I have been here many times. I always tell myself I’m going to get the pho, because, ya know, Pho Bang,. Yet every time I end up with the spring rolls and char-broiled pork vermicelli. The pork is great. I got an extra side of that this time. The peanut sauce good. The service is quick.

This is my favorite pho spot and a place I visit often because it is always reliable and easy to enjoy. The experience is simple, fast, and consistently good. - Very efficient staff and quick service - Food comes out fast, even when it is busy - Pho is always good and very consistent - Most of the staff does not speak much English, but everyone is very friendly Overall, it is a dependable place for great pho and one I am always happy to recommend.

My wife went to Phở Băng on W Walnut St with her friend on December 6, 2025, and it turned into one of the most DISGUSTING restaurant experiences we’ve ever dealt with. While she was eating her pho, she suddenly noticed there was a bug in the soup. Not on the table, not on the floor – actually in the bowl she was eating from. She had already taken multiple bites at that point. She stopped immediately, and they took the bug out of the bowl and set it aside. The photos attached are from after the bug was removed from the pho – you can clearly see it sitting there. Just imagine realizing you’ve been eating around that. On top of that, there was another bug at the front counter where you pay. So in one visit, there was a bug in the food and a bug at the register. That doesn’t exactly scream “clean, well-maintained kitchen.” It honestly made both of us feel sick just thinking about how many issues there might be behind the scenes if this is what’s visible. What makes it even worse is how it was handled. Even after all this, they still charged for the friend’s soup, the eggrolls, and the drinks, as if this was just some minor inconvenience. Once there’s a bug floating in a bowl of soup someone is actively eating, the entire meal is ruined. You don’t trust the food anymore, you don’t feel safe eating anything else from that kitchen, and you definitely don’t feel good about paying for the rest of the meal. We will not be coming back here, and I strongly caution anyone thinking about eating at this place. Food with bugs in it, another bug at the front counter, and then still charging for the rest of the meal is beyond unacceptable and honestly just nasty.

They gave us the wrong food. I asked explicitly for no meatball in one of the orders, only well done brisket & well done flank. Pointed & verbally advised. Two different people scoffed at me and one lady shoved me aside and muttered rude comments. The portions are bad, the food is over priced, and the flavor is lacking. Never coming back and cannot recommend this place. Will go to the plethora of other pho restaurants.

Phở doesnt have the taste & smell like Phở. Living in Houston but rarely go out for Pho because of the fear like this. But this time, we decided to go to try Pho in Dallas because of the recommendation on Tiktok & felt so disappointed

The best pho in Dallas. They are located in the same shopping plaza as one of the busiest Vietnamese grocers in DFW which is very apparent in the freshness of their ingredients. Garnishes (mint, basil, Thai basil, bean sprouts, peanuts, etc.) are all very fresh and crisp. Generous portions of meat. I’ve never had brisket in pho that was the same thickness as brisket in TX bbq. Pretty sure the meatballs are the ones made daily from the grocer next door. It’s the same 5 Vietnamese ladies working the floor every day and they are very fast and attentive. Amazing experience time and time again and fair priced. August 2024 We haven’t been back for a long time. This is still one of best Pho around this area. Beef broth is smooth snd flavorful, can’t get enough. Great grilled pork plate as well. I believe the sliced pork was cooked to order. The only down side is the corridor to the bath room is heavy congested and dark. It was the store room for their dry goods. Storage space is the struggle with most restaurants in this area. I waited in the corridor to ensure my young daughter is safe visiting the girls room. If you can overlook that, this is a good place to have a great pho and Vietnamese food. My rating as 5 is very satisfied. Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentive and Courteous 4/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Will I revisit? Yes Will I returned? Yes.

I always get pho with meatballs or the #17. Safe to say I come here once a week, sometimes even more. Literally 10/10 for me. I also want to say I did sat by the two girls who had a bad experience with the bug in their soup and I completely understand their frustration. However, to have your husband or boyfriend or whoever they are to review bomb this place is kinda wild. Mind you there’s multiple reviews about the same problem.

