Google
Loveeeeee the chicken pho! I’ve been coming here for probably around 5 years and I have never once had a bad experience. The food takes less than 10 minutes to come out, is always super hot and fresh, and always tastes delicious. The environment is super friendly and welcoming, it’s perfect to bring the family to eat all together, and even better just coming in by yourself! Our waitress is always nothing but sweet, polite, and on top of her game. Great place.

Google
I walked into this restaurant and it was clean with beautiful plants and soft music. Our waitress brought us menus, didn’t take our drinks just handed us menus and walked off. She comes back and takes our order, me and my grandma wanted to share a plate of chicken lo mein because we weren’t extremely hungry to finish 2 plates. Our waitress told us that we had to order more not just the lo mein. We say okay and order eggrolls which tasted like they were frozen and thrown into the fryer.. really weird taste. We asked to add tofu to our lo mein and she said it would be a $7 up charge.. $7..Is the tofu made of gold or what?!! I liked the setting but the food was not great. I wont be coming back😩

Google
Tried this place for the first time today. While the restaurant was nice and clean, as other reviewers stated they only have 3 options for Pho. They only have one size bowl. They brought out the food very quickly but the noodles were basically a ball of noodles and you had to separate them yourself. I only had about 5-6 pieces of beef. We also ordered a "kids serving" of noodles and broth, and the three year old got more noodles than we did. The flavor wasn't horrible, but it wasn't really anything to write home about. We will not be revisiting this location.

Google
I’ve seen this place for several years, and finally had the time and inclination to stop in. A healthier lunch option than burgers and other many fast food fries options. The single waitress was hustling handling all aspects of service for all patrons. Great on food and service but weak on atmosphere. Don’t go for ambiance go for the food! You will not be disappointed. Still it had to impact the overall rating.

Google
Vegetable Pho is delicious, to go food was hot and packaged well- perfect for a rainy night in. Pot stickers were fresh. Highly recommend!

Google
The food was SOOOOO good. I was gonna take a pic of my food beforehand, but DEVORDED it before I could. Licked that plate clean. I feel pregnant after leaving this restaurant cause it was THAT GOOD. I got the spring rolls (HEAVEN) and my girl got the chicken pho (OH MY GOD I SAW THE LIGHT). We also shared a watermelon boba drink (YAAAAOOOOIIII!!!!) this place is so good and if you get a chance, GO! thank you to the cooks and servers and GOD HIMSELF!! AMEN

Google
Man, I’ve been looking for a good Pho place since I moved here and this is it! We came here for an early Sunday dinner and was surprised to see it empty! Our server was sweet, quiet but attentive. We ordered 3 appetizers and they were ALL delicious! I had the beef Pho and my husband had the combination lo mein. We loved it! Had a Vietnamese coffee to go and I may just drive by just for that some days! I’ll be back!

Google
I’m very fortunate to live across the street from one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town. I’ve been coming here for the passed 2.5 years now and have tried a majority of there pho bowls. From experience, it’s very hard to find a pho that is always made and served so fresh to the taste. And a perfect clean clear broth that is savory and doesn’t need anything extra. I could eat here several times a week that’s how good the pho is and all there meals are! The atmosphere is spectacular and the service is definitely 5 star!

Yelp
I am shocked that both times I have come to this location there is no one else inside. I am fully convinced this is the best tofu in all of San Antonio. Both times I have ordered the vermicelli tofu bowl and it is delicious. My partner had the beef pho the first time and enjoyed it, and this second time he got the beef vermicelli bowl which was another great experience. The location is less than 5 minutes from our new home and there is plenty of parking. The waitress can appear quite subdued but I appreciate it because I don't need a lot of being checked in on while I eat and I am introverted. Service is prompt and we get exactly what we ordered. It is clean inside and without excess. I love all the indoor plants and big windows. Cons: the portion of the vermicelli bowls is on the smaller side. It's enough for me but it isn't enough for my partner which is a concern because it is $16.

Yelp
Spring rolls were fat and delicious, I got a Vietnamese sandwich and my husband got the beef pho, it was filling and delicious all around. Def recommend if you're looking for a delicious high value meal.

Yelp
We tried Pho Filet on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty. The server was prompt and we received our food quickly. The servers were not friendly and didn't check I with us, but food was prompt. We enjoyed the Pho and spring rolls. Disappointed that the green tea came in a styrofoam cup rather than a tea kettle. Overall decent place.

