The coffee here is fantastic. The Gingersnap is my top choice, full of rich flavor that still holds up even as the ice melts. Their drinks have great taste without being overpowering, and the staff are truly wonderful every time I stop in. A place I always enjoy visiting.

Always friendly service and delicious drinks. The staff is very accommodating and will gladly adjust your drink. The tiramisu drink is delicious! Nice outdoor seating as well.

I usually order through the app, which is super easy to use. Since it tends to get busy, I place my order ahead of time, and my coffee is usually ready when I arrive about 15 minutes later. Their coffee is on the stronger side, so I personally like ordering a lighter roast with plenty of milk and cream. Overall, a smooth and convenient experience.

5 stars to the nice, patient and helpful staffs! Like the young professional work-study vibe. Ordered a type of their dark coffee (don't remember the name), and was impressed by its unique novel favor and aroma. I just wish they used mugs instead of paper cups, since paper cups interfere with the coffee tastes a lot.

Great spot with ample seating and a cool vibe. Unlike other Philz coffee shops, the Sunnyvale one has great seating to enjoy a book or meet with the friend. The walls were decorated with art from Fremont high school - showcasing local flavor. I ordered a blueberry breeze coffee which was surprisingly yummy. I usually get the mint mojito but this flavor was a welcome change, The service was great. I will definitely visit again!

Fast and friendly service, plenty of seating, power outlets, and open wifi, making it a great place to work. And my usual favorite Iced Mint Mojito (always gets sweet & creamy) was delicious.

This is one of my favorite Philz location! Lots of great tables/seating for a variety of group sizes. ~My usual go-to drinks~ - Philtered Soul Cold Brew: This seems to be one of their most popular drinks and for good reason too! It's very smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness (w adjustable sweetness/cream level!) I usually get it medium sweetness and medium cream level, and it is perfect. The cold brew is not acidic and very smooth! - Honey Haze: I believe this uses the Philtered Soul Cold Brew and adds oat milk + honey as the sweetener! This drink is on the sweeter side, but if you prefer a sweet drink, this might be the drink for you! Personally, I like to order it at medium sweetness / medium cream level! Although I will note that even if you order the drink at the exact same level, the drink's sweetness seems to depend on the barista lol I'll order this at medium sweetness and I've gotten a completely different sweetness level depending on who/when I get this drink! ~Seating/Vibes~ Although, I personally like to come here to work, it is a slightly louder ambiance, so if you're looking for quieter cafe to work at, this might be not be the best place. There's quite a few tables/seating options both indoor and outdoor so I love that! I usually don't have any trouble finding a seat. ~Parking/Location~ Located in downtown Sunnyvale, there's quite a few public parking lots around! There's actually one right across the street that has EV charging stations (EVgo). There's also another underground parking lot nearby as well. It is also right across the street from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station. Overall, one of my fav Philz location and I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Plenty of parking across the street. Lovely patio space and indoor tables to enjoy a drink with friends. Service is friendly but very busy. So if you plan on ordering indoor, be prepared to wait. May be better to just order online then just pick up. The almond croissant with hot cocoa with almond milk was a great combo to have for breakfast.

My favorite coffee! Ordered online and the order was ready for pickup really quickly! And came in a secure carrying case so no spills during transport. Got the mint mojito iced coffee and mocha tesora iced coffee. Delicious.

Not sanitary. Use tong when warming baked goods please. Gloves on hands don't mean anything when you're touching register before handling foods.

Amazing tasting coffee just like normal. This location can get very busy on weekend mornings/early afternoon so expect to have to wait in line for a few minutes. My wife and I always share an Iced Honey Hazed, Creamy, Medium Sweetness, with Light Ice. Soooo good. I've also tried their sticky bun, which they will heat up for you, and a few types of their bagged beans which they will package up fresh on the spot if not already out in a bag on display. Not too much seating inside, but there's plenty to walk around nearby if you come on the Sunnyvale farmers market day!

Haven't had Philz in years and it was my first time at this location. It was just as good as I remembered! I ordered a Mint Mojito (sweet and creamy) and it was ready within minutes. Employees were speedy and friendly. Drink was fantastic and loved the creamy froth. The prices were fairly reasonable too. Good amount of tables to work at. It gets a little loud with the music playing and people talking, so just something to be aware of if you are concerned about noise level.

I would very much appreciate better descriptors for drinks or some standard built ones because if you aren't one to frequent Philz it is far too much decision making for a drink, even just a hot cocoa. Not knowing how sweet light vs medium is made it challenging to decide what to ask for, even though they offer to make adjustments. It probably would be hard to undo too sweet without just doing it over. It's was packed and noisy when our group of four went but we had pups so we had the quieter outside to enjoy. From ordering to calling out our names for drinks it was pretty fast considering how busy they were.

