The only place in the area where you can find a legit North Jersey-style Sloppy Joe. Very reasonable pricing, especially considering the quality. Phil is a really nice dude and a pleasure to talk to. Support your local sandwich shop!

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, after researching places to go for a cheesesteak! After a little while I found Phil's, having some raving reviews, I decided to go. I ordered a cheese steak at the counter with hot peppers and onions, took a seat and it was delivered within minutes. That was delicious, one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a long while. I think what made it, was that fresh bread, oh so good! It was nice and hot and the perfect amount of meat and toppings. Excellent!! I believe it was Phil, the owner, in there taking my order and making the food. That was so cool to see, he really cares about his business! He was checking in on me after I ate and didn't forget my name after I informed him for my order, using it many more times after that. I can see how this would be a great place to stop in weekly if I lived in the area, it really feels like Phil cares about his business and customers. Feels like family in there! HIGHLY recommend Phil's!!

Great place for lunch started getting a crowd around 12 but the staff is clearly used to it and got through everyone quick. Has a seating area to eat. All the food looked amazing. I got an 8inch Italian hoagie was delicious & the burger and fries was a good size for the price and was very tasty. Unfortunatley I was only out here for work and don't live in the state but I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

I Love Phil’s!! The food is so fresh! The people are super friendly and get your orders out promptly. Out of all the local delis I could pick in Cherry Hill, NJ, I would definitely pick Phil’s for a great breakfast or lunch spot.

Never knew about this place, found it on GrubHub, and so glad I did! Everything was great! We will definitely be ordering here again! This lil hidden gem has one of the best Buffalo chicken salads I’ve had in a long time! I’m picky with my Buffalo salads and this one was perfect. (The chicken was good, no weird pieces, cut up small, had classic buffalo sauce, (not that sweet stuff other places use) perfect amount of sauce.. not too saucy or too dry) We also got the potato tots with cheese bacon and ranch. They were smothered in a generous amount of toppings, and even with the time included for the driver to pick up the order then drive 18+ minutes the tots where still crispy! Give this place a shot!

Found this place by accident. Went 3 days in a row and only stopped cause I wasn't in the area. The breakfast melt is insane and the homefries are more like fresh potato chips, which is cool spin. Overall food is outstanding. And I know it sounds silly but they know how to cook eggs properly...not brown and burnt like every bagel shop around. Give Phil's a try!

Nice place. Very busy, which doesn't leave time for niceties or conversation. Cool deli style place with ample seating. Initially, they couldn't locate my food. The cheesesteak was just ok.

We've been meaning to try Phil's deli for a while now and we're glad we finally did! We went around 2pm and ordered sandwiches. We only had to wait about 10 minutes or so for the sandwiches to be made. I had the Italian hoagie and my fiancé had one of their chicken hoagies. Both of our sandwiches had very fresh ingredients and were filled with an ample amount of meats and cheese. They have a very extensive menu and we look forward to coming back again and trying more items!

Came here for a breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed! Got a pork roll egg and cheese with some home fries. Lots of dining in seating which was nice. Enjoyed my sandwich but wish the fries were a little bit more cooked, they were a bit under but I love how you can tell they're fresh slices of potato. Will def be back!

we had a fabulous experience with Phil after calling numerous places in the area Phil was very accommodating and friendly. We were feeding a team of athletes and the food was awesome! We'll definitely order again from here and recommend to others.

I kept going by this place prior to running into work and finally decided to give it a try. Damn. It's so good. I'm a recent Philly transplant and as is expected I had my favorite cheesesteak places. Phil's exceeds anything I've had in ages. Delicious. Exactly perfect. Great roll. Perfect amount of cheese and steak. The rest of the menu is solid as well. Sandwiches are well packed and very good. To think I've been eating Wawa prior to this is very upsetting. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. Great place!

I ordered from Phils deli for the first time today although we live super close. We had a cheesesteak and had it via delivery. It was very solid, still warm and an easy process to order via yelp! Great first experience at Phil's Deli. Was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich on a Kaiser roll so I Yelped my way to Phil's. Super friendly service from the phone in order to walking out the door with my food. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese while my wife got the pork roll, egg and cheese. We added an order of home fries that reminded us of soft potato chips - sounds funny but we loved them! The sandwiches were hot, fresh and delicious. I will be back for sure.

absolutely love love love this place! i always have special instructions and they never disappoint! Have only had lunch a couple of times but now I look forward to trying their breakfast foods. Food is always so fresh and tasty.

