This is a great experience if you are a pho lover like us! I had the vegan pho option (#9) and it blew my mind. I would like to come eat here at least once a week. Delicious music and food, the atmosphere is tranquile, and servers very attentive. Thank you Pho 14! 🤍✨

My coworkers and I came to eat yesterday at this restaurant, the food was pretty good the location was not that busy , they only had one server sitting , brining the plates and charging, we order our food and the server gave us our bill which was all together . We had calculated the tip and food and nice they upon bring up the price tip, by 1 dollar difference . I pay with my card and left since we were in a hurry. When I got home this morning I notice that the tip was different and he has added one more appetizer of crispy egg roll they we never order . Bellow is the final bill . Check your final bill for the tip change and the items you requested before paying the bill Notice the tip change . Advice check your bill at the end for small changes and added items that you did not ask for . Specially if your server is Anh-X . I don’t want to be that person but I hope it was only because he was busy and made a mistake and he was alone , but the restaurant was not that busy by the time we asked for the check .

The service was quick, nice, and friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered 2 different types of pho and both came out with large portions sizes and lots of flavor. This place is cheaper than a lot of other pho places but tastes better. We ordered some appetizers to share and they were all excellent. I can’t wait to come back.

We had rice noodles, chicken curry, fried rice, beef steak and thai tea. The food was good, but the portion was a bit small. pros: Delicious food, well ambience cons: the server was in a rush in a relatively empty restaurant, and he barely let us finish our orders! Also the facilities were a bit disappointing with no handwash and towels.

Google
I ordered the Vegan Pho which was really and different from traditional vegan Pho as it was made with apple broth. I really liked how it tasted including the vegetables and liked the lemongrass spicy sauce on the side with it. I'd definitely return here again. Update: I visited again with my mother recently. The Pho portion was nice. The broth wasn't as flavorful and this time I wasn't given any spicy sauce on the side. The key issue we had was the Veg curry. It was given on a plate and not a bowl. With very little curry and lots of boiled vegetables only. More so the rice was a little more on the raw side.

Google
The rice noodle was elastic, love the popping texture. The sauce for the spring rolls was too salty. The service was a little slow while foods came fast.

Google
Our go-to pho spot! One of the best in DC in our opinion. We always get the #4 and the broth is so rich in flavor.

Google
I heard that these guys have wine Best Pho every year since 2013, so I thought "They just be doing something right." and I had to try it. I'm so glad I did! The food is awesome, service is great. The staff is very polite. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I came across this restaurant when I stopped by to see one our consultants in the building. The pho here is fantastic! I've only been there once, but I will never forget the taste. I make really good pho. Coming from a Vietnamese girl, this has to be my favorite place for pho in the DMV. Great job, Pho 14!

Yelp
I had an appointment in DC at the Embassy of the Netherlands, and found cheap parking not too far away. Next door of the parking garage is Pho 14. Perfect for some lunch before my appointment. This location has plenty of seats and the service is friendly and fast. I went for a regular bowl, Pho number 10, all beef. Within no time the Pho was served. A tasty broth, with plenty of beef. Glad I found Pho 14 right by my destination.

Yelp
There is a reason this place is award winning. I tried Pho for the first time and I'm a fan. The service was okay, but the food was delicious. I ate the full regular size. So yummy! It's a cute quaint spot. I dined with a party of 5. It's near my job and I'll be going here for lunch frequently. It's right near Van Ness metro stop. If visiting, parking can be hard to come by in the immediate area.

Yelp
Yes! Best Ive had since LA's little Vietnam . Had the summer rolls and beefy Pho. Delicious with nice service.

Yelp
I ordered a few days ago and the broth smelled a little funny and tasted like bland soap but I ate it anyway, gave my food poisoning and Ive been in pain since :'(

Yelp

Yelp
Great place that serves amazing pho which is cooked for 14 hrs so amazing process! Rare eye round is the best!

