Nikki Tran's 5 Favorite Places to Eat in Houston's Asiatown - AFAR

"Tucked into the Saigon-Houston Plaza on Bellaire with a modest storefront, this spot is best known for its bún bò huế — a thick rice noodle soup served in a savory, lemongrass-forward bone broth — which the chef considers a must-try and notes is more complex to make and more popular in Vietnam than pho." - Mae Hamilton

Best Pho Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"This family owned phở restaurant in Asiatown’s Kim Son Plaza serves up hearty bowls of beef and chicken soup with savory, fragrant broth and generous portions of protein. The phở nam cục has thick cut cubes of tender brisket that adds even more meaty flavor into the broth. Indulge, and order a side of bone marrow proteins (banh mi xi quach) with bread for dipping into the rich, unctuous goodness. Wash it all down with a nước mát, a refreshing basil seed drink." - Minh Truong

Google
The pho competition is very high, especially in Houston, but Pho 54 is probably one of the best ones I’ve had. Tip: Make sure to ask for fresh noodles! It doesn’t cost extra and I feel like they taste better. What stands out about Pho54 is the amount of meat they give. Many pho spots tend to give an average amount or skimp out but at Pho54, there’s plenty which I appreciate. The broth is pretty solid- maybe Pho Dien’s broth is slightly better but honestly, it’s pretty comparable. I also love how you can choose up to 4 different meats since I usually only like tripe, steak, brisket, and fatty brisket (not many pho spots have this combo and you’d usually have to get tendon with it). This is my go to spot for pho from now on!

Google
Pho 54 is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese pho. The service is quick and the staff are friendly, adding to the overall positive dining experience. One of my favorite dishes here is the special dried chicken pho. The boiled chicken is perfectly cooked with golden yellow skin and tender, juicy meat. The sauce poured over the dried pho noodles is incredibly delicious and complements the dish beautifully. If you're ever in Houston, you should definitely give it a try.

Google
Soup super rich, loved the bánh mì w bone marrow. Meat was so soft for nam and also oxtail.Noodles kinda iffy

Google
Pho54 is a hidden gem! The pho is absolutely incredible – the broth is rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. I tried the beef pho, dry chicken pho and spicy beef. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked! The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. This is definitely my new go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend!

Google
Overall I’d give this a 4.5 star review. The Pho had a nice flavor. They didn’t have an option for seafood pho for what I could see. I did like the option that you could customize your phone with the variety of different meat. The tables were clean, the bottles of Sriracha and hoisin sauce were full. We did arrive at 3 o’clock, so it wasn’t very busy on a Thursday afternoon in February. I’d recommend this Pho location and leave some time that you can explore the other stores in this area

Google
Pho 54 serves up a fantastic bowl of beef pho that feels like a warm hug in a bowl. The broth is deeply flavorful and has this great balance—rich, a little sweet, and packed with spices like star anise and cinnamon. They don’t skimp on the beef either; it’s tender and melts in your mouth, pairing perfectly with the chewy noodles. They give you a good amount of fresh toppings—basil, lime, sprouts, jalapenos—so you can customize each bite. It’s filling without being too heavy, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you’re craving real, satisfying pho, this is definitely the spot.

Google
Ordered the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and Pho Ga (chicken rice noodle soup). Generous portion especially for the meat and super tasty. Order the fresh Pho noodles that they make daily in house, it was top notch. Only complaint is the service/attitude from the staff was very apethetic and cold. Pretty common for a busy Asian place so if you don't mind that; great value for quality Vietnamese food.

Google
First time here. It’s like a neighborhood restaurant. They cook heartwarming food that warms your stomach and heart. The food was boiling hot and fresh. Just make sure it cools down before you start eating. I love the egg noodle, dry Pho with chicken, and the Bahn mi bread was really nice. Worth to visit.

Yelp
This will be my many many visits and the food so far has not been disappointed. Keep up the good work, the Boss lady is always very pleasant. The noodle soup is still very hot and tasty. I order some egg rolls. wings, and bone marrow soup as appetizer this time around the egg rolls was great. So keep up the good food and will visit more later.