Yelp
Pho Filet - Stay Away! This was a very odd experience, as it seemed to have all the potential to be an authentic Vietnamese restaurant but chose not to be. I am Vietnamese and, as you can imagine, grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese cuisine. I've never run into a place like this. For starters, the menu is very non-traditional. Sure it offered traditional pho, rice places, spring rolls etc. But when it came time to choose our pho options, for example, it simply had "beef pho, chicken pho, seafood pho, vegetable pho". Anyone who has eaten pho knows that: 1- there are MANY types of pho, depending on what toppings you want included, so simply "beef" is incredibly ambiguous 2 - seafood pho is not a thing I also asked for a cafe sua da, (Vietnamese coffee). The server stared at me blanky as if she had no idea what I was talking about until I pointed to it on the menu. She then proceeded to say that it's not a true Vietnamese coffee, they use powdered instant coffee. Needless to say, I was not enticed to order that. However strange, anything can be redeemed by taste. This did not happen. The broth was very light, the best way I can describe it is like a watered down pho. Either they didn't use all the proper seasonings or it didn't stew long enough but either way it did not have nearly the depth of flavor as pho is supposed to have, even compared to mediocre places I've eaten at. Needless to say, it was a very disappointing and unsatisfying experience. The only reason it didn't get a 1 star is the food at least wasn't repulsive and they had authentic sriracha. You're better off eating pho at almost any other place in SA

Yelp
The food very well put together. It had that warm good feeling taste. The service was polite and inviting. The setting seemed pleasant and natural. I recommend this place.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, I LOVE this place. I usually only ever eat one dish (why mess with a good thing) but my family mixes it up so I feel like a well rounded review is coming your way! I usually get take out after my kids music lessons and I am never disappointed. Even my kids who normally beg for sonic *insert eye roll* have started asking for the lo mein. I order the beef vermicelli and it's perfect. Every. Single. Time. My husband loves the pho, especially during this cooler weather. The dining room is a good size with tables and chairs. Their menu is complete without being overwhelming. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My to go orders are always packaged well and have napkins and utensils. The last time my to go order took a lot longer than usual but they seems short staffed, I won't fault them for that because who isn't short staffed right now?! The food was delicious and worth the wait!

China F.

Yelp
I've had Pho all over the world and U.S.and can't imagine anyone elses Pho being more delicious. The broth is complex and I love the lime, basil and bean sprouts they give you and they're generous with the noodle portions. Their egg rolls are very delicate (and delicious) and the accompanying dipping sauce is exquisite! We love the generous VERY lean portions of tasty chicken in the chicken Pho. The owner ( she remembers your name) is very friendly when one takes the time to be friendly as well, a perfect place!

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday for lunch craving some Vietnamese food. Looking for something light to eat. Ordered goi cuon and banh mi. Hits the spot. Great service. Will definitely come back to try something else next time.

Yelp
Best place in San Antonio to get some pho!!!! Service is always great and it's always clean when we come in. Tried different places in SATX, but this one always seems to be the one we always come back to. Chicken pho with some fried pot stickers

Kaitlyn J.

Yelp
I can't believe I've lived right around the corner for a year now! I came in just to grab some lunch to go. Got the pork vermicelli. Food was amazing and very fresh. The seating area is full of beautiful live plants and the hostess I spoke with was so kind! Will definitely be back for some dine in sometime soon.

Kristie W.

Yelp
We ordered Vietnamese spring rolls, crab Rangoon, coconut smoothie, and 2 grilled pork sandwiches. We didn't like any of it. The ever old were mush inside and no flavor. It says rice paper and cellophane noodles but didn't have that at all. The crab Rangoon was awful. I don't know if the crab was bad or what they used in that. The bahn mi are sold in HEB Bollillos. No flavor at all. We didn't finish them. The coconut smoothie had no sweetener at all so tasted bland. Spent over $40 and will not ever go back. The server was pleasant and had to deal with a Karen at another table. I felt bad for her.

Yelp
I was there for lunch. I paid in front with phone tap and it failed several times. Then i gave the young lady works in there my card with same number and it worked. Then i signed a recipt with TIPs. Then i was served with all stuff too and the young lady said i told her "to go" which I have never said that. Do not know what is going on with the attitude in the place. Girl I DO NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING! Sadly it is the only pho restaurant within 8 miles and I'm at work. You are just driving a loyal customer away.

Logan C.

Yelp
My favorite pho place in town!!! Has the best tasting and flavor pho! So authentic! Service is Always nice and food comes out fast as well!! I tell everyone about this place:) ambiance is welcoming and authentic as well:)

Yelp
This location has been passed down by few other owners and management as a Vietnamese restaurants over the last decade. The current edition Pho Filet, is the best tasting one thus far. The combination pho is my go to. I haven't been able to manage to deviate from it every visit here. The meatballs thingy is hand crafted, and is a unique texture and taste. Absolutely fantastic. The broth is delicately fabricated craftsmanship and does not allow their competition to follow. The aroma and balance is superb. The steamed dumplings are the best appetizers. Their Vietnamese egg rolls were good as well. The fish sauce here has that potency in aroma. The staff is also the friendliest, and stoic about their work. I really like this place for pho. Y'all should definitely give it a try.