Yelp
The ambiance of this restaurant on a cold day is unmatched. It's really cute and feels comfortable. The service was really good! We were seated immediately and it took maybe five minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive. Speaking of food, I ordered the pho with brisket in it. The brisket was yummy and not too chewy or overcooked. The broth of the pho was good but not great. It feels very safe and not as favorable as I've had before. Still, I think it's good for the price and just a good comfort meal. One thing that I did LOVE was their Thai tea. Absolutely fantastic. Edit: Second visit - Pho was much better today! I'm still going to keep the stars the same (4/5) but if it's as good as it was today on my third visit, then this place will definitely be 5/5. My friend got the vegan pho and she loved it.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Great food. Fast service. I go here often for lunch and they never miss the mark! 10/10!

Yelp
This place has no air conditioning. Waited in steaming hot room for a single bowl of rice noodles after placing my order for more than 30 min and NOTHING (food or waiter) came. It wasn't even half full, only one table ordered before me.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday early evening for a pre show dinner at UDC. Lots of seating available, I noticed many delivery/pick up orders during our meal. Service was pretty swift, despite the poor reviews I read! Everything was fresh and ample portions. Overall, a fine meal but nothing mind blowing. My dinning pal got a tofu bahn mi and I got a tofu vermicelli bowl. We shared the spring rolls that came with her sandwich meal.

Yelp
I stopped by at this lovely business some days ago. I was so happy to find a Pho spot that was still open over the weekend and fairly close to me. There was also some great street parking right in front and opposite the street so I snagged one. I came in to place an order in person, and had to wait for about 10-15 minutes for my order to be prepared. The pho broth was rich, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and well-balanced in the broth. The portion was also quite generous which I appreciated :) The staff was sweet and patient even when I took a few minutes to go through the menu and decide what to get, and I had forgot to ask for some sauce on the side but it was already included. Thanks so much for staying open and satisfying my cravings amid the pandemic!

Yelp
Wow! This is my first time eating their phô and it's AMAZING!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!! THE BEST PHO IN TOWN!! I got it to go, and it was still amazing!!!!! I'm coming back!!!!

Yelp
This is the closest pho place near me! Their pho is perfect on a rainy day! It's a bit pricy than what I'm used to, but it's DC. If you eat a lot, I would get the large, but the regular is a perfect size for me! They have pretty good quality meats and their pho is pretty solid. Would definitely recommend going here if you live near the area! I haven't tried the other dishes, but hope to come back here soon for some hot and delicious pho!

Tin T.

Yelp
Having previously been regulars, my wife and I thought it would be nice to bring my mother from out of town here for some pho on a cold night. The broth for all of our bowls had 0 flavor so it essentially tasted like hot water. I mentioned it to the staff, who even agreed (including the cook) and replied that they had "missed the mark"... of course before proceeding to charge me in full. I get it, I consumed a product, and I should pay for it. It just stings a bit when you know you're paying for a product that even the staff admits to screwing up. Don't think we'll be returning.

Yelp
Good pho cannot complain. I can smell the broth from outside. Yum! Had a com dish. Was pretty good.

Yelp
I am updating this review to five stars, having eaten here more than 40 times over the last four years. The food is consistently good, service is friendly, and it's good value for money.
google avatar

Kerri C.

Yelp
I've ordered from here a handful of times, and I'm still not sure if there is a different in the regular vs. large size pho, other than the price. With that said, this past time i ordered the large, there was't much chicken. i was quite disappointed. the soup tasted good though! inside the restaurant is decorated nicely, but as always i do take out!
google avatar

Yelp
I love pho, and I've eaten homemade all my life. Ive also had it all over the country and I've had it in Asia. I just moved to NW DC from NY, and this has got to be one of the best, if not the best pho broth I have ever had. This place is as authentic as it gets! When I dined in on a Sunday afternoon it was moderately busy, but the service was quick. The waiter was attentive. They had a lot of take out orders while I was there. I had the pho, summer rolls, and Thai Tea. Everything was good, but the Pho was phenomenal. The price was a little higher than I'm used too, but it was worth it. It had a nice homey feel to it. I will be coming back often!

