I was thrilled to order from a minority-owned chocolatier. I had been gifted his chocolate once and enjoyed it so much. I ordered three boxes as thank-you presents to colleagues, and although I patiently called and emailed, I did not get a response. When he finally responded, he said that he was short-staffed and would have it out next week. Then, when it was not sent, I emailed again, and he said that he had been sick. This was four weeks into my order, so I requested a refund, which he agreed to provide. However, he did not send my refund. I went to my credit card company to ask them not to pay him and return my money, but I only received $200- $ 300 because he lied and told the credit card company that he had sent the chocolates. He is not to be trusted.
