The essential Vietnamese pho restaurants in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"With bowls of hot broth ready to hit the table minutes after ordering, this modest restaurant is just right for warming up on chilly nights. Portions are generous and bowls filled with oxtail, ribeye, and seafood swirl with green onion, cilantro, basil, and bean sprouts." - Janna Karel

Google
Have been here several times. Lots of menu options - I can personally vouch that they have delicious canh chua, delicious bun bo hue and delicious coconut kumquat drink. Love that our Caucasian server pronounces things in Vietnamese better than many Vietnamese people I know lol. Will be back for sure.

Google
This is a nice Vietnamese noodle restaurant that serves traditional fare like Pho, spring rolls, broken rice, etc. overall, it has a hip atmosphere and the food is good and tasty. Good experience.

Google
Good place to eat Vietnamese traditional food (canh chua, cả kho to) First time visiting and we received a very warm welcoming service for as Vietnamese restaurant, love the place very clean and high ceilings feel so comfortable, the food was was goods. Kim Long you are no longer #1 no no more. Would recommend to everyone visiting Las Vegas who looking for Vietnamese traditional foods.

Google
The service was fantastic, and the food was astronomical! I ate here twice and had pho, hot pot, and a coconut - all were absolutely phenomenal. I’m only visiting for a few days, but would recommend this restaurant to anyone :)

Google
Visited to re-try the place as locals. Where just knowing pho is around was good enough back then. I'm not sure if their prices are worth it. Broth seems okay clean, light but a little plain. I like their take out to-go containers which you can just eat out of. When it comes to pho and bun bo hue goodies, they like almost one of each item just to meet there marketed list. There are more slices of meat but a normal amount compared to other places which were okay. Bun bo hue was nothing special. Pho broth was okay. But I do appreciate it being a bit more clean (don't feel the heavy msg in here compared to other places). If they either offered more or better quality goodies, or just tad more flavorful broth, then maybe might be worth it? We're still looking for our favorite casual pho joint. Everything seems disappointing or underwhelming from someone coming from SoCal (626 and Westminster taste buds). Many of these places are priced either the same or higher than SoCal prices, but no where close in satisfaction. Old 2 years ago review: Combination and broken rice dish was decent. Pretty interior wall art. Our server was non-Asian, understood English. Great for random pho craving driving down the street.

Google
Got a table very quickly. Ordered Egg rolls fried nicely, good flavor. Ribeye beef Pho the ribeye was tender. Catfish Clay Pot the Catfish was very boney so be careful while chewing. Note: it takes 10-15 minutes to prepare so be patient.

Google
The restaurant is located in Chinatown area. The parking lot is small so parking could be a challenge. The restaurant is a good size and the decor is modern. The restaurant is clean. The service is very good. The food is very good. There are tvs in this restaurant and they serve beer. Winter is a perfect time for pho soup.

Google
I have not had pho since before the pandemic when I lived in another state. I have not attempted to find pho in Vegas. My lunch was accidental. Actually planned to try Gabi’s which is in the same strip mall but it was crowded and loud so tried Pho Gia Lynh instead. Loved the décor, cleanliness, and more importantly the food. I will absolutely return.

Yelp
The pho broth is excellent, but but but...If you are craving for different type of noodles non-broth type..try vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. Add chili peppers provided. Different types with grilled protein meats. Good vegetables mixed together and you'll get a nice vermicelli pasta type dish. Good flavors here. Service is always good and nice ambience with good spacings.

Yelp
During a visit in Las Vegas, I narrowed down my choices to several highly rated Vietnamese eateries hoping to score authentic Hot and Sour Tamarind Soup and Claypot Catfish. It's huge restaurant with high celings and really bright lights. The presentation of the dishes and soup was appealing especially with the side dish of pickled vegetable mix. Tastewise the soup there was a lack of the true herbs that make tamarind soup pop, particularly the absence of sawtooth herbs, rice paddy herbs, and sweetness of pineapple chunks. A positive note would be that they do include nice sized shrimp but is a really pain to have to peel. Another downsize is that none od them were devined despite the fact their shells were cut from the tail most of the way up to the head. The catfish had good flavor but portion size was not commensurate to the price in my opinion. When I asked the server about the aforementioned missing ingredients, she stated those were too costly to buy so they opted not to include in their recipe. Why sell something when you lack the essentials? I would not return again as it did not meet expectations.

