Food came out super duper fast and service was great. Vietnamese iced coffee was good, pho was good but pork chop a little tough, spring rolls were delicious, pork banh mi was very disappointing and I do not recommend. I wouldn’t say this is a hidden gem, but it is a cheap meal!

We came here to get pho and we were placed outdoors due to the fact that we weren't vaccinated, which is understandable. However, we were having soup in the outdoor dining area and it's extremely hot in there. Right next door, they have AC in the outdoor dining area. Which is a smarter idea. This place clearly going cheap on their business. Then my mom goes inside to place a to go order for my brother at home and when she asked the server if the food is ready, he purposely ignored her, TWICE! This is the same server we constantly have issues when coming here. He's a young, Filipino looking server. Always giving dirty looks. My mom got super tight and wasn't happy already! She was kind enough to leave a $5 tip but after that encounter, she took it back. My mom is also a cashier in a restaurant and she did not like the fact that when she was about to pay, they wanted to charge a 3% credit card fee. That is the restaurant's duty to pay credit card fee, NOT THE CUSTOMERS. They don't want to pay this fee so they make the customers pay, luckily my mom carried cash.

My bf and I came here for lunch and ordered the large #29 and #30 combination pho bowls. The pricing for the sizes were S $8.25, M $9, L $10, XL $13.20. My bf was about to order the XL bowl for himself, but good thing he didn't because we ended up stuffed, since we ordered a pork banh mi as well. Haven't had pho in so long since the pandemic, so when indoor dining opened up again, we were excited to go.
You have to walk through the supermarket parking lot to get to Pho Bac. They are so busy! We waited about 10-15 minutes to get seated on a Monday afternoon at 2pm. We watched as the server had to navigate through 3 doors to bring meals out to the customers sitting in the outdoor dining area. Anyway, we got seated and I watched as something that made me feel super uncomfortable happen. As one of the servers was clearing up the table next to us, he took the teapot and poured the leftover tea within.. back into the machine holding all the tea to warm up. Tea isn't expensive and it's watered down anyway.. I don't see what the point of pouring back 1-2 small cups of tea into the machine is. My bf justified it by noting that tea usually pours out one way, so he wasn't too bothered by it. But I certainly was, as I also didn't see the teapots or any reusable items being wiped after use between customers.
We've always been satisfied with the food every time we come to Pho Bac. But watching the tea incident will definitely make me think twice about dining at Pho Bac in the future. Thai Son all the way!

We used to love it here.
Two bad consecutive experiences.
First the plastic from the straw on out take out food.
Second was they sent us 2 containers of soup no noodles, no meat.
They didn’t apologize nor they gave us a refund.

Liked it very much, food is delicious. Was in mood for soup. Had the seafood soup. Totally awesome flavor. I'm a fan of bean sprouts & you're given plenty. Had the shrimp rolls, comes with peanut sauce, friend had the chicken soup. Try them out.

The day was perfect for a nice and hot PHO that was the reason I came to this restaurant.
Besides the Pho, I also share a delicious Vietnamese Crispy Spring Roll: Deep fried rolls wrapped in rice paper with a mixture of ground pork, chicken, black mushroom, and rice noodles. Served with lettuce, mint leaves, cilantro, and the dipping sauce. The crispy roll was super crushing a bit grassy but full of meat the small brings 4 pieces with makes it perfect to share.
I order the #26 on the menu, PHO Chin Nam come with rice noodle in beef broth with roped cilantro, scallion also served with jalapeno lime, fresh basil sprouts I add chicken for
$2.50 and had the XL size. The broth had a good taste the noodle was fine, and the amount of noodle and the amount of meat was very generous, the chicken also give that extra touch.
The staff was not that great, but this is common for any Vietnamese restaurant.
The place doesn't accept America Express credit cards.

Food is great, the Vietnamese spring rolls are the best. The Pho is very good and I love the rice vermicelli noodles with the BBQ pork.

I used to love this place because the soup was amazing and the prices were so good. But they’ve more than doubled their prices after the pandemic. They’re very cheap with the sauce and want to charge you more if you ask for extra sauce when they don’t even fill the tiny sauce cups they give you to the top. I ordered soup and coffee to go and paid for the largest size they had, only to open the bag on my way home and see that they were only a little over half full. I’m done going here.
