Its important to make an appointment online and read the requirements the Consulate gives. Once that's done, coming to the location in NYC seemed easy enough. About 15-20 min walk to / from Penn Station. I came on a Friday afternoon and was seen right away for my appointment for notary services. Make sure you understand how many copies you need to bring of your document and copies of your ID. They have a copy machine on site and will cost $.25 per copy. Your Notarized/Consularized document will be ready by Monday for pickup. Or it can be mailed to you if you supply a prepaid envelope. Had a decent experience today. Its probably because it wasn't too busy for a Friday afternoon though.

Appointment for Passport renewal great website....nice lay out, fast, organized interface...happy for patients who were able to get an appointment. There seems to be no open slots in DC and NYC after 30 days? In fact there is no choice offered on the web page..it just shows no slots available. This is a testament to the Philippine governments efficiency, organization, and compassion in facilitating their citizens timely processing of travel documents. I am confident the consular staff and ambassador is doing everything they can to facilitate this process as evidenced by the fact that they don't really answer the phones and keep on directing you to the website w/o any open slots. Good to know that things remain consistent the.. pinoy way!

The concierge was very nice and courteous. The area clean. Social distancing is practice. Very organized especially when it's by appointment.

Yelp
Visited the Cultural Center for the Sanglikha Sanglahi group art exhibit 2022. The exhibition space is large, brightly illuminated, clean... very nice. The event itself was wonderful. So many talented artists showcasing select prices of their work. This event made for a fun evening.

Yelp
I was curious about this place that I often pass by and wanted to find out more, and it turns out the Philippine Center on Fifth Avenue houses the offices of the Philippine Mission to the United Nations, but the Center itself is more for the promotion the Philippines, and the Philippine culture, including encouraging foreign tourists to visit the Philippines.  The Center is not as a political arm of the Philippines per say. Unfortunately, I couldn't determine any upcoming events that may interest me or anyone wanting to visit the Philippines here. Maybe someone here should plan activities on a monthly basis such as audio video , artistic, or Philippine touring suggestions to get the public interested.