What a man amazing hidden gem!! I have been driving by here for years and always saying I need to try there. I have been missing out!! I was craving a Turkey hoagie and this did not disappoint!! The roll was the absolute perfect combo of the crusty outer crunch with the soft melty bread. An amazing rainy day treat! I'll be back!

I went rogue and got Rick's Cheesesteak (at Phil's, danger danger) it comes with pepperoni and provolone!! The pepperoni was overpowering!! Good Cheesesteak! Nice place. It was Sunday morning, they either had a big rush or no one wanted to work Sunday morning because they were not amused by me. Pics on wall were 'best of' awards from 2013ish, ugh.

Their Buffalo chicken cheesesteak is amazing 10/10. Also their salad, add a scoop of chicken salad with the balsamic. 10/10. Portions are always good and the people there are always so kind

Such a great little deli/lunch spot. Great sandwiches, large portions, friendly staff, delicious fries (extra crispy), and a huge menu. I come here fairly often, Phil really knows what he's doing on the grill. So many options on bread/wraps/ rolls, any toppings you want, any type of sandwich or steak. Definitely a local favorite. I'm always running into locals there. Whether you sit and eat or call to pick up, it is absolutely worth the trip!

Passing by in the area, my husband and I stopped into Phil's wanting to try the cheesesteaks. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and my husband ordered the pizza steak along with fries to share. Order was made and ready for us in probably 5 minutes which was great because we were both starving. We were able to grab one of the picnic tables outside and enjoy our just made cheesesteaks. Bread was fresh and the fries were really good! Now I am wishing we lived closer so we could try more from the menu! Staff was friendly and masked; overall a quick on the road lunch stop for us.

Wha happened????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Ordered a pizza steak and a cheese steak hoagie there. Pizza steak had little to no sauce--no onions (as ordered). Limited amount of cheese. Cheesesteak hoagie was not much better. Both steaks had overly salted cheap meat. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only did take out but the Western BBQ burger was legit! Thick, juicy burger at a good price. The fries are the good kind too. Deep fried and crispy. Rest of the menu looked great too! Would highly recommend.

I love this place so much! I was visiting Jersey and I just had to have a local Deli sandwich. As soon as you walk in the door the staff is there to greet you and help you out. I ordered the Filler breakfast sandwich, home fries, and a pb&j shake and it was so good! I'm so happy we decided to stop and eat here.

We haven't had a bad meal/side from this place. It's amazing. A few favs are the chicken salad, Buffalo chicken wrap, breakfast burrito (veggie!), El Capitan, and New England clam chowder (seriously, even the soup is so good and I'm really picky with clam chowder). The fries are the best fries - hands down.

Ok I will give 2 stars only because the cookies are delicious and the service was friendly. I was coming from PA going to Shamong to visit my parents when I decided to stop and grab a few sandwiches, they were ready when I got there which was good and the staff was friendly. Sorry to say the hoagies had nothing in them NOTHING. The tomatoes seen better days and the onions were tasteless. Honestly the rolls were kinda hard but maybe that's how they were supposed to be. The Italian hoagie was lacking the most important ingredient, MEAT, well we tried Phil's and we will not be returning hopefully this review will help to maybe give this establishment a little more of a heavy hand in the meats and salads it was also not cheap AT ALL. I do not mind paying for GOOD food but that was a major let down.

Great local place to stop for a bite. Had some buffalo chicken tenders tonight which were cooked perfectly with just the right spicy buffalo flavor. Portion is a good size for a reasonable price. Looking forward to trying other suggested items from my fellow yelpers.

I was craving a Philly cheesesteak but didn't want to drive to Philly (traffic and tolls). My wife suggested this neighborhood deli that is walking distance. We took a 15 min stroll and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. Lots of different varieties and friendly service. We went with the cheesesteak with peppers and onions and it was delicious. Only recommendation would be for the workers to wear masks.

I love everything about this place so far. Craving: cheesesteak. I got the 8", lots of meat, melty cheese and added fried onions. It hit the spot, filled me up and I had leftover for the next day. He got a very tasty turkey sando called "The Bob" and again enough for dinner and leftovers for the next day. We also got cheese fries, because sometimes you just have to. The fries were good and I'm happy they put the Cheese whiz in a container instead of pouring over on top for take out. And lastly a Caesar salad. The greens were fresh and the dressing was tangy. They also had these huge cupcakes near the front counter that were tempting, but can't shove too may guilty pleasures into one night.

