The 19 Best Restaurants In Anaheim

"Anaheim is a short drive from Westminster’s Little Saigon neighborhood, home to some of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the country. We certainly endorse a separate trip there while you’re in town, but if you’re crunched on time, head to Pho Ga Hai Van 2. This casual cafe on Magnolia Ave. has a big menu of Viet hits like salted fish fried rice, shaken beef with crispy rice rolls, and a particularly good bowl of congee. If you only get one dish though, make it the namesake pho ga. This light, slightly sweet chicken broth is the kind of elixir that’ll satisfy you without making you want to take a nap before that 4pm pharmaceutical presentation back at the convention center. Great food and good service - we are a party of 2 and have two items ordered: Excellent glass noodles Shaken beef mingnon is super tasty

Google
Great place for lunch or dinner, found this restaurant by a coincidence while passing by this area. Ordered Pho ga and Pho Ga mien. The broth was delicious and right on the taste. It was clear and a little sweet as it should be. Chicken was fresh and tender, and the sauce was awesome and give you a little kick of flavor. The place was cleaned and service was excellent as its foods. We will be back for more to try their different dishes next time.

Google
This is not the mainstream Pho restaurant that I'm familiar with. I tried "unsual" dishes, and I'm glad I did. 1st - chicken salad. It's shredded veggies (cabbage and carrots) with chicken fillet. What was unusual was the dressing when compared with American chicken salad. The dressing was a combination of fish sauce, ginger, and garlic blend. Add some chili for some kick. Magic happens when you combine the sauce with the salad. I wasn’t expecting that I would be blown away with it. I loved it so much. 2nd - Chicken soup with flat nodles. They serve the soup separately from the chicken and the usual thai basil and blanced sprouts on the side. It's up to you to assemble your plate. The broth was tasty and herby after putting the thai basil. 3rd - Chicken internal organs - heart, liver, etc. It was prepared well and a great topping to either the salad or the soup. Everything tasted awesome and will definitely come back again to try their other dishes next time.

Google
This phó is up there on my list of recommendations very well and delicious. Broth meat is nice and soft. I loved it. The beef plater was also good. I'm not sure what the crunchy part was, but the food is very good. I recommend this location

Google
I took my baby and wife here since we live nearby. Never knew how clear chicken pho broth could be! The porridge was so flavorful too. The chicken was warm and tender unlike most pho places. Veggies were super fresh and the restaurant was the cleanest pho shop I'd ever been to. The owner was very nice and was always paying attention to when we needed help with something. We will be coming back again.

Google
My mom lives near by and while visiting her, I wanted to a bowl of pho. Found this place based purely on Google reviews. Ordered Pho Tai. Great flavor, good service, and fair price. Wasn't too thirsty afterwards either (which is always a good sign...not too salty and more importantly not too much MSG!). If I live nearby, this place would be my go-to spot (I want to try chicken next time, as the name suggests)!

Google
We love this place! It’s so close to home that we even walk when the weather permits! My 4yr old loves their chicken pho and passion fruit soda and I love their pho and iced coffee! The price is good so we keep coming back!!

Google
This is the original vietnam style food restaurant. Perfect except there is no combination pho. There is only one pho of beef. But its perfect. I can see the food source and material is very high end.

Yelp
Best pho I've had in a while I would recommend The broth made it especially good whenever your near come and stop by!

Ieremia P.

Yelp
The pho soups have very good flavor and the service is amazing. The food is also well priced.

Yelp
Great food service was good and the staff was very respectful. Very quick and nice. The inside was nice as well

Yelp

Yelp
Food: This is hands down my favorite pho place. The be pho with ribeye steak is exceptional--better than most I've tried. The broth is piping hot, flavorful, and comes with plenty of fresh accompaniments. The rice noodle is one of my favorite rice noodles. Perfect consistency and they have flavor. The ribeye is a great portion and I feel like it's a good value for the amazing flavor . The hot sauces are a highlight, especially the spicier, freshly cut one. Shaken Beef Filet Mignon with Rice Paper Rolls: This has become my new favorite dish. The steak is savory, nicely charred with bell peppers and onions in a sweet, tangy garlic sauce. The crispy rice rolls take it to the next level--absolutely delicious. Service: Our server was very kind and welcoming. This was my second visit, and I came prepared to enjoy every bite. Ambiance: Located in a small shopping plaza with plenty of parking, the interior is clean with good lighting and pleasant music. There's ample seating to enjoy your meal