We saw that they have 2 new summer seasonal drinks so we just had to come by here to try the new drinks! The 2 seasonal drinks: -Sweet Harmony -Unity Cold Brew I ordered the Sweet Harmony and instantly this is now my fav drink. It tastes similar to their creamy Mint Mojito drink but with added cinnamon! Mmm... it was just a perfect drink on a hot sunny day. And good old Philz will donate 5% of sales to Point Foundation so every drink helps. This location is special because they have a big wall of money bills from different countries. It's really cool to look at these while waiting in line to order your drinks. *It's faster to order your drink on their Philz Coffee app or risk waiting for a long time for your drink.

Just ok. They told me "we dont do espressos" yet the description of coffees right by the register lists espresso. The cold-brew based latte I had was very good. It really tasted like some quality beans and process were deployed, and I def appreciate that. The pastries were hit and miss. The twice baked almost croissant was acceptable but not exceptional. The Pear kouign-amann was FAR better and highly recommended! The breakfast burrito was a passable, airport quality, microwaved affair. Overall, the lack of espresso is bothersome to me, so I probably wont go back but I can say this is as good or even slightly better coffee chain than Starbucks at similar prices.

Ordered on the Philz app and it says it will be done at 7:30am. Got there 7:40am to pick up the order from a "Celeste" and she hadn't even started the order yet. Stupidly we ordered on Uber Eats two days later and after waiting 1.5 hrs called the store and CELESTE AGAIN said that it was "really busy". 1.5 hrs for an order and not started yet? I've been at this Philz and there's NO WAY it's ever that busy. I'd have given her points saying she just screwed it up but I guess yeah, lean on the excuse that 1.5 hrs for coffee at a "busy" location being remotely normal. For reference, this location was only 2 miles away. PS: The Uber Eats guy arrived almost 2 WHOLE ASS HOURS later (Believe me we tried to cancel at the 1.5 hr Mark). See the pics for the melted coffee. That one on the left is a Mint Mojito. Have you ever seen one that sad and melted? If you're interested in one of these, order from this branch from their app or delivery and they'll be glad to screw the order for you.

I recently moved to Sunnyvale and I finally got to try this spot out, It's been on my go to list for at least 2 years! :) The people here are really friendly and patient I got a Mission cold brew with oat-milk with medium sugar. I like that they are patient with the orders, I don't like to have a coffee order rushed since I have a specific order. Good times! My Mom's idea for coffee and breakfast I thought the place was bigger than the average places that I have been, I like how there's lot's of space and everyone can kind of just chill and relax and do whatever in peace. :) Good place for chit and chat! hahaha Enso forever! Had to go to Sunnyvale and I had this coffee twice in one day. The first was the Mint mojito and they crushed it. In the afternoon I got an iced ecstatic and it was not the best. The location is banging out coffees left and right. I appreciate the effort and the flow. This location might need a few new chairs as well.

My go-to Philz Coffee drinks are the Tesora + Mint Mojito. Both blends are great for those who like creamy and sweet drinks! The Tesora has a slight caramel and vanilla flavor to it. The Mint Mojito is a great classic for those who like mint or are trying Philz for the first time. Parking may be pretty brutal when it's a busy time like the weekend.

Philz can be found pretty much near many Cal Train stations but this is my favorite since I live nearby and I've got to support Sunnyvale businesses. I love the smell of brewed coffee whenever I come in for my usual Turkish Mint coffee. Too bad the Philz app does not accru pts.

I got the philtered soul and sausage burrito here, and I was surprised by how affordable the burrito was as well as how delicious it was. It wasn't too large so it was the perfect size and definitely filling enough for a small meal! The space is large and there are many outlets so it was helpful to work remotely from this location. Additionally, the worker was super friendly!

Great coffee, never fails. I work across the street so this is my go to for a treat on Friday's when I need a pick me up. Service is fine, everyone's friendly. I find it strange they don't take cash though, I've never been to a coffee shop that is card only.

Ed made me a blueberry breeeze, and before I left he made sure I liked it. Literally this service is the reason why I'll choose Philz over any competitor. I hope I'm able to get him the next time I come in.

Met up with a friend here for a little coffee and some breakfast. The staff was friendly enough, and there was plenty of seating. I wasn't terribly impressed by the breakfast sandwich or my coffee, though. Have had better. Have had worse. It'll do if you're just looking for some coffee and a bite, but probably isn't going to blow you away.

Love Philz! My go to used to be the iced mint mojito, but I've been hooked on the Philtered Soul Cold Brew. Great location located right behind the Main Street in DT Sunnyvale. Their green chile burritos are yummy too!