Pho Bang is not fancy, it's borderline a hole in the wall type of place but in my opinion... it is the BEST pho you can get in DFW. I have been coming here for YEARS and it still taste as good as ever. I usually get food to go. If you decide to eat there, remember, it's not a fancy place The broth is exactly how I prefer my pho AND it's consistent. Every time i crave pho I will come here and NO WHERE else. BTW, their egg rolls are pretty good too.

My wife went to Phở Băng in Garland (3565 W Walnut St A) with a friend on December 6, 2025, and it turned into one of the most disgusting restaurant experiences we've ever had. Staff took the bug out of the soup and set it aside, and she took a photo of it afterward. Just imagine realizing you've been eating around that. During the same visit, she also saw another bug at the front counter near where you pay. So in one visit: bug in the food, another bug at the counter. That is a massive red flag for cleanliness and pest control. Even after all that, they still charged them for the friend's soup, the eggrolls, and the drinks, as if this was just a small inconvenience instead of something that completely kills your trust in the kitchen. Once there's an insect floating in a bowl of soup someone is already eating, the entire meal is ruined. You don't feel safe eating anything else from that place. To make it worse, when I later called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager about what happened, the call was hung up on me. We've reported this to Garland Environmental Health and to the Texas Department of State Health Services, because this isn't just a bad experience - it's a serious sanitation concern. We will not be coming back here, and I strongly suggest anyone thinking about eating at this location look at the photos and think twice.

I had stopped coming to this restaurant because my son left his phone and I went back and they didn't want to give it back, after 9 months I decided to give them a try, well while I was dinning in with my family we see a roach crawling on the floor I told one of the waitress, she just killed it and kept walking. Im assuming the kitchen is probably more. I would not recommend coming to get pho there.

The best pho in garland that I've tried!!! The shrimp spring rolls are good as well. Speedy service!!

I have been here a couple of times, food is very consistent. I usually get the vermicelli or rice dish. I find their pho broth a little too oily but a lot of people seem to like it, they also let you customized what type of meat you want in your bowl.

The Pho does go Bang here. Bad jokes aside, this place is pretty solid. Located in one of the viet strip malls, it's one of those no frills pho spots that opens early (9?) and hits the spot if you're craving pho. Got the pho dac biet aka combination pho and it was FULL of meat. Brisket slices were absolutely delicious (see photos) and tender. Broth was flavorful and did the job, but had a little more oil than I would have liked (can't win em all!). Prices were great. Service was fast. Definitely one of the better pho spots in the area!

This isn't the first time this has happened and going to have to officially call it quits here. We got two orders of chicken pho to go tonight and got home and this was the chicken we got. And no, the brown piece that looks like a mushroom is actually chicken.

They have the best egg rolls that I ever had. I always ordered it evertime come to Dallas. Just wish that they have better restroom. Service is always fast make my hungry kids happy.

The service is alright there is a lot of people there who don't talk English so it's limited who can help you. Also in my opinion the pho is okay. It feels very fatty, I taste it and see it in the broth. Otherwise I appreciate the toppings they provide for you.

Best pho I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend it. Will be back to try some of their other stuff, but the ohi was delicious.

This is one of my favorite pho places in town! That's hard for me to judge because I am a Houston gal and there's a lot of pho places over there. However this place beats a hecka lotta places in the DFW area. The service is fast for as busy as they are. They try to tend to you as quick as possible. If you want a less busy environment, I'd go on a week day. Weekends here are insane!! They've got one of the best eggrolls in town because they use rice paper instead of egg roll paper. The portion of the eggrolls is big and it comes out so hot and fresh!! Pho has a lot of flavor and they do not skimp on meat noodles OR broth.