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place as I love pho. My favorites has always been steak/beef flavored. Unfortunately, I think I ordered the wrong dish here. The beef soup was meh and didn't taste fresh and looked way too oily. The meat itself is definitely lower quality beef, not like the higher quality I'm used to when I eat in Westminster, Irvine, or Vegas. The only part of the beef pho that was decent was the noodle. The pho noodle definitely impressed me. The place was clean and service was good. There weren't many people there at lunch time. My order was under $20 so I had to pay cash. Only orders over $20 gets to use credit card. I noticed everyone else ordered their chicken flavored pho, so I think I definitely ordered the wrong dish. But then I'm not a chicken flavored pho person so this place wasn't meant for me. However, if someone is in the mood for chicken, this place might be worth a try.

Yelp
Great hidden gem! Hit the spot even in the summer. Opted for the Pho Ga since it was my first time here and it was delicious!

Yelp
I have heard about this restaurant from my friends a lot . Finally, we found it by coincidence while passing by this area. It's located inside the strip mall and it is not visible from street. We stopped by and have lunch. It was very clean and welcoming. It looks very new as it just opened not too long ago. Service was great and friendly. We ordered chicken Pho and Mien pho. Chicken plate was separated from the noodles. The broth was awesome and delicious as chicken. It also comes with the special sauce which you either dip chicken into or mix with your chicken broth to bring up more flavors. Their prices were reasonable and there more dishes with chickens on the menu. Will be back to try different dishes next time.

Yelp
Visited Disneyland and was craving pho, except I wanted CHICKEN PHO. I don't ever order chicken pho and will only eat the chicken pho I cook myself or my mom. When I saw the good reviews for this pho shop and how delicious the chicken pho looked, I had to give it a try and stopped by. It's definitely a hole in the wall restaurant, I hope one day they will open one in SD too. Their customer service is amazing, upon coming in, we were greeted right away and everyone was so nice. We tried the egg rolls, beef dish with rice, stir fry noodles, chicken pho, and beef pho. The egg rolls definitely tasted like most pho shops I have visited. The beef plate was delicious, the meat was tender, juicy, and had well balanced flavors. The beef pho was so yummy, I loved the broth and the meat they used, definitely made me think of my mom's pho. The stir fry noodles were simple. Now on to the chicken pho... NOW THAT WAS DELICIOUS!!! The best chicken pho at a restaurant I have ever ate. The thick noodles hit the spot. I loved how they had the steamed chicken with the ginger dip on the side. Most pho shops just toss the chicken in with the broth and don't offer the classic Vietnamese ginger dip for the chicken. This really hit home for more and it was mouth watering. I would have ate another bowl if I could. Overall, great service and food.

Yelp
The good: My toddler never says no to pho so it's what we try to eat when we really want her to get a good meal in. We got seated right away but there were no more tables after us so they definitely were busy on a Monday afternoon. The shop is pretty small. I got the chicken thigh rice plate and the pho ga. I was pleasantly surprised to see the ginger nuoc mam with the pho. The chicken thigh was crispy and had a nice dark brown soy sauce dip. The owner seems to be very hands on and it definitely looks like a labor of love. He brings the food to guests' tables and ensures that people enjoy their meal. The bad: The pho broth flavor is very subtle and almost bland. There's no outdoor seating. The parking lot gets crowded. The interesting: Vietnamese ga roti dishes usually come with red rice but here the rice was yellow.
google avatar

Yelp
Great prices for what you get. The chicken for pho was very good. The broth was saltier by the time I finished my bowl. Great services. Easy to find parking.

Yelp
The chicken pho at this restaurant is exceptional, with a broth that is flavorful even before adding hoisin and Sriracha sauces. The homemade noodles are a standout, offering a perfect blend of thickness, tenderness, and a pleasant bounciness. The chicken meat served on the side tastes like traditional farm-raised "walking chicken," a term used in Vietnamese cuisine, providing an authentic flavor and texture. Upon entering, you're greeted by friendly staff who promptly seat you. During my visit, the restaurant was initially quiet, but it quickly filled up, showcasing its popularity with a bustling lunch crowd and a line of customers waiting to be seated. I highly recommend visiting this place for an authentic and delicious dining experience.

Yelp
The customer service was amazing and the time it took for us to get our food was little to none. This was one of the best Vietnamese food restaurants we've been to. It has lots of space and had really good air conditioning. 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
The food was great, we were seated quickly and the service was good! The lemonade was made fresh to order and was so refreshing but not too sweet which I love!!!!