Yelp
Given how well documented Pho 54 has been in blogs, videos, and social media, it might feel like a mainstay that's been around a while. The reality is that it's been a short handful of years for them, but they've clearly established a presence in a short amount of time due to their tasty fanfare worthy bun bo hue and pho. Kim Son Plaza is blessed to have them in the mix. They've done well maintaining the place with a modern and clean look. After a few years, even the sharpest places eventually have some wear and tear, but Pho 54 has done a nice job of keeping the place looking spiffy. The seating is ample, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean, and the general ambiance is ideal with a mixture of families, young and old, adventurous and curious. Their version of pho gets a big thumbs up. The broth is on point and the meat portions are excellent. Recently I enjoyed their dac biet, which came with very soft tendons, very fatty brisket, and a melt-in-your-mouth short rib. Bun bo hue was also very high up there, with a flavorful broth, and plenty of fixins for a hearty bowl. I don't think the latter is all that spicy but the overall makeup is good enough to make it a consistent go-to. Another pleasant surprise is how tasty their pho ga is, with a rich clear broth and nice chunks of chicken meat stewing in the bowl. Anyone who is looking to mix it up should try their xi quach (bone marrow) with a banh mi baguette it's the perfect fatty dip for a nice savory finish. Prices seem to be average at around $13 for a large bowl of pho or bun bo hue. Since the entire menu is dedicated to noodle soups, there really isn't much to order beyond cha gio and their canh ca chien (chicken wings). Service isn't terrible, but they're not particularly amazing either. I would consider coming here during the weeknights since the wait on the weekends can get long. Bring an appetite and a few hungry mouths to feed and make Pho 54 a must-try spot on the pho-itinerary.

Yelp
It's a big "WOW". I come in here with my friend. Was seated right away. Waitress was nice and attentive. I order B3 Bun Bo Hue Special (small $11.95 & large $12.95). What is different from the other Bun Bo Hue is they have the "steak slice". Everything in my bowl was "DELICIOUS". The broth was made perfectly. Definitely will come back and try other things if not the Bun Bo Hue is the best compare to other places. It's been awhile since I have had a good bowl of Bun Bo Hue.

Yelp
With the amount of food you're getting with the price, it may just be one of the better deals you can find for good Pho and in Houston Drinks are made by what I consider a Boba master. Highly recommend all around

Yelp
No wait on a weekday early lunch and seated immediately. Ordered a large pho w/tendon, fatty brisket, tripe for $12. Good amount of noodles and meat. Hot broth but a bit too bland for me. Got in and out; paid with credit card and no issues.

Yelp
This spot was more of a 3.5 star rating. But, I rounded up since there was good customer service here. The interior was pretty plain. However, there were ample tables and chairs. It also wasn't crowded on a weeknight. I was definitely craving pho, so I ordered the large pho with beef meatballs and lean steak. The bowl was big and there was plenty of broth. They were also generous with the veggies/herbs (e.g., basil, cilantro, and chiles). But, the rice noodles were kind of thin, and didn't taste like pho noodles. Yet, it was still pleasant to eat. They didn't skimp on the meatballs. I think there was a decent amount of lean steak underneath. Due to the OG sriracha shortage, this restaurant, like many others, had to provide alternative brand sriracha sauces. It was still ok when mixed in with the hoisin sauce in the pho. Their egg rolls were delicious, although not anything different than what I'd eat at other pho restaurants. I would say the same for their Thai tea drinks. I did appreciate that the food was affordable and was served quickly to our table. Overall, if I'm in the Kim Son complex area, I'd return here to get my pho fix.

Yelp
Came here with my roommate a few months ago to get some pho because we both wanted something comforting. I hadn't tried this place but heard about it from another person so I gave it a try. We were seated immediately and allowed to pick where we wanted to sit. After being given menus, the server walked away and never came back to us until we had to get someone's attention so we could order. Afterwards, the food came out fairly quickly but no water or utensils were given (my roommate asked for a fork and spoon). We weren't given water until I was practically done with my food when 2 cups of water were finally brought over to us (which I had asked when our food was brought out initially). I enjoyed my Pho overall. It has decent flavor and it looked like alot of people also came there to enjoy the food. I saw some small families with little kids ordering. I would say the place is alittle cramped but they're making due with the space that they have.

