Food was good but there was a limited menu during my visit. We had to choose the brunch menu. Service was good but the guy kept coming to take dishes we were still eating. There was music playing and the dress was casual.

Google
I really enjoyed my time at this establishment. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. The music added a nice touch and it was not "Metro Boomin" which was appreciated. The food was flavorful and delicious, can't go wrong with fish and grits. Also it did not take long for them to bring out the food either.

For a Saturday Evening! It was Good music, good food ,good drinks We didn’t make reservations but they did find seating for us , the waitress she check on us regularly, They main entrees doesn't start until 5pm ,I ordered the voodoo roll and seafood pasta the atmosphere was great .

Google
The restaurant was cozy and had a lot of great seating options. My waitress was really nice and checked on us often. Parking is $10 and there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to the check. But, the food was ok. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was not seasoned well. I actually didn’t even eat all of my chicken. The vegetable spring rolls were really good. I’m not sure if I would go back again.

My first time at this facility, celebrating my bday. The atmosphere was great and the DJ played GREAT music! The staff was very friendly. While we were there, a staff member had a siezure & staff were very attentive to his needs. Great teamwork! My daughter & husband ordered chicken & waffles. The chicken was undercooked and the grease needed to be changed, but flavourful. The pork chops & grits were good. The shrimp & Crawfish etoufee was good! Additionally, the brunch punch was on point!

Google
Everything looks better than it actually tastes. My standards may be a little high, but the food was not worth my time or tastebuds. The service was mediocre. The best thing on the menu was the chicken. Multiple items were not brought out that was ordered, and the blue berry waffles are tasteless and too small. Do Not Recommend.

Google
The food was super tasty and had so much flavor! The waitress was very kind and attentive. The patio was great for hosting our friends birthday! We really enjoyed the voodoo rolls and the brunch punch! Will be coming back to try more from the menu 😁

We decided to do a date night while visiting Houston on last night which was a Monday. The live music was incredible. The food, drinks and desserts we ordered were excellent. Chole our server was amazing, we ordered everything she recommended from start to finish and we were not disappointed. We’ll definitely be back, love this place.

Yelp
Are you looking for a good brunch place? This is one of my favorites they usually have a Dj for brunch so you get to hear good music while you enjoy your food. They have I love the art work they have to honor different music legends. The service is pretty good I have never had any issues here. If you are looking for a mature crowd come here! Get the mimosa tower and thank me later!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was dimly lit and had a romantic feel. Nothing on the inside caught my eye to make it stand out. The food and drinks were ok. The service this night wasn't the best and the reason why I say that is because we were one out of three groups there and we had to wait a while for both our drinks and food. What made up for the night was the incredible company I was surrounded by. With the many places here in Houston to eat at this would not be a place I would recommend for a friend to visit. Again the food wasn't bad and neither were the drinks just with the amount of restaurants in the area this place just didn't stand out for me. Only it said live music would be playing but there was not. It did let us down but we did not let that ruin our night. On the deck there was a great area to take pictures and they have seating out there as well.

Yelp
I love feeling Phil & Derek's. I have been a patron of this restaurant since way before they were even at this location. Their food is authentic soul food that you can tell is made from the heart loaded with seasonings and lots of love. The portions are humongous and again you can taste flavor in everybody as if your grandmother made it for Sunday dinner. They are great for Sunday brunch they used to have a Sunday buffet that was out of this world I'm not sure if they're still having that after covid. Mac& Cheese - nothing fake here love it with lots of fresh cheese and made just the way grandmother would make it from a block of cheese LOL. No lacking of anything here definitely try it. Greens & cornbread - it's like having a holiday every day when you're eating here all of the side of in fixings you can imagine from Black eyed peas included you will find here. The fried chicken definitely appears as though it's fried in a cast iron skillet. This is not your typical deep fried chicken wings these are down home thoroughly crispy and breaded homemade chicken wings. The lobster and shrimp skewers oh my goodness there are no words your mouth is just thankful to you the very point that your taste buds start to explode with flavor and taste the grilling flavor behind it it's just an amazing experience you don't want to miss out on. Myah was my server and she was being trained. Just excellent even though she wasn't training she was just the sweetest very attentive at watching your drink get low and refilling without question asking if your food was okay, asking if you need anything else if there's anything she can get you and the place was packed. There was wait staff everywhere waiting to help you with anything you needed. Did I mention the entertainment?! Oh well there is before the live band starts at 8:00 there is music playing at a very upbeat of volume so there is definitely a vibe if you are looking to go here have some great libations and a wonderful time with your girlfriends or mate. The live bands and singing are always sensational and there is no way that you cannot dance in your seat and I can't see why most people wouldn't be on their feet as well. All around I enjoy this place for well over 10 years and I'm so thankful they have made it through all of the things that could have taken them down. Cheers to Phil & Derek's for a job well done for so many years.

