"Pho is obviously on the menu at this local chain, but there are also several traditional Vietnamese dishes, from shaking beef to shrimp-stuffed crepes." - Missy Frederick

Love this place! Came here for lunch on 12/24, and the customers were steady. I had the lemongrass chicken which was very good, lots of chicken and rice. Hot condiments were on the table to spice it up. Good prices. I will definitely be back to try the pho, which a lot of people were ordering and looks amazing. Exceptionally clean and uncluttered, lots of space around the tables.

Google
Good place to get Vietnamese food. Servings are huge! Their grilled pork is so flavorful. I was expecting a different kind of chicken in butter so the one I ordered didn't quite live up to my taste but it's still good (fried chicken is fried chicken!). Will most likely get food from them again.

Google
We can count on this restaurant for good Pho, especially its Pho Hai Duong Dac Biet with all meat toppings and Bun Bo Hue, a spicy beef noodle soup. Last time, we tried our usual with Bi Cuon, rolls wrapped with shredded pork, lettuce, and rice vermicelli, which was good. We tried Com Chien Bo Luc Lac, which has shaky beef cubes with fried rice that is also tasty. Certain items on the menu are never available, such as Rau Ma Tuoi (Pennywort juice). The restaurant is decorated with Vietnamese paintings and dark wood furniture; a chandelier is a centerpiece on the ceiling, and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. Service can be improved to make the whole experience better.

After working in Vietnam for some time, got so tired of pho. But after a couple years of abstinence, started to enjoy pho again at Pho Hai Duong’s shop in Annandale. So I was happy when they opened up another location in Vienna a few minutes from our home. We don’t get to eat out as much so we order to go more often. But the owner is a really nice guy that runs both locations, so I hope you can meet him if you ever go. Pho, Bahn Xeo, Bun Bo Hue and Summer Rolls. Their Pork Chop on rice, Rice Vermicelli and Clay Pot dishes are also so good. A lot of authentic Vietnamese variety here. Love it. And so glad Danny started managing this location since early last year. Can really tell the difference in the whole operation of the place, from the food and to the service. And I prefer Pho in the States more than Vietnam.

Roundup to 4 from 3.5 stars! Since my go-to pho restaurant in Mosaic District closed door, couldn’t find a replacement until Pho Hai Duong Like their pho soup base , spring rolls & shrimp lotus root salad 👍👍

Hai Duong in Tyson Corner is a gem among its various locations. The spacious and clean ambiance immediately sets a welcoming tone. Service here is consistently good, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The food is the real star. Favorites like the aromatic bun bo hue, classic pho, savory com chien bo luc lac, crispy banh xeo, and unique bun mang vit are consistently delicious, making each visit memorable. Convenience is also a plus, with ample parking and a great location in Tyson. Whether it's your first visit or you're a regular, Hai Duong at Tyson Corner promises an exceptional Vietnamese culinary experience.

Google
This is the best pho place in the area and it has become my favorite spot. The broth always comes flavorful and hot. Service is super quick as well.

Google
Great pho at what may be the cleanest dining room ever seen… staff doing thorough table cleanings and the floor seems spotless.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with authentic music. Food was delicious and savory the price is $15 for pho. Food 8.5/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Service 8/10 I got the brisket very good portions and good amount on my pho. The large is $1 more and the sprouts plate with the mint is generous but one for two people. Hope you try it because I loved the upbeat music and the tasty pho flavor. My husband got he meatball and brisket and he said- plenty of broth and plenty delicious! The waiter knows his meats very well. First time with brisket and he told me how tendons taste like and how it's best to go for brisket when you been eating chicken pho. I love it!

