This restaurant serves the best pho in town! The beef noodles are incredibly delicious and hot, making them the perfect remedy for when you're feeling under the weather. The friendly, family-oriented atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a truly comforting place to eat.

Google
Visited on a Wednesday at 2pm and the place was bustling. Service was quick and polite. I had the Mi Bo Kho, which is yellow egg noodles in their beef stew. The stew had a great depth of flavors and seasonings. The stew had plenty of beef brisket/belly, carrots and the thick texture clinched to the noodles. The noodles were cheery and delicious.

Google
I went on Sunday, and the place was packed, lively, and deliciously smelling aroma of Pho. Pho's broth is definitely traditional with years of experience. Portion size for a medium bowl was good enough for me. It's hard to find a place like this with a hot bowl of pho and taste absolutely delicious. Total recommended!!!!

Google
The Pho chicken soup that I had received wasn't bad. But I will always have my favorite pho soup in Las Vegas, Nevada. The service is great and wasn't too crowded. The parking isn't bad it isn't a little small complex, but there should be plenty of parking.

Google
Really disappointed with my experience here. I came in on Friday night for pho and got bun bo hue to go. They said only a large is available to go, not small, not medium. Ok, fine. I didn’t eat it until Sunday morning, and when I did, it was already spoiled—super sour and completely inedible. Total waste of time and money. Really unacceptable to be served food that spoils that quickly. Food shouldn’t go bad that fast unless it was already sitting out or not stored properly.

Google
Phở Bắc is definitely worth the wait! When we arrived, there were a lot of customers, which shows how popular this place is. Despite the wait, the food was absolutely delicious, flavorful broth and fresh ingredients made every bite amazing. If you’re craving authentic and tasty pho, this is the place to go!

All Hail To Me

Google
i can't tell if I'm getting all is the meat i requested in the pho bo i asked for between 4 to 5 meats but the portions are small even in the large and i ddnt taste all of the meat choices i requested

Google
We ordered pho and bbh. The portions were huge and price was reasonable. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Really good food, and it came so fast! Had the chicken pho. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Overall Rating: 4 (0 = good, X = bad) 1. Atmosphere: O - Atmosphere was open and pleasant, during busy hours they can get packed but that can't be helped 2. Service: O - Quick and bilingual (English and viet) 3. Food/Products: O - I got the pho tai, the broth was very rich and overall it tasted amazing. 4. Pricing: O - Affordable pricing and reasonable, for pho, it goes small: 10, medium: 11, and large: 14. 5. Overall Experience: O - Awesome, not much else to say, get your pho and eat up Highlights/Recommendations: mmmh pho makes me feel warm

Yelp
There was no wait, very busy. We got chicken and beef pho. A friend got the pork chop dish. After we got our food, service wasn't the best they didn't bring our friend a knife to cut the pork chop. This is a decent bowl of a pho, it was on the plain side when it came to flavor but it did have a good chicken broth flavor & when you add the greens, sprouts jalapeños lime, sriracha and oyster sauce it's good
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
The broth in their shrimp pho is very flavorful, but I always order a side of grilled pork to enhance the flavor like my favorite place in OKC.

Yelp
As a non-local, tried both Pho Bac and Pho Bang. For overall, I'd give it to Pho Bac. Better atmosphere and the soft and luscious kobe just melts in your mouth. It's in a nice plaza by Happy Lemon and a Viet snacks shop, super convenient. Both broths had aromas of msg and I had to say Pho Bang's broth did have a bit more msg since we were mad thirsty. The boys did enjoy the sua dau nang at Pho Bang's and their homemade meatballs, which were chewy and black peppery; the service was super fast especially since we came 30 minutes before closing; folks were still streaming in after us. So, we'd come back to Pho Bac over Pho Bang.

Yelp
Flavorful broth with good selection of meats and affordable prices! You can do S,M,L bowl sizes which is a bonus since I usually can't finish a regular bowl! Service is fast, and you get seated very quickly! The place stays busy, but there's ample parking and seating! Overall a solid place for pho!