Yelp
Our local go-to for Vietnamese comfort food. Simple and delicious pho in a welcoming, low-key setting.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
It's okay! The prices are decent, the food is good. My friend who ordered the pho thought it tasted alright. It's a convenient option if you want food right by Van Ness area. But I've definitely tried better pho places in the area. I ordered the Banh Mi but ... was a bit disappointed. I ordered the cured pork because I asked the waiter the difference between grilled pork and cured, and he said that the cured had some marinade on it. But I did not taste it and if anything it tasted like spam when I was expecting something not only tastier but also more hearty than a small slab of meat on my sandwich. :( The service was good though- the waitstaff was attentive and no problems there though. Again, good enough if you want convenience and just want an aight bowl of pho.

Yelp
I was eyeballing this joint all week from the Sitel center across the street. As I read the Yelp reviews I began salivating... just thinking about all those delicious meats and vegetables steeping in a pot of savory broth made me crazy. I finally skipped the provided free lunch at my course and ran across the street. Bear in mind that I had exactly 30 minutes to get my food and eat it. They took my order and I was out in less than 10 minutes. The menu was unassuming and straightforward. No extraneous random dishes. I got the spring rolls and the Pho Tai Chin (large). The spring rolls came with a perfect peanut sauce... they were delightful. The Pho broth was so hot I could barely hold the plastic container... which is the way it should be! I cannot stand it when they give you lukewarm broth. The meat needs to cook in the broth, not simply become warm. The round steak (Tai) was raw and the beef brisket (Chin) was well cooked so i of course out the Tai in first. It cooked perfectly. I then added the Chin and all the noodles/veggies. They give you more than enough of every option (bean sprouts, basil, onion, jalapeño pepper slices, and noodles) so you may not be able to fit everything in the container with the broth... so add the meat first and add the other stuff in portions as you eat. The sauce I added last. The Pho was fantastic. I don't know when I will next be in the area but I will absolutely come back here for lunch whenever I am.

Yelp
I was a regular at Pho 14 until tonight when I was eating my Pho Ga and found a disturbing and unpleasant surprise at the end of my bowl-- a piece of fingernail. Incredibly unsanitary. When I told the server, he also inspected it and came to the same conclusion as me. I wanted to throw up. I will not be returning.

Yelp
I live in Van Ness so I'm really glad to have a solid pho place in such close proximity. I ordered their vegetarian pho, which has a broth surprisingly made from apples. Their medium portion is enough to fill me up in one sitting but ordering a large would have enough for leftovers to take home for only a few dollars more. I think they have a good ratio of vegetables:noodles:broth and overall it is pretty good based on other pho I have had back in the SF Bay Area and around DC. I wish the broth was a little more strongly flavored but it's still good! I also feel that the price is very reasonable -- there's not many meals in DC that are priced under $15. Overall, it is a great option for getting your pho fix and has saved me when I've caught a cold or just needed a warm meal in the winter. I will continue to be a regular customer while I'm in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Yelp
Pho was really good! Got #10. Would recommend! The only negative thing was a thin little piece of metal that was in my fresh spring roll. But the waiter apologized, so it's okay.

Yelp
I visited this place with a friend, as she had deemed it one of her favorite spots in D.C.. I LOVE Pho so I was so excited to give this place a try. The food was pretty good and the ambiance is nice, but I get the impression that this place is understaffed. There was only one server and he was also the host. Nobody should have to keep up with that many people. He was very kind however one of the drinks i ordered didnt come until the check came. I ordered it at the start of the meal! And when I asked to send it back, because i was done with my food at that point, I was met with a little attitude. And you know what, I get it. They had him juggling WAYY too much! Also, the vegan pho definitely couldve used more seasoning.