NOTE: Pho broth is only flavorful in the morning and lunch hours. They stretch the broth out at days end so this explains the inconsistent flavoring reports

Reasonable price, good portion, beef pho soup was sooooo good. Highly recommended guys. We ll be back.

YUMMM!!!! I loved their combo pho, and it's really worth for the price. They give a good serving of meat, and the broth is pretty good. Would def go again!

As restaurant name suggests, Pho is the highlight of this place. Unfortunately after Covid & inflation, all restaurants have adapted & it seems at home cooked meals reign supreme now. But occasionally, when time is limited, this is now my #1 vote for Pho bo. Come during the week. This is also my go to for grilled pork / thịt nuong with noodles or rice. Che here is good too- good value.

Amazing amazing amazing Pho!! I really wanted to try authentic pho because I've tried it in the past and could tell it wasn't the absolute best. I'm so glad I didn't write Pho off forever because it is absolutely delicious if made correctly. The service was absolutely amazing. We were greeted, told to sit down while I looked at the take out menu and got my order taken quickly and efficiently. My food was out in less than 5 minutes and it was fairly priced. Very impressed and will definitely be back!

My son was feeling under the weather and wanted some pho. We decided to try this place since it was close to us. I called in the order and the lady was nice. When I went inside I asked for crab rangoons because they were on the online menu, turns out they don't make them there. Another lady came in and took over the order I'm assuming the manager, i was confirming what pho I wanted (which I'm not familiar with, my son is the one who wanted it)after being confused by the number 4 and 5 the lady rudely snatched the menu away, I brushed it off as I didn't want to stoop to her level and proceeded to pay. Mind you it was close and convenient for me. Food was good overall and egg rolls were a bit overcooked. Restaurant looked pretty clean on the inside and was pretty busy. I don't think we will be returning to this one.

Pho soup was bad, it had sour taste but they were still selling for customers. So disappointed!

I was so hungry I forgot to take photos But there's not much to see. It was a quaint, presumably family/friend-owned shop. The auntie who served us was very kind. Pho Tai Gau - beef pho with eye of round and brisket. I added meatball. The broth was a bit lacking for me - not to say it's bad but it's just not my favorite. I prefer a richer, beefier, fattier broth and this was much lighter (maybe healthier, haha). So if you don't like too rich a broth you will like this place. The brisket was a bit chewy for me, as if it were over cooked and the moisture was leeched from the meat. But the meatball was next time I'd just get eye of round and meatball. Soda Sua Hot Ga (Soda with yolk and condensed milk) - THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD - I neeed to try making it one of these days. It's just floofy egg yolk with condensed milk in club soda and it's all creamy and fluffy and sweet. I love it!!! This really puts the word "soft" in soft drink.

First time here and I have to say it's the only spot that has good prices and different sizes of Pho. It's a whole in the wall and the owners don't seem to speak much English, but the food is great! I am glad I decided to try this place and I will be back :).

The BEST pho in DFW. The broth is amazing, there is basically never a wait time and food comes out fast. The building is a bit older but food makes up for it!

The best Pho I've ever tasted so far in DFW area. I used to like Pho Bac a lot but my opinion completely changed after I tried Pho over here. This is exactly the taste of Pho that I grew up with (Saigon southern style). I ordered #1 "Pho dac biet xe lua co bo vien". The bowl is huge and they give you lots of meat. There is a perfect balance between the noodles and meat. The broth is flavorful and tasty. We also ordered shrimp spring rolls (goi cuon) but we had to take them home because that Pho bowl made me so full that I can't eat anything else. I highly recommend this place, their Pho is very authentic (in my opinion).

