First time there. Clean friendly waiter/waitress. Food is good. I was asking if the tendon rice noodle was properly made because there was very little tendon in the noodle (comparing with any other Pho places I have been to). The waiter was very friendly explaining yes it was made the way it was supposed to be. And he also totally understood my confusion (like many other customers) and even brought an plate of extra tendon for me while apologizing for the way it is. I really appreciate the gesture to make customer happy and make things right. Will I go there again? Absolutely yes but likely with other dishes/choices.

I had a good experience at Pho Dakao! The spring rolls were excellent! I got the chicken vermicelli bowl, which was good, but not phenomenal. My boyfriend got the combo pho and his was good but not great as well. The servers were nice and the place was clean and welcoming. I will definitely return!

The food is absolutely amazing. The portions are big for the value you are getting. Also the costumer service is perfect. I am regular and the server already knew my order before I could open my mouth lol. Definitely come here to eat!

Hankering for something ethnic after a long day at work... thinking cheesesteak... but the summer heat makes me want to eat lighter... Inspiration strikes.. Banh Mei for Me!!! Pho Dakao is tucked away in a corner of a strip mall. The space is uncomplicated, clearly focused on catering to the hungry customer. The menu is up on brightly lit LED screens, and I am greeted efficiently and guided to my table for 1. Its 815 p.m., and they close at 830, but the restaurant is still half full on a Thursday night... I ordered the pork banh Mei and the spring rolls. When they arrive, I am amazed at how large the portions are... these are not delicate. They are meant to SATISFY!!! The pork was amazing. Seasoned just right without being dripping wet. And when the meat is not dripping wet, the bread retains its delicate crunch. These guys get that balance perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed it Spring rolls were jumbo sized. Bursting with basil and freshness Will definitely return and bring friends!!!

I Love Pho and traveled almost 8 different states for job and my hunt for the flavor always intact and so far the best taste I ever had just not pho even thai tea is across my new home in Smyrna. Guys try Pho here and try other places I don't have to say any word about this restaurant further. This is my number 1 in top taste Pho restaurants list before number 2 "I Love Pho" in dallas,TX One small update that I would love to see in the uber eats app for this restaurant is extra sprouts in pho option 😅

Pho Dakao never misses! My wife and I came in today and had an incredible experience yet again. I ordered the Chicken Pho with veggie broth this time, and to my surprise, it was even better than the regular chicken broth versions I’ve had before. The flavor was rich, clean, and absolutely delicious. My wife had the beef broth and loved every sip/bite. But the real standout today? The pork egg rolls. Hands down, some of the best we’ve ever had: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The service was also top-tier. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. They were attentive, kind, and accommodating, which always makes the experience that much better. We’re regulars and will continue to support this amazing local gem. Highly recommend Pho Dakao to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Vietnamese food and genuine hospitality!

Absolutely exquisite ! Finally stopped by today to try pho dakao in Smyrna and I am extremely glad I went. Tucked away in the corner of the Smyrna shopping plaza, is this absolutely beautiful and delicious Vietnamese restaurant. Upon entering the atmosphere and area is very clean. I was greeted very kindly by a waitress who quickly seated me. Started off with the veggie egg rolls that were so crispy warm flaky and delicious. The veggies is inside tasted so fresh. The star of the restaurant is of course the pho! I ordered a veggie pho noodle soup and the taste was immaculate!! The veggies, the shiitake mushrooms , the broccoli, the bean sprouts, the mint leaves…all the veggies tasted so crunchy and fresh ! The soups are very customizable by adding siracha or black sauce or both to enhance the broth flavor! Absolutely in love!! The cleanliness in this restaurant definitely stands out! I felt very welcome and left satisfied! Thank you pho dakao team for my meal! I will definitely come back

Pho on a rainy day is always a good idea! Met up with family who lives in the area, as we are driving home. The restaurant can pack a good number of customers in what you'd think was a small space. We got in just before the rush, and as we were getting ready to pay and leave, every table was full. There's plenty of options for everyone on the menu. This place has beef broth, chicken broth, and veggie broth pho!! You can modify your spring rolls (they're not pre-made). Ordering happened pretty quickly, and food came out in a timely manner. The Banh Mi (not pictured) my brother ordered took some time to come out and it took us a while to pay out. Overall, good environment, delicious food, great experience.