Annie N.

Yelp
Service was pretty fast, we went at 12pm and it was not busy yet as it was just about lumch time. Got seated right away and ordered passion fruit sodas, special plate of rice w chicken, crunchy rice roll with shaken beef, and chicken pho. Pho and rice w chicken came out fast, along with the drinks. The rice roll took a little longer since it's needed to be fried, so it's understandable. The food was really good our group liked it all. The restaurant has decent amount of seats and tables, and cool with the ac blasted. Highly recommend if ypu want to try something new woth viet food you don't usually get!!!
google avatar

ThanhThu T.

Yelp
Food is ok, not really good. Service is not good enough to take 18% tip from customer. However, they even charged tip on the food to go amount. We will never come back and not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
google avatar

Trung N.

Yelp
Very good pho ga here..2nd location in anaheim..I still go back and forth to the other location in Westminster..
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
Food ****-- still my favorite spot if I'm craving for chicken pho there isn't many places like this anymore and you can try their shaken beef w deep fried rice paper rolls which is pretty special if you like crunchy stuff. I also loved their salted fish fried rice better than many Chinese places Service *****-- really friendly and always checking the customer unlike many pho place you get below average service since they think pho is like fast food maybe? Usually you need to decide what to eat swiftly also pay at the counter Ambiance ****-- it's family style but the reason I gave 4 is because the cleanliness and the thought that they put in trying to stay that way. Chopsticks are inside a bucket with lid and sauce tray is always clean

Yelp
Pho ga hai van 2 is a great local stop for your chicken pho cravings. The chicken meat was well cooked and comes with a nice sweet ginger sauce. The soup itself felt more on the bland side though I didn't mind too much. The waiter recommended the beverages multiple times which makes me believe thats its probably really good, unfortunately i was all sweets out for the day. Maybe next time
google avatar

Yelp
We love Pho Ga Hai Van 2!! My little family and I come here often after our morning walks and we always recommend this place to others! Tbh, I thought I wouldn't be a fan of chicken pho (their popular dish) but LET ME TELL YOU, it is SO GOOD!! That is all I eat now. I love the big noodles with the combo chicken pho, but regular small noodles are good too! They also have vinegar onions, which I looooove! My 3yr old loves this place and even she eats all her noodles! Not to mention, she loves their Passion Fruit Soda. If you're coming here with your parents, I recommend the Pennywort Juice for them. It's a green drink that's not too sweet and the older folks love it. Anyway, I couldn't recommend this spot enough. It's cute and small, with about 12 tables, just it's just right for a small family to come and enjoy lunch together. The staff is also very attentive and makes sure you have everything you need. Come check out if you can and please at least TRY THEIR CHICKEN PHO!!! Game changer.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
Broth doesn't need any flavoring because it's that good. Nice drinks too. Service is perfect. Super kind and friendly!!!! Clean and will go back again. Food bomb, I'd try everything on their menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Started coming here for about a year now, and i never noticed the different in noddles until i came here. I noodles were nice and soft a fair portion of protein! Gets the job done . I don't often order appetizers but the shrimp pork egg rolls are a must! Thank you for your kind service as. THAI TEA IS FIRE AF AS WELL ‍

Yelp
Parking: 10/10. No issue with parking every time I go there. Food: 8/10. It's a good standard place to get pho ga and other variations of the soup. Chicken rice dish can be dry at times. Ambiance: spacious seating and workers are always nice and attentive!

Yelp
Once again, I rarely to write a yelp review but this cute restaurant here got me good . My mom doesn't eat beef or pork so whenever we go out to eat, chicken is one of the very few options that we have. We've been to many pho shops that serve chicken pho , and we are Vietnamese too, so we know how the good chicken pho tastes like. We're from san diego just happened to be in the area today, looked on yelp and this restaurant popped up. Now this will be my go to place whenever we craving for chicken pho. We got the chicken pho with thigh, the rice plates, the ga chien nuoc mam. The chicken meat was perfect, juicy, flavorful, good portions, the vegetable side dish comes with the pho was fresh, the nuoc mam( fish sauce) were on point. The chicken salad was perfect with the amount of onion, sauce , vegetables. Normally the chicken meat in the salad was often made dry, but not here. Cute atmosphere, clean, great decorations, the chopsticks containers with cap on was my favorite, protect it from dust, flies... Now back to the food, we got so full because we finished it all. Wish we took pictures of the dishes that we can post it here. Only one pic that i took to show my sister where we were eating. We'll come back next time to try other dishes on menu for sure.