Yelp
After hearing from a friend that this is their favorite pho spot in the DMV, my best friend and I decided to check it out on a chilly day! Because what's better than pho and spring rolls to melt your cold insides? Spring rolls We loved the spring rolls. You get two with an order. They had the perfect about of meat and veggie. We really wanted more of them but also didn't want to spoil our appetites before the main event! Pho I loved my pho #2, although I wanted more variety of meat. I'll have to try a different one next time! I had it both in-restaurant and to go. I preferred the in-restaurant version. The noodles were more fresh and the broth was rich and flavorful! The to-go version came out in 3 minutes, which was awesome, but my noodles were all stuck together by the time I got home. I had to literally cut them up with a spoon because chopsticks weren't cutting it. Service and Ambiance It was packed on a weeknight around 7pm. Not surprisingly, it was pretty slow to even put our orders in, but we weren't in a rush. One weird thing was that they forgot to get us our lime, sprouts and basil, and we had to ask for napkins and chopsticks/spoons. I assumed it had to do with them being swamped. Quick service at lunch. I did get my pho in under 5 minutes on a weekend around noon, and it was pretty quiet in there. Great service- all the servers were polite and helpful. Everything was clean and well-managed. Final Verdict: it was really good pho, especially the broth, although the noodles were kind of stuck together. I came back, so it's good, but I wouldn't say it's THE best pho I've had.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and it will be my last. Why? The food is terrible. They serve old food and just reheat it. I've never had vegetable fried rice that was so bad. They overcooked the egg rolls. Ended throwing out everything. Went to Viet Chopsticks for fried rice instead. Skip this place, the food is BAD! The service was friendly and welcoming but they need to start serving fresh food or hire new cooks.
google avatar

Dani P.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with a friend and my daughter. The space isn't big, but they were really accommodating when I pulled up with a stroller and shuffled some chairs around so that she'd fit beside me. I ordered the pho with tripe, because I'd odd and I like the texture. The smaller size is plenty for me. The broth was tasty, and it was quite filling. My friend got the pho ga (chicken), which seems to be her staple item here and highly recommended it. For both of us to enjoy our lunch it was less than $20 total, so a great deal in a city that can be expensive.
google avatar

Yelp
Pho w Chiken had may be 2oz of Chiken I ordered a larger bowl $9.99 and asked if the amount of meat is more ...I can't imagine the smaller one hAving any than?!! It was loaded w rice noodles .. thaTs all .. C mon 9.99 for a bowl of rice noodles ? And The broth ... The broth tasted good but c mon .. that was a bad move .. to save on the customers... don't think I will be back !

Yelp
Came here for late lunch and was a pleasant ambience. Ordered the fried egg roll. The egg roll looked like it had been fried in old oil. It was dark and too crispy like it had been fried second time or old.oil. It had a fishy taste prob from the oil. 3/10. I have gone there this week again Sept 16th. Must admit the Vege Phontasted good 6/10. Enough vege and big bowl

Omar M.

Yelp
I ordered Vietnam pho soup size regular and was disappointed at the size compared to other places which gives you a much bigger portion and quality at a better price than this place. Also, this place gets 0 stars if I had the button to choose so after a waitress gets disappointed to tell a customer to, "get out of here," in front of customers because he chooses not to tip. Waitress name is Anh X. Bad look
google avatar

Yelp
Yikes. I'm guessing the reviewers who rave about this place have not had the authentic Vietnamese immersion available in Falls Church VA among the multiple restaurants in Eden Center....I found the food and plating extremely dull. Literally no flavors other than the cheap sauces you can get at any grocery store to slather over the food. If I'm going out to eat I expect a little finesse in my cooking--something with marinades and grilling that I can't readily accomplish myself. Well, forget this place they fork out rice and vermicelli, top it with cut veggies, and plate it with sides of meat ...or in my case batter fried fish. Not really evidence of great cooking. Had to use a lot of sauce to even make the dry fish taste like something.... If the wait staff were not authentically Vietnamese and sweet to us I could have sworn the food could just as well have been plain ol average American kitchen attempting an Asian twist. Sad but the best ethnic restaurants are in the suburbs and you definitely get let down by these random mom and pop shops operating in Washington DC. Next time skip this and take yourself to Falls Church VA. Unless you are like I was- just stuck out in Van Ness and needing some dinner.
google avatar

Dominic T.

Yelp
Pho was below average, broth lacks flavor and I don't mean salt. Service was excellent, garden rolls were fresh, peanut sauce too salty. Having spent almost six years in Vietnam, I feel that the food here is very Americanized. I was hoping for more traditional food but didn't get it here in my opinion.
google avatar

Max B.