Yelp
Some of my friends' fav but not mine. Soup was too lukewarm when it's served, spring rolls were good but I've had better.

Yelp
The food was pretty good. The portion size was about right. My husband and I both got XL ribeye pho. I also got a side of meatballs. The meats were pretty good quality. The soup base wasn't too bad. The noodles didn't break apart, which was great. The egg rolls tasted good as well. Service was good, attentive. It was pretty empty when arrived but that's okay. The ambiance was nice. The ocean theme decor was soothing. Overall, the experience was great.

Yelp
Have been here twice now during the making of this review, Both times were very good ! This place definitely needs to be well more known I had gotten their rice plate and combination pho and they were both better than what I usually have ! Service was also very nice, the interior and bathrooms were clean, and another thing I specifically liked was the choice of music lol , they had songs I enjoy playing so that was a plus. Thank you guys !!!

Yelp
Craving pho and wanted a new place to try out so we stopped at Pho Gai Lynh. We walked in and was greeted right away and guided to a waiting table Hubby ordered vermicelli noodles dish with charbroiled pork, egg rolls and shrimps. The shrimp were huge! I know cuz I stole one off his bowl lol I ordered an XL combination bowl of traditional pho which hit the spot. I ordered without onions and there was not a single onions in sight. Thank you for that. I also mentioned that I would be sharing my pho and our server brought us an extra bowl without me having to ask. That's service! Thank you! Our water was served in a to go cup which is a plus considering it was hot out so we could take it with us. I noticed they had an extensive list of drinks and tropical fruit smoothies including durian, soursop, jackfruit smoothies along with tri-color jelly drinks. The traditional Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, soju and beer. I'll have to go back and try those someday. Service was a delight. Mathew and his partner were attentive and efficient and they speaks perfect English. How refreshing! The ambience was also nice and looked new. Venue was clean and modern with white furnishing and textured walls. It was not crowded. There was no crookedly hanging posters or TV. They look like they had a bar area too and English music playing in the background. It was a bit warm so A/C could be cranked up a bit more Thank you! We'll be back soon

Yelp
We want to try a new pho place when visiting Las Vegas this time. Pho Gia Linh looks promising and has good yelp reviews. We arrived around noon on Friday and there are plenty of tables available. The place is nice and clean. The two servers were super friendly. We were so impressed with their knowledge of the menu. The soups were great and we will definitely come back to visit. I removed one star because the soups were not as hot as it should be.
google avatar

Natasha M.

Yelp
This seriously beat all other Pho places in my opinion. When we came in it was slower as we just missed the rush. The server was extremely helpful and was very informative as to what each meat type meant. He suggested we come back for their Hotpots so definitely coming back to see the hype! Overall the food was 10/10. When they said XL they meant EXTRA LARGE. Portions were amazing. I'm full and taking some home lol! The overall look of the restaurant is very modern and beautifully designed. Very clean and just aesthetically pleasing. I will be coming back and bring friends and I definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to eat this is it.

Yelp
Been wanted to stop by here for awhile, but this located almost end of Chinatown, close to Jones St, took me awhile, but finally here. I stopped by around 3pm, of course nobody here but one table, seem like the two ladies already finish but stay for chatting. First walked in, the lady at the front didn't smile or anything, just asked 1? And took me to the table. I'm thinking oh god, one of those mean Asian people. The place look super clean, and saw the A inspection, so I knew I'm good. Ordered the Combination Pho, giving the option regular or XL, of course I'm going with the XL, didn't order anything else because I don't know how big the XL actually is. When the bowl came, OMG, is big, loving it. Now most Pho restaurants, their Pho don't have much meat, but this place actually put a lot of meats in it, make it worth it Soup is delicious too, definitely going back Now, remember the lady at the front? She actually very nice, even tho the restaurant only have two tables with customers, she came and check on me, refill my water, and the two ladies been sitting there chatting? They were done for awhile, but the server still checking on them, making sure their glass are full. Great service!