Five stars all day. Facility, food, and service is five stars. Ordered Banh Mi Pork to eat (dine in), and ordered Papaya Salad with Pork, Fried Egg-rolls, and Pho Chicken to go. Highly recommend

I came in and ordered veggie pho and it took less than 5 minutes to arrive! Fast service, tasty food. The pho was hot with fresh vegetables. The staff here are Nice staff.

The service is great here and I really enjoy the banh mi sandwiches they have. The pho to me is on the bland side, I wouldn't go back here for pho but the Banh mi and Thai tea are delicious.

Hey I don't have a bad thing to say about this food or my experience. It was cold this past Saturday so we craved Pha and were shopping on Cobb Parkway so we gave this place a try. It was already packed around noon but we were seated right away and provided drinks and condiments before ordering our food. I am glad they have 3 sizes to choose from and we ordered the small bowls at 14 bucks each. Both were very flavorful and filling. We also tried the crispy veggie spring rolls so good! Will be back.

Order iced coffee, springrolls (clear noodles) and V1 ..... fantastic . They have an open kitchen and looking at the chefs , I knew this was going to be the best ..

Was feeling down and wanted some comfort food so Pho was my go-to. This was close to me and saw the good reviews so I'd give it a try. The service was good, and always is since I've been here a couple of times. I'm always served quickly and seated immediately. The Pho is always amazing. Great temperature, great portion size, great flavor. They have all the extra ingredients to add; hoisin, cilantro, jalapeños, Sriracha, lime, bean sprouts, you know, the works! The place is clean down to the bathrooms, and they have TVs so you can the news and even some good ol Pink Panther on YouTube. Give it a try! It's busy around lunch time and early dinner but it's still worth a try! Great price, great food, real Pho, and a great atmosphere!

Our go to spot for Pho around Smyrna, since driving to Buford Highway is quite a hike. We have done take out several times and this is our first time dining in. We came in on a Tuesday evening around 5:30 pm and our service was pretty fast. We would definitely be getting pho, since it's a perfect comfort food on cold days

They said they had everything for my togo order, but the peanut sauce was gone. I'm disappointed.

Everyone here is very friendly, the service is fast, and the restaurant/bathrooms are clean. The food is good! I ordered the P2 (add veggies) and shrimp spring rolls. I will definitely return.

We were planning to have our meal at next door mexican restaurant, but on an impulse decided to try this location. We ordered chicken & shrimp soup and a pork bowl. The broth had no flavor., accompanying sauces also did not add to the taste. Overall below average food.

The bánh mì tasted good and was packed with meat which is always a great thing. I thought the wait staff wearing hoodies while taking orders and serving food was... interesting... Did not change the way the food tasted though! Pretty good.

Food was real decent here. I order the grilled pork vermicelli and the Vietnamese papaya salad. I love papaya salad and this style was different from what I grew up with. But not in a bad way. It was sweet and not spicy (in my opinion). The vermicelli was done nicely. I think the egg roll was the best part of the dish tbh. The meat was my least. It just seemed to be missing something. Other than that, from wait times and the wait staff I will still give it 4 stars. Definitely when I visit again, I would go there.

I guess. Its Cobb County so I don't think there are a lot of places to choose from. That being said... it's good for the area. I have been there several times but this time they pissed me off and then I got mad at myself for not sending the pork only spring rolls back when they first came but... why the hell would I order those when all I want is fried food since I am supposed to be dieting lol AND why would I ever order something without shrimp when I love shrimp and always try to eat them when I'm not with hubby who is allergic but I digress . all in all it's worth checking out when in Smyrna and have a craving for Vietnamese food. Service is usually fine and it's always nice and clean.

Came to Pho Dakao with some friends. They discovered over a discussion that I had never trues Pho before and brought me to try it for the first time. It was a great experience! The team was super friendly and the Pho was great. The Broth had an excellent flavor, balanced with the brisket. The next time it in the mood for Pho I'll definitely be back to try another dish!

Awesome Pho restaurant, I was introduced to pho about 30 years ago by my best friends family recipe, since then I just love to try different pho restaurants and there are a lot more now than 30 years ago. I travel a lot and eat a lot of pho across the country, this is some of the best pho I've ever had, you can taste the pride in this pho like my friend's family recipe. Other dishes like summer rolls are fresh and hearty, just everything about this place you can taste the quality. Service is great as well, obviously mom and pop, but all servers have been excellent, friendly and attentive. Now visiting this restaurant regularly for about 5 years, and have never had anything less than a great experience... so I always try to visit Pho Dakao when in the ATL area.