There's no hot chili oil sauce for bun Bo so if you want it to enhance the taste you need to bring your own and it sucks. Service was rude by saying "what kind of bun Bo do you want, why don't you tell me specifically" oh well never come back again. The taste of pho was meh nothing special compare to other places around here. Taste of bun Bo was 3/10, I don't know why they mixed the noodle. The scissors got rusted or something dark on there. Photos for details . Sorry but this can't take my business here. The cashier also not friendly. He wasn't in the mood at work lol

The food has gone down in flavor ever since they've renovated the restaurant. It lacks meaty-umami-savory flavor, salt, and pho spices. It's citrusy, so I'm guessing I am just tasting coriander. I've came here 3 times recently and end up adding fish sauce and salt to make it taste less like water. The grilled pork chop for the rice dish was very dry and the fried egg was over-hard cooked instead of over-easy. Not sure what's happening in the kitchen that day. Service is pretty quick since it is usually not busy when I come. Definitely cleaner than it used to be 6 years ago.

Great place,my bf and I come all the time and at first got a lot of stares but kept coming back due to the food and prices and it's paid off,we'll be in and done with our food all within 45minutes, service is amazing and at this point they have our orders memerized.Lemonade is fresh with limes and pure cane sugar and it's so damn refreshing ,Weve been to a couple other pho places in between whenever they've been closed but man nothing beats this place by a LONG shot. i recommend everyone and their mother to come here if you're looking for some good noodle soup. My only and honest complaint is the spoons are smallest i've seen compared to other places but that's just my greedy self.

Great pho. A and I both ordered the pho dac biet and loved it. I normally end up adding sriracha to my soup, but I didn't even need to do that. Just squeezed the lime in the broth when adding my basil, sprouts, jalapenos, and cilantro, and it needed nothing else. I also want to give a shoutout to the service. The auntie who took our order was really sweet and made sure we were good. I'll miss how close this place was once I move away from Garland. :'(

I used to frequent this place every weekend for years. We stopped going because this place is dirty. No matter how good their pho is I will not eat at a dirty place. Most of the time, there's no soap or paper towels in the RR. and RR is always dirty. For a place that was remodel a few years ago, its really run down. Anthony Bourdain was right when he said "don't eat at a place if their restroom is dirty. Their kitchen is worst" I found so many hair in my food over the years. The last incident was the last straw. I saw a waitress sticking napkins from previous patrons at the table back in the napkin holder. I took them back out and inspect the other side. Sure enough, there was grease stains. That is disgusting. Napkins shouldn't cost you much and as much as this place bring in business, I don't condone this cheap behavour. I was curious of what their health score was after witnessing. Their health score was a 69 out of 100 as of early 2018. Anything below 70 is high risk FYI. I don't like that they don't clean their chopsticks and spoons well. We started buying our own chopsticks and spoons to bring with us to eat for awhile. After awhile, its just not worth it anymore. We found other places to eat.

This place is a very solid spot to checkout if you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine. It's in a predominantly viet area of the city so be sure to stop by the markets and experience other delicacies. Pricing here is pretty good, the large bowl of Pho is about $9 with taxes and such so $10. Plenty of different backgrounds of people come here to eat and that just makes it more special. The seating is moderate, they have tables lined up throughout the restaurant, if you have a huge party you might be slightly cramped but a group of 4 or less will be perfectly fine. The Pho is great and they have several options to choose from, definitely go here and grab a bite!

In my area there are dozens and dozens of Vietnamese restaurants. So far they have been consistently good with subtle differences. I most often order the Pho Tai - my goto meal. I enjoyed the great flavor of the broth. There were plenty of noodles and an abundance of meat. The service was speedy and efficient. One thing that really stood out was the Egg Rolls. I can't remember eating any like it before. Plenty of meat and crispy crust. We also got 5 or 6, not sure, which usually 3 is the max at most places. The food was good with service to match. It is a classic asian lunchroom. The ambiance is average but I didn't go there looking for sky painted on the ceiling. There were an abundance of asian folks eating, which is always a good sign. By all accounts this is a popular place - With all the good asian food in the area, that says a lot. I'd suggest you go there and judge for yourself. I think you'll be pleased. I'm pretty sure we'll go again in the near future.

