Not my first time at Phat Boy Sushi. But it is the first time I was disappointed. I sat outside with my two daughters. Salmon nachos are delicious and spicy. It was good on all levels, crunchy, full of texture and flavor. Overall, it's definitely a great appetizer that can also serve as an entrée. The sushi rolls are not so much. We ordered the Miss Liz and the trio. Both tasted like old rice, as if they had been sitting for a while. The fish tasted fresh, but the rest of the ingredients didn’t meet my standards. They fell apart before we could even move them. The server didn’t say which was which. Didn’t really clean off the tables unless we handed her something. Asked us if we wanted sauce after we received our sushi. Walked away, only eating half. I’ll continue to go to the other spots. This one just wasn’t it.

This place was so yummy! Very clean and nice in the inside. Staff were extremely friendly. We got the Crispy Shrimp sandwich, lunch sushi special, and chicken Katsu. The crispy shrimp sandwich was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Has a little kick to it and is messy but I think that’s what makes it so good!

Such an amazing restaurant. We had the best three rolls in my opinion. They all complemented each other! The service was good and our waiter was attentive. We didn't have to wait to be seated at all, but the rolls took 25 minutes. The ambience of the restaurant was Lively and it was steady with customers. We will definitely be coming back!

Phat Boy is consistently great food at a great price. No matter what you order, it will be delicious!!! Ask for Andrea, our favorite server....for a warm smile and exceptional service !

I only heard good things about Phat Boy and I can confirm that this place rocks! I recommend try their pork appetizer, which was amazing, and with good food always comes good people, their server was on point always caring and welcoming. I forgot her name but she knows who she is 🤣🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

Had a nice experience, food was good need a little more flavor then what it had, they are definitely stingy when given u sauce for your meals, service for food was great we didn’t have to wait long at all. My only issue is the space in the restaurant. It’s a busy area so it’s a busy restaurant. Needs more space to feel comfortable.

My experience at Phat Boy Sushi, Kitchen & Bar – Davie was disappointing. The Caesar salad had more chips than greens, which really took away from the flavor. The sushi also did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and quality. On the positive side, the wine I had was very good. Overall, it was still a letdown.

One of my fave sushi spots (and I'm picky!) the salmon trio and lychee martini are my happy hour go-tos. The staff is always on point and assistant right away. What a cozy spot for good sushi!

Absolutely loved our date night at Phat Boy Sushi! Hubby and I went in expecting a nice evening and left already planning our next visit. The torpedo shrimp was out of this world--crispy, flavorful, and honestly addictive. Every sushi roll we tried was fresh, creative, and beautifully made; you can really taste the quality and care in each bite. A big shoutout to Kevin, our waiter, who was incredibly friendly and attentive and made the whole experience even better. Service like that truly elevates a meal. And don't sleep on their happy hour menu--it's fantastic and runs Monday through Sunday from 3-6pm, which is such a win. Great food, great service, great vibes. Phat Boy Sushi is officially one of our favorite spots for date night!

Went for a quick lunch with my hubby it is super cute inside They were very accommodating we came with our baby. Our waitress was very nice so was the host she came by time to time to check on us along with our server Everything I had was delicious. It was so yummy. I enjoyed the salmon bowl so much like I wish they could sell this at the store. It was so delicious. Will be returning great service. Great food great place.

Ordered quite a few dishes from here and was very pleased. I got a range of options from fried rice, shrimp, appetizers. Crab Rangoon dip: a really good appetizer. The dip itself feels very filling but is really delicious. They serve it with a generous amount of wonton chips. Poke nachos: these were honestly a highlight for me. They were so delicious and flavorful. It was $18. The salmon itself is very fresh and the ratio of the ingredients is good. Fried rice: I got the 3 protein one, it was really delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly. It wasn't too overly salty. The rice was perfectly fried. Spicy mayo shrimp: these were good but would not get them again. The shrimp themselves are fried to perfection but the sauce being on the side just feels like regular shrimp to me and nothing special. Udon noodles: these were good, I do wish the noodles were more fried as they themselves along with the bok choy and mushrooms just felt like they were lacking flavor, it did have a hint of garlic. There is a variety of mushrooms which I loved. You can add protein starting at $4 for chicken. This is a good vegetarian option.