Yelp
We came here at around 9:30pm after a long day at the airports. The hours say open until 10pm but last seating is around 9:30 and you must order by 9:45 (I think). We had no issues because I called ahead and knew in advance. Just thought I should put it out here so others are aware. Restaurant employees want to go home too! We ordered phở đặc biệt - broth was flavorful. We are picky with our pho and this one we approve of. Bún thịt nướng chả giò - it was ok, the meat was marinated well, very flavorful. Cơm tấm sườn heo - my 9year old approved. Service was OK. Nice and clean. I would come back.

Yelp
Second trip today .... Got there around 1:00 . Figured on a Saturday the place would be packed, this was reinforced by the fact that the lot was packed. (Obviously other businesses had patrons too). But anyway, only 4-5 tables were occupied. Our party were the only non native pho eaters there again. We ordered goi cuon chay. (Vegetarian fresh spring rolls). My dining partner ordered pho dat biet (combo pho @ $15.95 for the medium). I ordered the pho TU Chon. I guess that's their take on pho tai (rare steak) theirs is filet mignon and the medium went for $15.95. The fresh spring rolls were tasty with some fried tofu as the protein. The peanut sauce was excellent. The medium bowls were chock filled of noodles and let me tell you, the amount of meat and meat products (meatballs etc. In the combo) was almost overwhelming in the amount we got. The broth was a bit tangy, just right with the addition of hoisin and siracha sauces and a squeeze of lime. The bean sprouts were crispy, the basil, maybe a bit past prime but still tasty. I finished mine, but my dining partner saved about half for another meal. Water is served in take out cups.... Unfortunately, no military discount. They do have a pretty neat wireless hands free toothpick dispenser and the restroom (s) were clean.... Score!

Yelp
Piping hot pho soup, great flavor, tasty meats so well trimmed and cooked. Sparkling clean and comfortable seats. Friend attentive staff. No wonder the reviews are solid. Got the build your own pho. Had tendon, filet minion and fatty flank. So good

Yelp
Service was super speedy! Loved the ice water in a to go cup too! The pho itself was pretty good with ample portions of brisket. Ambiance was clean and decent. Would probably stop here again sometime.

Yelp
$15 for a mediocre shrimp fried rice. $5 for a thai iced tea. The ambience is nice, tall ceilings.

Yelp
Food was extremely good but service was a bit on the slower side. However although they were a bit slow, they were extremely nice. I ordered the charbroiled pork and everything about it was really good.

Yelp
This is one of my very best Pho's in Vegas. We come here all the time. All of the servers are very friendly and they always provide good customer service. The restaurant is really pleasant, clean, and has a very nice art on their wall. Their french fries are very delicious and crispy so definitely recommend!

Yelp
Pho Gia Lynh is located in a new long warehouse like building along with several other delicious eateries such as Ramen Hashi, Hobak Korean BBQ, Gabi Coffee, Chanko Shabu and Tora Katsu and Curry. We got 3 dishes to share between the 4 of us and had a box of leftover for the next day. The shaking beef was great, cooked on a very hot wok that gave it plenty of wok hei. The broken rice plate was big enough to feed 2 people, included Chinese sausage, grilled pork chop, steamed egg cake, tofu skin wrapped shrimp paste, pork skin, and fried egg. Everything was tasty, especially the big juicy grilled pork chop. The pho tai was the only dish that caused me to deduct a star. It was on the salty side and not as savory and fragrant as I would expect. The beef also didn't come raw on the side, which was why it was tough.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
Great staff, fresh and tasty spring rolls. Better than others I've tried. Generous filling and a solid amount of protein. Stopped by for lunch and was able to study while I ate. The servers were very kind to me. Worth a visit.
google avatar

Phi N.

Yelp
Stopped in after a massage next door. We split the com tam dac biet and a bun bo hue. Com tam dac biet - pretty good with a well marinated pork chop. Weird that they would serve it with lap xuong but not have chao tom. The bun bo hue was solid; I feel like the broth could be more flavorful but still good enough. What bumped this up from a 3 star to a 4 star was the fresh pepper. It made every bite better. -Prices here might be a little higher than other places in chinatown, but they keep this place very clean. They decided to invest in cleanliness. We'll see if it pays off and they stick around
google avatar

Kriss P.

