Came here for dinner with my husband and friends during our Houston trip. I originally knew about this place from the Worth It show so we naturally decided that we should try it.
We were seated quickly. They had a QR code on the table for you to pull up a menu with but they also give you physical menus to look at. Their menu is super simple -- they had about two types of appetizers, pho, extras and drinks. That's it!
They normally have three different sizes available: large, medium, and small. But that night, they did not have small available. Not sure if it's something they just took off the menu or if it's temporary.
I decided to go with their medium Dac Biet pho, which has rare steak, brisket, tendon, and tripe. I really liked their soup base -- it was light, not too heavy, and pretty delicious. The noodles itself were a bit on the softer side. I think they cooked it a little bit too long. Would have liked a firmer texture. Meats were decent, pretty normal.
We also got an order of their Cha Gio Tom, which is their shrimp eggrolls. It came with 6 pieces and are smaller than regular the regular Cha Gio. They were cooked well and the shrimp had that nice bouncy texture to it, which usually means that it was pretty fresh.
Service was quick. We asked for extra sauce packets and they got it for us pretty fast. Coming from the West Coast, their prices are great!
Would recommend!
