"The chicken noodle come with a variety of chicken cuts, but the tender thigh is a favourite – perfect in both soup and dry noodle dishes. Mix and match thigh and wings or wings and breast, adding condiments to taste. Open until midnight, it’s a popular late-night spot." - Michelin Inspector

Very good bowl of Pho Ga. The little pork balls you can get as an addition were great, highly recommend. The fried dough sticks were a little on the hard side (even after dunking). I prefer it when they’re fresh so you can do a couple of dips instead of leaving it in the bowl for a few mins. I went for the mixed (breast and thigh). The breast was far too dry (even for breast) it was like it wasn’t freshly chopped. Next time I’d stick with something that doesn’t spoil as quickly. Overall is was good, doesn’t make it into my top 5 Hanoi Pho Ga.

Serves a pretty good chicken pho, and definitely a must-try for people who want to eat pho but can't eat beef. We tried both the dry and soup versions. Soup pho is better in my opinion. Their highlight is a light but still robust chicken soup profile, which is tasty enough just with a zest of lime. Not necessary to spoil the flavour with additional chilli whatsoever. The dry version is also doable, with it being lightly mixed with soy sauce. Their chicken has a nice texture, though slightly tough to chew off, but cooked just nice. It's somewhere that I'll definitely go back again for the experience of sitting on the roadside and having one good pho.

Street Food that was recommended by a local. We had and order of the Wet Chicken Pho and an order of the Dry Chicken Pho. Both were very tasty and inexpensive for the amount we received. We also had the fried bread, which was a bit oily, but good. Definitely a local place to eat, right on the sidewalk. Less than 200,000 Dong for our meal with 3 Cokes.

We had both the soup and dry versions, and personally liked the dry one more. The chicken soup tasted a mixture of herbs which wasn't the best I had but it's a personal preference as I prefer the chicken taste to be more prominent. For the chicken we got the thigh meat which came nicely cooked, the skin had a more firm texture- somewhat similar to pickled chicken feet texture. The chicken itself had no extra seasoning so it was just the taste of chicken.

A traditional chicken-Pho restaurant which received Michelin award in the last two years (2023 and 2024). They have English menu with photos, staff can speak good English and price is very okay, you don't have to worry about being overcharged here, but as far as I know they have not accepted credit card yet. Still, all in all one of my favourite Pho in Hanoi.

Came here with my husband for his first chicken pho and he really liked it. He even said the chili sauce was the best he's had in Hanoi. The place is a little on the dirty side, but that's part of the authentic street food vibe. The crowd is a good mix of locals and tourists. If you're not picky about the atmosphere, it’s a solid spot for a good bowl of pho.

Highly recommend this place to anyone for CHICKEN PHO - whether you love chicken or not! The broth had such a light consistency and yet tastes deep! It was aromatic with spring onions and white/black pepper, and we could taste the flavours of simmering chicken bones for long. Each bowl also comes with a generous amount of chicken - not skimping at all. The pho noodles are smooth and slippery, very nice. Affordable tooo - overall Just so WORTH IT.

Pho Ga Nguyen is a great spot for a delicious bowl of chicken pho! I had the chicken thigh pho and it was really good - flavorful broth, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked noodles. The service was quick and friendly, and the pho was served piping hot. Bonus tip: got there just before 11:30am and saw a bunch of people queuing up around 11:45am, so timing was on my side! Would definitely recommend if you're a fan of chicken pho.