Yelp
OMG! Go here if you love a good spring roll. Not 100% up there with Brodard in Fountain Valley, CA but Pho Gia gives them a local run for their money. Rolls are full and the sauces are complimentary. Delicious especially with an added side of chili oil. Their pork sausage is the way to go. No issues when it comes to finding this place. It was bright, welcoming, and totally worth the stop if you want a fresh and tasty springy. I have yet to try their pho but I'm looking forward to my next visit!
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
Their service is always phenomenal, they are kind and patient. Best pho I've had . I've been here 3 times and each is always a 10/10 experience. If I could kiss the chefs I would HAHAHA

Yelp
Went here as a last minute resort. The food was not as good as it looked. The restaurant wasn't busy, but for one person bussing tables and taking orders it sure was. Our server was so sweet, we felt so bad she was doing everything by herself. The pho broth was very bland, our waters were in plastic soda to go cups and they squeezed lime in it. We wanted just regular water. My mom got the vermicelli noodles, not enough sauce was given so we gave her our sauce from our eggrolls. Eggrolls were good. My brother said his bowl tasted like soap from Not washing the bowls properly. Over all the food wasn't as great. The place is so beautiful but such a shame the food didn't match.

Yelp
Pho Gia Lynh is one of the cleanest pho restaurants I've ever eaten at. You'll get exactly what I mean, as you step into this spacious and well designed modern restaurant. We were craving pho after hanging out at Gäbi Coffee & Bakery and with our luck, Pho Gia Lynh was right next door. And lucky us, it was a fantastic decision. We got there before the lunch hour hit, which was perfect timing on our end. You get the same level of service, execution and quality of pho without the typical dirtiness, stickiness and grimy feeling you'd expect at some other pho establishments. Our server was also super sweet and kind too, and was patient as we decided on what to order. The best part? The pho was so good - much better than I expected too! While the price is a bit higher than other Vietnamese restaurants, you get a significant amount more of food. Seriously, I was surprised how much food they gave when we only ordered a size medium. They're definitely generous with their portions, which is a huge plus, and it comes piping hot - the way it authentically should be. Overall, I would come to Pho Gia Lynh again, if we're in the area. The place is definitely a solid addition to the Spring Mountain area, which is already crowded with a ton of great eats. We also had a good amount of space from our neighbors too, and the place wasn't too loud, which is perfect for friends and/or families looking for a place to chat and catch up.

Ashley P.

Yelp
Service 10/10 -- super friendly and attentive staff also fast service Pho 9.5/10 -- great flavor broth - salty and heavy, great for hangovers. Tastes like pho from home and most authentic pho I've had in Las Vegas Bo luc lac (shaken beef) 9/10 -- super tender and packed with flavor Overall some of the best pho in las vegas
google avatar

J T.

Yelp
Food not bad, huge portions for fair prices Service is meh. Not really friendly Ambiance is open spacious family dining style They will include babies as part of gratuity party charge

Yelp
Pho Gia Lynh has calming lights and a blue watercolor-like interior. It is not like the pho places I have gone through in the past. It was very unique from other places I have gone to. Minimalistic and serene, it was fairly quiet for a weekday afternoon. We were greeted by a waiter for our whole family. He seemed really shy. I got a medium sized make your own pho with brisket. I was kind of disappointed to hear that they do not have fresh pho noodles. Those are usually the best with these. On top of that, the water is served in coke cups. They do not have reusable cups like other restaurants may have. I just find it a waste of resources. The pho bowl was fantastic. This place is near Chinatown and there is plenty of parking spots you can find. It is less than fifteen minutes away from the Strip in Las Vegas - a perfect way to begin the trip. The price of the food is around $15 which is pleasantly cheap for the amount of food they are providing.
google avatar

Yelp
Plenty of parking. Greeted upon entry. Fast service. I had their XL Pho Tai which was shared between me and my son. It was enough for us two. We got to sit in the booth. Soup was very flavorful. They have chili oil but you have to ask for it. It was mild/medium heat. Not as spicy as I expected. But still good. Iced Coffee was on the sweet side but enjoyable. Thai tea was good. Perfect for large groups. Super cute and updated interior.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service to begin with. My friend recommended this spot to me and the food was so good! The place looked super nice and the ambiance was nice. Gave me a modern feeling when I arrived. Give this place a solid 5! Great all around. Fire food too!
google avatar

Holdyn H.