Yelp
This is the neighborhood pho place. My favorite part about Pho 14 is the tacky sign at the door, warning you that their pho is "extremely addictive." They also sport a clean, open kitchen with some tiki decorations, which is fun feature. Other than that, Pho 14 is your typical "East Asian Restaurant Starter Pack" with low lighting, sticky tables, and coke served in the can. I usually get the Pho with skirt steak and brisket and it get the job done; especially after a night of a little too much drinking. Making my dinner even better, is the friendly attentive staff. It's hard to go wrong with good service. If you're in the neighborhood craving pho, definitely go to Pho 14, because it's the only place.
google avatar

Dee Renè L.

Yelp
First time trying Pho. Flavors were fresh and the broth was light but I requested additional spice which helped to pick up the flavor a bit. Would def try again. Minus one star for customer service - I called ahead and they couldn't seem to find my order when I arrived. Turned out it was sitting on the counter for the entire time. Someone took the name down wrong or didn't check thoroughly.
google avatar

Lyndell W.

Yelp
Very, very good. I had the spring rolls, pho tai, and mango smoothie. Everything was superb!

M K.

Yelp
Waited almost an hour for food. Pho was bland, tasted like it was watered down or diluted. Bland pho is bad enough but the bowl also had a thin layer of yellowish fat. Disgusting. I guess this is what DC pho is all about. Competition is weak so this place wins random awards. If they were located in Rockville or Falls Church this place would go out of business.
google avatar

Bao T.

Yelp
Right down the street from my job, and everybody knows about it. The locals here say it's the best place to get pho in the area and I'd have to agree with that. There's not many pho places close but this location is very traditional. All the workers are Vietnamese and they know how it should be. I've had the pho here and it's pretty good. The broth actually stands out. I'd say you don't need any hoisin sauce or sriracha. Just enjoy it. I've also had their banh mi here and I'd say it's fair. Not the best but they sell it in a platter that comes with a side and a soup. Spring rolls are decent, but again not the best. Again, if you're in the mood for Vietnamese food, this is a great location to fulfill that craving. I've ordered for pick up here as well and they are always on time and super efficient. Just as good as sitting in.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
Pho 14 always serves a solidly delicious meal. I'm a fan of bun but their pho is delicious too. We usually order delivery - although it's just down the street - because it's healthy, fresh and fast. Eating there or delivery is met with kindness!
google avatar

Qian L.

Yelp
It's location is very easy to find and just next to the metro entrance. The soup noodles is tasty but will be better if have more meats in it.
google avatar

Libbie B.

Yelp
Good pho, and my husband enjoyed his bahn mi! Everyone ate everything with no leftovers, so perhaps some appetizers would have been good

The W.

Yelp
This is our neighborhood pho shop and we've loved it for years. But since the pandemic it has fallen way off. We had dinner there tonight and it will be the last time. The pho broth had no flavor, the server got our orders wrong, and seemed like he didn't want to serve us. The previous staff was so much better than this.
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
I frequent this place. Never crowded when I visit. Fast service. Decent pho. Only unpleasant experience I had that one time was when it took awhile for my soup to be served and I was the only one in the restaurant at the time. Oh well. Still coming back.

Nicolle Y.

Yelp
I thought the food was good and filling. I got pho and some Thai tea. The service was a little slow but we were in no rush so it didn't bother us :) we'll come back again!
google avatar

Wesley C.

Yelp
Decent pho. The broth is flavorful compared to other places. Great prices. The fried rice is great as well - fragrant aroma that is different from the typical fried rice you find although the rice can be a bit dry sometimes. Another dish I would recommend is the vermicelli with spring roll, chicken, seafood with a broth by the side. It's a great combination where you can taste the broth and have something else other than beef if you were to just for the pho on the menu.
google avatar

Olivia W.

Yelp
Tried their vegetarian pho and loved it. If you are vegetarian do try their vegetarian pho. Sliced tofu, shiitake mushrooms (yummy!!! It's not very common to see Shiitake mushrooms in veggie pho), broccoli. The soup is also delish! Highly recommended!

Justin B.

Yelp
Good was t very good, place was dirty. Got an appetizer and it was very small for the price. Soda cane in a can. Would not return.
