First time here Glory to Almighty God first on everything and for everyone.. Got here yesterday. There hospitality is great with no attitude from the door. Clean place up to par and help with what you need; according to hygiene products, underwear and with their personality. Thank Almighty God for a place like this and people - with respect still exist in humanity. Matthew 25; 36-38 amen

The city's most inadequate homeless shelter. No one should have to rest here with the lights illuminated all night and day. Lack of sleep is against the law. The management for Philly house is utterly ridiculous. Most employees lack the necessary skills and professionalism to operate the shelter effectively. This shelter ought to have been closed down months ago. I wouldn't suggest that anyone stay here for the night. 8-24-2025 5:22 PM

This place saved my life. It granted me a bed, a meal, a shower, and safety during a really cold winter. The spiritual care coordinator worked to get me into a job readiness program where I am working to get back on my feet. Everything that happened at Philly house was God intervening to save my life from perpetual homelessness and depression

Do not smoke in the building and wash your feet and shoes. Don't be stinky❗ The air conditioner works when it is not needed. The staff is excellent.

Let's begin with some positives, it's a pretty clean place to lay your head and safe as well. They provide meals and toiletries as needed and also have programs to help motivate and heal the mind. I want to single out particularly the poetry sessions that took place once a week. Very kind and endearing volunteers that came through for that. There was access to water all thru the night and access to laundry every week for free. Now some of the rules where a bit much. Only being able to smoke outside 3times a day at designated times or you were stuck outside until meal times. The staff for the most part were great! Very down to earth and respectful. Except for three key employees who seemed to give me the cold shoulder Everytime I needed something. For w.e reason I cannot speculate to that. One of the three refused to hear me out at all the one night I was late coming back from work do to the busses and my phone was off so I couldn't call. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say saying I had to come back in the morning. Where was I supposed to go? So I waited and then in the morning got my things and left because one of the other three I mentioned was the case manager, and he refused to help me with any of my requests up to that point. Not sure why, he just was not an accommodating person. So all in all it's a place to lay your head and to eat but if your looking for help or think you'll get a second chance should you be late your wrong. They treat you as more of a number then a person.