Yelp
Reservations are highly recommended. We had a noon reservation on. Saturday. There were a few patrons, but people started coming in after we ordered. Our waitress was very attentive. There was a table time limit. They were able to give a great experience during that time, because service and food delivery were spot on. The menu has a Creole feel. There was a DJ on the stage playing the best mix of jams. The brunch mimosas were reasonably priced. I ordered the blackened catfish and shrimp with a side of collard greens. The main dish arrived without the shrimp. The waitress was apologetic and was able to return with the shrimp. Oh my goodness. The catfish and shrimp grits were a real delicacy. The crawfish étouffée drenched over the dish matched well with the catfish, shrimp and grits. The seasonings were delightful and well thought out. The creamy grits were made so well. The collard greens were tasty. I sampled the sweet cornbread. Cornbread isn't my favorite type of bread, but this was a delight. We weren't able to enjoy the patio area, because of the rainy weather, but we were able to step out there to see how neat it was. This is another spot I will add to my list of places to revisit. Great service. Great food. They earned every star.

Yelp
Had a Saturday night birthday party of 16 people. They took good care of us! They allowed me to bring in a cake and balloons earlier in the day & brought them out while we were there to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. For a party larger than 15 people, you must put down a $600 advance deposit which is applied to your bill and is the minimum spend for your group. They have an 1 check only policy for large groups so someone should be prepared to foot the bill & have the other party members pay them directly. There are ~ 60 seats in the place so our group of 15 plus another large party took up most of the space. The band was very good, it was Danielle Cellise & band. They did a great job playing current & past R&B. Throughout the night they gave multiple shoutouts to the people celebrating birthdays & anniversaries which made our birthday girl feel very special. The lights stayed pretty bright for night time. I was told they would go down later in the evening but they stayed the same from 7:30pm to10:00pm So sorry I can't recall our server's name. She was personable & attentive to our large group. The drinks were good. The Henney side car was alcohol forward & tasty as was the long island iced tea. One person thought the margarita was light on the alcohol, but everyone else seemed to like their drinks. On to the food: Blackened catfish. Cooked just right. Comes fried but they let me get it blackened Greens were good. Had a little subtle kick. More meat than I prefer so I was busy trying to find the greens but others may like the meat. Broccoli - nicely done with garlic & butter. Everyone in the group enjoyed their food. No complaints. I worked with Amy to make the group reservation. It took a few phone calls to finally connect with her. Once I got her number, I was able to text questions & receive answers. I recommend it for a group gathering!

Yelp
We went around 5pm on a Friday as they were preparing for an evening concert. The hostess informed our party of 3 that we can sit at the bar or be prepared to get up by 6:30p due to all tables being reserved for the concert. We opted for a table as we had more than enough time. Food: Waffle fries- they were over cooked. Tasted more like a chip. $7 Cajun Seafood pasta: good $28 Bayou Fried catfish, greens, rice and beans: all good $30 Vegetable Spring Rolls: the sauce they provide with the rolls was spicy and sweet very good. The rolls were edible nothing special. $10 Old Fashioned: Good $9. (Happy Hour Price) Service: OK They added a 20% gratuity for our party of 3! Overall we enjoyed ourselves. I heard great reviews. Now I can say I have my own experience. The staff were friendly and it was a family vibe. If you are looking for vegan options this is not the place false advertisement for that. The rolls and fries are cooked in the same grease as the other food.

