Best Pho Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"Find tasty phở and a modern dining atmosphere at this restaurant quietly situated in the corner of an Asiatown strip mall, just off of Bellaire Boulevard, The broth is known for its light, slightly sweet taste and aromatics. Beef, chicken, and shrimp phở are all options, but the stand out is the phở đuôi bò — a rich and meaty oxtail pho. Here, every meal ends with a complimentary dessert of thạch, a Vietnamese sweet jelly cake." - Minh Truong

Best mì quảng in Houston imo, better than many places in Vietnam. Just the right amount of liquid (it's not a soup!) and so many textures. Generous amount of protein and fresh herbs/vegetables. The seasoning was on point, bold and savory with a bit of heat. Fresh noodles! The phở here is pretty good too.

We got pho in a stone bowl with fatty brisket and filet on the side. The broth was incredibly flavorful and delicious! However, we were disappointed that they were out of oxtail and bone marrow, as we were really looking forward to trying those. The hot stone bowl was a fun experience at first, but it did make the soup TOO hot. We couldn’t eat directly from the bowl and had to ask for a regular bowl on the side just to enjoy our meal comfortably. Overall, the flavors were fantastic, but the extreme heat of the stone bowl wasn’t for us. We’ll still come back, but order just a standard bowl next time!

I've been a regular at this Pho joint for years. It's one of the best & also it has really good Mi Quang. I'm very picky about pho mainly because of the broth. The broth here is super good & also when you order the special or "dac biet" you get what you paid for. Lots of meats & cuts. I only will go here to get my pho fix. Also the service is really good, I never had a bad experience coming here & I've been coming for years. Update: So 9.5 out of 10 times when I go to Pho Duy I would dine in. I tried take out because I couldn't stay to eat & the packaging was super. I ordered my usual Pho Dac Biet & Mi Quang (for lunch tomorrow) & I loved how they packaged it. All the condiments & plenty of veggies (Mi Quang has special veggies for it & they packed a lot of it), even hoisin & siracha packets were included for the pho. They were not skimpy at all. The pho was just as much as if you were dining in. It's a lot of food. But I need to give credit where credit is at with the Mi Quang. This noodle dish does not have a lot of broth. They were able to get a container that holds up the broth needed & the noodles. That's genius & well thought out for their Mi Quang customers like me. I only go to Pho Duy to eat Mi Quang, they have the best Mi Quang.

I have to say this place has some Very delicious Pho. Bobba coffee drink was all milk and no coffee, but the rest of the food we ordered was great. They give you plenty of the sides, a good amount of savory broth. Will definitely come back here again but will not order their bobba drinks.

On Friday, November 28th, around 12:20 PM, I visited Pho Duy Vietnamese Noodle House at 6968 Wilcrest Drive with my family before heading back to San Antonio. I am a disabled veteran, and I rely on my trained service dog, Maverick, for daily functioning and safety. When I walked in, a woman I did not know approached me and said, in a very condescending tone, “No dogs allowed.” I calmly informed her that he is a service dog, which legally grants him access under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She repeated “No, no dogs” again. I did not recognize her as a worker as she was not in any uniform so I spoke to the server who apologized and said the same thing, that dogs weren’t allowed, despite me explaining that federal law requires public businesses to allow trained service animals. I asked to speak with a manager, but I was told there was none available. After I left, my family told me the staff claimed my dog was a “liability because of dander,” even though he is clean, groomed, and fully trained. For clarity: Service animals are not pets. Allergies, dander concerns, personal preferences, and store policy do NOT override ADA law. A business may only ask two legal questions: Is this a service animal required because of a disability? What task has the service animal been trained to perform? They cannot deny access for “liability,” for fur, for grooming preferences, or because they “don’t allow dogs.” This is stated in the ada.gov website: Allergies and fear of dogs are not valid reasons for denying access or refusing service to people using service animals. When a person who is allergic to dog dander and a person who uses a service animal must spend time in the same room or facility, for example, in a school classroom or at a homeless shelter, they both should be accommodated by assigning them, if possible, to different locations within the room or different rooms in the facility. A person with a disability cannot be asked to remove his service animal from the premises unless: (1) the dog is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it or (2) the dog is not housebroken. When there is a legitimate reason to ask that a service animal be removed, staff must offer the person with the disability the opportunity to obtain goods or services without the animal’s presence. My family and friends chose not to eat here after witnessing the discrimination. My only reason for writing this review is that I would never want another person with a disability to be treated this way. Service dog handlers already navigate enough challenges being denied basic access should not be one of them. I will be writing a formal ADA complaint to the Texas Attorney General-Civil Rights Division and the Department of Justice Office. I hope the owners will use this as an opportunity to train their staff on ADA compliance and treat disabled patrons with dignity and respect.