Yelp
Pho Hai Duong in Vienna is a fantastic spot for pho and Vietnamese comfort food. Their pho broth is rich and flavorful, and the Pho with Everything includes a great variety of meats, including meatballs, which adds to the heartiness of the dish. We always order their summer rolls--they're fresh, packed with shrimp, vermicelli, and herbs, and served with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. My husband loves their quail, which is well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The restaurant has a cozy and casual atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service is friendly and efficient, making sure orders come out quickly and hot. They also do great takeout, with well-packaged portions that stay fresh. Parking can be a little tight in the front, but there's additional parking in the back, making it much easier to stop by even during peak hours. Whether dining in or taking out, Pho Hai Duong is a solid go-to spot for quality pho and Vietnamese dishes!

Yelp
I was not feeling well at work so I felt like a bowl of pho would be the cure for lunch! - Pho Tai -- my go-to for pho! The pho was served with the slices of steak fully cooked in the broth, but I prefer the meat to be slightly raw. The flavor did not stand out to me and it was on the pricier side compared to others likely because it is located in Tysons. The interior is spacious with booth and table seating. Overall, the service was prompt and decent.

Gene W.

Yelp
The food and service is very consistent. We usually get the Large Pho with various pieces of meat and parts. The serving is generous with noodles and meats & bits. The broth is clean but not as flavorful as Vietfoods in Eden Center. That broth is deep, rich, beefy, sweet and really oily. The pho comes with plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno & lime. I love dipping the meat with a mix of peanut sauce from summer rolls, hoisin and srirachia. My son loves the summer rolls (fresh rolls with pork and shrimp). Instead of the peanut sauce, he dips it in fish sauce. The fried spring rolls are very crispy and hot. I like to pair it was fresh basil and jalapeno slices. Overall, a go to place for us as we can still stay in the Tysons area and get decent Vietnamese food/pho for a fair price.

James H.

Yelp
Very calming experience every time I come here. Lots of available seating. Service is always efficient. Pleasant background music. Tables are stocked with sauces to add to your pho. Great lunch spot!

Thipyan B.

Yelp
Terrible fried rice they used boiled chicken to add in the fried rice no flavor no taste whatsoever. I call the manager he can't even offer me something else $20:95 go to the trash!!!

Yelp
Really solid place for pho and other viet food. Recently moved to falls church and needed to find a replacement for pho duong in Centreville - pho hai duongs owner is related to the owner of pho duong so I decided to give it a try. The location has better mi xao don and the phone is ALMOST the same. The bbh here is better. Overall I really like it here and it's my go to place for pho

Tam L.

Yelp
Food was a 7.5/10 for me. Broths for pho and banh canh were clear but I would like it a bot more aromatic. Goi cuon bi came out a little cold (like chilled in the fridge) so it didn't seem like it was made fresh to order but size and portions were good. +$6 for knuckles were a tad high but I guess I was really craving it. Service was fairly quick but could have used an extra check-in or two. Place seems clean and welcoming which is good. Menu was sizable for a pho place!

Martina T.

Yelp
Plenty of free parking in the back. Lots of indoor seating available. Food comes out pretty quickly. The pho broth and noodles were good. Meat is tender and good portion size. Pho large was $15.95. Sliced onions were $3. The rice dish was not good. Ordered the com tam dac biet $17.95. Was not a fan. The cha trung and tau hu ky in the combo were dry and not tasty. The grilled pork and shredded pork were ok. Service is good and attentive. They also offer bun, hu tieu, vegetarian dishes, bun Bo hue, banh xeo, ca kho, canh chua, bo luc lac, clams, rolls and many other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Very extensive menu options.

Christina B.

Yelp
We listened to the reviews and decided to try, we were not disappointed. The summer rolls and pho were enjoyable.

Marsha T.

Yelp
One of the better places in Tyson's for solid Vietnamese food. Not crazy expensive, not modern--just good, classic Vietnamese. I've visited multiple times and everything I've ordered has been good and well-portioned. Pho broth is flavorful, noodle bowls are fresh, iced coffee is strong. I ordered the banh xeo recently and it was light and crispy, full of shrimp and pork with an abundant side of fresh veggies. I've found few places that can execute a well-made banh xeo. Service is pretty quick.

