Phở Bò Lâm

Another Michelin recommended pho shop in old quarters of Hanoi. This beef pho shop was packed to the brim at 7am with a line to boot. Got a number 7 on the menu and Chinese donuts on the side. Took about 15 minutes for the bowl to come up. Pho was clean and hot.

I arrived at 7:30AM on a Sunday and was immediately seated. The pho was good and the waitress took the time to actually ask for my drink order even though it was not written on the menu. Overall, a Good pho restaurant.

Amazing pho and juices just across the road. Sitting with the locals early morning watching the day start. The ladies working were very friendly and accommodating

Great experience at an Hanoi institution. We went at 730am on a Sunday and it was packed. Pho was good but had better in Vietnam. Broth very clear and meat tender. Great value.

I had a great time at this spot. You are literally sitting outsides the streets of Vietnam on those small plastic chairs eating local food while looking at bikes pass by. What's more Anthony Bourdain food adventures than that. The pho was very refreshing, the broth impeccable, the beef very tender (not softened with bicarbonate of soda). The atmosphere was also amazing, I think I got a discount on my condense milk coffee but the grannies spoke in their language so I just smiled everything off and said 'thank you' as they gave me some of my money back.

Amazing phở bò at a cant be more reasonable price. phở lõi gân is the best. The broth is sweeter than Phở Khôi. If u want a flavorful broth, this is for u. A lighter and more complex broth will be what Phở Khôi delivers to u. But the price is significantly higher. Both are must try in Hanoi

Come here for a traditional bowl of Pho. We are here 4 mornings in a row. The pho was nothing like we have in Australia. A bowl kept us full all morning. Every day we were the only westerners there which added to the experience. They were great with our 6 year old son.