Philz is a Bay Area staple for a reason, and always has very solid coffee. I ordered an Iced Mocha Tesoro, Sweet and Creamy which used to be my go-to back in the day but it was way sweeter and more chocolatey than I remember so next time I'd go light or medium on the sweetness. My friend ordered the Iced Coffee Rosé, which is definitely a more unique drink but I loved it and the subtle rose flavor. This Philz location has a different setup than some other ones, here you order at the register then pick up from the bar. At the Cupertino location you first order at the bar, then the barista lets you try your drink to ensure it's to your taste, then you pay. I think I prefer the Cupertino layout, but the Sunnyvale is more of a standard coffeeshop workflow.

Got some coffee with a friend in downtown Sunnyvale for a catch up conversation! The Philz here is across from the Murphy plaza and it's quite spacious inside and has a great outdoor seating area from tables and benches. It's packed for the morning rush around 11:30 am with lots of to go orders being made and customers trying to get their morning caffeine. I waited in line and it took about the staff member around 7 - 10 minutes to take my order since it was super busy for them. Waited for about another 10 - 15 minutes for my coffee. The vibes inside are busy and busting but great ambient lighting and space to sit down and do some work or talk with your coffee buddy. I got the dancing water since the name was pretty and had milk chocolate, grains, and nuts. Definitely watered down but still had flavor from those earthy notes that made the drink more savory than sweet. I would come again but order a different drink.

HIGHLIGHT: the Kouign-Amann will change your life! From the beginning I have been Philz loyal follower; before they opened in the Bay Area I would travel to SF for beans and Los Altos for a cup before my daughters Saturday Stanford soccer games. So, when they finally opened shop in downtown Sunnyvale you can imagine how much more of an addict I would become and still am ;-) From a lovely philtered soul cold brew to the rich depth Jacobs wonderbar or when I'm feeling naughty a extra creamy iced mint mojito are just one of my favorites. The Los Altos garden and outdoor mural setting of still one of my favorite shops to sit and stay while I sip and enjoy! A little hungry or wanting to indulge - the Kouign-Amann will change your life! Ask for it warm and eat it right away!

The attitude from a person who created our request was not kind. A customer took an order of mine and they had to remake it. However it was taking more time than necessary and when I asked what's the status of my order the individual making our order snapped at me and to said to just wait! And I quote : "just wait okay ?! It's coming!" Unbelievable. I will not state a name because I also work for customers and privacy is important but please be aware of certain folks and take note of any orders missing.

Happiness is getting a cup of Philz coffee and a pastry for breakfast to start your day. My favorite is Jacob's Wonderbar.

One of my friends local to the bay recommended that I try out Philz Coffee, so I checked out this location in Sunnyvale on a weekday morning. I didn't stay to long but I ordered their Iced Mint Mojito, and might I just say this drink was definitely different than any coffee I've had before. I don't know how to describe it, but the mint made the coffee taste like a whole other drink. It's not a bad thing and I still liked it, but it will take me some getting used to. Although I prefer going to small-owned coffee shops, I would come again to try the rest of their menu!

Ample seating and in downtown! There's indoor and outdoor seating, love the energy. Theres a work station table where people co-work, so this is a good place to work with internet and charging options. They have kinds of coffees you would have never heard of, so weird but so delicious. Most drinks are available in hot and cold versions both. Tried two drinks Mocha Tesora and Jacobs wonderbar. Jacobs was kind of okay, it was supposed to be chocolaty with flavour of fruits, i could get the fruits but there was nothing chocolaty about it. I loved the Mocha one. It will be perfect on a cold day (or a hot day, ask for a cold version, they usually serve both!).

I've been here 2 times to do work and I love how much seating there is. They have free wifi, outlets and indoor/outdoor seating. The wifi is strong and even works outside. However, keep in mind that the music can be loud depending on where you sit, so it's not optimal if you're taking any meetings or calls here. The interior is not the cleanest but it's not terrible. My favorite drinks to order are the Mint Mojito and Philtered Soul. Overall, I'd recommend coming here and it's in a convenient location in downtown Sunnyvale.

Avoid Jonathan- rude service and poor tasting coffee by him every time. The other employees are kind but for some reason, l always have a bad experience with him only. Recent example: He left out the mint in my mint mojito and when I asked him if he could add a mint on top he said "put the cup on the counter. Take off the lid" in a terse/rude tone. The coffee was also too creamy, I had to toss it out.

I'm embarrassed to say I just discovered Philz this year. But glad I did! A more customized refined take on everyday coffee that will certainly brighten your day! I love their flavors. Philtered Soul and Philharmonic are my favorites, both hot and cold versions. Got to try a couple more but these two are my staples. Their almond croissant is my go to pastry. It's toasty on the outside but soft on the inside. Bonus that they get your name right more often than the other coffee chain.