It's been a while since we ate at Pho Duy. They up their portion sizes. Very fair prices unlike other restaurants; increase prices and decrease portions. This is my favorite pho place when going to Bellaire Blvd. Kudos to them👍 for upgrading their game.

Google
Food tasted amazing! Pho broth had flavor to which you didn’t even need to add anything else to it. Service was quick and servers were super nice. Good food portions and price points as well!

Google
I have been looking for a new pho place and a Vietnamese friend of mine suggested this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised the restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent, the bathrooms were very clean and welcoming, and the food was very delicious. This place has nice atmosphere friendly people. I really enjoyed the broth, very well made and I recommend this place for anyone looking for a new pho place. I suggest getting the large bowl with Spring egg rolls if you like those. The meat is cooked very well here.

Yelp
A hidden gem right off of Wilcrest near Bellaire. Pho Duy has officially made it onto my regular pho rotation, and for good reason. While there's no shortage of pho spots along Bellaire, this place stands out for its flavorful broth and overall deliciousness. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, with just one tiny gripe - the portion size left me wanting more. Let's talk about the broth. Piping hot and bursting with flavor, it's the kind of stuff that warms you up from the inside out on a chilly day. The broth is spot-on, striking the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and aromatic spices. Each spoonful is a little slice of pho heaven. Now, onto the noodles. Fresh and perfectly cooked, and ideal for soaking up that delectable broth. My only complaint? They skimped a bit on the portion size, leaving me craving more noodle goodness. I'll have to order a large next time and request for extra noodles. Oh, and here's a heads up for fellow pho lovers: Pho Duy is closed on Tuesdays, so plan your cravings accordingly. As for service, we didn't have any issues during lunch but my expectations for customer service at pho restaurants aren't too high. As long as I can get our order in and the food comes out within a reasonable time frame, that's good enough for me. In short, Pho Duy is where it's at for a satisfying bowl of pho. Despite the smaller portion size hiccup, the quality and flavor make it a standout among Bellaire's pho scene.

Yelp
Come back for their pho and probably still one of my favorites in Houston. Broth is beyond rich and flavor and most traditional I've found in Houston. They also give you an abundance of meat which is rare at most Houston restaurants these days. I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
A solid 3.5 stars for the food but I'll round it up to a 4 because the service was very good. When you think of Chinatown service you might say they're either rude or it's pretty basic; get you in and out. But our server exceeded my expectations. He was respectful & patient with us. To start we decided to order their egg rolls & for the main course I got the small Pho chin and my friend got the large pho chin. I'll start with the egg rolls. It came out piping hot & the filling was solid. It was also crispy but a little too oily. They use rice paper to roll their egg rolls versus the standard egg roll wrap. For me I don't prefer rice paper but this is how my mom use to make them so it was acceptable. My bowl of pho was pretty good. The broth was bursting with flavor & it had a little sweetness to it. The broth was blazing hot and still held its heat until the end. The portions were generous & filling however, I like my noodles thin & not thick. The meat was also tough as well. If they improved on that, the pho would be a solid 4.5 stars. My friend got the same thing but large. I will say that he got the same amount of meats just a little bit more noodles & of course more broth; He should've just gotten a small. They also need to work on portioning from a small bowl to a large bowl. At the end our server brought us a complimentary dessert. It's some sort of jello which I thought was below par. Maybe serve like a spoon of creme brûlée. Overall, the food was pretty good, service was exceptional & the decor is unique. The music is also soothing which will put you to sleep after you eat some pho. Will I come back? Yes.

Yelp
Great food. Fast service. Those are the two tall tale signs of a place where you should eat this area. We came by on a Sunday early afternoon. We ordered a small and large portion of separate pho. We were surprised by the portions of meats we were given. I have never seen a place have a high portion of meats. I had the combination of softe tendon, fatty brisket, and tripe. I kept finding tripe in my soup when I thought I had finished the 2 big pieces, and honestly, you will love it as well!