The restaurant was clean. Service was quick and attentive. We ordered brisket pho and a kid fried rice. Pho was on point, though the soup could be hotter for it to be warm longer. The bean sprouts are fresh and crunchy (I hate soggy bean sprouts!). Kids love their fried rice. I like it too, not greasy and lightly seasoned.

My husband and I came across Pho Dakao when we grew tired of heading all the way out to Buford Highway every time the craving for pho emerged. For hot, rich bowls of hearty broth with noodles, this place hits the spot. Any pho bowl can be ordered in three different sizes - medium, large, or x-large (with incremental price increases with each), and the broth of my usual tofu pho has always been remarkably deep and tasty, especially with the add-in herbs and sprouts that come with each order of pho. Recently, I caught sight of the other side of their menu, where they feature a vegan pho (the extra-large is only $14, which is a steal considering how large the bowl is!). My husband bounces around the menu every time he comes, and there were a few misses, such as the odd grisly piece of meat. He's also come to find that the pho far outshines the vermicelli bowls on the menu. Even still, there's nothing that's been so sub-par that we wouldn't come back for another meal. Service is always fast, polite, and responsive, making Pho Dakao our go-to place for solid Vietnamese food.

Service was amazing! Everything! Food was amazing!! Unfortunately, I threw up 30 minutes right after eating the steak pho with tripe and a side of fried rice. So disappointed I was so excited. Perhaps I got a bad scoop. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING!!!!! Downside was throwing up.

Not all restaurants are a Cheesecake Factory, which means that establishments should not be putting things on the menu things they simply can't prepare. Sadly, Pho Dakao was one of those examples. Let's start with its star dishes, which are the Steak Pho and the Combination Pho. Combination pho was frankly excellent. Delicate, juicy and flavorful pieces of meat. A light broth that has a mild and subtle flavor. Complimented with some bean sprouts that were of second grade quality, many starting to rot. Basil was also a bit beat up from handling. But, the star dish was quite good. Yet, here is where the Cheesecake Factory element comes in. The Chicken Pho, which is fairly not their speciality, was served with chicken so tough, it was inedible. Chewy and over cooked, impossible to eat. While the rest of the chicken pho and the broth were pleasant, it was a bit disappointing as a meal to cook a protein like that. People working here are very kind and due to that, I simply cannot give it a lower rating. After forgetting about bahn mi that was ordered, they brought a sweet tea to go to say sorry. Very attentive and fast as well. Another important element, the design is very tasteful and incomparable to most hole in the wall Pho establishments in the city, while keeping the prices very reasonable. Yet, I would recommend Yelpers to also consider the consistently low health scores over last four years, which is quite an alarming indicator of what happens in the back.

Food is ok. We got the pho and though it was ok it wasn't great. I was excited to find a place for pho nearby but I think I'm going to have to keep driving to chamblee for Vietnamese food.

I'm on a mission to find some of the best Pho in Atlanta. So far this one is it! I need authentic pho with vegetarian options with an amazing vegetarian broth. This one was and 5 stars. Super convenient and pricing was good.

I've been consistently ordering vermicelli with pork and shrimp. Lately the quality has been decreasing with every order. I get nothing but Slabs of fat in comparison to the meat. Portions are also inconsistent, some days less noodles or vegetables or combination of both. The egg roll is burnt with EVERY order.

Good veggie options, and reasonable prices! I got the veggie stirfry to go and really enjoyed my food! Only taking off one star because I had a little bit of a stomach ache after, potentially from too much sauce. Overall, the flavors were good, and the food was ready quickly!

I went to this Smyrna location for my birthday, and I have to say a lot of good things about this spot. Song was our waiter, and he was awesome! I asked him if we could sit outside and he set us up perfectly. I told him that I usually get the P1 (Steak Pho), and asked him if I should get anything else. Song informed that if I like steak, the combo pho had steak, flank, and brisket. So I ordered that and I'm glad I did. I was thoroughly impressed flavors presented in their pho. The the quality of food provided here is truly vibrant. This team really knows what they are doing here. The pho I had, the taste, genuinely made me happy. It's really nice to know that places like this still put their heart and soul into cooking delicious meals. I will for sure be back.

Since we were feeling under the weather, we ordered this for takeout and did not sit inside. We got 2 medium brisket phos, and an appetizer combo. The appetizer combo came with spring rolls and egg rolls. I'm not a big fan of spring rolls in general but they were good, even though I won't be getting them again. The egg rolls were crunchy, flavorful and very tasty. Honestly just 1 of the medium phos was more than enough for the 2 of us to share! We saved the leftovers for lunch the next day. The brisket pho was great. It had plenty of meat, the noodles were good and the veggies were fresh. The broth was aromatic and satisfying! An overall good takeout experience.