5++ stars! We have ordered multiple times and the sandwiches are the best! I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and the mushroom bacon burger! The rolls are always so fresh! When I tried a new item and it didn't turn out as expected- I still gave them a 5 star rating because it wasn't a major complaint. They contacted me right away to see how they could make it right! I LOVE this place!! Fresh food, awesome proportions and most importantly great customer service!

Good place. Stopped in to grab a Cheesesteak and Chix Cheesesteak takeout. Very fast.. and nice taste. Staff was nice as well. One thing that really stood out was the deli was extremely clean. I mean spotless and everything was super organized and neatly put away on shelves. Really nice deli. I will def return if I'm ever in the area again. Well done. #BuddhaReview

I love this place. To be honest, I rarely utilize the convenience store-esque section, though you can get bottled beverages and salty snacks as you'd expect, but the deli is what makes it special. Their sandwiches are ridiculous in the best way possible. For breakfast, I like The Filler, a monstrosity that lives up to its name (you won't have to eat for a while afterward, trust me) with egg, cheese, sausage, buffalo sauce, and probably something else that I'm forgetting. And the lunch ones get even more absurd. Off the top of my head, I know I've had the Kiki, the Heart Attack, and Rick's Cheesesteak - all great. And to be clear, they have plenty of more typical food items, for those who aren't as "adventurous" (or who wanna watch their cholesterol). Everything is always really well made. For example, they make a mean Buffalo Chicken Salad. And they take care of you when you're here - I once ordered Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks, which only exist on the menu as an ingredient on one of those crazy sandwiches. No problem! Another time, they took some party platters we gave them and sliced up some of their large subs for us when we told them we were having a party at our place. They've also got a nice soda fountain and excellent cookies next to the register. Everyone is always super helpful and friendly. What's not to like?

So I have been a few times to this Cherry Hill deli all with great success. Everybody is very nice and accommodating. Today was a quick breakfast of sausage egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll. It was delicious . Prices are great and you can take out or eat in. They also deliver via Grub Hub!! Go here!!

Ordered a ham and cheese hoagie to go. Great tasting ham. Good ratio of meat to bread and veggies to meat and bread. I will be back

I am so sad to give Phil's one star when I would like no stars at all. I gave this place a great review in the past on other social media. After today's visit, Sunday 10/7/18 I don't think I will ever set foot in this place again. So sorry for Phil because he seems to be a genuine business owner. On Sunday they close at 5. I walked in at 4:10 and what a mistake that was. I was given nothing but an attitude from the "girl" behind the deli counter. The "tough" girl with dark hair and the nose piercing who I never saw before was so rude to the point I wanted to walk out. However, someone she knows by name she was sure to put on her nice act for. So which is it, are you really a nice person or a phony? The other girl working there was sure to have every chair in the place up on the table before 4:20. What if I wanted something else? What if someone came in to eat there? As a matter of fact, someone did. When asked for here or to go, they hesitated and said to go. Only because of the hesitation when we made eye contact the person was quick to say, "I didn't really think here was an option at this point." YOU CLOSE AT 5 NOT 4! To sum this up, Phil and Ian who I always see in there were not there and I was completely in awe for the attitude from the two young women. I'd rather support local than big business and also living so close how could I not support Phil's? The food is always good but after this experience I am taken to social media so others are not treated this way. Leave when you see these two there and maybe Phil will see a pattern. I know that's what I will do. I will purposely go out of my way rather than give my business to someone who employs rude, lazy and selfish employees. My reasons for choice words are simple. Rude because I thought maybe it was just me and bad timing. So not the case because the only person that was treated like an actual customer was the only one they knew by name. There were others who came in after me. Lazy because the place was disgustingly filthy. Food on the floor, back door open allowing flies and who knows what else to come in and the floor was sticky. Sticky like an unattended public restroom. Selfish only due to the obvious. These two employees do not care about their employer enough to be actual employees who care. Sad but a pattern these days and why small businesses don't survive.

