Yelp
Our daughter tried this place and liked it and took us there for lunch after church.
It is right next to Mission BBQ in a plaza with lots of parking. The decor is simple and serene with seating inside and out.
For appetizers we had the tempura cauliflower (at her suggestion) and the TNT tuna, based on reviews from Yelp.
The cauliflower came with a special sauce that made its crunchiness flavorful. But I really wished the cauliflower was soaked in the sauce, because the bites without sauce were plain and tasteless. The TNT tuna was not only appealing to the eye, but yummy in the tummy. A blob of tempura rice is topped by shredded spicy tuna, which is then topped with strands of seaweed. We couldn't get each piece into our mouths with one bite, so opted for using our chopsticks to cut it into two and then devouring it.
We had the Dragon roll, the Bling Bling roll, and the sashimi combination. The latter had slices that seemed thick, but nevertheless they were not chewy. The Dragon roll was good. The Bling Bling roll had tempura lobster tail and was topped with roe. Although it had a nice crunch, we could not taste the lobster and wished the breading had been absent.
I loved that the restrooms were unisex: first come, first served.
The server was polite and quick (except for the long wait for the sashimi combination, which I am sure was the kitchen's fault). The bill with two appetizers, three entrees, tax, and tip was $113.
Definitely order the TNT tuna. It's listed as an appetizer; but with five pieces, it would make a nice meal.