Yelp
I've been going here since high school. They haven't changed their quality whatsoever. Everything still tastes amazing. Their egg-rolls are such a great appetizer to start off. A good crisp to it & fresh veggies to eat along. Their Nuoc Cham tops it all off, not to salty no spice at least to me. For the Phó, I normally get their filet mignon, I've had their brisket & meatballs before. Great also, but I've always leaned towards their filet mignon. The broth always hot & not too sweet. Definitely always get steamed veggies & top it off with other dressings. Over all their customer service in there is top notch. They're quick with orders also and very spacious in the restaurant.

Yelp
Pho Duy is the kind of neighborhood Vietnamese pho restaurant you can rely on when that craving for a steaming bowl of pho hits. While it may not offer the absolute best pho in town, it certainly satisfies your hunger. For pho connoisseurs, there are arguably better options in places like Bellaire or further down the road, offering more complex flavors and depth. That being said, Pho Duy's humble establishment does have its merits. The service at Pho Duy is quick, making it an ideal spot for a speedy meal. Their large parking lot is a convenience, especially for those dining in groups or during peak hours. In a nutshell, Pho Duy may not be the ultimate pho destination, but it's a dependable local eatery that serves up a decent bowl when you need it. It's a straightforward, no-frills spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

Yelp
I went here for dinner with my folks and I won't be returning. We sat there for a long time before receiving service and we were the only table in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken ro ti and it was extremely dry with barely any meat whatsoever. My Dad ordered the same but didn't eat a bite. The chicken came out deep fried with tons of sauce. Certainly not what I was expecting. My husband ordered the pho dac biet and he enjoyed it. I normally don't write reviews but I felt the need to share this one.

Yelp
Love their pho it taste absolutely amazing and I love the fact that this is literally down the street from my house. Great atmosphere ,good staff, and great location!

Yelp
Service was very good! Everybody was friendly and making sure you're taken care of. The food was great but the viet coffee was stronger than what I usually get from other places so I had to ask for extra condensed milk. But aside from that it was an awesome dining.
google avatar

Mao P.

Yelp
Great portion and lots of meat. The broth wasn't oily and tasted good, maybe just missing some depth in flavor. The beef flavor from the soup wasn't prominent. They give u a free jello dessert which I didn't like. Ordered soda Chanh with salted plum - delish! I would go back --- a lot.

Yelp
The food here is soooo good and this is one of the cutest pho places I've ever been to. My favorite thing to get is either the bo ne or the chicken pho and I always order the Vietnamese iced coffee. I really like the variety of dishes and drinks on their menu. Hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in my opinion.

Yelp
I haven't been to the restaurant in person but got Uber Eats. Their noodle soup was great and the way they packed the Togo food was fabulous!

Yelp
Their food is to die for, unfortunately, the quality has gone down since Covid. I went there again and it is still good. The ambience is alright, nice, and welcoming. The service is alright. Would recommend if you want a new Pho place!

Yelp
Well i think Pho Duy everyone had try some people like it some don't but today Im writing a review not about how good pho Duy but something more. I recently diagnosed for diabetes, and very hard for me that I have to watch of what i put in my mouth. 9 out of 10 Vietnamese restaurants i eat , my glucose rise like a rocket " im currently wearing a device to monitor how much sugar intake" that how I know which restaurant season lot of sugar or msg. I checked glucose right after i eat still in normal range & 1 hrs after it's rise up a little bit but still in range & 2 hrs after, it's go down to normal range. Im so glad & happy that finally I found a restaurant i can freely eat & not to worries Definitely will come back & i just want to share to other who is having health issues like i do can enjoy when going out to eat can trust that restaurant as they advertised no sugar or msg.

Yelp
Just tried this place with my sister, we are both a little picky about our pho. We both got their chicken pho which was tasty but could be a little more flavorful. We also got an order of the egg rolls which were a bit greasy but they were decent! My sister also got a Vietnamese iced coffee which she said was really good. Overall, the meal was good and the decor inside is really cool!!