Yelp
The best Vietnamese food I've had in Dallas area, however, I must say Vietnamese food in Dallas is far below sub-par. Overall, it is decent. Food comes out very, very fast. I tried my mom's hu tieu bo kho and would probably get that if I ever came back. The bun thit Nuong was okay. The thit nuong is too thick and chewy for my liking, but fish sauce is on par. Probably wouldn't get it again as it wasn't anything special. Pricing is reasonable and there are small, medium and large sized bowls for the noodle soups (pho, bo kho, etc.).

Yelp
Yep yep yep YEP. This pho was EXCELLENT super duper gas, tops some of the ones I had in Vietnam. The broth was super flavorful yet managed to stay light at the same time it was like witchcraft. The Kobe beef was extremely tender and practically melted in your mouth. Absolutely wonderful meal, I wish it wasn't so far from me :(

Yelp
We really wanted to try a new pho place in the DFW and this place kept popping up so we decided to try. I thought it was pretty good! We went on a Sunday and it was packed, but we got seated right away. We ordered pho with kobe, egg rolls, and a coconut juice. I thought the pho was pretty good. The amount of meat in the bowl definitely matched the size pho you get. The pho broth was definitely more on the lighter side. The egg rolls were okay, they were crispy but they just weren't hot. I really liked my experience here and the inside just made it feel very homey. Overall if i were in the area again and was wanting pho I would probably choose this spot
google avatar

Danny N.

Yelp
Decent pho place in Dallas area. We came here early morning and it was pretty empty but the pho broth was decent. I did think it was a bit salty but service is good. Lots of parking available!

Yelp
After returning from vacation in East Asia which is where I had the best pho ever, I was told that this is the place to go for pho. I see why. I got letter B which was the well done brisket with all the trimmings and it was so good. I regret not getting more to go, especially since it was quite a distance from me. I went around 12 PM on a Saturday and it was very crowded, however there was no wait. People seem to get their food, eat and go. So tables were constant being turned over. The only thing was there was a language barrier between my waiter and myself. Being that it was my first time there I did have a couple of questions. Nonetheless, it was a great experience. There was very little wait time from the time I ordered to the time the pho arrived. The pho was great. And I would definitely go back. The staff was nice and based on the crowd, everyone else was in agreement that it is the place to go for pho. The establishment was full and was being ran like a well oiled machine.

Yelp
Tai Kobe, Soybean Milk I am obsessed!!!!! The Kobe pho is SO GOOD and so incredibly affordable I love this place wow. This place is busy at all hours, with such a huge lunch hour rush, but they are so efficient and have enough seating there's never long of a wait. The meat was so tender, the broth excellent. Love love the soybean milk too! My friends said the coffee here is excellent too
google avatar

Marie N.

Yelp
Their pho is consistently good (I've been back 4 times since my first review). However this time I wanted try something different and ordered their Banh Mi Đặc Biệt with Pate. Unfortunately it did not deliver. There was too much soy sauce which was a weird flavor and it tasted as if it were missing some key flavors.
google avatar

Cfn C.

Yelp
Best pho I've ever had, get the Kobe beef or crunch fat beef it is so good I love this food, it always is a treat eating here and the owner is awesome and amazing and the bone broth is made with good ingredients!
google avatar

Yelp
First time there and went with a friend of many years, he had been there before so we went. Being used to Asian cuisine I felt comfortable with navigating through the menu and selected a nice BIG bowl of beef pho, with unsweetened ice tea the journey began to flavor land. The decor was appropriate and the service was spoiling. Once served I add some hot sauce, jalapeños, basil, bean sprouts and lime and folded it together to form a mouth watering dish, with pleasant conversation and a background of Asian chatter the lunch was very rewarding and another good memory to reflect upon.

