"The chicken noodle come with a variety of chicken cuts, but the tender thigh is a favourite – perfect in both soup and dry noodle dishes. Mix and match thigh and wings or wings and breast, adding condiments to taste. Open until midnight, it’s a popular late-night spot." - Michelin Inspector

The PHỞ is delicious, with tender noodles and a light, delicate broth. The chicken is sweet and flavorful. The staff work quickly with professional movements. The price is a bit higher than local eateries, but it’s definitely worth it. I heard the PHỞ TRỘN here is also very good, but I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, I’ll save it for next time

A very nice bowl of chicken pho in the Old Quarter. Went for the smallest bowl as this was my first time trying the chicken option in Hanoi. It was very nice. Definitely will come back. Super efficient service and options to eat in shop or outside.

Sgrean discovering good food in Hanoi 😁 Like & Follow me for more. 👍👍👍 The establishment here does Chicken Pho. We ordered the thigh meat with soup. Broth is flavourful, and meat is tender, however the extra drumstick, somehow its tougher. 😂 The dry version is tasty too, you can add in chill, garlic and condiments available on the table. Overall its a good meal. 打卡成功!

Very simple shopfront by the roadside. Their chicken pho tasted like a nice soul-warming dish. They are very generous with the serving of the chicken breast, thigh and offals. Ordered a side of pork meatballs which seemed handmade with proper pork and black fungus in it - none of those cheap processed pork balls! However, the hygiene of the place didn’t seem to be the best but we did squeeze the lime that was left on a basket on a table and we had no problems the next day. Really wanted to try the chili but decided against it.

I found this local Vietnamese pho shop highly recommended on social media. Located in the heart of Hanoi, I personally believe this restaurant is underrated. The price is incredibly affordable, a refreshing change from some of the more famous, overpriced establishments. It feels like a genuinely honest business. The chicken pho here is truly exceptional and unforgettable. The chicken is cooked to perfection tender and juicy, with delightfully smooth and bouncy skin that bursts with flavor in every bite. It's a truly enjoyable culinary experience. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. I only had two days in Hanoi, but if I had more time, I would have definitely returned. The chicken pho is a must try.

Very good bowl of Pho Ga. The little pork balls you can get as an addition were great, highly recommend. The fried dough sticks were a little on the hard side (even after dunking). I prefer it when they’re fresh so you can do a couple of dips instead of leaving it in the bowl for a few mins. I went for the mixed (breast and thigh). The breast was far too dry (even for breast) it was like it wasn’t freshly chopped. Next time I’d stick with something that doesn’t spoil as quickly. Overall is was good, doesn’t make it into my top 5 Hanoi Pho Ga.

Omg so good! It’s packed with locals for a reason. We got the dry chicken pho with chicken thighs, the meatballs, and the dough sticks. Delicious. There’s things on the side to dress up your bowl the way you like it as well. I asked for extra fried shallots on the side and they brought it to me right away 😋 this was our last meal in Hanoi and I am glad we chose this spot! It was 200k total for the two of us, with everything in the photo and two drinks. We were stuffed! It’s not the best environment but you have to close your eyes and open your mouth as yummyface would say!

Serves a pretty good chicken pho, and definitely a must-try for people who want to eat pho but can't eat beef. We tried both the dry and soup versions. Soup pho is better in my opinion. Their highlight is a light but still robust chicken soup profile, which is tasty enough just with a zest of lime. Not necessary to spoil the flavour with additional chilli whatsoever. The dry version is also doable, with it being lightly mixed with soy sauce. Their chicken has a nice texture, though slightly tough to chew off, but cooked just nice. It's somewhere that I'll definitely go back again for the experience of sitting on the roadside and having one good pho.