Yelp
One of my favorite pho places of all time! I always order the Pho Dac Biet when I'm here and I'm never disappointed. The broth is packed with flavor and there's TONS of tender, juicy meat in every bowl. They don't skimp out on the meat here! Service here is fast-- almost too fast for comfort. For the most part, I've never had to wait for a table more than 5-10 minutes on a busy weekend. Immediately when you're seated, a waiter comes to take your order. If you tell them you need a minute, that's all you get. A minute aka 60 seconds. It's a little awkward if you're new to pho, or you want to browse the menu. Time is money for them it seems! This wasn't a problem for me though because I always order the same soup. Food comes out very quick too! Less than 10 minutes. Overall, this place is great if you're looking for a quick bite of high quality pho.

Natalie L.

Yelp
We like the pho, no complaints at all. The eggroll was a bit disappointed, it was good, but I had better from different pho place before. The one thing I would like to point out is the pricing, the price on the menu is not the price they charged us. We had to argue with them. We understand the food cost went up, but they just can't upcharge us without giving us notification.
google avatar

Aryani N.

Yelp
I had a great experience here! Food was fast and fresh! Although I would've perfected the egg rolls came out first, but I absolutely understand. They give you options to steam or fresh for your bean sprouts. Plenty of jalapeños/ limes/ no skimping! I likey! Boiling hot broth! You can smell the aromas... yum! They offer spring rolls, egg rolls (Chinese style)
google avatar

Yelp
One of the fanciest pho shops in Chinatown, it seems they had an American interior designer, as it's much different than the typical asian decor. I tried the mi quang and a large fatty brisket and tenderloin pho. The mi quang was really tasty and better than other places I've tried. As far as the pho, they give you a lot of noodles, I mean a lot! They also give you a lot of veggies (basil, bean sprout, etc.) The broth was good, and I would rate it one of the better pho shops in Chinatown. I will have to come back and try the oxtail pho, to see how it compares as well. The vietnamese iced tea was pretty good, but not quite as good as Lee's. Service was much better too, they refilled my iced tea several times which is unusual for Chinatown. The first time they refilled it with water, which was strange.
google avatar

Blair V.

Yelp
The Mi Quang here was very flavorful with a kick of fire. I liked the flat egg noddle and the fact that there was little soup broth, more of a thick sauce. My sister tried the Com Thit Nuong and the pork was dry and tasted like it was old. Very disappointed in that dish. Although the cha gio was pretty decent. The interior was pretty nice and the service was okay. We got our drink orders after we got our food and the restaurant wasn't even packed. I'll probably come back maybe for the Mi Quang again and to try the Pho.

Giang P.

Yelp
The chicken pho was so so-- looks like they don't use walking chicken here, but the beef pho was great. Love the vibes and decorations. Will be back.

William P.

Yelp
I think the food is really good it smells really good the bad broth is rich and deep the large bowl is kind of small if you compare it to other Texas bar restaurants but the price is reasonable for $12 for a large bowl and 11 for a small I have a lot of other options other than the bar and server is really quick she can speak Vietnamese and English fluently they have entertainment and the interior is clean and it looks like there's only one person working and we're here on a Monday so pretty nice spot to chill at there's an aquarium and lots of decoration
google avatar

Brittney T.

Yelp
Honestly the best pho place in Houston. I've never been disappointed with the food or service here. It's nestled slightly away from the busy Bellaire. Parking is never an issue. The broth is consistent and flavorful. Noodles are the perfect texture & the meat is so tender. Filet mignon! So simple and satisfying. They are also very quick to getting everything out. They close at 7 so pretty early for me. Come for lunch or early dinner. Nothing more to say. If you haven't been here, you're missing out.
google avatar

Yelp
been here so many times so disappointed they didnt even clean their meat. The sever came say sorry and ask me do I need anything else ?? ps Bill came in full no discharge

Yelp
FOOD: Hu tieu kho and nuoc are my faves here! Even though their name is PHO Duy, they have the BEST hu tieu. Their pho is about 4 stars, their hu tieu would be 5. Flavorful noodles and broth which stay steaming hot even after you're done eating. I taking one star away because a lot of times they get the order wrong. Just ask them nicely to fix it and they will! For drinks I always get the Cafe Su da or the Vietnamese iced coffee. They have the best cafe su da in the area in my opinion. Only problem is that they put WAY TOO MUCH ICE in the cup. This is so you get less coffee -.-. Pro tip: if the coffee is too bitter or creamy for you, let the ice melt then shake the cup to have a more diluted coffee. SERVICE: FAST! Love the fast service. Servers are friendly and diligent. ATMOSPHERE: typical Asian restaurant but feels more homier than other places and cleaner than most places in Bellaire!
google avatar

Tracy D.