Yelp
First time visiting this place, although this place has been in the shopping center for a long time. I went on a Saturday afternoon so they were not busy. I ordered the basil seed with grass jelly drink, egg rolls, and the pho custom (fatty brisket, tendon, tripe, sliced steak). The drink was refreshing and delicious, although a little bit too sweet for me. Next time, I'll ask to see if they can reduce the sugar level. The egg rolls were crunchy and typical; but they were good. The pho was delicious - plenty of meat, delicious and fragrant broth that is not greasy. Service was quick and I got my food promptly after I ordered. The workers were responsive when I asked for water, more napkins, etc. Overall, a good visit and I will go back again to order other items on the menu.

Yelp
Exceptional food! So authentic and just down right good! I will be back again and again. Had the Won Ton Noodle bowl, the Beef Noodle soup and egg rolls. You should definitely try this casual dining place! So yummy!

Yelp
This is the pho place in the same plaza as Kim Son. It seems so small compared to the majestic Kim Son. For lunch on a week day, they were pretty busy. Parking is easy. There are so many spots. It had just rained, so there were huge puddles everywhere. I had to park farther from the restaurant. I got to try both pho and bun bo hue. I thought they were both pretty good. My eating partner said the bun bo hue might have had a bit too much fish sauce for his taste. You have to go up to pay at the register when you finish eating. They give you take out containers if you have leftovers. Service was eh. I thought the young girl either didn't understand us well or didn't speak English well.

Yelp
Great place for pho! We came here especially for the pho ga pho (fry chicken pho). It was delicious! I love the tender pieces of meat and the dipping sauce. You do get a side of pho broth in the side. We also had bun Bo hue (BBH) and pho bac biet. BBH was decent. There was plenty of beef and pork meats. The broth was a bit bland for me which can be fixed with shrimp pate and fish sauce. The pho dac biet was yummy with plenty of meat. Note: always order with your slice beef (tai) in the side. Highly recommend the dried chicken pho!

Yelp
Great service and really good bun Bo hue. Food came out quick. Cafe Su da was good too.

Yelp
I'm from New York, where a bowl of pho can cost up to $18-$20 now, but still be lacking. My family and I stopped by Pho 54 on a trip to Houston and was blown away by their pho bo (beef pho). First of all, the large was $12 and was PACKED with different cuts of beef and noodles. I couldn't even finish an entire bowl (on the other hand, one bowl isn't enough for me in NY). Service was also extremely friendly. We tried the spring rolls and a couple of drinks as well. I ordered a drink that needed improvement, hence the star reduction, but I'd return for pho in a heartbeat!!

Yelp
I LOVE pho 54. The item to get here is definitely the Pho ga kho (dry chicken pho)! Very delicious with vibrant flavors and you don't really find this dish done well at many places. It featured chewy noodles with well seasoned chicken and fresh herbs on top. I also love the Bahn Mi Xi Quach (bone marrow broth with baguette)-- very flavorful with a generous serving of bone marrow!! Pho 54 is one of my favorite pho places and I love recommending it to all of my Houston friends!

Yelp
Amazing amazing amazing. Want authentic Vietnamese bun bo hue or pho? Then you have found the restaurant! Ambience is laid back and clean. Food are AMAZING. Price are reasonable but considering how big and how much food you get with punches of the flavors of each dish, it's so worth it. Pho bo is a sweet beef bone broth so skip out on the sauces. Try the broth first! All I need was spicy homemade chili. Rau mau is also delicious so don't skip out on the drinks but if you're just a water person, no worries... it's filtered water, not tap salty water. Friendly staffs though expect to be left alone (typical for Asian laid back restaurant). The aunty (owner) is friendly and speak perfect English for those who doesn't speak Vietnamese. Don't be timid from coming to a Vietnamese restaurant, highly dense in a Vietnamese plaza. By the way, did I mention how amazing their bun Bo hue are? It's delicious, packed with the right amount of spice and flavor of how bun bo hue should be. After so many years, I finally found a restaurant with delicious bun bo hue to my Vietnamese-taste-bud-liking, who also give me enough side veggies to add to my soup. Tip: you pay at the register, cash and/or credit. You will be seated by a host and order at the table.

Yelp
Food: If you're a fan of healthy fats with a pack of flavor then get the baguette with bone marrow. Their specialty here is BBH - note that it isn't as spicy as it looks. I drank the whole broth. Service: great staff and attentive when whenever we needed something. Ambience: It's a tight spot with a combination of smaller tables. So if you come with an odd number keep in mind you'll likely be waiting for a few minutes.
google avatar

Yelp
Food came out pretty quick and service was good. They were very attentive. The bun Bo hue was good and they gives you a lot of meats. My husband had the dry noodle bowl and he enjoyed it. He said it was flavorful and very filling.