Yelp
It's a nice brunch spot and good place to get some good soul food & drinks. It will be lively, but there's plenty of space and not crowded, which I appreciate. I also like the fact you can make reservations. We came on a Saturday night where they had live music in one area, and a DJ in another. Because it was date night for us and I really wanted to be able to drink, eat and chat - we opted for the area where the DJ was. Pros Good food Good drinks Great music Easy reservations Ample of space Cons It's a bit too loud where the live music. It's not a super large area so it doesn't have to be. I felt like the music was in my throat, and having a conversation is not possible Valet parking is available and not overly priced either. We paid $10. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
My friend and I arrived at Phil & Derek's for Saturday brunch on September 16th. They have a large parking lot with plenty of parking so that shouldn't be an issue. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated on the extensive patio area that can comfortably accommodate at least 100 people. We sat under the covered portion of the patio near the fans. VIBE (5/5): Live R&B music, DJ's, hookah, friendly staff, beautiful decor, what more can you ask for? FOOD (5/5): My friend and I both ordered the blackened catfish and grits with potatoes. Everything was seasoned and properly cooked. I highly recommend this dish. DRINKS (4/5): We both initially ordered individual mimosas, but the juice to champagne ratio was slightly off, so we ordered a bottle of champagne so that we could make them ourselves (98% champagne and 2% juice) :) My overall rating of this restaurant is 5/5. The staff is friendly, no wait time, great music and amazing food. Take my word for it and go check them out for yourself.

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary brunch, and left satisfied and filled with love. Decided to try the crawfish etouffé, it had a great cajun blend, burst of flavor, and so well done when paired with rice. We also got the shrimp and grits and it was a MUST TRY. The staff was so nice and welcoming, it was great classics playing, and the overall ambiance was great. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
The good: It wasnt really anybody in there so the wait wasn't too long for food. It looked clean overall. The bad: the food wasn't what I expected for the price point. We got the grilled pork chops w/ broccoli rice casserole, D Moye and added a side of cornbread and a side of red beans and rice. Everything w/ auto gratuity was around $120. Now for that price I expect flavor and juiciness. The D'Moye was cool but the pork chops lacked any salt or seasoning. Seemed they only grilled it and you just taste the char. And it was kinda dry. Since the pork chops lacked flavor and tenderness I guess since you get 2 for $30 make up a little so at least you will be full. Avoid the casserole. It was velveeta cheese mixed with steamed broccoli and rice poured into a small cast iron skillet. It was gummy and weird. The red beans and rice were dry and mushy. Had no gravy/juice to it. Just dry beans and dry rice. Idk, I guess it was exactly what it stated....not the kind of red beans and rice I'm sure you're looking for. But do get the cornbread..sweet and delicious. They def need to work on food presentation to match their prices. Overall: pork chops 4/10 maybe better if they were fried. D Moye 6/10 Broccoli and rice casserole 1/10 Red beans and rice 4/10 Cornbread 10/10

Yelp
I saw this place on tiktok. It's definitely an older vibe. My man and I came here for date night. The food was so good! I had lamb chops and my boyfriend had oxtails. The drinks were good too. A photographer came to take our pics. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Best part of all was the live music. I would go back again.

Yelp
This place is an entertainment hub with very good food. It has an interesting set up with the business split into two concepts. Phil and Derek has separate entrances one for the restaurant another for the lounge next door. My last visit was for a birthday party with 17 participants. The staff and management were excellent with handling our seating showing flexibility with our group bringing in cake and decorations. Everyone ordered from the menu and the food arrived in an expected timeframe and it was very good. I had Red Fish with red beans and rice. The fish was excellent but the beans and rice could have had more flavor for my taste. They had live entertainment which was a treat, excellent music in a relaxed environment. My most recent visit was my second and have not been disappointed and don't expect to be.

Yelp
Great date night Friday nights is live music. food and drinks are Spot On. The best grits and shrimp in town. Shrimp and fries very tasty. Steaks served in a small skillet. Cocktail drinks are spot on.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
When I tell you the vibe was unmatched, I mean it! We came for live music and the singer they had for the night was really good and had the crowd feeling the music all night! Iamkiland.com was well worth the visit. He shouted out all the birthday babies and we all enjoyed our night.
google avatar

Desiree R.

Yelp
This place is on average an older crowd. The live music is great! I'd say if you're looking to have a date here, however, stick to outside sitting. The music is simply too loud to have a conversation. My man and I went for a romantic anniversary dinner and we asked to switch to outside sitting just to hear each other. The sitting outside is also larger and they have a cute turf area. The food is average, not the best but still pretty good. They often have specials and the drinks are strong! The parking is valet. Overall, I'd come back for a show and some drinks.

