Philly's Best

I have been here twice now and will be going back. Nice hot and fresh food, and delicious! Service was friendly and welcoming. Clean shop and tables (although no seating due to covid). And the use Amoroso bread! Yummy!!! Do stop in, you'll love it I promise!

The Food was Amazing, I'm from Philly and I felt like I was at home. I had the pepperoni cheesesteak and the chicken. The meat was nice and tender and well blended with the cheese.The Amoroso roll was nice and soft. The cheese fries 🍟 Was cheesy all over not just on top like some places. The customer services was friendly and very welcoming. Made me feel like I was at my neighborhood corner store and they knew me forever. Higley recommended 👌 👍 ❤

Philly’s Cheesesteak in Oakland, California No Way, SMH… must be a wannabe, LOL. Curiosity has a hold on me. I had to try it. Back in Philadelphia we are in the park sipping Ice tea and munching on a Cheesesteak on the legendary Amoroso rolls. Oh, so soft and fresh those was the good old days. Chicken Cheesesteak was not dripping with oil, not overly salty, melted cheese, roll not soggy, just right, the real deal. Yes, this is an Authentic Philly's Cheesesteak establishment, black owned it's Philly's Best. The ambiance is modern and clean.

This is legit one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had! Having grown up in Philly, I know a good cheesesteak. I typically won't order if I'm not in the city but the setup of this establishment resembled everything you might find in the tri-state. They even go the extra mile and ship in Tastycake treats as well Hank's beverages and Birch Beer. This is a one stop shop with a super friendly staff. I will definitely be coming here to get my Philly Cheesesteak fix.

So thankful to have some good food available before hitting the airport. This is an excellent philly's best location. Probably the cleanest restaurant in the area too. I thought everyone inside were very personable and nice. Pepper cheesecake with onions is my go to. Superbly executed. Great experience and I definitely plan to return.

Its black owned! Me and my mother went and enjoyed huge filling sandwiches, meat was tender well seasoned. Well be back

I feel this is a good down-home cooking food. It is a black-owned business from Philly. They usually have sports on the giant screen TV. The service is very friendly. I always get greeted with such warm smiles.

I came in today and started to order the Philly’s best the old lady at the register rolled her eyes and rudely said “with onions” I said whatever it comes with “well it doesn’t come with Onions” OK awkward and I just Nevermind and walked out. She has a serious attitude problem and doesn’t enjoy her job clearly I will not be coming back. Steaks are not that good too salty sloppy rushed and are overpriced.
