Service was great but the coffee was very bad. I was excited to try their featured creations and decided go for JACOB'S WONDERBAR Dark Chocolate Smoke, Subtle Fruit with oat milk. To my disappointment it was one of the worse coffees I’ve had so I threw it right after I had couple of sips of it

I decided to give this place a try after seeing lines form every morning on my way to the office. The decor and the vibe were pretty cool and the blends they have all look interesting. I ordered the Philharmonic and even though the flavor was ok, I wasn't impressed with the consistency of the coffee. Being an espresso guy I am used to something different but would like to come back and try one of the sandwiches or pastries.

Truly the best coffee I’ve had this year. Just a regular brewed coffee was a taste sensation here. Not cheap but wow what a difference from the other coffee shops in the district. You won’t be disappointed.

We had two Tesora coffees and the Philz iced tea. All were great. Gourmet stuff way better than most chain stores. The mint in the ice tea was very fresh and smelled great. I like my teas unsweetened and this one was perfect.

I tried Philz in the bay area once and was obsessed. I live in Chicago so it's been a struggle to live there without Philz. When I visited DC, naturally the first thing to do was go to Philz and I was not disappointed. The coffee is amazing, I always go with the tesoro mocha. Luckily, Philz is opening a branch in Chicago this summer and it's in my neighborhood. I'm never moving out.

Fantastic coffee, hand made one cup at a time. Tell them how much cream and sugar to add, and you’ll walk away happy. I recommend Philtered Soul, or Dancing Water if you’re in the mood for something lighter.

What a great find. This coffee shop has plenty of options and great tasting coffee. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the decor is cute. In addition to coffee they offer healthy food made-to order. While I was there they circulated brownie samples, which tasted good.

On a DC coffee trek and this is our only return place so far. Baristas walk you through the many handmade blends. Favorite so far Dancing Waters with heavy cream.