Alexus T.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had seen this place being mentioned a handful of times on Youtube, so we chose this place because we were looking for the best pho on our trip Houston. It was pretty good, and something I remember really well is that the broth was on the sweeter side, full of flavour!

Johnson V.

Yelp
Had their House Special Pho, P1. Broth wasn't as flavored and noodles were all broken. Looks like noodles were pre blanched and sat out too long.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves way more recognition. Although it's is a small to medium size restaurant, their pho and bun bo hue packs a punch. I have only come here on one occasion where it was busy (luckily there was no wait), so I am not able to speak on how that would work. I mention this because normally you can just walk in you'll be seated right away. There is no hostess, but this is typical of any Vietnamese restaurant. Cha Gio (5/5): Fried egg roll. One of the best I've ever had, as it is full of meat. Many restaurants like to pack their egg rolls with noodles/veggies, but this place loves their meat. Definitely a must-try as an appetizer. I love to wrap it with a lettuce wrap and dip it in their Nuoc Mam (fish sauce). Pho Ga Kho (5/5): Also known as dry chicken pho (small bowl of broth on the side). Very well seasoned with chewy noodles topped with fresh herbs/onions on top, boiled egg, and pieces of chicken! Beware of chicken bones! I was expecting something else, but this surpassed my expectations. The little bowl of broth was sufficient to satisfy my want of broth. Pho Duoi Bo (5/5): Also known as Pho with Oxtail. Yes, you heard it right... Oxtail, a delicacy! Their pho broth is well spiced and beefy. I find it very difficult to find a restaurant that makes delicious, "clean" broth. They do not skimp on the meat and noodes! Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet/Bun Bo Hue Duoi Bo (5/5): Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Special/Oxtail. Packed with umami flavor and actual spiciness. I love the taste of shrimp paste (even though it smells so bad). But its mixture with lemongrass and beef flavor makes this dish one of my favorites. The one thing that many places lack in their BBH is either flavor or spice, but Pho 54 does not disappoint. The people who work here are very friendly and attentive at refilling water. But that is not to say to expect a 5-star restaurant treatment. Overall, I give this place a 5/5.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Great service great food. My daughter had pho chicken and bun Bo. Tasty!! We also had the special che dessert drink. That was really refreshing and not too sweet.
google avatar

Son H.

Yelp
If you want really good and consistent pho, bun bo Hue, and other soupy Vietnamese dishes, this is the place to go. The place can get busy and service is unremarkable. The 5 stars is for food quality alone.
google avatar

Kannan H.

Yelp
The Phở and Bún Bò Huế are fantastic! This place was one of the first few Pho places I've tried when arriving in Houston. The service is fast and good. You can expect your dish to come out within 5-10 minutes.
google avatar

Karis L.

Yelp
Honestly, I'm not impressed. I wanted to like this place as it was recommended by a friend but the service wasn't great. The waitress got my order completely wrong, and when I told her when the food came out and she acknowledged it was wrong, she just kind of said "Oh...". Lol. When asked if I could get the right menu item I ordered she said no, and that they couldn't take it back. I'm just really confused on what kind of a restaurant does that when the mistake is very clearly on their behalf. Our table also asked for an extra side of Tripe and she came back with something completely different, but she did take that side dish back and come out with Tripe later on. What I ended up eating was alright, hence my one extra star I've added. I don't think I'm going to return.

Khoa V.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get chicken pho. The bun Bo hue is good as well. They also sell homemade Vietnamese snacks on the side.
google avatar

Diem P.

Yelp
I usually eat bun bo hue here...one of the best BBH around! But this time, I got the pho dac biet take out. No, they are lazy and packed raw meat. Their pho is super tasty - so much meat!!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
We wanted some great soup so we ordered pho. The beef cubed brisket pho had chewy meat and the broth was not to my liking. My wife asked for mixed white and dark chicken pho with no skin.....there was some skin and the chicken didn't taste very fresh, she didn't like the broth either. We thought the fried egg rolls were average.

Jyanzi K.

Yelp
Good food & service but poor Attitude At the cashier who Seems to make you unwelcome Again. Card machine not working so I have to pay cash.