This restaurant has a cool, fun vibe with some neon lights and comfortable seating. We came late at night on Saturday, and we love that this restaurant is open until midnight on Friday or Saturday nights. Service here was fast, friendly and welcoming. Drink options and cocktails here are great. All tasted fantastic. We ordered various types of sushi rolls, and I would give their sushi rolls a solid 5 stars. We especially loved the lobster roll and crunch rolls. We also loved their chicken fried rice and teppanyaki menu items. The nigiri sushi was just ok because the rice was not properly seasoned sushi rice. It almost tasted like plain regular white rice with no vinegar or sugar. The amount of rice to fish portion for nigiri was off with way too much rice. However, this is a minor fix and overall, the restaurant is a winner for good sushi rolls, good service, and flavorful teppanyaki dishes. We will definitely come back.

This place was okay. Nothing making me want to come back. The sushi was good and it was well priced. So actually, It's good if you want a good deal and happy hour. I ordered the garlic edamame and I had better it lacked garlic and salt . I ordered the shrimp steamed dumplings. What came out? I had no idea what it was, it definitely wasn't dumplings or dumplings I was expecting and when I bit into one, it was kind of cold. I ordered pork Gyoza's, those were good and tasty . So again, I wouldn't come back, but if you're looking for something on a budget, good deals happy hour then go ahead and try it out .

We had been driving by this place for awhile and finally decide to try it. There is plenty of seating even for a busy night. The location has a modern/ neon signs Asian vibe which is very fitting to the area considering there is a university near by. The waitress was amazing and gave great recommendations considering it was our first time. I went with the Garlic Chicken Ramen and it was amazing. The portion is huge and you can definitely share.

I usually dine at the Coral Springs location but came here for a working lunch. We already had a table and were greeted by our server shortly after. I'm usually here for happy hour but ordered from the full menu this time. I decided to order the spicy miso ramen with steak. For my side I had miso soup. The other side choice was a house salad. We received our sides pretty quickly. They had a tv for entertainment while we waited. It did take awhile for our entrees to come out. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time we went. The food was worth the wait though and the ramen was delicious! The only thing I didn't care for was the size of steak pieces in my ramen. They were a bit hard to bite and I wish they would've been cut up first. The restaurant had a bar area and the bathrooms appeared clean. It was overall another great Phat Boy location.

We love the Phat Boy Sushi brand. We take turns with Davie / Downtown FTL / Oakland Park locations depending on who we are with. The happy hour is amazing between 3-6pm and we like the Davie location best for the Salmon trio. The service is always pleasant and timely. The entire menu is delicious!! Chicken karaage is good. Spring rolls are perfect. Boo loves the Tonkotsu Ramen. Asian crunch salad with added grilled chicken is my absolute favorite. Rainbow roll is great. This restaurant is a win win always!!!!!

This place is buzzing! Soon after happy hour we noticed that it became very busy. This is later on towards the early evening. Patron started filing in in the restaurant became Lizzie quickly. The food was delicious as usual. They added a few new items to the menu which a few people our party tried out and loved. Such a fun, poppy vibe inside. Definitely a tasty location!

First time here. I love the interior design and ambiance. We ordered the crispy bokchoy , the shishito peppers, the steak jerky, amd a miso soup. All of the food was delicious... full of flavor.. and fresh. Our server was great and came around multiple times to check on us. My only critique was that when we first walked in we waited to be seated while no one on staff acknowledged us for a while... but after that everything went well.

It's so nice to come back to place where the food is reliable and fresh! The fat girl roll Minus the cream cheese. Was delicious and very filling. Always get the salmon trio. So buttery and good. And all time favorite spicy tuna. Davie location. Worth mentioning we used to go to Coral Springs location. Just as good!

