Service was great, food was amazing! I got grilled shrimp meal. So delicious. Beef pho was awesome, the crab rangoons were sooooooo good.

Google
Ordered the chicken pho delicious umm good Service was as aspected not a regular so they ignored me and wife. The appetizer was placed on the table quickly with no plates to place the app on. The shrimp rockets were good. The beans sprouts and lime was rancid

First time coming to Pho 79 and I must say the food is delicious. The staff provided excellent service. They were friendly and attentive. Will visit again next the time I am in town.

We came because we want soup and a taste of Pho. The place nest on a commercial area on the corner. It looks small but they do have an exclusive outside dining. Inside is clean and cozy and very traditional to their culture. The staff always has a smile and is fast to get your order. We got our order reasonably on time. Again, the flavor is perfect. Temperature is perfect and presentation too. We enjoyed our appetizer fried chicken and spring roll. We enjoyed our pho and lemon grass flavor bbq with rice. Tea is good too. Parking is up front with ramps. Coming back again for sure.

Been here a ton of times since it’s nearby but just gets worse every time. Most recent visit will be the last! Workers are fighting and yelling at each other, don’t know why they think it’s ok to show so much attitude in front of their customers. Pho soup is never piping hot, just warm so by the end everything’s lukewarm. Fried rice always has burnt meat chunks. EVERYTHING is overpriced too compared to other pho restaurants. One of the usual waitresses will hover over you while you tip and if it’s not to her standards she wont acknowledge you out. Workers need to fix their attitude. Summer high school staff are great though! Well mannered and kind— 5 stars for them

I don’t live in Chesapeake but if I did, I would be a regular here. You can smell the delicious food being prepared as you’re sitting there. I was impressed, this place is on point. After a long day at the beach I was starving. Great service and bomb authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Everything we ordered was so good. Portions were generous and we were satiated. This was the best Nước chấm I have had from any restaurant in VA thus far. Meats were perfectly cooked and had that tasty char. The lemongrass flavor was infused throughout the chicken. Taro boba was good. We were a large party of 7 and everyone was happy, kids included. This Vietnamese spot is fire 🔥. Don’t sleep on this restaurant, even though it may not look like much from the exterior.

Google
Loved it. The Pho I had was excellent and the wife found her new favorite, Sizzling Ginger Chicken. Think Asian fajitas, it was amazing.

Yelp
The service is always excellent, and the sweet ladies there make every visit a pleasure. I get 2 Large P4's to go every time, it's always spot-on!

Yelp
This is actually our favorite Pho place close to home to eat at. Not sure if it's the best but it's convenient and fast. Last few times we've done a to go order because as a family of seven eating out is too expensive. Today we dined in because there was only five of us. Our food came out quickly as always. Our only drink we ordered never came and they never came to our table to see if we need anything. Today they brought the card reader to our table to pay. We paid and had cash tip to place on the table upon leaving. As we were cleaning up mess from our youngest the woman began cleaning our table and started questioning why we put no tip. Right then we decided we aren't putting the tip on the table a $20 bill that they were no longer giving because they unprofessionally and angrily began cleaning our table reaching over our baby in the high chair while questioning the tip.

Yelp
Pho 79 has been a favorite of mine for years. Pho (pronounced "fuh") is deliciously addictive and perfect in the winter (or any time of year for that matter!) I love the pho with meatballs and steak. Served with hoisin, sriracha, jalapeños, basil, lime, and bean sprouts, there are a variety of opportunities for customization here. As for appetizers, my recommendation is the fresh rolls. Always delicious and served with a peanut sauce (which I actually like to put in my soup, too!) As a dietitian, pho is a great, hearty choice. Plus it's yummy. Nothing is better! There are plenty of vegetarian options too- there's something for everyone! Takeout is great as well. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Yelp
I've been to the Norfolk location before and fell in love with their delicious beef pho ! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and quite prompt as well. I love the bamboo decorations in the restaurant; giving a Vietnam vibe. This location is closer so I will be coming here for now on!