Yelp
OMGEEEEE!!!! So excited A whole vibe Ok Houston... Sunday Brunch at Phil & Derek's was really what I've been looking for Pulled up and was like.. hmmm Walked in and the music and welcoming spirit sold me Note the plan was taste a few things and move on to the next project But the music, dranks and food was so good I couldn't leave The staff was really nice and everyone pitched in to make the flow of things pleasant I can't wait to return and enjoy them in the summer time

Yelp
Nice cozy place to get out and hear some good music on a Friday night. Dress up or dress down ( just look cute) , meet some new and old friends. Service was good, drinks are basic, food is nice. They have live music and weekend brunch. Sit inside or outside on the patio , it's comfortable and entertaining in either area. They offer valet parking or you can easily find a spot on the street. Expect a nice mature crowd, good vibes and good music

Yelp
Absolutely would never recommend. Parking terrible...The food was sub-par, tables sticky & service terrible. I will never return

Yelp
Our party of 6 booked reservations for Saturday brunch at Phil & Derek's. We were visiting from Atlanta and wanted to experience some real Texas southern hospitality. Phil & Derek's did not disappoint. The dining room space is small but beautiful. We were seated immediately. We enjoyed watching all our fav football games while eating and listening to great hip hop/R&B music. The DJ was excellent! Our group ordered several different dishes and loved them all. Our favs were the chicken and waffles, fish and grits and lobster and waffles. We loved the mimosa tower concept. They let you pick your chaser (orange juice, pineapple, etc.) and they mix it with Grey Goose and champagne. Everyone loved it!! Our server Natasha was awesome. After eating we ordered hookah and finished up the tower. Wonderful experience!
google avatar

Tymecka S.

Yelp
The service was great so I wanted to like this place but the food fell flat. The only thing tasty was the egg rolls.
google avatar

Aisha P.

Yelp
The venue itself was cute! The vibe was dope! There was a DJ, everyone was welcoming!Good customer service, buttttt messing up chicken and waffles is beyond me!!! When they placed my plate down I could tell nothing was fresh. Everyone else food had beautiful steam rising from it mine looked like it was sitting under the heat lamp tooooooo long!!! The wings were super dark! I knew immediately they were cooked in old grease. I still tried it.... Boom, I was right chicken was not hot and had the old grease taste! I notified the waiter he took my plate and brought me back the waffle and stated it was fresh. No sir! Not at alllllllll it was the same exact waffle and AGAIN not even warm!!!!! Did not even offer to remake my chicken. Which is what I thought was taking place! The ONLY reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because it was the waiters first day and he was nervous so he seemed not to know what questions to ask to accommodate me. Also my drink was bomb! Otherwise they would've received 1 star.... Left here hungry after $35!

Yelp
Visit March 1,2024- Friend from the east coast stopped in Houston with an 8 hour layover on her way to Australia. Wanted to have her experience some local black owned restaurant flair. Unfortunately I haven't stayed in the know and haven't been to Phil & Derek's in three years. The atmosphere is dark, walls and ceiling. The music was so loud at 11am that conversation was difficult. Service was friendly, considering we were the first patrons we got plenty of attention. We both ordered the chicken and waffles. They were the worst either of us had ever had. The waffle was so dense it was as though extra flour had been poured into the batter and the chicken had no seasoning. As I stated, I'd been to P&Ds before and had had great food and experience, so this visit was surprising and left me apologizing to my friend for making a poor choice. I did not know about the change in management when I chose them and can only guess this was the reason for the change in food preparation. Could it have been an off day, possibly. Would I recommend them, unfortunately not.
google avatar

Harvey J.

Yelp
Food wasn't that good. Ordered the blackened catfish/shrimp and grits (adding shrimp is $4 extra) And they only give you half of a catfish Vs when you just get catfish and grits. Manager Mary didn't help the situation after admitting they didn't explain the menu
google avatar

Jordansmommy C.

Yelp
Grown up! Great drinks, food is delicious, live band on one side DJ on other side. Perfect place if you enjoy music and wan to go out to have a good time!!

Yelp
I came to Phil & Derek's during a weekend trip to Houston. I saw plenty of reviews and wanted to check it out for myself. I came on a Sunday for brunch and ordered the shrimp and grits and the voodoo egg rolls. I wasn't a fan of grits prior to coming here but their shrimp and grits made me a believer. The food in general was good. The ambiance was okay and the music was good.
google avatar

Chester B.