Sexyman and I visited Phil's Deli and Market to grab a quick breakfast before a day of fun activities. He's been there several times so he knew that this would be a good spot for us (he always chooses well...and in every way!). They offer extensive breakfast and deli items (including healthy options) and they have a good sized market inside also. You can purchase breads, canned goods, etc. Really convenient if you're out of something and you're in there picking up something to eat/drink. Killing two birds with one stone is the name of the game, people! I ordered The Diesel (egg whites, sauteed mushrooms, jalapenos, and gouda cheese on a whole wheat wrap). He ordered something similar but on whole wheat toast. I am still talking about that wrap and it's days later. I need to order it again for picture purposes. I ate it so fast that I actually surprised MYSELF. They have an area where you can dine in, watch the news and shoot the breeze with other customers, which is what we did. I hate to discount other Yelpers reviews, but giving one star due to the owner not wanting to heat up a can of off-the-shelf Progresso soup is ludicrous. I don't ask the cashiers at Rite Aid to wash my hair for me because they sell shampoo. Just saying. Any establishment that has a hands-on owner that genuinely cares about his business earns an extra star in my book. Phil is warm, welcoming, and he takes pride in his place. It was a pleasure to meet him last weekend. Support local businesses and give Phil's Deli and Market a try. Your local Wawa will be okay with it :)

My Italian roast beef was delicious. Crisp roll, fresh mozzarella and nice rare roast beef! The fries were golden and mozzarella sticks were crispy and fried to perfection. Never heard of this place before but I will definitely order from here again!

The chicken salad here is the best!!! I also enjoy their onion rings and sweet chili boneless wings. Only had good experiences here. Definitely one of my favorite food places around!

I had the crispy chicken salad and it was amazing ! The lettuce was crisp and not soggy and the croutons were to die for ! I also ordered a pastrami on toast . Kind of salty and skimpy on the meat for the price .

Got a four hoagies a salad and some Mac and cheese balls. Everything was yummy and way better than all the standard places. Good prices too so we will order from here instead of primos going forward.

Great specialty sandwiches in the Cherry Hill are. We ordered the El Capitan and the Heart attack sandwiches with a side of fried onions- that sauce with the fried onions was amazing! The sandwiches, perfect. A must for an indulgence, guys. Really.

Came here last December after seeing that they delivered. But then has to call to confirm that my work place was too far for delivery lol. Stopped by on the way to work and got the Filler which has pork roll, scrapple, bacon, eggs, sausage and American cheese. The only thing I maybe should of added was ham lol. It's pretty good with the buffalo sauce and nicely packed inside the kaiser bun. I'll have to stop in again since they have a lot of good looking items although traffic stinks in the morning on 70 lol

Quick, easy, tasty and the price of a right. I have zero complaints with Phil's Deli and Market. They do a great job!

I have never known a more perfect place to get food. Every time I go they make my order even tastier than before. If your a fan of good food you'll love It. But that's only half of what makes a grate place to eat, going in you can feel the warm caring atmosphere and tell they put thought into every pease of food.

Food is great, location is very clean, service was fast and excellent, and I witnessed the owner dealing with a difficult customer very well.

I have lived near this Deli a long time. However, today was the first visit ever. I was very pleased with the salad I ordered and most likely go back in the future. It was fresh and filling. Bacon bits were real bacon and the croutons were not like ones out of the box. Cannot stand that kind of crouton. The Turkey was Board Head and of course tasted great. I am just happy my first experience in so lonwent as well as it did. Do not miss this neighborhood location I have gone several times. Today wanted to try a homemade salad like Macaroni or Potato. Went with the Mac and it was great. Just the way I like it. Will be back for more. I tried to call and tell them how good but no one answered. So here it is. Loved it!!

Had a fantastic cheesesteak with onions and a good birch beer from the cooler. Good prices, too. When you're stuck in South Jersey for a funeral and can't make it to Pat's or Gino's, Phil's has you covered.

I always seem to eat and Yelp and the same time. Buffalo chicken bits are now stuck to my keyboard. Anyway. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the service and food at Phil's. I have gotten take out maybe 3 or 4 times, and they are always fast and delicious and it never feels like the food has been sitting out. The bread is so fresh and soft, the fillings are unique and of high quality. There are places in the area that deliver the same stuff for cheaper, but you can taste a difference in the food and the delivery. I would rate this 5 stars but the one sandwich I got didnt have that much chicken on it so it made me sad. Otherwise, I will keep coming back!