Yelp
Tonight we had dinner at Pho 79, located on Sam's Drive near the Sam's Club in the heart of Chesapeake. It is just starting to turn chilly outside and it's a great time to enjoy some good Pho. We got the 3 beef selections (forgot the name but it has 3 kinds of beef in it. The broth is delicious and the noodles are fixings made this a bowl of wonderful.

Yelp
Spoiled food - hope not to get sick. ---- Ate here in person months ago and pho was pretty good. Today, sadly, our delivered pho smelled like the food has turned. Noodles had a faint foul smell that I couldn't figure what exactly it was but it smelled like a dirty sock. After combining it with broth and meats I took a few bites and by then it was obvious that noodles were spoiled and had a faint sour taste to them. My son tasted the same. After inspecting the rest of the order I was surprised to find a piece of meat buried inside the other noodles. Something is clearly off. Not many good Pho places in the area and this used to be our go to - but, this is beyond unacceptable and now I am just hoping that my son and I won't get sick.

Yelp
I'm not a huge Pho-natic, so I ordered the Chicken Curry. Very good, and unexpectedly spicy! My sis loves Pho, and we always come here when she's in town. The Large portion is HUGE, and was at least 4 meals. They have a really homemade feel for a chain restaurant, and sis is never disappointed with the amount of noodles and always fresh veg accompaniments.

Yelp
$21 for Hot Buttdoosie Water in a Bowl? Pho-get About It. I dined in at Pho 79 and ordered the Pho Tái, Nạm, Gầu, Gân, Sách--aka, round steak, flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe. What I received was a bowl of disappointment dressed as tradition. The rice noodles were overcooked, mushy, and falling apart like they'd had a long week. I've worked in restaurants--I know pre-bagged pasta when I taste it. It was painfully obvious they blanch the noodles ahead of time, toss them in the fridge, and then just reheat them with broth that looked and tasted like dirty dishwater. Speaking of broth: it had a grayish tint, was completely devoid of real flavor, and was heavily spiced with clove, almost like they were trying to hide the fact that it was old. Authentic pho broth should be rich, fragrant, and soulful. This was not that. This was broth that made me question my life choices. Let's talk condiments. The amount of sriracha, hoisin, and chili paste they offer is laughably stingy--like I needed to fill out a W-2 to get more than a drip. The meat portions were sad, hidden under a mountain of noodles that clearly tried to bulk up the meal and mask how little care went into it. The bean sprouts were slimy and brown, clearly rinsed to look fresh, and the "lime" was a pathetic micro-slice that barely qualified as citrus. Pho used to be a sacred bowl of affordable healing--$5.95 at most. Now they're charging $21.25 for hot buttdoosie water and a bowl of shame. I swear, their ancestors probably want to come back and slap the pho out of them for dishonoring the roots and soul of this dish. As for the Gỏi Cuốn ($8.45)--I ordered them without shrimp, and they still charged full price. What I got were hard, dry spring rolls clearly pulled from a cold fridge, with pork so dry it was practically jerky. The peanut sauce tried to do CPR on the dish, but the rice paper wrap was DOA. If you're removing protein, lower the price. Anything else is a scam. If you're going to charge fine-dining prices, put fine-dining effort behind the food. Pho 79 is all markup and no soul.