Jen I.

Yelp
Please Please stop mopping the floors during restaurant hours. I do not want to sit with strong chemicals mixed in with my food. One time we were nearing the end of our meal so we dealt with it but another time, we walked out because the cleaning chemicals were too strong.

Mario R.

Yelp
When I arrived, I saw a big table with Vietnamese people, this was a great sign about their food, after I ordered, and tasted their food, was really authentic and delicious Service is good, ambience and decor are OK Recommended!

Yelp
Service here was absolutely excellent, but sadly I didn't enjoy my pork and noodle dish as much. I was really looking forward to the noodle bowl- some flavors were just missing sadly.

Vivian N.

Yelp
The food is good. The services are excellent. It is very clean and nice restaurant. We ordered special Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha Ha Noi, va Com Tam. They are all good.

Bob M.

Yelp
This is the place when you want that real Vietnamese fix. It's got a huge menu with many pictures for people who don't know all the types. Ample parking in rear. Very clean. Staff helpful. Sorry no pix.... I couldn't wait to dig in.

Michael S.

Yelp
The pho felt like it was missing something, it was still good though. I got the large bowl but when I compared it with my cousin who got the small it was pretty similar in size and I wish there were just a lil more noodles. The service was alright, we did come at a busy time and they forgot our sodas but they were friendly and paying was easy. The place was nice and clean and the chairs were comfy.

Adam A.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my Pho. Got the vegetable and tofu in beef broth - huge portion and quick service. Spring rolls were tasty too. Huge menu with plenty other than Pho too.

Fatema S.

Yelp
the pho is good for the area and it's convenient, but the main issue with this restaurant is that there's a really weird smell some sort of cleaner that they use on the floors that legit makes me so nauseous and gives me the biggest headache. I wish that they would change whatever they're using because it's stopping me from sitting inside eating my phone. I literally have to come in wait outside grab the pho and leave. I would like to eat it inside while it's hot. it's awful smell and i hope the owners see this post and fix it.i know a couple people with the same issue that it smells like really cheap soap.

Deborah H.

Yelp
I hope this place never goes downhill because it's literally the only place I'll drive an hour for to get my Vietnamese food fix I think they have an Annandale location but I prefer this one just because the service is always so friendly and the food comes out relatively fast! It's also super clean inside which I appreciate. I highly recommend their grilled meats (all of them are phenomenal), also their pho is so good, not too heavy or salty but still really flavorful!

Lynda R.

Yelp
Fragrant pho broth, beautifully presented. Loved the banh xeo, too. We will order from this place again and again.

Sam C.

Yelp
I was a frequent flyer at their location in Eden Center as I narrowed down their establishment as the top broth in the area. Competition was fierce when I lived in Falls Church where the choices for pho are in abundance. I have to admit, I was once an MSG junkie and there were many establishments that abused this ingredient in particular. I once commented that their name written in gold at the Eden Center is no coincidence as their broth should certainly be the gold standard to which all broths should be compared. I am so pleased the proprieters have held on to this solid recipe for broth and have decided to spread the wealth by opening this location so close to my current home. Five stars PLUS if they allow me to bring in my own container to fill up on their magical broth!

Susie W.

Yelp
My whole office loves coming here for lunch - either for sit down or take out. They have great authentic Vietnamese food. There is plenty of space and seating for dining inside, though limited parking in front (some additional parking out back). Service is quick and efficient. But most importantly, the food is amazing. There is a lot of great Asian food in northern Virginia, but I would absolutely recommend this spot in Tyson's Corner for a great and inexpensive meal.

Alyssa K.

Yelp
Yum!! Wonderful food! Terrific atmosphere! Excellent service!. Do not miss the caramel fish in clay pot! It is excellent.