Yelp
Omg so they recently added Bo Ne to the menu! Yessss! $2 more than Thiem Hung but it's delicious!

Jenny S.

Yelp
You think during this pandemic (Covid-19), they would not go this low. Guess what, here they tried to reused left over basil instead of throwing it away. The cart has a trash bin attached but they refuse to throw it away. i saw it with my own eyes. They need to be reported to the Health departments.
google avatar

Gia C.

Yelp
Ordered a large pho tai gan (slice beef with tendon) and an order of egg rolls. There were a lot of noodles and good portion of meat in my soup. The egg rolls were the textured skin which I prefer over the smooth flat typical ones. (only give a peel of lettuce which is a bummer cause I use one per egg roll or at least half, but that's a minor thing) I liked the fact they ask what kind of bean sprout I want cause NO viet place will ask that. I always forget to ask for it cooked and they are quick to drop off the pre made season dish. They supply the straws, chopsticks, sauce dish, spoon and condiments at the table which is great so I don't have to request it. A lot of parking space and no wait. Atmosphere looks clean exception of some tables not clean and the employees just hanging out at a table together. Plus music I prefer not to listen to. Overall, I would tolerate it for the food.
google avatar

Jocelyn C.

Yelp
I've just eaten one of the best things I've eaten in my life, Mi Quang. Everyone says to get this dish here, and you MUST! While I am a hardcore pho lover, this amazing dish of yellow noodle in a rich, spicy, slightly sour broth with sesame crackers, peanuts, mint, and a million flavors amazing flavors will become a new familiar favorite on my rotating dining repertoire. Credit cards are $10 and up. You absolutely must eat here. I got a Pho Dac Biet to go since I couldn't stand the thought of waiting another week to make the drive down here to try it. Right outside of Beltway 8, Pho Duy closes early- 7pm. Makes me glad that I work night shifts, just so I can come here for lunch :p
google avatar

Phuong N.

Yelp
My sister was telling me I need to try this place out. I got the Dac Biet Pho which is a combination of all the meats. The broth was bland and the broth was lukewarm. I don't have to have my broth steaming hot but the pho came out with barely with steam. We also got the egg rolls and they used the spring roll wrap instead of the original egg roll wrap. It was not that great. There is so many Pho restaurant in Houston that I will not come back here. Other Pho restaurant offer baby phone for kids and this place doesn't. We end up having to buy our 2 years old a size small adult phone that he hardly touched.
google avatar

Ann S.

Yelp
I came here for the first time recently. The pho broth is good but just a tad too sweet for my liking. Not a deal breaker though. The portion was decent, and the noodles taste like they are they dry type... not as fresh. Again not a deal breaker. I got the oxtail pho which had small pieces of oxtail instead of the big bones with meat. My friend got the pho tai chin which was standard. The bean sprouts came out warm, and lots of Thai basil was offered. We also got the egg roll appetizer (very good) which came with five egg rolls, some lettuce and mint leaves. The nuoc mam (fish sauce) was really fishy smelling... more than typical. But what turned us both off was a strand of hair in the lettuce that didn't belong to me or my date. With all the options in Houston for pho, I don't think we'll be coming back.
google avatar

Kacy M.

Yelp
This is one of my top favorite pho spots in Houston. The people are friendly, it's an inviting atmosphere, and the food is both cheap and amazing. This time around I got the number 8 with tendon, filet mignon, and brisket? Also a cafe sua da. Warning: the cafe sua da here could wake a dead man - it's lethal. The broth here is super good (I tend to not like darker color broths but this one is so flavorful and not heavy at all despite its looks). The small bowl is pretty big (they offer small and large). I always enjoy my meal here and it's consistent.
google avatar

Alexus N.