Yelp
This is my ride or die pho spot. We Uber eat, dine in and take out. It's super clean and has lots of tables, so there is almost never a wait. Spring rolls are my favorite in town that I have had so far. The soup broth tastes like a beefy cheeseburger- which is top tier. 120% will be back, as this is my go to.
google avatar

Lady D.

Yelp
This should not be called a pho restaurant. Waited forever for a bowl of pho dac biet that never came. Wanted to try a new pho place and have driven past this place a few times so thought I tried it tonight.... Ordered pho and bun vermicelli. Took a while but vermicelli came out, finished it and still no pho. So disappointed in this place. Cancelled the pho, paid for the vermicelli and left! Not going to waste my time coming back here!

Toanvan T.

Yelp
The best Bún nước lèo in Las Vegas strip. We will be back for sure! 21 August 2024. San Jose, California

Yelp
Sister and I was craving Vietnamese food after a few days of eating other food. We stumbled upon this place, and stopped by. It did not disappoint! The server was really nice and attentive. The food was really flavorful and filling. We ordered an extra side of the broth. Put some of the rice in there, now it's a soup. It definitely satisfy the Vietnamese food craving. There was plenty of parking as it shares the parking with other establishments. The restaurant was really spacious and clean. I would totally come back to this place if I'm in town.

Yelp
Although this is my first time reviewing Pho Gia lynh it wasn't my first time trying them. After a long night out in Vegas I was craving comfort food and pho sounded like a great idea. First let me say that everytime I have been their service has been impeccable. Someone frequently stops by your table to make sure you don't need anything. 1 thing that stands out are the portions. I have had several variations of pho which are all delicious and huge. Everything is fresh and very good quality. My personal favorite are the beef rib pho and oxtail pho but everything I've had was stellar. The space is very large and accommodating so I would say it's great for large groups too. With so many great options in Chinatown it's hard to stand out but to me this is one of those.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
Pho Gia Lynh is my go-to for Com Tam (Broken Rice plate). Not a lot of restaurants in Vegas serve broken rice for some reason! Most restaurants here serve regular rice so finding this restaurant was such a relief! To my surprise, the Com Tam here is actually really good and is served with a large variety of meats! My favorite thing that comes with the Com tam is the Egg Meatloaf, it's just as briny as how my mom usually makes it at home! Overall, this place not only serves very good Vietnamese food, it is by far one of the cleanest Pho restaurants in Vegas! I give them props for always keeping the bathrooms clean and smelling good! Our server today was non-Asian, however, what really stood out to me was when delivering our food, he said the names of the dishes in Vietnamese and pronounced it so perfectly! I was super impressed!!! He was also super attentive and friendly! Can't wait to come back again!!!

Yelp
We were on our way back to LA and decided to stop by for breakfast here. The food portion was pretty decent; we were super full afterwards. The service was fast but it was a bummer he doesn't know Vietnamese, or it was just me used to speak Vietnamese in Viet restaurant all the time. I ordered Vietnamese Grilled Pork Sausage Roll - Nem Nướng Cuốn, which has cucumber in it, which I really hate :( Cucumber is my number one enemy, so I was quite disappointed. I also didn't like the dipping sauce as well. The spring roll dipping sauce was the same, I didn't like the texture or the taste, was pretty bland. My boyfriend and his parents were okay with the food so I guess I'm the picky one. The place looks clean, so as the bathroom, which is a plus.

Yelp
IMHO. Still the best Pho in LV. My fav is the build your own Pho with your choice of meats. The broth is tasty and not overloaded with MSG. The restaurant is clean including the restrooms it says a lot about the establishment. This my go to spot for Pho in LV.