Yelp
The service here is outstanding. The food by far #1. Please bring family and friends you will not regret it. The restaurant is always clean and ready to serve you. Thank you, my daughter and I love eating here.

Yelp
Rich and clean broth, fresh noodles, tender meat - so satisfying! I've only had pho ga (chicken pho) a handful of times, so I'm not a connoisseur, but the flavor and texture were on point from noodles to meat. We got the Pho Ga Dac Biet (combo), which includes light and dark meat, which was so tender! On the side, we also had a plate of innards, which included gizzard, liver, and egg yolks. I also loved how they used FRESH pho noodles, the texture is much more enjoyable than the dried ones. The portion is plentiful and you'll be feeling wholesome. ----------⁣⁣⁣⁣ Dining date: October 20, 2023 Full review and video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CyxDNYoLeSW/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== ⁣

Yelp
DONT COME HERE!!!!!! extremely unprofessional especially since they don't care about quality of their food. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. They handed only part of the pho to my dad 10 mins in and I was left to wait 20 mins for my food.. I ordered combination fried rice. The quality of the fried rice was 0/10 and it harden 1 minute after they gave me it. The waitress was rude when I asked her if I can switch it for something else on the menu or get it taken off the bill since I took 1 bite and my dad one bite. She refused and stated they make it "fresh" every day and there's nothing she can do. I asked for a discount and she still continued to say that's just how they make their fried rice, "super hard". There was also a piece of hair on my plate but I removed it since I didn't want to be rude but I should've take a pic!!!! do not come here!!!
google avatar

Nhan L.

Yelp
Headed here on a Saturday morning with my family when they opened. We were a large group and seated quickly. The service was helpful and overall pretty good. Ordered the pho ga dac biet which comes with multiple chicken parts (wing, breast, drumstick). Portions were very large and was able to share one bowl with my wife. The broth was light but seemed salty without not a huge punch of flavor. Wouldn't be my go to spot, but was good overall

Khoa T.

Yelp
- pho ga - clean tasty broth, big noodles have good texture, and they give plenty of herbs / jalapeño - pho bo tai - beef broth is very flavorful and soothing to enjoy - com ga chien - very crispy and hot chicken like it was freshly fried 100%. The sauce goes well with it, and the rice has a good savory chicken broth flavor They usually have a nice Viet playlist of the latest pop songs, so I would use my Shazam app to get the song name. Service is friendly and welcoming in general. Very clean restaurant too.
google avatar

Celine T.

Yelp
Very good chicken pho! Love how they put the steamed chicken on the side, not in the soup. And the chicken isn't dry like other places! I don't like chicken skin, so I always ask for it off and they are able to accommodate that. The broth is super clean and fresh. Hits the spot, especially on these cold rainy days recently! Service is quick and friendly. The guy who served us (sorry I don't remember your name!) was funny and made us laugh a bit, which made our meal even better. After getting chicken pho here, I can't really get chicken pho anywhere else!! Treat yourself to a comforting chicken pho, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
Exceptional chicken pho broth with tender, flavorful dark meat. My chicken and rice was nicely done with similarly good rice and an awesome dipping sauce that was gingery and mildly sweet. The rib eye pho was also well above average with quality beef and robust broth. That said, not quite 5 stars because the portions were on meager side especially given the prices. Would consider ordering again to explore more of the dishes.
google avatar

Tn Phát P.

Yelp
Food is a little salty but good overall. The service is helpful and friendly. Interior is clean.
google avatar

Uyen N.

Yelp
This was my favorite restaurant for chicken pho, I love the soup it's tasty and fresh chicken but the more I visit the food was change and it got so badly and the more disappointed because the service and the owner I guess so defensive there service look like they don't need customers.when I told them about the pho was sourced and the taste weird and they just said it's normal nothing changed I feel very very disappointed because I pay for the food and didn't happy with it.
google avatar

Kat D.

Yelp
Best chicken pho! Super flavorful broth and tender chicken. I also love their passionfruit soda drink. Great spot to go if you're ever hungover or just craving some good soup.
google avatar

mike c.