Yelp
My daughter recommended displays to go for dinner and listen to some live music. Had a great time. Enjoy the atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the band was great too. A must try if you haven't.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently went back to Phil and Derek's, but it wasn't exactly the popular spot it used to be. I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely delicious. This restaurant has been around for awhile and I didn't remember the food being so good! I'm sure you're wondering why I only gave them a 3, the crowd and vibe just wasn't as fun. We went for a birthday brunch and although the music was good the restaurant was a little empty. We ate our food and moved to the next spot.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited this restaurant in downtown Houston. It was my first time going. So I give my honest transparent review. Pro 1. I was seated with no issues PRO.. Live music was awesome..!!! Con 2. A server came by about 8 minutes after I was seated Pro 3. He took drink order, but it took over 15 minutes for drinks to be served Con 4. Took food order and it took about hour for to arrive. The food I would give 3 1/2 stars CON 5. Server was slow and smelled like marijuana CON 6. Server somehow lost / stole my credit card that I had to cancel on the spot CON 7. MANAGER did seem to bothered that the sever wasn't urgently searching my card. It was like he was in on it.
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
Say us down, didn't come back for 20 min. Took our order, came back 20 min later to tell us the kitchen was closed. Slow on water refills. Brought me someone else's food. Same thing I ordered. Wrong appetizer. Waited on my food for a total of 1 hr. The only reason why I didn't leave was because the person driving wanted to stay. 130 for some mediocre food and terrible service. The should be ashamed of themselves . I feel like I was robbed

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday, had Turkey Mac w/greens. Friend had the Turkey Leg. Food is so good! Drinks also great. There is music & hookah...very much a vibe. HH starts at noon Mon - Fri!

Yelp
Nice happy hour environment; friendly staff. Drinks and food are really good. Love music on Thursday nights is a plus a well.

Yelp
The service was so kind and made you feel like family. The vibes were vibing for brunch. They had a dj doing a fun set. The food was sauced and savory.

Yelp
I went to Phil and Derek restaurant on Wednesday Night. As soon as I arrived, I was hit up with a $ 10.00 fee to park my car. My wife and I ordered dinner. The food was okay. It was very greasy. The service was NOT professional. I was automatically charged 20% tip to the bill. WHY?? I will not go back to Phil & Derek's Restautant again ! Lloyd & Arlene Brown

Yelp
Visiting Texas so of course I got on Yelp to help me find places to eat. I was in the area of Phil & Derek's so I decided to try it. I went on a Sunday so I'm not sure if parking is free during the week but we paid $10 to park in their very small lot in a plaza. When we were driving to the area I joined the waitlist that they have on Yelp and upon entering and letting the host know she told me that the waitlist option doesn't work (not sure if it was down for the day or if it's permanently down). We were seated right away and the atmosphere was great!! Great music playing as well.. Our waitress was a nice woman named Adrian, she took our order and the food came out extremely fast. She never checked on us again and when she did it was because we stopped her to order more water. The food was good, I'm a huge lobster fan and it was fried to perfection. The waffle was good as well. I tried the shrimp and grits and it was very flavorful, none of us had any food complaints. The lemonade was horrible- I wouldn't recommend it. I would go back again because the atmosphere was so amazing.

Yelp
I visited Phil and Derek for their reopening day on a Saturday. It was my birthday celebration. This is my second time visiting this establishment. I made a reservation for 2 and upon arriving I met 2 ladies who did not have a reservation so I asked for a table of 4 to ensure they had a table. The two hosts were friendly and gave the best service. I wish I had their names because they were so sweet. I was disappointed to see their was no live band. They had a DJ who played some good songs but I was looking for a different type of vibe. Let's go back to service. Just know they only do one check per table. We had to talk to the manager because of you remember I was seated with 2 strangers. I don't like the one check thing at all but I went with my close girlfriend so it was fine they split our check into 2 checks for our table of 4. They also include gratuity in your check which I think is ridiculous. I always tip but you know when it's included you get subpar service snd that is what our waitress gave. She started off great but lacked emotional intelligence and when given feedback about her service from the manager she never returned to our table for the rest of the night. We had to ask for someone else to be assigned. It appears they need training. The lady who took over was so amazing but I forgot her name to give her credit. The manager did comp me a drink after they ruined my birthday experience. There was no comp on our overall bill. I'd give them one more chance before I write them off completely but I expected more.

Yelp
The jazz set is always amazing all of the appetizers are so good. My favorite is the crawfish dip! Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best days to go!

