was also fantastic. Super flavorful and not super spicy. We were able to enjoy everything on the plate. Definitely recommend this location.
google avatar

Pablo R.

Yelp
I highly enjoyed my meal! The spicy miso was an inventive way to add a little variety to a classic. The soba was great and pretty much everything we ordered tasted well. The service was fine, but the young server did walk away for a few moments at a time and the edamame didn't get put in until the meal was done lol. Decor and Ambiance are pretty modern. Neon lights, foliage, etc. However, the overall experience was good and the Oreo dessert was great.

Yelp
As an avid sushi lover with a non living sushi husband, it's a winner, we had options, none photographed because he is impatient. But he had the surf and turf fried rice and the noodles with chicken. We did have a bit of a mix up with one of our orders, but the waitress was fast to fix the issue and bring out a replacement. It's quaint and cozy inside. Phat Girl Roll was delicious and we also had the shrimp shumai and the edamame which my 3 year old cleaned his plate! Can't wait to come back to try a few other rolls!