Came here to enjoy some gluten free sushi and miso soup, and I thoroughly did! Our server was also the bartender, and she made an amazing mule for me. She also was knowledgeable on gluten free protocol and was willing to ask the kitchen whenever she wasn't sure of something. I ordered the GF miso soup and also the edamame app. The edamame isn't listed as GF because you can add a marinade to it, but when you order it plain with just salt, it's gluten free. I really like salmon, so I ordered the two salmon rolls that were GF and took one home. I also asked for the GF soy sauce and was able to enjoy it on the table. The restaurant has some really nice areas for pictures and even though we were sat by the kitchen, we still had nice views all around from our seats.

It was not my vibe. The sushi was not it. It wasn't terrible but definitely not great. Drinks were weak for the price. Entree portions didn't match the price. I would definitely not go out of my way to visit. There are soooo many other great sushi spots why go to one that's just mediocre ‍

We went for dinner and found out they have a great happy hour! The service, drinks and food were exceptional! We will be back frequently! Paula was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. We will ask for her again on our next return. The ambiance of a private booth but still able to see the bars was comfortable and cozy. I just wish we had remembered to take pictures of our fabulous food!

Food was meh, honestly I think the prices were normal. There were some inconsistencies and noticed some lack of attention to detail but overall not a big deal. Returned a couple times because of convenient location and atmosphere

This our second time coming and it did not miss! We highly enjoyed our kimchi pork fried rice, which you can change the protein if you'd like and the udon mushroom noodles! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were delicious! I will be coming back to try more dishes. Each plate was $18 and the portion was shared between two people.

Stacey, our server, is the best! She has a great sense of humor. Her recommendations are always spot on. The food, prices, service and ambiance are all great. We frequent sushi restaurants and wonder why we don't just return here! We will!!!

I highly recommend! I've been to this location several times as well as their Pompano Beach location. I have tired different rolls, the fried rice, the noodles, and almost all the appetizers on the menu. Everything has been fresh, presented beautifully and delicious! The service is outstanding. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I've dined inside and outside, and the service has been great in both areas. Highly recommended making a reservation if you have a large party.

I came here for a spontaneous Monday night date, and it did not disappoint. We arrived to a quiet atmosphere (since it was a weekday), and got seated right away. The interior is super cute and cozy. A big plus: Mondays mean half-off lychee martinis, so I couldn't resist trying one. It was a bit strong for my taste, but can't complain because it's such a good deal! For food, we went with a few rolls to share: the trio roll, hamachi cilantro roll (this one was our least favorite--it was okay but mostly tasted like vegetables), and the surf and turf roll, which was hands down our favorite. We also had the salmon poke nachos as an appetizer, which were surprisingly filling for sushi and definitely hit the spot. I was surprised by the variety of the menu--there are lots of options beyond sushi, like ramen, hibachi, and salads. They also have happy hour daily from 3-6, which seems like a great time to swing by if you're in the area. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely a place I'd return to!

We love this location. Outside and inside seating is available as well as a bar, this location is nice and clean, bring a sweater or jacket if you get cold easily the ac most definitely works. We came just in time for Happy Hour and it did not disappoint! We ordered several different items from the happy hour menu which is from 3pm-6pm and is very reasonable in pricing. It wasn't too packed so we were seated very quickly and by the time I came out of the bathroom from washing my hands our order was being taken. We had a mix of items, the Salmon Sushi Trio is so good, the Torpedo Shrimp was just right and the perfect crisp, today we tried something new the Tako Yaki, it was good. To see everything we ate check the pictures, everything was plated nicely, came out fast, hot and fresh!

Phat boy Sushi, it's Good not great, I'd definitely recommend it as a good Sushi spot with plenty of options. The Service is always on point.

