Pho Cong Noodle& Grill

My girlfriend and I dined here on a Tuesday morning to celebrate our anniversary. The food was great! Big portions, great taste. The workers were friendly and the food was ready in no time. Seriously, this is my new favorite pho place. We'll definitely be back.

The food was very good. The service excellent!! The coconut smoothie was delicious!! I will go back for sure.

We happened to stop here by accident while we were in town. Everything turned out so delicious and authentic. We had the bun Bo hue, pho and short rib rice platter and everything tasted so good! The owner is super nice and the service is top tier! She gave us the grilled pork sandwich and it turned out perfect. I wish I have more time to stay so we can try everything!

Our family of 5 have Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Spicy Noodle Soup and Banh Mi and everything is amazing. We’re Vietnamese and we confirm that this place has very authentic foods. I’m so relieved to eat here and definitely comeback here next time.

Best Pho ever i drove an hr and half just to eat here because no one in our surrounding area can top the flavor and perfection this restaurant serves. The staff are wonderful pleasant ladies. Great experience every time.

Great hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant. This is a very good authentic Vietnamese food. Food quality was great. Restaurant was clean and very inviting. Absolutely delicious! Huge servings and great prices. This will definitely be my new go to for pho. Was very busy when we went but the wait times for food to be brought out was still very good. Bubble tea was great. It wasn’t overly sweet which I appreciated.

Excellent! The pho was very well done. Everything was very fresh, seasoned well but not overly so. The place is small so it was a little tight at lunchtime, but a crowded restaurant usually means it's a good restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

Visited Pho Cong for the first time today and was amazed at how busy they were. This place seems to be a lunch hot spot. And I can see why, hands down the best pho I have ever had. The fried egg rolls were also very good. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back.

My daughter and I love this place and I don't typically eat pho food. My favorite thing here is their boba with tapioca beads. I've had boba at 2 other Northshore spots that specialize in boba, and this place is still better. I highly recommend this place!

Best pho I've had on Northshore. Great service. Good portion/price ratio. Delicious grilled tofu on banh mi & tofu option for pho and spring rolls. (a lot of people don't know how to make the tofu this tasty!)

This spot came highly recommended by a fellow Pho enthusiast. I came in on a Saturday afternoon, place was buzzing and I was served relatively fast. I went for the house spicy beef soup aka P15 and I was not disappointed. The marriage of the spices and the tender beef made for a highly satisfying meal. My only regret is that I didn't order the larger option.

Best Vietnamese anywhere, we have traveled in Vietnam, this is the place. Nice people and great food! P15 soup amazing!!! Vietnamese Crepe crispy and wonderful. Spring rolls are great. It's become more busy but worth the wait!

I used to travel to New Orleans to get pho but after having a bad experience at the restaurant I liked I was in search of a new place. One day my sister and mom took me here. The dinning area is a bit small but the staff is consistently friendly and professional. I later found out the chef from my old spot moved to this location. Which made sense because the food wasn't the same at the old spot. I'm home now at Pho Cong. It tastes just as i remembered it when I lived in New Orleans. I order the same thing every time and it's perfect every time. Seafood Pho and Vietnamese egg rolls. The main difference i find about their pho compared to other places I've had is their broth. It's light, delicious flavor that makes you want to drink the left over juices after you finish eating lol. I can also appreciate the fresh veggies which are delectable. Hands down this place is number one for pho for me.

Never a bad meal at pho cong. The steam buns and grilled pork plate with rice is awesome. Do not pass it up. As an added bonus during carnival you can pre order dong phong king cakes here.

This is the best pho place on the northshore the dumplings where so fresh 10/10. The pork steamed buns where also pretty good 7/10. I got the chicken pho 9/10 on the sweeter side for me but delicious. My fiancé got the rare steak and brisket 8/10. And the boba teas are to die for!

This place has top notch with quality vietnamese dishes and cusines! Pho broth is perfectly seasoned to my liking. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet along with their slushy coffee. Highly recommend if you enjoy Pho or Vietnamese dishes in general.

Love this place! We eat here often. My favorites are the house beef soup, lemongrass soup and coconut shrimp salad. Yum!

Wow usually I'm not very impressed about food but today I was overly impressed by photo Kong noodle in Grill in The Rouses shopping center in Covington.Usually I'm not a fan of all places they all seem to be alike but this one is definitely different. I had the simple marinated grilled pork chop over lettuce with egg fried rice marinated vegetables and soup. Honestly it's one of the best meals I've had in quite a long time and it only cost $13 with tea. I'm actually thinking about going back there tonight and taking my wife.

Apparently, this place is well liked by people that know something about Asian food. I've liked all the dishes I got there, especially the pho and bahn mi. Everything I've seen looks good. My only complaint is the sweetened fish sauce has just a touch too much of ah er fish sauce, but I understand that they can accommodate you with other sauces if you prefer. Nice place with good service.

They have the best pho on the Northshore and their lunch specials - especially the grilled shrimp - are excellent.

Pho Conf is an awesome little Pho and BahnMi shop in Covington. Their Beef Pho has such a delicious flavor and the grilled pork BahnMi is the best! I love doing the combo, and we usually start with fresh chilled Shrimp Springeolls and peanut sauce. We also always end with a carry out Boba! Great delicious food, Service is also very good.

We loved our experience at Pho Cong Noodles & grill. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is very clean, there is a lot of convenient parking, and the food is fantastic! Based on the servers recommendation I ordered the house spicy beef pho, it was not spicy at all but very flavorful. It easily could be shared between two people with a shared appetizer. We also ordered the pork bahn mi which did not lack in flavor or meat, we also ordered the lemongrass beef on the side and that was phenomenal! They're banana boba was also very good. We were super impressed thank you for a fantastic meal.