Yelp
Pho 79 has been a long time favorite of mine and now my kids. When we were stationed in here in Coastal VA on the first round, there were only 2 locations back then, the original on VB Blvd, and the newest on General Booth. It's nice to come back and see that the Pho 79 fam has expanded quite a bit! Pho 79 in Chesapeake is the location we frequent most since it's the closest to our home. My kids love it there! - Parking - Center lot - Vibe - They have an semi-open kitchen so you see a bit of the action and also the aroma keeps you hungry! They also have a outdoor vibe going on on the inside. Lots of tables and chairs, as well as, some booth seats. - TLC - Every time we go in, we're always well taken care of. The staff ranges from younger individuals to more mature ones and they are all super nice and pleasant. There is a more mature lady especially, that always has the biggest smile and upbeat attitude and always checks on us often. - Sips - I always get the Vietnamese coffee with extra condensed milk. YUMMMM. Always hits the spot. Pro tip: if you are looking for some real Vietnamese coffee, always order them at Vietnamese/pho restaurants. There is no substitute for the coffee cup that's filled with a little bit of condensed milk, and a stainless steel filter over the cup where the coffee drip directly in the cup. It needs to be strong and that portion is the right concentration of coffee and milk. They will serve with a tall glass full of ice, if you order it iced. This will be the perfect ratio of ice and coffee and milk that will be diluted at the right amount (see pic). - Noms - We've tried quite a few things on the menu like the fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese fried egg rolls, pho (usually tai nam gau), the grape leaf beef app and the banh mis. I've also had the Roll Your Own Spring Rolls that I've thoroughly enjoyed. I just love spring rolls in general, so this is right up my alley. You get a choice of chicken, beef, pork, or a combination and they bring a whole platter with the protein of choice and all the fixin's and sauce with the rice paper rolls and you can make it how you want! I love hand-on platters! Eating your hands just makes your food taste so much better! Highly recommend! Our go-to menu items are definitely the Vietnamese iced coffee, fresh spring rolls and the pho. Overall, it's a great place to grab a quick bite and we love going there! Stay safe, Friends!

Yelp
Great fresh made sandwich. I walked in to place my order. I wanted of course to see the cleanliness of the restaurant. I have had office ordered take out before and just had the same Bahn mi with chicken. Juicy marinated grilled chickens. Pretty tasty with the crusty bread. Plants great you at the door. The dining room is clean, tended to often, well it's and spaced out nicely. I was greeted with a friendly hell when I entered. My order was taken as pots cling clanged in the back. Not a long wait at all maybe 5-6 minutes max. Great choice today.

Yelp
The Pho here at Pho 79 is AMAZING! It's not too sweet, it's just perfect! The rare steak is perfect! The server was really nice! I wish I lived here, I would be going there all the time!

Yelp
I have been a fan of this place for years. The food is always delicious. Today was no different. I wasn't feeling well so I decided to go get some soup. It soothing and tasty. I also got some spring rolls with peanut sauce. I'm really shocked that this restaurant has such a low rating on yelp. Unless it's because of the holes in the chairs?? Some of the decor needs some updating but the staff is always super friendly and the food is always delicious whether you dine in or have it delivered.

Andy S.

Yelp
Had Pho and spring rolls. The spring rolls were not good. Ate one spring roll and was noticed a smell. Realized that it was the pork smelled. Threw the other one away. Ordered by the numbers in the menu. The server, who I think might be a manager/owner, did not understand what I was talking about and asked me what I was talking about. It had me confused. Ive had similar food quality and service issues here before. This branch is dark spot on what is a fantastic local franchise.

Yelp
Changes: Is there a new cook? Broth is not as good and we ALWAYS get xtra tendon. But the Tendon is now slivered to hard hockey pucks.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Pho, and have tried several places in the area. This is my go-to spot for Pho now. The food always good. It's very consistent. My favorite is the P6, Pho Tai Nam Gan (round steak, flank steak, & tendon). The broth is really good, lots of flavor to it. The eggs rolls are always good as well. Service is always swift, and friendly. The inside is a nice size, though the decor is dated. it's located in a strip mall next to Sam's club, with lots of parking. I definitely recommend Pho 79, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. Enjoy!

Yelp
A beautiful Vietnamese pho restaurant in an ideal location in the still growing Chesapeake. This has become my "go to" for Vietnamese especially during gloomy days or those days when you want something filling but not wanting to feel like you committed gluttony. I typically get the Pho with everything plus extra noodle or extra meat, depends how dangerous I feel that day. For apps I usually order the fresh spring rolls, all shrimp. I CAN NOT get enough of this place. The service is ALWAYS outstanding, the restaurant including restrooms is for the most part kept clean. I have yet to find anything wrong with it.