Yelp
My fave Pho place in Houston! This place has great food and good service. They're not "upscale", but the decor is nice and the prices are fair. The servers use tablets to take orders. Sometimes they make recommendations on specials of the day. They had fresh soybean drink today, but I declined since Vietnamese iced coffee was on my mind. Besides the Pho, their Mi Quang is also very delicious.
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
Pretty good pho. My family loves this place over others. They have nice, deep bowls, real chopsticks and non-plastic soup spoons that are shallower than normal ones. They have a decent veggie selection for your pho bowl, including that long spiky one that I love but have no idea what it's called (ngo gai). After you finish your meal, they also provide the Vietnamese jello stuff (thach) for you to eat. delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant is great! It is a beautiful place inside, but you wouldnt know by just looking at it from the outside. They have waterfalls, chandeliers, etc. There are tvs inside and really nice decorations.
google avatar

Hanna D.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite pho places ever since it opened. They've expanded their menu since then and continues to prove their worth amongst the other pho competitors. The broth hits home every time. The egg rolls are made with the traditional rice papers that make them so crispy! The bowls are a good size and the prices are comparable as well, although the minimum on credit/debit cards is $10. So bring cash if you're going by yourself. This place is really close to work so my coworkers and I come very often. We noticed that while the quality of the food does not change, the service does. Sometimes you're lucky and you get a friendly waiter. If not, you can deal with a guy who slams the water cup on your table, doesn't look at you when you talk, and/or walk away before you're even done ordering. Aside from the inconsistent service, I have to commend their broth, egg rolls, and mi Quang. All very flavorful and satisfying! I'm glad that Pho Duy is continuing to grow in a positive direction. We will continue to come back!

Yelp
We were in the area early one morning and wanted breakfast. Nothing really opens until 10AM and it was only 9AM at the time. We started looking for pho restaurants around us and came upon Pho Duy. It's in a non-descript little complex that looks like it's seen better days. If not for the highly rated reviews we read, I would not have stopped in. Luckily, we did and it was a great decision. Walking in so early, I didn't have much hope for great tasting broth. I was proved wrong. The pho was delicious!!! I got the small size bowl and it was perfect. The broth was rich and flavorful. So good!! We also got egg rolls and they were yummy! I just wish we got more than one leaf of lettuce with it. We were the only ones there that early in the morning so it was nice and quiet inside the restaurant. We were seated quickly and our order taken. Our food came out soon after. It was a quick and filling breakfast for us. I'm glad we gave this place a try and we'll definitely be back. Next time, we'll try their cafe sua da. The only reason we didn't is because we already had some coffee earlier in the day and didn't want to load up on too much caffeine.

Mai-Anh H.

Yelp
5 stars for consistency. There was a time they were a little skimpy with the beef, but I suppose people complained, and now there is one perfect piece of tai for each bite. This is important. Also important? The impressive quality of their beef. They have everyone beat. But most important? This place's pho tastes like my mom's. You know no one makes better pho than mom. Side note: They also have the best chanh muoi (add soda, or don't, it's your choice - I like it both ways) in town. And trust me, I've ordered this all over the International District. Theirs is the best. Is it too much to ask for salty lemonade to be salty?
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Their pho is good... but don't go here if you have children and can't stand smoke. They have a pool hall room next door and keep the door in between open. So the restaurant smells like Smoke.

Due to the noise levels, I'd say this is more like a casual dining place for a group of friends rather than a date. _____________________________________________ = Food Quality = Pho Tai ($7.50): 4/5 - The broth was nice and warm when it arrived, it's aromatic herbal-beefy scent quickly enticed my nosy senses. The soft, chewy noodles fit nicely with the flavor of the broth, which had a slightly beefy taste. Overall a pretty satisfactory bowl of Pho, not much herbal flavor, but still tasted pretty good. Bo Luc Lac ($9.00): 4/5 - Very beautiful presentation with many exotic colors all in one plate. The shaking beef was very soft and tender with a surprising amount of flavor, probably due to the bell pepper and onions. Pretty good overall, slightly small portion, but the price is not that bad for what you get. Also, the mini-soup was refreshing. _____________________________________________ = Price / Service = Pretty average pricing, nothing too cheap or expensive, so it's around the medium. Portion sizes are pretty good for the price. Service is somewhat mediocre, they're not very active, but they still do a semi-decent job. _____________________________________________ Miscellaneous (Other): - Crowded During Lunch - Low Quality Restroom Signed NK (July 2017) Images below by Jason Lx (NK)

Yelp
I used to go here all the time and it was even my favorite pho spot. Quick, delicious, and an easy hangover food. Since then, the quality disappeared. I ordered a pho bo vien for take out a few days ago and was SUPER disappointed. The broth tasted old and the bo vien had a weird texture to them (probably also old). Thankfully my boyfriend and I were too hungry and forgot about the veggies bag because after seeing the review about them reusing basil made me .