Yelp
The pho was horrible! If you look at my reviews, you can see I have been to MANY DIFFERENT PHO PLACES. This place, was horrible! When I walked in, the older man looked angry even when I gave a smile. The younger man with glasses was very kind! I sat down, order a bowl of pho with extra beef and extra noodles, it came WARM! Barely hot enough to cook the meat! And the noodles tasted funny. The broth lacked flavor! Highly disappointed! Only finished half and left.

Branden B.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to grab lunch at Pho Hai Duong. As we walked in we noticed how clean the restaurant was. We were quickly greeted by a host and brought to a table. After looking over the fully loaded menu, we decided to share a few plates. First we got the Pho Chin Nam Bowl. It was big, hot, and delicious! Easily shared between two people. Next we got the Cha Gio Spring Rolls. They tasted fresh and savory. Lastly, we got the Com Bo Nuong platter. The steak tasted fresh and seasoned. The rice was perfect. All of the food we ordered came out quick. The prices were fair. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms were immaculate! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys quality Vietnamese food.

Shelby P.

Yelp
Love this place and can't believe I haven't heard of it before. When I'm in Tyson's this is my new go to spot. I got the beef stew with egg noodles. Super springy noodles and absolutely tender beef. Loved the flavor and good prices.

Terri D.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of their sister restaurant in FFX (near Trader Joe's), so wanted to check out their latest opening in Tysons. Not sure why there aren't more customers but the food is tasty. Good variety of Viet dishes on the menu - just missing one of my fav, bun rieu. Got bun bo hue, hu tieu and seafood clay pot - yum yum yum. oh and thier lemonade is soooo good and refreshing - a best for me.

Justin N.

Yelp
I came home from college for the weekend and wanted to relax and eat a nice bowl of pho with my family. A good bowl of pho is hard to come by at school but thankfully I have Pho Hai Duong nearby at home. I'm half Vietnamese and I grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese food so I have high standards for it. Pho Hai Duong is an authentic and dependable option for Vietnamese food. In my opinion, it is the best place to get a bowl of pho right now in the McLean-Tysons area. We ordered the Cha Gio (Crispy Spring Rolls) and Goi Cuon (Summer Rolls) for appetizers. The Cha Gio is standard and good. They are on the smaller side and while they are not the best I've tasted, they are also far from bad. The Goi Cuon was good. They were rolled well and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered a small bowl of the Pho Tai Chin and was impressed. The portion of the small size was awesome. The soup was light, flavorful, and hearty. The medium rare eye round steak was tasty and satisfying. The noodles were good and I have no complaints about them. They were not over cooked and had a nice bite to them. I also tried the Com Tam Dac Biet (rice platter with pork). The pork was good, and well marinaded and seasoned. The egg quiche and shredded pork were nice additions that are hard to come by in Vietnamese food in the McLean-Tysons area. Overall, I like Pho Hai Duong. Although it's not the best pho or Vietnamese restaurant in northern Virginia, it's an authentic and dependable option for when I don't want to drive out to Fairfax or Arlington to get my pho fix.

Mitch S.

Yelp
A great spot for affordable pho in the Vienna area. I'd recommend going with the small, which is just a dollar less than the large but a HUGE portion for one person and will certainly fill any normal humans stomach. I got the #12 which was flank steak, and rare steak I believe. It was awesome. Deep flavors of broth paired with a little sriracha and hoisin and it's a 10. Check this spot out for lunch.

Tina L.

Yelp
You know inflation is forreals when your bowl of pho costs over $17 (tax and tip included). The pho was really good though. The broth came out perfect; it was piping hot, not too sweet, not too bland or overwhelming with star anise and other spices. The location is great, I've seen businesses come and go in this plaza and this pho spot fills the void for Tysons not having that many decent pho spots. The place was pretty empty (Monday around 2pm). I was running errands in the area today and needed some lone time pho date all by myself.

Cammie N.