I was skeptical the first time we went. Very plain. No frills. But once you get past that they've got good food. Consistently good food. And it's at a good price. And it's quick. The trifecta! If you are in garland it's worth your time.

I'm a little biased coming from Silicon Valley where there are Vietnamese restaurants on every other corner! Pho is a staple for our family especially when it drops below 40 When my husband and I walked in the aroma made us feel at home. We were helped right away and our pho was out in just a couple of minutes. In my opinion, the broth was a little bland! Both of us added salt. Hubby was sad to see they didn't have chili oil either, something he loves in his pho. The cafe sua da was on point but the egg rolls had a funny smell! I didn't feel sick or anything so maybe the fresh meat? Overall slightly disappointed given their high ratings! Definitely down to try again though.

Food is good, inside is fairly clean but they have fans rotating below lights and after a while they giveyou a headache. People with hypersensitivity with lights will not do well here.

Pho Bang has been around a really long time and it is a favorite for many in the community. The Pho is good and it is authentic as you can get. If you're in the mood for pho than this is a good place. The food comes out fast and they have a variety of Vietnamese dishes. Where Pho Bang falls shorts is it's cleanliness. There has been times where the dishes and utensils weren't very clean and there have been complaints about the condition of the restaurant overall as well. It's also located at a small building so it can be crowded at times. Recommendation: Because Dallas has many options for great pho, Pho Bang wouldn't be my first choice but this place does serve good Pho if you do end up coming here.

First time here and it was good enough for the fiver. I ordered the grilled pork chop with pulled pork and rice. Absolutely no complaints. The pork had great flavor. If I'm in the are again I would have no issues coming back.

I really enjoyed the Pho here. The broth is flavorful and the meatballs were really good (I typically don't like the meatballs). The spring rolls were okay but the peanut sauce was not good. Service was great.

Best pho in the area. I know pho can be very subjective, but let me tell you why I love this place. The waitress is nice. Service is fast. The brisket is the best I've had at a pho restaurant. The bo vien is also delicious if you like bo vien. Broth is aromatic. Don't even need to add other sauces. Don't forget to get the egg rolls. They use rice paper and I love it. Also get the orange juice, che and viet coffee.

Just finished eating my bowl of Pho and it was delicious! I got the #5 and my fiancé got the #10. We both thought it was great Pho! It's not the best Pho we have had in the DFW area but it definitely is the 2nd best so that's why I gave it a 4 star. Also I feel like the ambiance and environment is what keeps it from being a 5 but we'll definitely be coming back. They keep it cold so bring your jackets.

Where to go for Pho and Com Tam in DFW area. Pho is very flavorful and delicious with meatballs, brisket, and sliced beef. Broken rice is very good as well. Very large portion. Restaurant is clean inside with great service.

Pho Bang's Bun Bo Hue all the way!! We all know Pho Bang's pho is phenomenal but have y'all had their BBH?! It's spicy and flavorful without being drowned in chili oil and chili flakes. The slices of beef are fatty and scrumptious. The noodles are plentiful and long. It's so satisfying especially on a cold rainy day. I think this may be my new favorite place to get BBH... and they don't only serve BBH like some other places?! Highly highly recommend!

I've been a regular here since I was a baby so watching this restaurant change and upgrade is super crazy. The new owner renovated the interior design and it actually makes the restaurant seem bigger and less cramped even while they're packed. Their staff is always active though which I love. Not hard to get someone's attention if needed. I recommend their com bo luc lac if you're in the mood for a rice dish and the bon bo hue if you're in the mood for some noodles! Com Bo Luc Lac is such a basic rice and meat dish that hits all the right spots! This goes for the Bon Bo Hue too. It's very spicy so ask if you can tune down the heat just a bit because it can overpower the taste. But I love spicy food so I always get it as is. Their food is always served hot and I always leave very satisfied!!!