Yelp
Overall: 8.5/10 Price: 1/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 4/5 --------------------------------------------- Pho Tai: $7.50 Rating: 9/10 Strong Soup Base, came with tender eye round steak. In my opinion I recommend putting the meat on the side if you don't mind it being a little bit raw, so it doesn't make the meat too rough. Pho Duy Special: $8 Rating: 7/10 Strong Soup Base, came with a lot of different meats and oxtail but the past two time they did not have or did not put in the oxtail. Pho Tai Bo Vien: $7.50 Rating: 8/10 Strong Soup Base, came with around 10 halved meatballs with tender eye round steak. ------------------------------------------- Service: 3.5/5 Waiter only came by twice to give us water and our meal. Other than that, food was great, comfortable seating and not rushed to eat.

Yelp
I fell like they over charged me. I totally forgot to ask for a receipt when I paid and that was somewhat my fault but I wasn't given one either. Food was good but $32 was a bit pricey for 2 small pho's ( pho tai and pho tai bo vien), order of egg rolls and a cafe sua da. Just make sure to ask for a receipt if they don't give you one. I like the tai and bo vien here. It was good.

Yelp
My favourite pho place because of the taste and speed it comes out of the kitchen. However, the takeout/delivery portions seem to be lacking. Still tasted good though

Yelp
I'm a big believer that food is a holistic experience. So I don't really know if the pho was THAT good or if it was because I had partied too much and had woken up with a throbbing headache/hangover but... The pho tasted great & revived me to the point of functionality. The broth is hot, all my veggies are accounted for, and service is fast. In fact, the pho was so good and had done so much for me that even to this day, 2 months later, I still think good things when I think of this place. Thanks for being the real MVP.

Yelp
The day of our flight we realized that we had to try Vietnamese food in Houston! We had our Uber take us to Chinatown but because of my mistake, we ended up being a few miles short of actual Chinatown . We didn't have time to order another Uber, so we made the most out of it. Being from Brooklyn I have tried great pho regularly, so my standards were high coming in. I ended up going with the pho dac biet (traditional beef pho). The broth was really good and there was a generous portion of the meats and tripe! I was pleasantly surprised on how good the pho was. We also had the spring rolls which were okay. The service was a bit slow but the people were really nice. If I was from Houston, I would definitely be a regular!

Yelp
We come here a lot because we love their brisket and tasty broth. The reason why I only give them 3 stars is because their soup is not consistent, there's not enough meat (we have to order an extra side of meat), and customer service is not so great. We ordered pho brisket, pho filet mignonand of course extra side of meat balls.

Yelp
Pho Duy is one of the favorite restaurants in Bellaire, but this Monday my husband and I have come here. The waiter had a very bad luck with us. He seemed to have thrown the menu on the table, and he didn't ask what we needed. I was very disappointed in the service attitude so we had to leave. Pho Duy is the place I usually go to eat and so I am really disappointed with you.

Yelp
We had pho and mi quang here. Ox tail pho was delicious. However the broth was not hot, which was super disappointing. Service was not very nice, they moved us to another table after all seated. Restaurant was nice and clean, so I would have given 5 stars had it not been for these incidents. I would visit again if I'm in town and perhaps we if I would change the rating

Yelp
Deep rich broth that's second to none. I really like the choices of soups here from pho, hu tieu, etc. We also had their new dish, bo ne. The meat was tender and flavorful. The butter/mayonnaise and homemade pate was over the top good. We definitely like coming here and will be back!

Yelp
I have been on a mission to find a good place for Mi Quang. It is so hard though. There are only 2 places I go to have mi Quang: this restaurant and bun cha ca Da Nang. Both places are very different from each other but they are both pretty good. If you like Mi Quang and don't have time to cook, I guess you can come here for a quick fix. Their rice cracker (banh Trang) was not fully cooked for my bowl (a little disappointed) It's a nice restaurant, the service is quite fast and good even during the weekend when it's busy. I heard other dishes are good too. I will come back to try them. TIP: - if you where shirt/dresses/short, don't sit at the booths. The leather was worn out and has a lot cracks. - if you order Mi Quang, ask to have the chili separate.