Excellent Pho! You know it's a great Vietnamese joint when they are busy on week days at odd hours! I ordered brisket, steak, and meatball pho, the broth was PACKED with flavor, I usually add sriracha but it only would have ruined the great flavor packed in the broth. The meat was all tender and great portions. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the service was speedy and punctual. I challenge you to go in looking for complaints, bet you still won't find anything to complain about!

This place is out of the way for sure! Traffic and more traffic. Did i mention this place has an unusual way of entering? It's in the large shopping center, tucked in the back. I think I almost got in a car accident. Was it worth it? Totally!!! I really think I found my pho place. The broth was on point. Flavorful and Hearty. Its similar to how my mom makes it at home! I was sooo hungry, I forgot to take pictures of my small pho bowl. My friend and I both got the Pho and Sandwich combo! Amazing deal for $11. The grilled pork banh mi was heavenly! The "butter" they used is definitely homemade. The grilled pork itself was flavorful! The pho can hold its own without any "bejazzed" added to it (siracha and hoisin). I do exactly the same in all my pho...two concentric circles, size of large half-dollars, of siracha and a dime sized dollop of hoisin sauce. Basil, cilantro, bean sprout and slices of jalepenos. Don't forget the squeeze of lemon or lime to add another level of flavor to your dish. I definitely want to try their Vietnamese crepe next time to see how it compares to my mom. I miss my mom's cooking as she is in Dallas and I'm down yonder.

Here's another Vietnamese restaurant on the Northshore and they are doing it right. I ordered the combination pho today and it was delicious! I asked for extra tendon and they did not disappoint; I can feel my bones knitting already! Just kidding, but there was a lot of tendon and it was cooked perfectly. In fact, the bowl was as good as I have had, maybe with the exception of Christian's broth...but he cheats and makes it amazing. The fresh basket included cilantro and basil, along with the bean sprouts and lime, and the jalapeños were fresh and crunchy. I will definitely be back here for some delicious soup and I'm looking forward to checking out the Bun and Banh Mi. Oh! And get the Vietnamese coffee, it's scrumptious!

We were visiting the area for a week. A pleasant surprise. Great Asian cuisine. in central Louisiana. My partner said it was the best Pho she has had. I had a noodle dish with a variety of proteins. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Well worth the visit.

I love this place. The rice plates are my favorite. Grilled chicken and pork every time after some steamed buns and spring rolls. Great service, owner is very kind. Used to go 2-3 times a week when I was working in the area. Still make time to go every couple weeks. Eat here!

My favorite pho to get here is the seafood pho. Add a little bit of tofu in there and it's better than chicken noodle soup any day of the week! Better than any soup actually!

We ordered take out from here first time today. We love Pho and their Pho is sooo good. The broth is nothing less than amazing! the chicken was soft and tender in huge slices to drop down into that flavorful broth. Yum! And, the grilled pork sandwich was delicious. Just wait until you taste that bread! This may have been a first visit, but for sure not the last.

I'm a fan of this place and I'm Asian. I'm generally hesitant of ethnic foods on the North Shore or Louisiana in general since I'm from Los Angeles but I can vouch for the flavor profile here, especially the soup. The broth is far from bland and has a nice profile. Good pho broth is hard to come by, especially if it can stand alone without the condiments like hoisin sauce, etc. I'm glad I was introduced to this place. The quality is always good and consistent. I've tried several dishes and I'd order all of them again. To top things off, this place is clean and has great service. They are also kind. Stop thinking about trying this place, and just go for it!

Clean, cool, great food. Very tidy and well kept and food gets out fast. Unlike a lot of pho places, they keep the condiment bottles full, clean, and wiped down - that means a LOT to me....nothing like washing your hands then getting back to the table to grungy condiment bottles. Anyway, been here more than a dozen times now, and have no complaints at all.

I've eaten at most of the Vietnamese places in Mandeville and Covington, and Pho Cong is the best, hands down. I was really surprised at how bland and expensive the other local pho places were. I gave up on pho on the Northshore until this place opened. The key to a success pho is in the broth. Pho Cong's broth is heavenly, with the right amount of spices steeped in; they don't hold back. In addition to their heavenly broth, they also make other Vietnamese staples extremely well. The fried tofu appetizer is a welcome change to the usual spring rolls or dumplings. In addition to pho, they also serve banh mi sandwiches. The key to success in the banh mi is the bread and this one does not disappoint. If you're feeling extra gluttonous, they offer a pho and banh mi lunch combo. It's a lot of food and I couldn't put down that many carbs in one sitting, but I'm sure others appreciate it. Because of their dual pho and banh mi offerings, their menu is fairly limited, without 50+ permutations of beef pho combinations. I appreciate the simplicity when I'm pressed for time during a weekday lunch. Lastly, service is superb. I've walked in within minutes to spare to closing time and they've always served me with a smile and no huffing and puffing. They're fast during the lunch hours and attentive to needs. But wait, there's more! They sell Dong Phuong king cakes during the Carnival season on a first come, first serve basis. What more can you ask for?

This place was recommended to me by a stranger & I'm so glad they did. I ordered the pork spring rolls with peanut sauce, pork steamed buns & rare steak/brisket pho. All were full of flavor & much better than average. Pho Cong is now on my list of go-to pho restaurants. Prices are very reasonable.

We stop by here for lunch on the way to Baton Rouge ! Let said hand down the best Vietnamese food I haven't in a while. Service was great the waitress made sure we was well taking care of! We order the pho and bo loc lac platter . Steam pork bun for appetizers. My kids are picky eater and they both ate ! We will sure try to stop by again on our way at home ! It's worth the drive in !

These pork and chicken steam buns are the perfect snack size! The meat and cilantro are cravable in these soft, chewy buns. So yummy!!!
