I’m usually not this critical so sorry not sorry in advance, I feel like I have to be honest tnx for understanding <3
Was expecting a lot better considering how popping the place is whenever I past it. I wanted something different from your standard pho so i went with some meatball soup. Delivered to the table early
as well as my party’s traditional pho and a rice plate.
Meatball soup— This shouldn’t be on the menu…. if the meatballs remain too firm, make them soft and meltable in your mouth. Also could use more seasoning.
Traditional pho— Only tasted a bit but seemed pretty okay, just season to your preference
Rice plate & Spring Rolls— I’d also consider getting the chefs together or whoever is in charge to get it together. Pork too chewy, veggies and dry noodles were, well, they were on the plate but not exactly “restaurant quality.” Scissors would be greatly appreciated to cut the lettuce into bite sizable pieces. I shouldn’t have to do so much just to make my meal meh, not great. I literally added sriracha, chili oil, salt n pepper, and it still wasn’t half as good as another place I’ve had pho in its in national city near a tailor.
Maybe it’s only rated highly since it
might the only pho place in Mira Mesa? Or because most people will order the most popular dishes and automatically assume it’s all good from there. I’ve also done that, i’m no better than you dear audience, enough rambling, I don’t recommend. If you NEED something from them, stick to the most populars. On a positive note, the painted wall is well made:) sorry for not including a pic I already left haha. The interior design, a vibe. Food? That’s where it starts to get messy.