You really cannot beat the happy hour from 3-6pm at Phat Boys! The portion size, the strong cocktails (lychee martini and espresso for the win), and the service! Everything was flavorful and fresh. We came for the happy hour, we stayed for the vibes well past 6pm. Thank you Phat Boy sushi for your excellent service and quality. I'm for sure returning to this location

I've came here a couple times and at first I didn't like it because the sushi isn't very good. However this my 3rd time visiting and wow! The appetizers and regular protein meals were amazing. My mom got the chicken Habachi and I got a whole bunch of appetizers off the happy hour meals. It was great

This place is just okay, I've had better cuts of sashimi and rolls and prices here are inflated for the quality and service you receive. I tried a variety of their tuna and salmon rolls (rubbery) and wasn't impressed. I then decided to try their shrimp sandwich and I'm pretty sure it only had 3 small shrimp because the entire sandwich was swimming in whatever overpowering sauce they drowned the sandwich in. I think this restaurant could be better but honestly, it's one step above what Publix sells.

so I randomly stumbled into Phat Boy Sushi without planning and omg I was actually impressed. First off, they've got multiple locations, but this one I went to was pure vibes. Didn't expect much, but it turned out super good! They've got happy hour deals that are seriously worth it like sushi at these prices? Yes please. The fish was fresh, the flavors hit, but real talk the sushi rolls were kinda falling apart. Rice wasn't packed tight enough so things got messy lol. Still tasty tho The vibe was chill, perfect for hanging out with friends. I sat outside which was nice but the bugs were kinda doing the most so keep that in mind. Shoutout to the staff tho. they were soooo sweet and attentive! Even outside, they kept checking on us and making sure we were good the whole time. Love that Definitely wanna check out their other locations next time. If you're nearby, you should totally give it a shot. Good sushi, chill drinks, fun spot to hang out. 10/10 for the experience

We arrived to this location it was 7pm. We walked in and immediately seated by the host outside as we requested. There was another couple dining outside. It is now 7:20pm and two waiters came outside, acknowledged the couple and walked right by us without acknowledging our table. No worries. I went inside and politely asked for the manager, who did come out within seconds to address our concerns. My husband and I frequent this restaurant and could understand if this was a busy night but clearly it was not. The manager was very apologetic and sent someone out to assist us. Within a few minutes of speaking with the manager and young waitress came out with two waters and was very nice. The food was great, this restaurant has always been consistent. The beginning of our dining experience was a little rocky but it ended very well. To our surprise, the manager came out with fried donuts and ice cream on the house for the rough start. It was definitely a surprise since my husband and I don't typically have sweets. The gesture was very nice and thoughtful!

This place has great reviews so we decided to judge for ourselves. They have a lot of food options. Not many vegetarian sushi rolls so if you don't eat seafood like me,( I am allergic) then stick to the front side of the menu. Some plates on the front seem like it's a whole meal but it's not. Small plates are appetizers as well. Customer service was great and the lychee martini was good as well. They had good music super cute decor and just wanted to hang there. Overall I think I will return for happy hour.

We goto your east location and love the food. However on this evening a couple things were off: 1) chicken katsu rice was cold and not enough sauce 2) the food came all at once 3) the A/C over head was freezing 4) the waitress seemed like we were bothering her and didn't understand that Mayo is not vegan Overall we did not have the best experience but the sushi was on point!

We had such a fun ladies night at their happy hour! Half off cocktails! Espresso martini, cucumber cooler and strawberry drinks were all so good! Waiter was very fast and attentive. Loved the tempura cauliflower, udon noodles needed a bit more spice/flavor , and we ate the banana dumplings so fast, definitely think this place is great for just the cocktails, apps and dessert!

Nice Asian style restaurant with full bar and lots of choices. We ordered 3 appetizers and then our meals. Food was fresh and well made. Parking spots were all over. When you go, try to avoid busy times if you want to eat in air conditioned comfort.

Amazing!! Came here for my sister's birthday dinner and loved it. This was my first time visiting Phat Boy and I've been meaning to try it for a while. I ordered tempura jb roll and steak fried rice. Although we arrived late in the night, they accommodated us and ensured that we were promptly attended to. Orders came out quickly and fresh most importantly. Loved the ambiance of the dim lighting. It has almost a lounge vibe here. I will definitely be returning for the cauliflower and more drinks! Their other locations are near to me and hope to find myself frequenting them more.