Yelp
This review is only for the banh mi.... Was not impressed with the Banh Mi. Coming from Houston where I have had lots of banh mi sandwich's for for under $4 a piece, I had high expectations for this place.... I would. It recommend their sandwiches for the following readd as one... 1 - As other reviewers have mentioned, there was very little beef in the sandwich. The only thing you can taste in each bite is the bread and the cucumber. You can't even see the beef in the photo below. 2 - The bread was not crispy. Typically when I have ordered a Banh Mi, the bread is toasted so that when I receive it it is crispy on the outside.. The bread was more soft, similar to what you get at the grocery store 3 - Price was too expensive for what you get.... My sandwich came out to $12 after tip.. I wouldn't mind if there was a lot more meat in the sandwich, but for that I lawyer of beef, it is definitely not worth the price. G G or now giving the place 3 stars.... Will try their other menu options in the future.

Yelp
I have come here many times and enjoyed their Pho, the prices have started to creep up, but of course this is everywhere. The one thing that bothered me was my g/f and I came by on a TUE night before 8:30pm and they were "closed". I walked in and they told us they stop serving their customers at 8:00pm and they were lights off at 9:00pm and apparently this is because they use that time to clean the kitchen and restaurant. Be careful with their posting of times. They were supposed to be open until 9:00pm, but apparently this establishment determines their posting of hours is when doors are open and not when they are available to serve their customers.

Yelp
Really hesitant to come here bc the traffic is always terrible this way. Decided to come anyway since it was close to a boba spot we wanted to try. Walked in and saw they had their own boba and tried it. Was not disappointed. It was soooo yummy!! It's slush tho but still good!! Then I got my bill. It was 6.75 per slush. Hubby ordered pork chop dish that was 18$ and my pho was 15.99. Food was good. Hubby said the pork chop was small for the price when he compared the meat to the bone. My dish was huge. Food took a while to come but they were busy. I prob wouldn't come again bc of the price itself.

Yelp
My husband was craving Pho and our normal spot was closed so I ended up at Pho79 for some takeout. Website was easy to navigate. Staff were friendly, restaurant was clean and smelled nice. My husband ordered the Beef Round Pho and I ordered the House Fried Rice. Both were delicious! The House Fried Rice was loaded with meat which surprised me, but the option was ver small for $19. My only complaint is the price. It was $50 after taxes, fees, and gratuity and while it was very good I did not feel like it was worth $25 a plate.

Robert B.

Yelp
I walked in Pho 79 Sam Circle in Chesapeake to have lunch. The table was dirty, there was a visible hair on the table. I mentioned it to the server and was told in a sharp voice I know this table is clean because I clean all the tables. I replied, that may be so, but there is a hair on the table and it's dirty. She got real snippy and roughly cleaned the table again and told me she had worked there 6 years. I asked for the manager, not there. So I left! On my way out she kept chastising me because I asked her if she talk to customers this way. I couldn't believe she became angry and caustic in front of other customers in the restaurants. Customers be ware!

Yelp
This place was decently busy. We have a pho 79 where I am from and it's delicious. So I had high hopes going in. The service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and took our orders promptly. The food was passable. I got a shrimp bun. The shrimp was delicious but the fish sauce was kinda bland which was surprising considering it usually a pretty strong flavor. And it's the biggest part of the dish. 5 out of 10. My husband got the pho with beef flank & brisket. The meat was delicious. The portion was good. And came out hot but the pho broth was not the best we've had. He gives it a 7 out of 10. We also got summer rolls as an appetizer and they were mainly stuffed with noodles and the peanut was weak a 6 out of 10.
google avatar

Tara J.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Pho before. I wanted to give it a try and hoped I'd like it but unfortunately I did not. I ordered the Pho Tai and Shrimp Tai. Also, I did not realize that the egg rolls would have ground meat inside, so I was not a fan of it. The restaurant had a nice decor, the food arrived quickly and hot. However I just didn't like my meal.
google avatar

Mae B.