Yelp
In an area full of Pho spots, Pho Bac is well above average. Their broth is rich and delightful, their toppings are generous compared to other spots, and they have an insane LARGE bowl size that's almost comical. I ding 1 star because their sides/appetizers such as egg rolls are just meh. So come for the pho!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I love pho and Vietnamese food overall, I had high expectations for Pho Bac after hearing countless recommendations over the years. Everyone seems to say it's the best pho spot in the area. I finally got the chance to try it. The pho was solid--flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and well-prepared. It's definitely a reliable spot for good pho, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype that everyone always gives it. Overall, a great place for a bowl of pho, just not anything special about it that makes it stand out. It's pretty much a standard Vietnamese restaurant. The service and ambiance is very much similar to many other pho places as well.

Yelp
Very busy on a week day during lunch around 12pm. There was a small line out front, but we got seated within 10 mins. Their service is incredibly fast which I was impressed with. We ordered 4 entrees and they all came out with 5 mins even with a fully packed restaurant. My dad says this is his favorite pho spot and always orders pho from here. I ordered the bun bo hue, while not the most flavorful broth it was decently good. Their bun bo hue doesn't come with the signature pork blood though.
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
I've heard from coworkers that this place has really tasty broths so came to try it on a cheat day. The restaurant is very roomy and is great for large groups. We ordered a Bun Bo Hue and a Kobe Beef Pho. We were given a choice of fresh or steamed beaned sprouts - we chose fresh but I'm curious what steamed tastes like. Both broths were absolutely delicious! The noodles and meat portions were well balanced. The negative was that the Bun Bo Hue didn't have pork blood for some reason. When they brought our food, they gave me a (yellow) order ticket. You're supposed to take that to the counter when you're ready to pay so they know what you ordered. Makes sense.
google avatar

Clarissa S.

Yelp
Food here is good every time we come however this most recent time my grilled pork & rolls were a little cold. They're very quick, & nice here.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
pho bac is my go to place for authentic pho. i got the pho bo viên and the broth was flavorful! although they were busy, we were seated quickly. the staff was friendly and our dishes arrived just minutes after ordering!

Teresa K M.

Yelp
As a Vietnamese this store is one of the very few Pho shop in the area that got our approval. But this time I have to write a good review for them due to how nice and tentative the server is. Our grandma is very old and cannot finish a whole bowl by herself so she keeps telling us not to order for her and that made us feel bad since there was 6 of us and we only order 5 portion but the server noticed that and still gave her water to drink and even a bowl so she can split food with one of us. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness! Will become regular here now
google avatar

Emily O.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was super fast. Food came out 5-8 minutes after ordering. The restaurant is relatively always busy. Food: 4.75/5 * Pho Bo (beef noodle soup): 4.5/5 - tái (rare beef eye-of-round): 5/5 - chin (well done brisket): 3.5/5 - bo vien (beef meatballs): 5/5 * Fresh spring rolls: 5/5
google avatar

Yelp
They provide real rooster sriracha! I know it sounds lame but I can't eat pho without the real sriracha. The pho was good and came out really hot. The service was quick and friendly. The seating area seems crowded but it's a pho restaurant. Can't expect it to be fancy. Worth coming here to eat when you crave for pho.
google avatar

Joanne T.

Yelp
I love that you can get your pho in different sizes!!! Sometimes you just want a little bite of this and a little bite of that :) I came with friends and we got a grilled pork banh mi and pho with rare beef eye of round as the meat choice. Their banh mi was more unique than the ones I've had from other viet spots in Plano in that it had a lot of red onion and the pork had an actual grill taste lmao. Everything was really good and service was fast!
google avatar

Nhi P.

Yelp
This place is always packing because their phở broth is very authentic! Also highly recommend their bánh mì.
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
Authentic place that is packed on weekend lunches, even though we got there around 2pm. Didn't have to wait too long & ordered the eye of round with meatballs. Decent portion size; broth was a bit light & needed more depth of flavor.
google avatar

Yana L.