This was our first time here at Phat Boy, and the place was super nice and cozy. Savanna took very well care of us made great sushi choices. We will definitely come back. The spicy red dragon was fire! Literally lol

This restaurant is excellent. I was enjoying the company I was with and the food and drink here made my visit even better. I ordered two Spicy Margaritas. I really enjoyed the drink but next time would not have the spiciness around the rim. The Philly roll was very fresh and really delicious. I liked the cauliflower tempura. The friedness of it was very balanced. Our server was nice. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoyed the music. There is a pretty good amount of parking. During busy times, you might have to park a ways down. Great restaurant when you want to unwind and eat some high quality food.

Amazing food, great happy hour prices. We had a kind waitress but she was not very attentive. We waited long for water refills and also had an unusually long wait before we saw her again to ask for the check. The table next to us spoke to us and said they were regulars and that service usually isn't so slow. It was our first time and we will try again. Hopefully next time our waiter/waitress is more attentive.

I was making my rounds before moving for a bit and we decided on Phat Boy Sushi. It's a pretty quaint restaurant with inside and outside seating. We opted to sit inside. I must have looked at the menu a thousand times and couldn't decide on what to get so I ordered the Krab Rangoon dip and my friend ordered the chicken katsu meal. I love krab rangoon so I knew the dip would hit the spot. The wonton chips that originally came out were super oily and soggy so our server brought out some fresh chips. My dip was delicious. I almost scraped the plate. I tried the chicken katsu and the chicken was ok the outside was crunchy but the chicken itself lacked some flavor. When I do get back home I'll be stopping by again to try some of those sushi rolls. You should too.

Had what seemed like a good experience! But the service and logistics definitely a 3 star. Red flag 1: A waitress that wasn't even ours literally asked if we can move after we ordered because the "she (hostesses) messed up" and they needed our table for a larger party. I understand, but they could have said it differently such as "we (the restaurant) messed up", and they didn't even tell our waiter before hand! We had to tell him! Awk.... Red flag 2: we had to call our waiter over 3 times because he would be assisting the table next door but wouldn't look our way! We called to order, to order extra sauce and to bring the check. Red flag 3: as we were done eating, another waiter asked if he could take our high chair. Although, we were not using it that moment, he would have waited till we left as we were literally waiting to pay! && there wasn't many kids in the restaurant anyway, so they should def have more high chairs. Maybe this wouldn't have annoyed me if they didn't already ask us to move..... Red flag 4: absolutely no compensation for making us move tables, wasn't expecting 100% it but a dessert/ discount/ anything would have been nice for the inconvenience. The good: My sushi (the dragon roll) was really good! I paired it with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Will I recommend this place? No, probably will not return.

Had a lovely evening with a good friend, great service by Kevin, compliments to the chefs on their wonderful presentation of food! We were seated by the front window, nice and quiet area!

Good food, really fresh. Pretty extensive menu so a lot to choose from, I always go with sushi or share a few different plates. The drinks are phenom if they don't have it on the menu, they'll make it for you (and quite potent!!).

I was so excited to try this place but have mixed feelings. The phat girl roll was a kinda hyped up and it was good not great. I did love the crispy bok choy but it was very oily. My table loved the seaweed salad which I thought was normal for sushi restaurant. The jalapeno on the hamachi was too thick where it detracted from the taste of the fish. I did love the sashimi- super fresh and very tasty! We also got the banana dumpling which was good.

Probably my 3rd visit to this restaurant they never disappoint. I love their fried rice but my favorite item this time was the TNT Tuna roll. the Hamachi roll hits the spot every time, and the beef yakitori was delish loads of umami flavor

So I am a huge sushi fan and I needed a bit of sushi in South Florida while I was on my visit. I like this place it is kind of like a one stop shop for Asian cuisine. It is an Asian fusion concept. But this place is made for people who aren't Complete sushi lovers because their sushi menu is not extensive . However, I love the fact that you can get noodles rice plates, Raman sushi, great appetizers during their happy hour and also cute amazing drinks. I had their lychee martini, and it was very very strong and I enjoyed it but the next time I go down and visit it would not be a place that I will go and get sushi, but I would definitely try it all of their hot plates. I also didn't expect this place to be as big as it was and the decor is super cute and funny at the same time truly great place.