Yelp
We went here for my birthday on a Monday night. We made a reservation and were seated very close to the band. The ambiance was nice and the bass band was fantastic! They were very engaging and sounded amazing! Our server was good and friendly. She did get busy and a drink order was missed but we reminded her and it came right out. Now the food...10/10 would recommend! The greens were seasoned to perfection with turkey meat and no pork. The yams and cornbread were amazing! The fried chicken and fried fish were crispy and cooked perfectly! We didn't really get any pictures of the food because we were having suck a good time and devoured it as soon as it hit the table! We will definitely be back! Everyone in my party enjoyed themselves and loved the food!

Yelp
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! Waited two hours before our waitress came to take our food or drink orders. When it came to serving the food.. it came before we ever got our drinks (which was were cokes and lemonade). My chicken tasted like it was fried in old grease and my waffle was not tasty. Another friend at the table pork chop was pink. I also had a bug in my water. When I shared the information with the waitress she never responded with a new drink she just said "okay". It is sad because 90% of our table didn't eat because of the food lacking what we would express as quality. thought I would've had a better experience than the one I have experienced. The only good thing is that the executive chef and manager Kenneth came over to try to compensate for the food not being up to par. I'm hoping I just caught the establishment on the wrong day. This facility has the potential of being great.

Yelp
I've been coming gif years even when they were in a much smaller spot. I met up with a friend we had drinks and dinner. They have live music on one side and dj on the other. I was on the dj side eating but you could get food on either side. Food was good I always love coming to this establishment.

Yelp
I always enjoy my time in my food when I come to Phil and Derek's . When people are visiting from out of town, make sure to include this price on my list of places they should try. I especially enjoy the weekends, and the days when they have live music. The last time I came I had that to do eggrolls as well as the seafood process and I enjoyed both of those menu items.

Yelp
When we walked in we were greeted. Nice vibe. customer service when we were seated wasn't the best. Had to keep reminding waiter of things that we asked for(never got our mimosas). I order deviled eggs(very delicious) Cesar salad with grilled shrimp (good) my bf got the bayou shrimp and catfish (he stated it had no taste to it, very bland) he even ordered the fried wings and fries. Wings were unseasoned. And the tip was added and it was only two of us. It wasn't worth the total won't be going back.

Yelp
I was a first timer at Phil & Derek's. Overall my experience was amazing and I was pleased with every dish I tried and hoped to come back. Like many restaurants, the parking is sparse. If you live close, I suggest ride sharing. If you can make a reservation before you go, I highly recommend it. Seating is very limited for parties. The music is great! They had a DJ when I was there and the vibes never stopped! Our waitress (sorry I cannot remember her name) was great! I asked her for recommendations and went with one of them. She recommended the brunch punch which is a rum-based drink. It was very nice so I had it twice and they did not skip on the alcohol! We had Voodoo Spring Rolls as an appetizer. The flavor did not disappoint. I would definitely get them again! As an entree I got the Blackened Shrimp and Grits. While I liked it, I would not get it again. My overall experience was great and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Sorry it took me a moment to post this... I have visited Phil & Derek's multiple times... afternoons and evenings (make a reservation if you want a guaranteed seat ) the food NEVER disappoints. They have good music (R&B mostly) playing during the day and sensational live artist some evenings. Next door use to be the comedy spot (it was/is nice too) I have to make this post about the most scrumptious catfish I've ever tasted. The crispy coating was on point! It gave way to tender and flavorful fish inside . I truly savored every bite and enjoyed the shrimp as well ( my husbands food but I ate his ) the other dish (sorry I forgot) was delicious as well. If you haven't visited please do yourself a favor and GO..... do KNOW they will add gratuity to large parties and they are not too expensive, but definitely not cheap.... Great for lunch dates or couples night out.

Yelp
This spot is BEYOND! We felt valued and special from start to finish! The vibe is super cozy and sexy! They had 90's and 00's R&B videos playing on the screen and that was fun! Our server was attentive and took care of us. I had the hot chicken and spinach dip and they were so yummy and the portions were a great size as well! I love this place it's perfect if you want a nice chill vibe and great food!

Yelp
One and Done My wife and I decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary by having brunch at P&D. We heard good things about the place. I can say we've done it once and that's it. The service was good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. She made sure we had what we needed. The ambiance is nice. P&D re-purposed a clothing retail spot into a nice place to dine and entertain. It is an urban spot at caterers well to the culture. The food is average. It is too pricey for the portion sizes. P&D leveraged their location to set price point. You pay for ambiance and being in an somewhat upscale environment. Now that we've done it we're done