Yelp
My Family and I just moved to San Antonio and we were craving some Vietnamese food, and we found this awesome restaurant. When we walked in it was empty, so we were greeted and served quickly. The staff was amazing, kind and attentive. I order the pho and it was so delicious! The broth was incredibly flavorful! I was not disappointed! And after enjoying our food I was shocked at how it could be empty! We'll definitely be back! 10/10!

Yelp
Only place I've gotten Pho at since 2012!! I recommend everything on the menu! Service is always amazing and it's always so clean in the establishment! I would have uploaded photos of the food we ordered but it was gone as soon as we got home!
google avatar

Edd M.

Yelp
This is not Vietnamese food! The Vietnamese egg rolls were disgusting my platter was the vermicelli chicken also disgusting, and what your paying for the portions was inadequate. Very disappointing. Not sure why and who is rating higher than 3 stars but i've had way much better Vietnamese food than this place. I tried it to see what it was all about and i wont be coming back. Service was blah they all seemed like there were forced to work on Saturday with there unwelcoming attitude.

Sal G.

Yelp
The grilled pork for the banh mi had nice, crispy edges and was seasoned really well. The buttered, toasted bread really brought it together. Try the pork and shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. So good. Trying the pho next time.

Tom L.

Yelp
Pho is decent, but the combination plates are horrible. Egg rolls aren't made there. Same with the punched out "meat" that looks like fingers. I'm sure they buy frozen from some supplier. Absolutely disgusting.
google avatar

Yelp
Since our favorite pho place closed, we have been looking for another pho place that was just as good. We went here, and the food here is the definition of delicious. Friendly staff, great food, great drinks. Definitely going to go back!
google avatar

Tre S.

Yelp
Great flavor Pho and the meat was super fresh. I don't know why this place got bad reviews because the Pho is one of the best we had in SA. Maybe it was the other pho restaurants hating on its competitors lol. Definitely will be coming back!
google avatar

Dianna R.

Yelp
Excellent service & Pho! Shrimp spring rolls are very good as well as the Chicken Lo Mein. Recommend!!

Courtney T.

Yelp
The seafood (shrimp) pho was good. I grabbed it to go and everything was super fresh. I also had the steamed dumplings. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love trying pho places around town. Pho Filet was the next up! Upon entry, the restaurant was clean and the waitress/cashier was very friendly. The menu is short and sweet, yet I was still able to modify my pho to my liking (no cilantro or onions on top; basic). I also ordered a side of grilled pork, which is something I always order with my pho when the restaurant offers it. Luckily, that was an option at Pho Filet, although it was a bit more expensive to do so than I'm used to. I ordered appetizer fried potstickers. The outside was thicker than most potstickers (more like dumplings) but that didn't matter because they were delicious. As for the pho, the broth was very tasty. It was lighter than most but still very flavorful. I had the meat combination minus the meatballs. The tenderloin was tender and delicious with NO TENDON (surprising) and the flank was good. There was basically nothing left after I finished. I'll be coming back!
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
Nice place for lunch or dinner is not crowded and the food is on point. The cashier is friendly which is a plus and mask are optional as with most restaurants right now. The place is clean and sanitized. I recommend this place for a nice sit down dinner or sit down dinner to get away.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Amazing Pho and great customer service! Every single item on the menu is delicious and we love that their dishes feed the whole family!
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoyed my first trip to this establishment. I ordered the combination beef Pho, it was what I needed for lunch. I like the low key atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon, soft music, other patrons were quiet too. Very nice and soothing. Great for something differently delicious. The wait staff was pleasant and curtious. This place would be perfect for dinner as well. I will visit this little gem of a restaurant again.

April R.

Yelp
Great flavor we had spring roll appetizer chicken Lomein and Vietnamese beef sandwich the hot tea was fresh steeped. We will definitely be back!

Mike G.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Just wish the young female server would smile. She looks miserable and not very friendly.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Good food, I enjoyed the lemongrass tofu vermicelli. The abundance of potted plants was amazing!
google avatar

Yasmine C.

Yelp
It is not the best pho in town, it was too sweet for me. Not sure if I went in on the wrong day where they had no sprouts and gave me very little meat.

Angela P.

Yelp
This is an update of my review. I just ordered the beef fried rice and flavor is all there! Thinly sliced beef and it's well cooked and tender.
google avatar

Amaury L.

Yelp
They've definitely done something different to their pho. It's delicious now! Just wish they'd give out a little extra noodles!