Yelp
Authentic pho with friendly service, but in a sketchy plaza with homeless hanging around. I really liked their avocado shake. I wish they had more menu options. Pho Gai is their specialty and I normally prefer steak, but it's a nice change with their interesting fish / ginger sauce. Their fried noodle and ribeye is tasty but I don't like things double fried and its more of a dish for sharing than to be consumed by one person.

Uyen T.

Yelp
I went to eat there with stale rice and old chicken after eating I had a stomach ache. Advise everyone to be wary of empty restaurants. Will receive old unsafe food

Tzetzangary I.

Yelp
Everything was so good! Everybody was so friendly. The music set a relaxing atmosphere. We love it here, definitely coming back!

Yajaira F.

Yelp
Place is so good and ingredients are fresh! Loved everything I ordered and having an earlier schedule is perfect because I have lunch at an earlier time too. For sure a staple!
google avatar

Elvis W.

Yelp
The pho is certified dank and they got these extra spicy peppers on the side that SMACK
google avatar

Katrin M.

Yelp
Love their chicken pho because it comes with a dipping sauce!!! Their Thai tea is also very tasty. They also have great service as well.

Alan G.

Yelp
Great food and service. This chicken was the best. Like the fact that they remembered us and extended great service again
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
Excellent, hole-in-the-wall, pho and Vietnamese joint. Friendly, no-nonsense service. Takes credit cards. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. I got the beef pho. I do wish that they had tripe and tendon and different combos, rather than just thinly sliced beef eye round. That said, the quality of meat and ingredients and flavor was very high. Great anise flavor. It didn't feel MSG-filled, and I wasn't parched after eating it. Generous serving of noodles. You can choose "fresh" (raw) or steamed bean sprouts to add to the soup. I opted for fresh because I love that crunch. Seems like a great neighborhood joint and I appreciate that it opens really early (9:30am) if you have a hankering for a breakfast pho like I did!
google avatar

Anh N.

Yelp
Hand down the best chicken pho in OC seriously !!!! I haven been coming here for years now especially their Westminster location but this is my first time coming their 2nd location in Anaheim. Yes!! Both locations are also good from the food and their customers service. Usually if you go to any Vietnamese restaurant, you don't really expect good service. I like their new decoration in their new location; it looks brighter than their OG and clean too. This is the best chicken pho for any special healing days or even hangover soup!!!
google avatar

Janice L.

Yelp
Their free range chicken is so fresh and there's options to choose chicken thigh only. The chicken thigh comes out intact. Ohhh so good. The chicken soup is flavorful and the fresh wide noodles are yummy too. I added a Chinese donut to put in the soup to soak up the soup flavor. It's not on the menu but a photo of it is at the main counter. I ordered fried chicken but didn't realize that it was spicy so some of the folks I was with could not eat it. The flavor was good and it was fried nicely. They also made an exception to cook crispy noodles with beef. Typically they do it with seafood only. For the drinks, the pennywort drink felt so healthy. Satisfied and full
google avatar

Lynn H.

Yelp
I got glass noodle pho and egg rolls, sooooo bomb!!!! The broth doesn't even need extra sauce

Thomas M.

Yelp
came here 4 times now and the food is always anazing. I get the shaken beef noodles and my wife gets the pho, both are very good
google avatar

Marissa L.

Yelp
I was craving pho so my boyfriend and I came here for lunch. The inside is very plain looking, but very clean. We were seated right away as the place was pretty empty on a weekend afternoon. I saw that their chicken pho was really good here, but I was really craving some beef. I just got the rare beef pho and a Thai milk tea to drink. Service was quick. We got our drinks first and our food soon after. Their Thai tea was really good, not too sweet and creamy. My boyfriend got their fried rice for his lunch. My pho was pretty good, the beef was tender and the broth was clean and really good with the addition of hoisin and sriracha. My boyfriend really liked his fried rice, it had Chinese sausage in it. I had a few bites and really enjoyed it. I think if we come here next time though I'll have to try out their chicken pho.

Melissa K.

Yelp
First, loved the fresh-squeezed lemonade! Wanted a quick bite while waiting for laundry to finish, and this place HIT THE SPOT!! Ordered the egg rolls, and the combo fried rice, delicious! It came with a small bow of simple, but flavorful broth. Yummy!! Thanks, PhoGaHV 2!!

Martha O.

Yelp
Amazing Pho. The best in Anaheim. I truly recommend this place , come and check it out. Amazing customer service. 100% recommended

Yelp
Our first time here and we loved it! We love it so much my husband order to go . Service speak good English too Ty Tri.