Yelp
Beef stew noodle soup is the best! This is my favorite pho place and young coconut juice is so good and healthy, highly recommend!
google avatar

Paul G.

Yelp
This is an awesome pho restaurant. I ordered the wagyu pho with the wagyu beef on the side. The soup is hot enough to cook the wagyu beef really fast, furthermore, the soup is very flavorful without a lot of spices found in other pho restaurant, which is something I appreciate. The wagyu beef is very soft and tasty and truly a cut above the beef slices from other pho restaurants and is well worth the extra cost. The service and ambiance is average an typical of a pho restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who loves s good bowl of pho.

Thuy T.

Yelp
They're busy, but once seated, the service is quick. Love their pho with brisket.. thankfully the brisket isn't fatty like other pho restaurants. I often order the XL size and share it with my 5 year old. Always recommend this place to anyone asking for a pho spot in the area.
google avatar

Sarah O.

Yelp
It's the best I've ever had ! Very nice staff ! The only thing I don't like is they expect tips but don't check on you after they deliver food and drinks .
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
First time having pho and i really enjoyed it! The portions are big so i suggest starting with a small bowl your first time. Add some sriracha sauce for a little more spice

Grace K.

Yelp
I got to Pho Bac at around 12:30pm, and there was a line out the door. However, the line moves very quickly and we were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was packed and a little loud, which is understandable for Christmas Day. The service was very efficient and the food came out fast. I ordered the Mi Bo Kho, and it was very delicious. There were very large portions. Come for good, classic, Vietnamese food.

Destiny V.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here every week while I was pregnant. I craved Pho Bac in my sleep. Now we get to eat here with our daughter. He gets kobe beef pho, I get shrimp pho, & our baby gets a side order of pho noodles. Thank you for never disappointing, not once.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
Great service and home-y ambience of Vietnamese restaurants. I've had the pho tai and com suon nuong, and both are great! Solid broth and good portion sizes! I also appreciate the drinks like the ca phe sua da and chanh muoi :) Authentic stamp of approval!
google avatar

Shelley F.

Yelp
Word around town was that Pho Bac is considered to be the best Pho in DFW. While the food was satisfactory, I had high expectations, and I was disappointed as I've had better even in just Richardson alone. I will say that service was very fast, especially during lunch hour on a Saturday. The Vietnamese Egg rolls were crispy but the filling was a little dry. They weren't the best Vietnamese egg rolls I've had, but they weren't bad either. I feel the same way about the Banh Mi. It was good but not the best. As for the pho - I do like how you can customize and they are pretty generous with the meats. The best thing about the pho was the meat - all the cuts I selected were fresh and tender. However, the broth wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked.
google avatar

Teresa L.

Yelp
Nice little Vietnamese spot. Great stew with French bread. Loaded with tender meat and veggies, the bread was the perfect accompaniment for the gravy. Served steamy hot. Also had a pork bahn mi sandwich, it was greatness. Perfect ratio of meat/veggies on fresh bread. Loved it. Service was friendly and prompt.
google avatar

Bianca D.

Yelp
So freaking good. Got a bahn mi and would definitely return for pho. Always packed and well worth it!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Good stuff. Best pho in the town. Service is fast and great. My favorite is chicken pho.
google avatar

Brian Q.

Yelp
Pho Bac has some of my favorite pho in DFW. The customization is much better than any other place! You can choose from 3 sizes and you can add any combination of meats. I always get the pho 'dac biet' which translates to 'special'. It's not listed on the menu but it's basically a combination of everything. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and they give you plenty of meat and veggies. Prices range from $10.50 to $14 depending on the size which is decent. What's outrageous is that they charge $6 for a Vietnamese iced coffee! They must think they are a Starbucks Reserve with that pricing. Pros: Awesome beef pho! Cons: Vietnamese iced coffee is ridiculously priced!
google avatar

Tae S.