I soooo want to love this place. The staff Vietnamese aunties are so cute and nice and welcoming, and the counter dude was frighteningly efficient at ringing up my order. The place was perfectly packed too on a Sunday morning with that nice busy, cozy feeling while still not being too crowded. That being said, the food (pho, extra meatballs, fried eggrolls, and fried rice) fell flat. An unfortunately disappointing drive out to Garland. With so many others, I will not keep back (and this is why I review -- b/c in a few years, I might forget coming here)

I have lived in the area and eaten at Pho Bang for years.... I mean many years. Like the others have said the pho is good and authentic. My wife and I walked in recently and my wife got mad and said we are leaving. When we got into the car she called a friend and ranted for a few minutes in Vietnamese. She then turned to me and said we would never eat their again because it is filthy. It is unfortunate that the owner has the recipe and technique down to art, but is incapable of having the employees clean the place up. The dirt is from years of neglect.

Their service is fast and the it's self seating. - [ ] Not fancy at all so perfect for a day when you just wanna go out and eat quickly. When getting pho here, I recommend to get the large even if your not that hungry because its about $1 more and you get a lot more. - [ ] Tip: If you don't want hot soup during summer, get spring rolls (with no pork) and asking for a side of meatball. In my opinion the beefy meatballs taste way better than the pork they give you. You're Welcome.

My most recent visit was July 2021 and the pho was average at best. Unfortunately, at this time I do not recommend. Pho lacked flavor and depth. Please go back to your original recipe/process. You used to be the best pho in North Texas.

Hey now, that was a good bowl of Pho. In fact, that was a very good bowl of Pho. It's in a very busy old school shopping Mall in Garland. Now because I was working in Garland today was the only reason I tried it. Well, that and the fact I was craving Pho and Pho Bang had mixed but mostly good reviews. So on occasion my Google Maps trips on its own two feet and starts suggesting stupidity. Today it actually said that I would have to park and walk to my destination. Really! I had to call the Restaurant and get final directions. The place is bright and airy and you can tell that they get very busy at times. I greeted by an older woman (Grandmother type) and was escorted to my table right away. She did not speak English very well but she knew her business and suggested to best sling Appetizer. I kindly declined as this was lunch and being overly full and fighting sleep the rest of the day was of no interest to me. I order the same thing no matter where I am and simply asked for rare Steak and Brisket. As I usually do I asked where was the Bathroom to wash my hands and after passing by the months Restaurant supplies it was found in great condition, nice and clean. By the time I got back to the Table my Pho arrived. The Broth was clear and very tasty as Pho broth should be. This is kinda odd that there was an abundance of meat but the amount of Noodles was much less. I was cool because the meat is where it's at anyway. No hot oil at this one though. All the usual condiments were there except for the hot oil. That and the sticky Table got a Star deduction. I have to say, sticky table aside, that was still a great bowl and a filling inexpensive lunch. If I'm in the area again I would gob back in a heartbeat and I have no doubt they would be up on game, except mane for the Hot Oil. Some Restaurant's just don't serve it but I love it in my Pho at 9/10 Pho Restaurants I go to. I'll be back for sure.

This place is AMAZING. Consistently delicious Pho. 1. Clean broth 2. Perfectly cooked noodles 3. Balanced flavor 4. LOTS of meat and meatballs ( bo vien ) 5. Not salty, no msg crash 6. Clean restaurant. 7. Nice staff / owner / son Probably have dined at over 100 pho restaurants around the world.. this ranks at very top 100.

It's been more than 10 years since I first ate here and boy am I excited to say the bo vien tastes just like my first time!!! Consistency is on point. I'm from out of town and this is a must go to place for me to get my pho fix because there's no other place where I've had such amazingly delicious bo vien!! Highly recommend to get a side of extra bo vien for your pho and share the love because they're pretty generous (: Here's to my first meal of 2021--Happy New Year!