Kayla P.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing de- pho- neatly the best pho place by far. Their fried potstickers are truly amazing, along with the savoury pho. 10/10 restaurant
google avatar

Sandra B.

Yelp
First time going here since they changed names. Don't know if it is new management or just new name but their Chicken Pho and Summer Fresh Spring Rolls were excellent. Server was very friendly and place was clean. Will definitely go back!
google avatar

Edward E.

Yelp
This little spot used to be very good so we used to go all the time but the last time we went our food was bland, portions were small and chicken was dry. We have not been back. I hate to leave a bad comment on a small business but I also hope the owners take the comment into consideration because this is right around the corner and we love Vietnamese food !
google avatar

Cody G.

Yelp
Went there yesterday it was great, service was great and I really enjoyed the food the noodles and chicken were really tasty, I really recommend going here
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Very very good, I'm giving a rare 5 star rating! We ate dinner in vs take out. Will definitely come back!
google avatar

Natalie M.

Yelp
The chicken pho was really good! The staff were nice, but some of the staff and owner in the back were shouting at one another about their lack of work. Lots of shouting and cussing. It was pretty unprofessional and awkward. I'd get it to go next time...

Kimberly D.

Yelp
This was my first time eating here. My first impression was that the restaurant was clean and in order. It was cold inside but overall nice environment. It took a little while to be waited on but I think that was because there was only one person working at the time. We ordered the beef pho and fried dumplings. The pho was great, nice and hot and very flavorful. The dumplings were some of the freshest I've had in a very very long time. I would recommend trying this little place out.
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
Beef combination pho is good service is good just wish they would give me the whole bottle of hot sauce over all 4 stars but definitely the best I've found in town so far

Subasish D.

Yelp
Taste of food is bad. Quantity is small. Might be the worst pho in my life. I failed to finish it and need to throw out the take out to garbage. I will not recommend this place.
google avatar

TT M.

Yelp
The woman who answered my phone call to hear my concern about an order went off on me. I had children in the car who sat there wide-eyed at the way she was yelling at me. I was trying to get clarification on something and she lost her cool completely. I asked my kids (who will very happily throw me under the bus) if I had been rude and even they could not believe the way she turned it around. I could never support a business that treats customers in such a degrading, unprofessional manner.

Ashley F.

Yelp
This is my favorite Pho place. The pho and spring rolls are delish. I always get the Tara boba, which is so good. I go at least once a week, the staff is so nice and amazing.
google avatar

Letty D.

Yelp
I frequently order pho from here and it is always amazing. The staff and owners are always very courteous! Definitely recommend 10/10.

Sharon A.

Yelp
I ordered the beef combination pho . It was tasty and the beef was good quality. They had dining in and people were seated far away from each other. I got the chicken bahn mi too and it was not great- the chicken was overcooked and there were barely any fixings. The service was slow but they were kind. There's better pho in town but it's okay if you're in a bind and super hungry and willing to wait way more than 15 minutes
google avatar

Yelp
Today my husband and I felt like some good Pho chicken soup. We asked for chicken Pho noodle soup but I- requested my chicken browned with sesame oil, green onions and lots of garlic before it was added to my noodles and soup. I had heard from some friends, that the Pho chicken soup was very bland. The Waitress said ok but came back a few minutes later with a side of some sort of barbecued chicken and my noodle soup. I asked what happened, and she said that she didn't think I would like the chicken the way I requested and she decided to just give me a side of barbecued chicken. I was without words. She left unceremoniously and didn't come back to check on us. I had to get up and ask the cashier to please bring me some sugar for the Jazmine tea and some water since no waitress was around. The soup was horrible of course and I didn't enjoy much. I am no expert but have had some original Pho noodle soup back in Monterey Bay. The chicken was first browned in lots of garlic, green scallions, and sesame seed oil. Then the cooked noodles and liquid soup was added to it all. It was yummy!! This Restaurant's Pho chicken is totally bland and lacks flavor. Thank you, but no thank you. This is my last time.

Yelp
So we used to go to this place years ago and had great experiences, but we moved to Houston. We recently moved back to SA and were very excited about going back. While the inside looks the same, we noticed that it's called Pho Filet now. The pho was good, but not for $12 each, we're used to paying about $8 for a large bowl. I ordered the iced coffee and I love additional condensed milk. The server brought the coffee and I instantly noticed it it was too dark. I politely asked for more milk and she told me to try it first. I explained that I have a sweet tooth and she argued back with me that I still haven't tried it yet. I told her nevermind and she was good with that answer. I just let the coffee sit there and she never offered me the milk. How cheap can you be, even after paying the super high price? I spent nearly $40 for two people ( after a tip) and felt cheated on what I believe would've cost them around 4 cents to make me happy. Lost my wife and I as faithful guests forever.