Yelp
Om Wow, Pho 54 is a GEM, recommended by Yelp friend Tri D. (Thanks/Mahalo!) On our last day in Houston, we had to squeeze in this visit to Pho 54, luckily they open early at 9 am so we made a last stop before heading back to Dallas. I've never have Pho for breakfast or usually don't eat breakfast, but since I am on vacation, I had to accomodate and I am so glad I did. We were the first set of customers to enter Pho 54, & the final verdict: I am so happy to share that my party of 6 ENJOYED their pho @ Pho 54, super super tasty & authentic! Although Pho 54 has Bun Bo Hue, Everyone had pho of course, I got the Pho Ga Kho, which is the dry chicken pho with side of soup, first time trying this style of pho and I did enjoy it although I saw everyone's huge bowl of pho noodle soup and I wanted more broth since my bowl was small. Next time when I visit & already on my mind to visit soon, I am going to get chicken pho, I need to try that ghost pepper wings, just noticed it now. The soup broth is very flavorful and the chicken, Yums!! This is how chicken should taste like in pho, free range chicken. I could really taste the difference. I always order chicken pho, since I don't eat beef and I can't stand when the chicken is hard to chew. Everyone ( my siblings & mom) raved that their pho was yummy & Since I treated, I was happy to hear that. Service was great, both workers were friendly. Restaurant is on the smaller side but really nice, clean, and prices are so reasonable! FYI. Get the Dried shredded pork ($20.) for sale near cash register (cash only for this) I bought one and am enjoying it slowly with rice/rice soup, good comfort food. I regret not buying more. All in all, great pho enjoyed by all /Pho 54 is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants, that I will be back for! I am counting down the months til my vacay here again!

Yelp
I'm being nice by giving this place a one star. The food is decent. It's the service. I've never been to a place that asks you to pay in cash over a credit card. The lady (owner) repeatedly asks you to pay cash. If so, state that on your business! Put a sign or something on your counter or front door. She fakes it by telling customers that her machine is quote "not working". I DO NOT recommend this place. There's plenty of pho houses on Bellaire to go to. It's ridiculous that this repeatedly happens.
google avatar

TJ T.

Yelp
My go to place for BBH whenever I'm in town. The soup is to my taste, not too much noodles and decent amount of meat.
google avatar

Dean Y.

Yelp
We waited for at least 20 minutes before the waitress took our order and she was too busy cleaning other tables. Worst service ever at a Pho place. Also the pho was not all that great, the meat on the pho tai was not that soft and the broth was very dark. Definitely a let down.
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Went in from a recommendation. Plenty of seating. Weren't too many people when I went in at around 6 on a Saturday. I ordered a large P2 and it came out very fast with a large plate of fresh veggies. Pho was great not the best I've had but very solid. Broth was clean and not too salty good beef flavor. The meat was soft as well.

Taylor T.

Yelp
SO GOOD. No words, just love. I went here every day i was in Houston, it reminds me of my grandmas cooking! Love it

Yelp
Houston had one really cold day this winter. On that cold day, every hungry Asian went out in search of the best bowl of pho. I called my #1 spot, and they were out of all soup. I called my #2 spot, and the line was busy. After reading a ton of good things in an Asian Eats group, we decided to take our chances on Pho 54. The restaurant is well kept and clean; definitely not some stodgy hole in the wall. I'd heard some really great things about the bun bo hue, but when faced with a single winter's day, I'm going for pho. My bowl of beef cube pho came out piping hot. My side of bone marrow was filled to the brim with marrow and meat. The broth was seasoned so well, had excellent depth, and wasn't oily. No need to add sriracha or hoisin. The beef cubes were a game changer. They just fell apart in my mouth. To top it off, the egg rolls (cha gio) were so hot and tasty, and the limeade (soda chanh) was excellent - not too sweet or sour. Overall, the food is easily better than Pho Sapa across the street. Hopefully houston gets just one more cold day, if only to give me a good excuse to grab an incredible bowl of pho from Pho 54.

Yelp
So I came here for the first time yesterday during my short trip to Houston and WOW! I'm from the Dallas area where I though we had some solid pho, but this place just ruined any other pho that I've ever tasted The broth was really good, but what sets this place apart from any other pho I've had is the meat. My gf got the pho tai and I got the custom pho with steak and brisket. I would honestly just stick with the steak because that meat is so tender! The workers were really nice and the interior was clean and well kept. This is for sure on my list of places to go every time I'm in town!