Best pho ever, If I could give them 10 stars I would!! I go here at least 2-3 times a week, the restaurant is clean, the service is always excellent and they remember my order every time. Whether lunch or dinner, sunshine or rain this place will never disappoint.

Great Pho! Tried Uber Eats for the first time. I would not suggest this for order that require some thing you need to eat very hot (Pho soup base ). Although it didn't take him much time I think by the time he picked it up It might have sat there awhile and the ice in the drink melted . I was just craving for I had ordered from this place and picked it up before but had a busy day and thought I would try or order yet via Uber eats not doing this again! The soup for the Pho needs to be as hot as possible so it can cook the meat and other things you put in the soup. So I heated it up! I ordered the Pho combination and ask for extra brisket pretty good deal for $1.50 more! I ordered something that didn't agree with me and Ann was very accommodating and try to find me something that wasn't so salty and was agreeable - the shrimp spring roll! Very tasty! Will go back and continue to go back !

We got our order to go , I'm sure it would have tasted much better had we ate there. We took ours back to the hotel in which it got cold. We ordered Pho with steak and one with chicken. Also ordered the vermicelli with chicken. Very great flavor , I added hoisin and sriracha sauce to it. The beef and chicken broth for the pho was very tasty fueled my soul! I would return for sure

Love the Chicken Pho here, however recently picked up order and was disappointed to see a .75 Togo fee added to check. Think that is a bit much, it will probably be a while before I order anything to go here!

We've had a lot of Pho and this was up there with some of the best! The broth was so flavorful on its own, which is always a big win. The noodles were a great texture. We got the steak pho and brisket pho. The bowl came with lots of meat and the medium was the perfect size for us. Great service and clean restaurant.

Let me preface by saying I'm not Vietnamese, but I have had lots of pho before and Pho Dakao's pho is one of the tastiest I've had. Their broth is beefy, salty and full of umami. My sister and I shared a medium pho combo (forgot to take a pic), which was worth sharing for two people. The noodles were nice and tender with decent portion of meat. We also shared the pork and shrimp rolls. My favorite part of the spring rolls was the sauce. It reminded of lumpiang sariwa (fresh spring roll) sauce in the Filipino culture. Their service was also on point! We got our food quick. I highly recommend this place if you don't feel like driving to Buford Hwy for pho.

This was my second time eating from here. I have eaten oriental food before especially Vietnamese. The food was most definitely a 5 out of 5. You can not go wrong w. Anything on the menu! I think where things took a turn for me was when the entree I requested was going to take a few more minutes than my other party. I didn't care I just didn't want just rice. Since I don't like rice like that. Anyway, the waitress must've thought I never ate from here or Vietnamese food because I wasn't dressed down like I normally do when I come dine in. But it wasn't busy and I had a long day. I just didn't need instructions on how to pour in the dressing for my entree. Also the to-go container I wanted were the ones they used for delivery orders since the dressing was runny and I didn't want it to spill in the bag. They told me I could used those boxes. But it did not make sense to me because we had already dined in and tipped well. I will come back to give it another try hopefully I will have a better experience.

Delicious Pho! Not the best ever but would come back again for sure. Next time I want to try to vermicelli bowl or the lemongrass chicken. Looked amazing!

This place is really good for ramen, unfortunately they did get both orders wrong when we went. Although it was still delicious kind of disappointing it was not what we asked for. The waiter never came to check on us either and that is something that really bothered me. The place had 4 tables of people seated and the staff were sitting at a table on their phones. For starters, we got the pork banh mi. This was actually my favorite item we ordered. It was good. The pork was marinated and cooked really well. We decided to give the spicy lemongrass chicken and brisket pho a try. The spicy lemongrass chicken definitely has a kick to it, which I really enjoyed. I love the lemongrass flavor along with turmeric. I was not feeling the fried rice. It tasted like it was made with brown rice instead of white rice. I should've ordered this plate with some gold ole jasmine rice instead. The brisket pho was alright. The broth was definitely not the best I've had and needed more seasoning. The Thai milk tea was great!

So so soooo good. I am visiting from Houston, where we have thee best Pho hands down. I know good Pho when I taste it. This was DELISH!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