Yelp
Fantastic food, super clean, very affordable prices, huge portions. It doesn't feel like the kitchen is just a few steps in front of you. I lv it. It is super clean, very spacious and relaxing. The stuff are super friendly and nice.

Yelp
First off, this place deserves 3.5 stars. Not 3. I think this place cosmetically looked awesome. It was very clean and had a hip vibe to it. Lots of space and pleasant to be in. The servers were nice and super friendly! Down the the nitty gritty. I'm not sure if the place is catered to more bland tongues, but for sure, every dish felt it was missing something. I got the nem nuong for a starter and was expecting the thick orange sauce they have at NEM in little Saigon orange county or pho bosa on twain street but they did not! The sauce had the texture of peanut sauce but tasted in between shrimp paste and peanut butter with a hint of nuc mam. I ended up asking for sweet nuc mam sauce. As for their sweet nuc mam sauce, it was fantastic. I ordered the bun bo hue. The soup was kind of thicker than other places. It looked like it was packed with flavor but it was not. It was lacking in oiliness and it didn't have that redness in a robust bun bo hue. However I give it credit for all the meat it came with. 5 stars for that and the pork blood! Yum! I also got the pho dac biet. Very bland. It just lacked the Crack they put in pho to keep you coming back. The flavor was non existent. It really tasted like diluted water with a hint of fish sauce and beef bouillon. I don't think I'll be coming back. I'm a vegas regular and I'd like to hit every pho place so on with my search for awesome vietnamese food!

Yelp
Foods was very very terrible got very very bad smells like Hot spots from Goats . Plus broken rice with pork..add very poor service be watch out about tips. Go up to 5 or more 5 people they got charged for tips..if you saw young American young men there.he would be honest to telling you..but if he wasn't there by accident who did drinking too much..then they can get twice of tips for the same charged..I didn't like Go to Vietnamese Restaurant. But my brother took us there. I will be Grade Pho Gia Linh only star for foods and Services..
google avatar

Emeri Q.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place simply because I was so happy that a Vietnamese restaurant finally opens in vegas and the menu is extensive. I'm not just a pho lover ..I'm an overall obsessed with Vietnamese food. So when I got served their version of the braised catfish's clay pot and how it was burn but the fish was not cooked right I know this is just another pho place pretending to be a Vietnamese restaurant..so sad. The egg rolls was good but a dime a dozen.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! The scent of fresh herbs and ingredients. Flavorful. PHO-tastic. Vibe is simple but clean. Focus is definitely on the quality of food and great customer service! Thank you to our server Justus!

Yelp
Love this restaurant, so clean and the food is so good. Every time we came to Vegas, our family always stop by this restaurant to eat lunch or Dinner.

Yelp
The bun salad was very good: very high quality toppings. I wish I could have tried the Pho. Very new and clean decor. Friendly and competent staff

Yelp
We came here after reading yelp review... we were NOT disappointed! The pho broth here is so clean and flavorful, the ribeye is tender and the chicken pho was excellent. Perfect after a night here in Vegas. We ordered a soursop smoothie and a coconut kumquat drink, nice and refreshing. As for the pricing it's pretty decent. Ambience is nice overall great job on cleanliness. 4.5 from us!

Yelp
Food was good price was reasonable WILL RETURN but on combination bowls maybe put a little more, it was skimped out a bit but overall good !!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for lunch and they weren't busy so we got seated immediately. They had a variety of entrees to choose from and we ended up sharing an extra large pho dac biet, pork and shrimp summer rolls, and sausage spring rolls. It was a good amount of food two people. I loved that they weren't skimpy with the sauces for the rolls. It was plenty for every bite I had. The servers were nice and accommodating for the shared pho when we asked for two small bowls.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now. The food is quite good but expensive though. The price is more expensive than OC in general. I ordered pho and prawn stew hot pot with white rice. The prawns were a bit overcooked. So they were chewy and a bit dry. (3/5) The Pho was good. The meat was so tender and the broth was good. (4/5) The service was good. (4/5) The restaurant is new and clean. l like that. Its a plus.