Yelp
90% of the time I get meatball pho with lots and lots of lime. ‍. The broth is so good. My favorite. Bonus: My stomach can handle the rice noodles (instead of wheat) 10% of the time I'll get the pork chops and rice dish. I love the tomatoes, cucumbers, and dipping sauce that comes with it. 100% of the time I'll have fresh spring rolls w peanut butter dipping sauce. Sometimes I'll have fried egg rolls. Again, love the dipping sauce for these. Staff is always nice and food comes out promptly. Nice, laid-back place. This is my go-to for pho. Pho sho I haven't tried anything else bc the aforementioned are my favorites and I can't seem to break away

Yelp
I had an excellent lunch in here recently with a good friend. It was his idea actually and I haven't been to a Pho 79 in years. So off I went. For my entrée I choose the Round Steak, Flank & Brisket. This also comes with a side of bean sprouts, fresh basil, jalapeno and lime. Also for an app I ordered some egg rolls. Everything came out at once and boy was this a feast for the famished. After snapping a couple of photos I added my bean sprouts, basil and jalapeno to the soup and then squeezed the lime over it. I have to say my eye's were bigger then my stomach. I finished the meal, but I swear I don't think I had anything else the rest of the day. Also the egg rolls were hot and crispy. They were serviced a semi-hot sauce that had a warm after taste. Absolutely delicious all around Next time I visit I can see myself having the same thing again. I know you're supposed to try different things but dang this was so good!
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
Omg I am shocked! They haved improved. I believe it's either the chef or perhaps a new ownership!
google avatar

Lamont S.

Yelp
Every time I've come here I've had a really good experience with great food. I came with some friends and I ordered the lunch special L3-appetizer soup and bahn mi. I chose the pork bahn mi and round steak, flank, & brisket pho. The pho was delicious as always. The broth was tasty and you know I went ahead and tossed in some extra condiments/sauces to specify it to my liking. The bahn mi was just delicious. I could come here everyday just for that pork bahn mi sandwich!! The establishment was clean, service was great, and prices were reasonable.

Yelp
I haven't had Pho in years, so I was excited to find this place and go there with a friend. The food was excellent! I got the steak Pho and fresh spring rolls. I love the generous portions they give, and they have a unique variety of good sauces and ingredients. The staff was very attentive and honestly the best service I've had in this area of Chesapeake at a restaurant! I just love their energy and enthusiasm about their food and service. This place is great!
google avatar

Yelp
I had the beef flank pho bowl. All the meat went bad the next day. I placed it in an Hefty air tight container but apparently didn't help Make sure you eat everything the same day if you're going to dine here, being that this meat spoiled that quickly.. but in the future I will be steering clear of this location.

Yelp
I was immediately greeted by a friendly face. I stopped in for some soup and the fresh rolls. My waitress greeted me promptly and got my drink order. She recommended a Jasmine tea. I was trying to soothe my tummy so she also recommended chicken noodle soup. I wanted to try something different so I got one of her favorites she pointed out. Everything was delicious. Super filling and I only had rolls and soup. The decor is comforting and everyone was friendly at this location. Now all I need is a nice nap & I'll be set for my day. I'm already feeling better. Thanks for the great service!
google avatar

Polina W.

Yelp
I can only speak about the Thai Tea boba! It was sufficiently sweet, perfectly chewy and decently priced! My husband knew I like boba, so he found this spot before we went to check into our hotel for the day. I normally prefer to go to spots that specialize in boba drinks, but this is a reminder that you can't discount spots like this. I totally would come back here for another, if I was still in the area. Maybe we will meet up again one day?
google avatar

Jeannine C.

Yelp
The inside is beautiful but the Pho is just ok. They do have some interesting types of Pho though that I have not seen. They have the regular round steak Pho but also combinations of meat for example; Brisket and tripe, round steak and meatball, etc. I've never seen tripe Pho so I will have to try that next time. What I did get was the regular degular round steak Pho. The steak was dry and maybe even a tad overcooked. I felt like there was hardly in veggies and I asked and paid for extra onions but did not receive that. The broth was good, the noodles were fine, but nothing really impressed me. I would say the highlight of this visit was the candy bowl. The tiny blueberry candies they have in a dish up front was so good.
google avatar

Jacob R.

