"Pho 14 keeps D.C. residents fueled with pho, while also serving up Vietnamese crepes, bun bo hue (spicy noodle soup) and more. Takeout and delivery info here through its website." - Missy Frederick

I overheard the waiter correcting customers trying to order in their best Vietnamese. It was awkward and unnecessary. They air in the place was also stale. No AC, no circulation. The pho ordering process was also strange. You pick a broth, a meat and toppings. This is not what people need. They want Chicken Pho or Pho Dac Biet and some other options. I’m not usually harsh on places, but I’m doing this so they improve and don’t go out of business.

Very tasty fake meat and tofu spicy soup! Definitely would recommend it was delicious! Fast and friendly service and cheap food! They helped me make the choice of my soup based on my taste and had lots of options for vegetarians! Come here!

Pho14 is my favorite beef pho in the city. This is one of Pho14's 4 locations in NW DC. The restaurant offers beef pho as well as chicken and vegetarian broth with many fresh toppings to choose from. I uploaded a picture of their spicy beef and pork lemongrass soup (can be ordered mild, hot or blazing). Do yourself a favor and try this if you want something flavorful and different.

Decent pho. I got the chicken broth and for my 4 toppings I chose chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, and carrots. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the bowl is actually filled almost 50% with thick noodles. I'm not used to that with Pho - the way I know it it's more a big pot of soup with some noodles, rather than a ton of noodles topped with broth and a couple veggies. (Maybe they make it the right/traditional way? No clue, just not my thing.) My waiter was good and friendly. BUT the bartender and a customer got into a heated exchange that eventually got pretty nasty. I kept waiting for someone on the waitstaff to diffuse the situation, but no one ever did. I ended up just scarfing down my food and got the heck out of there.

Coming from California, I'm looking for a taste of familiarity. Got my standard phở tái and my partner got bún chả giò. For a phở restaurant, the broth was average, a little bland for me. I was most disappointed by the rare beef that I paid an extra $1 for, but came out fully cooked and dry in the broth with not a single hint of red. Honestly the bún was better. I'll keep looking for my go-to for home away from home.

Great spot! I recommend the large number one. Pho is very delicious but not as filling as I wanted.

I was the very first customer in the restaurant. I had some time to kill and seemed as if every restaurant in Adams Morgan opened at 11am, so I decided to wait. I was 45 minutes early, but it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the vegetarian pho with broccoli and mushrooms with extra noodles. The broth was amazing!!! It was made from Fuji apples, so it was truly vegetarian. Many places will have the broth made with some animal ingredients and false advertise. I also added some chopped up ginger too because it was 28 degrees outside and I needed to warm up. The service was great as well. Thanh was very attentive, responsive, and helped me construct my meal, painlessly. The warm Vietnamese coffee was also a great addition. I will definitely visit this restaurant again, every time that I'm back in town. I highly recommend this place!