Yelp
I have only had two things here. The place is crowded at lunch time and the restaurant is a good size. However, the tables move quickly. I had the beef pho, I believe it was the first choice. The pho hit the spot. Also ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and they were meh. I would go back again for the pho.
google avatar

Monicka C.

Yelp
Order: - Pho Tai (3.5/5) - Pork Chop (3.5/5) Pros: - Quick service - Authentic Vietnamese food - Large menu with a lot of options to choose from Cons: - Very busy so you will probably have to wait. Luckily, the wait isn't that long - I honestly felt like my pho was a bit bland and could have used more seasoning and the pork chop was too rich with soy sauce Overall: The food was okay. I would honestly give this place a 3.5, but am rating it a 4 as I don't really think it's a 3/5. I came to Dallas thinking the Vietnamese food would be mind-blowingly amazing as there is a very large Vietnamese population here, but the Vietnamese food I've had in Elmhurst, Queens, NY is a lot better with larger portions...
google avatar

Catalina A.

Yelp
The best pho I've had no other place compares to pho back. The most delicious pho ever. Tastes like home. I always get the spring rolls and beef pho.
google avatar

Khôi T.

Yelp
The best Pho In dallas, i love this place Nếu đang tìm một tô phở chuẩn vị, nước dùng đậm đà, thịt mềm ngọt, và bánh phở vừa đủ dai thì quán này chắc chắn đáng để thử!
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
I'm so confused as to why this restaurant had such a huge line, and I was told that this is the best pho restaurant in Dallas. I can list maybe 5 pho places in Austin that are better than this one, and Austin's Vietnamese food scene is abysmal. The pho itself had an incredibly bland flavor. I found myself adding whatever sauces and chili oils I could to just make it taste slightly better. The meat quality isn't good either, and they give you maybe one slice of meat per meat that you order. I only ordered four meats out of the maybe ten options they had, so I was pretty disappointed by the amount of protein. I also tried my mom's grilled pork rice dish. It looked well cooked, but it also lacked a lot of flavor. I will give points for their eggrolls. They definitely have some pretty delicious fried eggrolls. I definitely won't be back. If this is the best that Dallas can offer, I can understand why people come here. However, I'm a huge pho fan and was severely disappointed by how much flavor and richness their pho broth lacks.
google avatar

Jonathan F.

Yelp
Luckily I grew up nearby to Pho Bac. I don't know why I've never written a review yet, but this place definitely deserves to be known. My family has always either gone to Pho Pasteur or Pho Bac, and you really can't go wrong with either, but this is for Pho Bac. My usual go-to is their combination pho. On the menu you can choose size, meats, etc for their pho and I don't see combination listed anywhere, but I just tell the server that's what I want. I typically get the large and it fills me up just right. Another favorite of my parents is the Pho Ga Classic (chicken pho) and the red rice with fried cornish hen. My parents have chat with the owners once in a while and they do pride themselves in the quality if ingredients they use and always try to provide the best and freshest ingredients in all their dishes. It's no wonder they've been around since I was a kid and continue to do so well. They're often busy, but service is fast and you can always order food to-go. I usually come here at least once every time I come back to Dallas to visit my parents and will continue to do so.
google avatar

Ancelin G.

Yelp
The pho was good, and the portion size was huge. I ordered the medium chicken pho. The service was super quick too! The only thing I didn't like was that I felt rushed to place an order since multiple servers kept asking for my order every minute or so.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
Pho was great, they definitely delivered and are a true rival to pho Pasteur 1 + 2. They also have bánh mì and your standard in terms of Vietnamese drinks like Vietnamese coffee and lemonade Very crowded though so make sure you come early to be accommodated, especially if they have a large party.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
The whole restaurant smells like delicious beef broth when you walk in. And boy, was this place packed! Plenty of parking available. Ordered: Beef round pho (regular size) This place was delicious! The regular sized pho was enough for me. They were generous with their meats, and noodles. The broth was very flavorful, and warmed my tummy.