Yelp
My wife and I went in late for dinner and we were the only ones at first but a rush seems to have followed us as it was soon busy. Here's what you need to know: Very clean. Easy to understand menu. Delicious. Great atmosphere. Would definitely take my friends here to introduce them to Pho.
google avatar

Jonesha M.

Yelp
Myself and some coworkers went for the first time during lunch. It was extremely busy. We wanted to get our food to go. The cashier who was taking the orders was also running the orders to the dine in tables. She would take one order then run off. It took 45 min to get our pho. There were lots of angry customers. I felt bad for them. I wasn't sure if they were just short staffed or if they just didn't plan for the rush. The pho was actually really good. I got the chicken pho and spring rolls. The small order of pho was more than enough for me. I probably won't go back to that location, there are plenty around town so I might try another location.

Younshil F.

Yelp
The tastes are ok, but the old lady ( normally she put the pink hat) always got an attitude and threw away some stuff like straw and plates on the table! She needs to learn more respectfully to customers. I won't give her tips for tonight!
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
Pho hits the spot! If youre under the weather or hung over... They have awesome lunch specials. Customer Service is amazing here. Service is always fast.
google avatar

Jim W.

Yelp
My steak pho was exceptional as was the speed of getting the meal. Issues with my party in one dish being wrong and the the chicken pho was considered not very nice, as it had bones in it and they felt was not very flavorful. Would like to come back sometime, to see if these errors could be overcome.
google avatar

Tim F.

Yelp
This review is on their Bahn Mi Take out is a true test of a business value on their product. Because the customer eats at home and they don't have to deal with complaints in person. I ordered 6 bahn mi to go at almost $8 a sandwich. What I got was a scarce bit of meat jammed into the center of a small but long piece of bread. Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed. Egg roles are fine and tasty but my bill was $71 and what I got was not enough to feed 4 people. Will not be back and cannot recommend this location or business.
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
Pho 79 is consistently a great place to eat Pho! When you walk in the door you are greeted with the smell of delicious broth. The restaurant is clean. The service is always courteous and friendly. Most importantly the food is fresh, pipping hot, and delicious. I got crab ragoons and the egg rolls as an appetizer. There is enough to share. Both were hot crispy and yummy. For my entre I ordered the wanton and egg noodle soup, H3. The broth was rich and flavorful. Warm meal for the fall season. I definitely recommend giving Pho 79 a try!
google avatar

Cindi W.

Yelp
With the cold weather nothing like some good pho!! Tried the shrimp pho and I added veggies. The appetizers chicken wings & crab rangoon were fresh and hot. They came out after the pho. Sweet tea was really good. Service was good & seating was spaced out for social distancing.

Antoinette P.

Yelp
I have tried 3 of the Pho 79 locations and this particular one USED to rank at No. 1 because of their Pho Soup. I went to the one at The Outlet and tried their fried chicken drumettes. They were VERY tasty! So, the next time I was in Chesapeake, I stopped in and ordered my usual Pho Soup and threw in an order of the fried chicken drumettes, thinking they would taste the same I got the container of drumettes and IMMEDIATELY noticed the second most important thing: the aroma was MISSING! It literally smelled like.... nothing. "Uh-oh", I thought. "What did I just buy?" The other wings from The Outlet Pho 79 location... THOSE were aromatic, fried with a light coating of SEASONING, moist and juicy, and had just the right amount of golden crispiness. They just melted in my mouth! And I wanted MORE! Imagine MY surprise when I opened up the box and found FRIED STRAW!! All that chicken did was walk BY the stove and somebody shoved the whole bird into some boiling grease! The chicken was fried so hard with absolutely NO salt, NO pepper and NO flavor! I suspect that a fried brick would taste better! Contrary to the belief that everything is deep-fried in the South, this imposter for fried chicken should be put to death... AGAIN, for masquerading as something edible! And somebody in the kitchen must be smoking the Thai basil! They had the nerve to charge damn-near $10 for this bland, dehydrated chicken! I mean.... Pick a struggle! Either make shoe leather or cardboard! Just don't label it as fried chicken!