Yelp
Really bad services! Never come back again! I hope they can respect their customers! :(

Frankie N.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for pho so I always come here when I go to Tysons Mall! I get the vegetable pho with beef broth. The broth is my favorite and they have the good tofu that's puffy and fried but not overly oily. They give a solid amount of noodles and the vegetables aren't over cooked. The service is nice and very quick. I usually come around odd times for meals so it's almost never busy, but this time I came for an early dinner and it started filling up after I sat down. The prices are fair and parking is easy in the back. I love this place!

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Very spacious restaurant- they were able to accommodate a party of 15 immediately. Their expansive menu had plenty of authentic Vietnamese dishes that can't be found at your average pho restaurant. Service and food were very quick and any extra requests (extra bowls for sharing, forks, etc) were fulfilled in a timely manner.

Susie J.

Yelp
Owner stop being stingy with portion of your going to raise your price ......................................

Hung V.

Yelp
It's good to have a few Vietnamese restaurants in the Tysons area, especially during the cold weather, with the hot Pho or Hu Tiêu that would help a lot. It's always nice and clean. The foods and services are good. I had the special bánh hỏi with shrimp paste for the main course and cha gio (spring roll) for appetizer. They were delicious and very tasty. Recommended!

Nenzie T.

Yelp
We were excited to see Hai Duong in the Tyson area since we don't have to drive to Annandale or falls church. The parking lot is big enough and it's in the back and you'll just have to walk to the front. Walked in and first impression was already awkward. She saw us and without a greeting I told her table for 2. I was excited with the menu but I wanted Pho since it was raining out. Pho was good, lots of meat but the broth wasn't as rich as I wanted to be but overall is good. Their bean sprouts was really crunchy and fresh. The egg noodle (dry-broth on the side) the meat has a foul a smell and when we told the waitress she didn't seem to care or acknowledge our comment. The vermicelli grilled pork, the presentation was appetizing and you can smell the meat being grilled from outside of the restaurant. However the meat was alittle bland for me (try out viet fresh ) I think the expectation was high so it seems like I'm being negative. Annandale spot definitely taste better. But hey I'm happy they're closer to home. I won't go out of my way to come here but if I'm in the area, I'll come again. Also the customer service from the lady needs to be alittle more welcoming and upbeat. She didn't talk/ smile and didn't even try to make a small talk to make you feel welcome. Bad day? Guess so since it was ugly day out...

Lily H.

Yelp
Another Pho Hai Duong location in the area! We were told this is #6, and good to see a consistent menu. Food is not amazing by any means, but you will always find consistent food and menu across the PHDs. Nice to also visit a location that's new and therefore the interior is new and very clean!

James M.

Yelp
Finally....a legit pho spot in Tysons! The doors are finally open after months of watching from afar. Grand opening specials this entire week (Mon-Sun), valid only on Pho -- (S) $5.95, (L) $6.95 The restaurant is clean and made up of tables and booths, a large flat screen TV, and plenty of parking in the back lot. Will definitely be coming back, again n again--as well as taking out (Large only).

Aven L.

Yelp
i had the vietnamese crepe up in new york recently and was craving it upon returning to dmv area after a quick google i saw this place has it and danny and his wonderful team accommodated this difficult order even during the busy lunch rush. delicious crepe, spring rolls crispy and fresh both great, pho was enjoyed and shrimp fried rice also killer. we have already been back to enjoy again. great neighborhood spot make sure to ask danny for his advice if you don't know what to get. highly recommend for super nice food and service

Gilbert G.

Yelp
Great option for Vietnamese pho in the Tysons Corner area. Plenty of parking spaces available in the backside lot. My family (2 teenage sons) came on a Sunday evening around 6:00pm for dinner. The restaurant was clean with a few other families and couples here for an informal dinner. The large TV screen was especially nice for watching an NFL divisional playoff game. However, the seating felt a bit uncomfortable. We ordered the crispy spring rolls (fried) and various pho combinations (beef, the combination, chicken). Overall, the pho broth was clean but did not have as much flavor (spices) as other places. I liked the milder broth, but if you're accustomed to heavily spiced broths, the difference here will be readily apparent. Also, the service was friendly and prompt. Our family will definitely come again in the future.