Where do I start!? This coffee chain is a vibe! The music selection is eclectic and welcoming to all ages. The coffees are sweet, creamy, energizing, and distinct from other chains -- I love the mint mojito and iced rose. The seating is great for setting up study/work spots, so much that I have made this my go-to study place. The service is great -- I am always greeted with a kind hello and asked to try the coffee to see if it is to my liking. Since I always get the house-style, which is sweet & creamy, I am always a happy camper. The almond croissant is chef kiss, especially when heated. They offer various muffins, breakfast burritos and sandwiches. My only gripe-- I wish they would bring back the avocado toast....

Philz is always a good place to grab either a coffee or tea beverage. It's best to order it ahead of time online to save time, and that's what we did. The place was pretty packed. I enjoyed my mint iced tea. It was definitely needed.

Excellent coffee in a cool atmosphere. Philz Coffee is the epitome of the college coffee experience. A cozy environment with lots of seating including tables with electric outlets means you can get a lot of work done while sipping on java. Philz has a nice variety of coffees that you'd expect from a staple cafe. Whether you like it hot or cold, dark or light, seasonal specialties or just straight americano, you'll find smooth, highly caffeinated drinks that can be customized to your preference. Philz also offers sugary baked goods to accompany your beverages and are great if you need a quick bite or a treat-your-self morning. Staff is efficient, getting drinks out fast, and patient in dealing with the sheer number of customized orders. Philz Coffee makes me wish I had one near my campus back when I was still in school.

This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, the line was at least 10 people long, but credit to the team for keeping it moving. There were no seats available inside, but plenty outside. They apologized for an expected 10 minute wait for coffee, and it was actually ready in 10 minutes, which was super impressive. I got the New Manhattan blend black, and while I'm not a huge fan of Philz coffee generally, it was as good as could be expected. Overall great service and fine coffee.

I loved working at this Philz! It was buzzing and every table was filled with people working. It is noisy in here, but still a great spot to settle down & power through. There's a parking lot across the street which tends to fill up around noon, but spots open up if you circle around for a few minutes. Otherwise, I recommend coming earlier in the morning or late afternoon :) I love Philz coffee so I have to recommend the iced Philharmonic extra creamy extra sweet with oat milk!

The good: I remember my Canadian cousin wanted to try Philz because he watched YouTube Emma Chamberlain drink there all of the time. There's a reason why this place is so popular. The drinks are delicious! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor space to sit, get work done or chat. The outdoor space has benches and tables and is very spacious. The inside has communal tables but also a few tables that seat around 4 people. They have a couch too. I ordered the iced rose latte, a drink I've had at their other location before, and enjoyed it on a hot day. I like that you can adjust the sweetness and I like how the coffee flavor shines thru. The drink was made quickly. The cup was a little over $5 (for the smallest size which is bigger than a Starbucks' tall). They offer three sizes. The bad: The bathroom could be cleaner. The interesting: They started in the bay area but they have a few locations out of state now! They also sell merch inside.

Friendly staff and quick service. I enjoyed my drink, the iced mint mojito latte. I asked for it less sweet and that's what I got! They were generous with the mint, which was a nice treat. The interior seems like a solid place to catch up with friends or get a work project done. There were a lot of outlets! I only wish the iced drinks came in plastic cups instead of paper.

We ordered drinks online while strolling along the streets of downtown Sunnyvale's farmers market on a Saturday morning. The quoted time was almost 40 minutes long, a bit longer than usual. This Philz location is pretty small compared to many others I've been to, but just as clean and inviting inside, with cool artwork of animal portraits and other colorful paintings on the walls. They have the typical indoor lounge seating, as well as a few outdoor tables and benches where we were able to enjoy our beverages. My iced mocha tesora wasn't made as consistent as I've gotten at other locations. It was lacking in chocolatey flavor, and even coffee flavor overall. It just tasted very watered down, before even adding the ice. It was a bit disappointing since Philz usually serves good drinks. Not sure if it's the location, or they just made a bad drink, either way I was not impressed.

Needed some pick me upper to get me through the day so I stopped by Philz. The coffee shop was spacious with seating available inside as well as out. There is a parking lot across from Philz, garage parking nearby and a few street parking. Even though there was a line in Philz it moved fairly quickly. There was a full staff behind the counter all busily working but still were very friendly. I ordered their famous Mint Mojito extra creamy and extra sweet. It was made perfectly but if you aren't satisfied with your drink you can always let them know.

This is the worse coffee place, they cancelled my order second before I arrived. I orders my stuff hours ahead of time to pick up. This place is unprofessional and I am boycotting Philz and will also have them taken off my company's vendor list.

Not always consistent but when they get it right it's good! I like trying their new flavors. Love the rose coffee and nice how you can do half caf!