Yelp
Great place, great environment, good food, and good service. It's what you'd expect in a small restaurant, but really stood out was the sweet manager who insisted she make it up to me for my drink being wrong. Dr pepper I stead of diet coke. Not a big deal considering I didn't speak very loudly, but she was on it coming back with a new drink and even bringing 2 glasses when she noticed i was chugging them like they were going out of style. All in all the staff was very friendly and my shrimp appetizer was so good and hot and my soup.....superb! I'm a sucker for a good soup and shrimp. I would definitely visit this place again for a nice hot lunch or a good soup on a rainy day. Thanks to the manager for really showing her staff how it's done!

Yelp
The price gouging is crazy! Pay attention to the price. The prices are not as advertised! And they will give you a higher price if you look like you have money. This has been proven between several of my friends and I. We will file a complaint with the BBB because that is a scumbag thing to do to the people

Yelp
I have been you this location many times before but this time merited a review. The service is quick and speedy. The vegetarian rolls came out hot and fresh. The pho ga with egg noodles my basic intro dish was interesting. The chicken tasted really fresh but they didn't cut and toss the chicken fat which made the dish a try and spit out dish. The noodles tasted like they were in mop water they had a funny taste to it. They had this tabletop water, refill call button feature which did not work. It was a miss for me. The other dish ordered at my table also had a bad experience but overall not a place I'd favor. I had to douse the soup in pepper and hoisin sauce for flavor.

Yelp
Clearly I've been missing out in life, but this was my first time having pho. My server recommended #1 which is with round steak. I absolutely loved the steaming hot broth and all its included glory- the beansprouts, Thai basil and lime were perfect to load into the soup, as well as some sriracha and hoisin sauce. The small size was perfect for lunch with leftovers for dinner. I also had the spring rolls; thankfully, they were able to roll me fresh ones without shrimp- so tasty with the peanut sauce! I loved my first experience so much that I went back a couple days later for lunch, this time trying #10, pho with chicken. The app size pho was enough to make me full, but I could have had a bit more. It was a great deal for $7. I'll probably stick with the small size next time because I'll want it for dinner, no doubt. They also give you a decent amount of meat, which I honestly don't feel the need for with how rich & delicious the broth is. The staff were all really nice and the restaurant was clean. I'll be back!

Yelp
I stopped here for to-go Pho on New Years eve since I was right across the street. It was my first time. I ordered chicken pho with added broccoli for an extra $2.50. There are two sizes, the small I ordered was a good portion. The noodles, cilantro, broccoli & green peppers were delicious & fresh. The broth was on the salty side and had a strange taste, the chicken was too rubbery for my liking and the bean sprouts were not so fresh. I am primarily a pho lover, I don't order anything else, so for me, I won't be back, I prefer my Pho to be perfect every time. Service was fast, friendly, the entire restaurant appeared clean.

Yelp
This was my first pho, and it's still my favorite. I get a number 9 every time, which is their standard pho broth. I think it is made with oxtail and takes a long time to prepare correctly, and I think they do. That's why I love this place - the broth feels authentic. I can taste the star anise vividly in each spoonful. In the pho here, the mixture of fresh herbs and vegetables balances perfectly with the savory slices of flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe. There's rice noodles that just beg to be slurped and eaten. Tear and toss some Thai basil into your soup, add some hoisin sauce, some sriracha sauce for heat, squeeze a few wedges of lime over top, and finish with some bean sprouts. That's how I do my pho. Many beginners take the number 4, which is the same as the 9 without tendon and tripe. I also recommend the fresh rolls, which are exactly as advertised, and make totally refreshing appetizers. Don't confuse the fresh rolls with the spring rolls, which are fried. For a drink, the bubble tea is pretty darn good here. Get the taro flavor. It's the best, and it's purple. But seriously, if you mix it with strawberry, it tastes just like captain crunch. Service is decent here, but honestly if you're a pho fanatic like me, the soup is so good that they could slack a bunch and still get away with it. Don't miss this place.