Kitti V.

Yelp
OMG! Pho is amazing. The broth is so dark and flavorful. The meat was honestly the best meat I've had in years. Thick and SOOOOOO tender!!!!!! Not chewy at all and a very generous amount of meat as well. Staff is very friendly and quick as well. Love it.
google avatar

Helena K.

Yelp
Pho ga was so delicious and xi quach soup. Especially xi quach, soup was flavourful and rich. I would love to come back for more. Highly recommend if anyone look for different type of beef pho. Come here try chicken pho
google avatar

Queena Z.

Yelp
The pho broth had a cinnamon-y taste to it and I didn't enjoy that. I did really enjoy their toasted baguette which was the best part of the meal.
google avatar

Liz I.

Yelp
1st time and we shared the bone marrow with baguette as an appetizer. It was extremely tender and baguette was perfectly toasted. I had the dry pho ga with steamed bean sprouts, broth was clean and it hit the spot. My daughter had the bun Bo hue and enjoyed it. Also had the coconut coffee and loved it!! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Dms D.

Yelp
First time eating pho. Asked if there were vegetables. Their idea of vegetables is bean sprouts and basil with japs and lime. Snow peas would have been so goooood! Anyway. The flavor was nice. We got the bowl with beef and meatball Based on the server suggestion. Husband got the chicken. Ordered the egg rolls. They were also good. Overall good but I don't think I will be a pho lover any time soon
google avatar

Yelp
I came there several time. Food is okay, phở was delicious but service was terrible. People when you go there, be careful there is one old lady who works second shift, I guess she started from 2 or 3pm, when she takes your order, please double check carefully. I ordered with her one time, she never wrote down, just remembered what I said. When food came out, there was missing item, I asked if she could fixed for me and she charged without asking me for the item missing. While I paid my bill, I recognized the extra charge and she blamed because this was extra item even though it was her mistake ( she forgot what I ordered and now try to charge me more). Also she was so mean to waitress. Food is okay, but service was really bad. Be careful if you go there for dinner. Make sure she takes your order correctly.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
I had to try this spot out when I heard about it from a fellow friend. Both of the broth were good but I think it was overhyped for me. They do give you plenty of proteins for both bowls. The vegetables were quite fresh and if you order the pho, you can get your bean sprouts steamed if you like it that way. The small bowl was like a medium for me. The bowl was bigger than my hand in diameter. I got super full and couldn't finish it all.

Yelp
This place is a gem. I moved from another state with a big Vietnamese population and was worried I wouldn't find another Vietnamese restaurant to satisfy my cravings. But I did! The food tastes so familiar here.....it's heartwarming and leaves you full and wanting more - speaking of, I will be going back to sample the rest of their dishes. This time around we ordered egg rolls, bone marrow and oxtail, dry chicken pho, pho tai, and bun bo hue. TheSe were recommended by the wonderful lady at the counter and a friend and they did not disappoint! Also, we got their lychee and peach tea and it was refreshing!

Yelp
The bone marrow is delicious from here! The pho is perfectly balanced. Not too sweet or bland!

Yelp
I've missed this place so many times when driving past it because it's tucked towards the end of the shopping strip, but I'm glad I discovered it. I ordered takeout and got the large chicken pho. I really like that they give you the option of the chicken with or without skin because I hate chicken with the skin on. The pho was really good and also affordable. The inside of the restaurant was also clean. I'll definitely come back here.

Yelp
54's oxtail pho and bun bo hue are magnificent and need no introduction unless you've never been... then here it is.

Yelp
It's so weird because the lady (maybe the owner) requested me to pay cash instead of card, she excused the merchant not working. I said sorry I don't bring cash today, she changed her attitude and rude. I'll stay away this restaurant. This is the first time n also the last time to come here. Worst customer service and unusual behavior when ask customer pay out cash. Not normal !!!!

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends and ordered the Bun bo hue with beef, bone marrow with a baguette, a coconut coffee, and (not pictured) the garlic butter wings and cripsy egg rolls. The egg rolls were amazing 10/10. The wings however lacked flavor. There wasn't much garlic and it tasted like a plain wing. The BBH was good overall. It was packed full of meat, could be a bit spicier but was still amazing. The bone marrow was good for its price but I wish it had more marrow in it. The coffee was delicious. Make sure you use the straw to get the little bits of coconut in every sip.