My N.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, I loved the egg rolls especially. I'm stoked whenever a place has banh xeo. Service was pretty a** which I know is typical but this was pretty bad. I had to get up and get utensils and was scoffed at when I asked for the check, probs bc I was interrupting their meal lol

Yelp
There are quite a few pho restaurants around, but my go to is Pho Hai Duong in Tysons hands down! I have found that a few of the other pho restaurants I used to frequent have had a decline in quality over the years, but Pho Hai Duong has stayed consistently exceptional. My usual is either a small or large #5, the Tai Gau. It has eye round steak and fatty brisket. Pho is served with onions and cilantros in the broth and accompanied with a plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, and jalapenos. I also like to order the #26, Goi Chon or summer rolls. The rolls are wrapped with shrimp, lettuce, and rice vermicelli, and served with peanut sauce. Pho is pho-nomenal (love me a food pun). The broth is rich, there's plenty of meat and onions and cilantro, and they don't skimp on Thai basil, limes, or bean sprouts. The summer rolls are very good, and I haven't found another pho place that either serves good summer rolls or summer rolls at all. Additionally, service is friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Everyone is affable and helpful, and I never feel rushed or unwanted.

Thuy V.

Yelp
Solid pho, one days the broth is better than others. Recommended for a local spot but wouldn't travel far for it.

Yelp
Pho Hai Duong Ratings: 4.1/5 Food: 4.25/5 - First time here. Ordered the shrimp summer roll (Goi Cuon); it was good and perfectly rolled with fresh ingredients. I also ordered the Mi Hai Duong, which is egg noodles with seafood and comes with a soup on the side. This is something new that I never tried before, but it was delightful. The soup on the side was light, flavorful, and super hearty. The seafood was fresh, beef tongue was tender, pork was well-cooked, fish balls was decent, and most importantly the noodles were chewy and firm, just how I like it. Personally, I hate soggy noodles. This dish got a lot of things going on, but trust me each ingredient balances it out perfectly, especially the added fried onions on top. If you would like to try something, give this dish a try, I bet you will like it. Ambiance: 4/5 - Typical Asian pho restaurant and decorations, but I can say this place is very clean and can accommodate a large group of people. There's a lot of tables and wide spaces, so definitely no need to worry about practicing social distancing. Price: 4.25 - Wonderful price. Each dish ranges from $10 to $15. I believed mine was $11.95. Overall, two entrees with a order of summer roll came up to be around $30 before tip. Service: 4/5 - Fast and great service. Food came out relatively fast too. No complaints. BLUF: Great place for pho in Tyson's area. I believe this is a chain, and I have tried other sister restaurants, and not single one of them had failed me yet. Love this place. Also, there's plenty of parking in front of the store.

Jina S.

Yelp
Haven't been here for awhile (pre-Covid), but I was having one of those anxiety days as many of us have been experiencing the last few months. I wanted something comforting and pho always seems to make me feel better. Must be the broth! Anyway, I ordered pho with the lean brisket and flank, and omgoodness the portion was huge! Could barely fit everything in my large soup bowl. No complaints. My husband ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl, also a very generous portion. One thing missing was the fish sauce, but luckily I can whip it up easily at home. Will definitely have to ask them about it next time. All the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. Ordered online on their website portal, and it was ready in less than 10 minutes! I had to call about ETA since there was no option to pick a time to pick up. Not a huge fan of take out for sustainability purposes (so much styrofoam and plastic), but honestly I worry these local businesses may not survive in the coming year if we don't support them. Will be getting take out again from here when I need pho in my life!
