"Baltimore-based Phillips Seafood & Steak opened its new Logan Circle restaurant to the public last night, bringing wood-fired meats and family-recipe crab cakes to 1460 P Street NW. During its first week of service, Phillips will open for dinner only at 5 p.m. Hours start at 11:30 a.m. this weekend. In addition to a raw bar and seafood towers, the opening dinner menu calls for snow crab leg steamers, lobster bisque, and whole bronzini. Seafood also makes its way into steak toppers — customers can add butter-poached lobster for $15 — and a side of crab fried rice." - Tierney Plumb

I came for restaurant week. All the restyles week options sounded good. For the appetizer, I got the lobster bisque which was good. For the entree I got the surf and turf which was steak and lobster and fried asparagus. The steak was very fatty which made it hard to cut and chew. I wouldn’t get the surf and turf again because of the steak. For dessert I got the vanilla bean cheesecake which was good. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

So I went here for a friends birthday/restaurant week on a Wednesday night with a group of like -10 people. I decided to get the Farm salad as the app and it was pretty good. Most people got the lobster bisque and loved it. I then go the black pepper chicken- which definitely hit the spot. And my final dish, by our servers recommendation, (her name was Jay and she was AMAZING), was the coconut cake. Shots were $9, not too bad. The food was all good- our entire party enjoyed themselves. Jay was great with us and handled our party very professionally. I know it can hard to attend yo groups but she made it work. Definitely would come here again.

Come Wednesday's for the one dollar oysters!!! Good seafood. Service needs improvement. Conveniently located at the corner of 15th and P Streets Northwest. Entrees are a bit pricey. So choose wisely.

My sister and I came across this place while walking in the neighborhood near our hotel. The oysters were very fresh. We were also given the option of the Chef's special...a dry aged steak including a side for $40 ( we selected the crab fried rice...omg😍)... then added king crab. Steak was perfectly cooked and so buttery it melted in my mouth. Excellent portions... great indoor/outdoor flare on a beautiful D.C. day. The food was accompanied by impeccable service from Bradrick. He knew then menu, read his customers and had a very pleasant energy. That made the visit all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

This restuarant just recently opened in Northwest DC. I was definitely impressed by the quality of the drinks and dishes served on the dinner menu. I enjoyed oysters on the half shell, mussels, and my boyfriend had a burger. All of the dishes were fresh and delicious. The bartender was friendly and attentive even though it took longer than expected to be served initially. Overall, a great dining experience. We will definitely be returning again!

TIM WAS THE SERVER The food was mediocre. service terrible. It's food week they had a deal for 3 course meal so my friend and I each want to order different things so we could try it all. We got soup and salad as starters but as soon as the waiter Tim took our order after rushing us 3 times to see if we're ready to order after we said no to drinks his whole mood changed and we were rushed . I realize there is goat cheese on the salad which I cannot have and I asked him to just give me the soup instead. He said I've already put the order in why did you order that if you don't want it were you just playing games. I'm like no we wanted to have a variety.. and he litterally didn't change the order . I just pushed the salad away and told my friend it's okay I'm not eating it. He then says because I'm being nice tonight I'll get you a small side of soup.. umm excuse me no you should do it because of good customer service.. i will say this the peppered steak on rice was great my friend got the crab cake dish it was so tiny and had the same appitizer soul as a dip . He asked if we liked it or if I was trying to change my mind again... After all that he was very disinterested in us and We ran out of water and had to get a table clearer to get us some waters. Not worth the 80$ spent
