We got phos and pork chops with vermicelles. The pho was average, the broth could have been a bit better. The pork chops were still on a bone so it was hard to eat it. The atmosphere is very bleak.

I finally had time to write this. Since I really liked the seafood dish with crispy noodless from Nguyen Phi on CDN, that unfortunately was closed, we decided to go in and try it here, thinking that the experience could be similar. We were 3 at the table. We also ordered a third dish with shrimps, beef and chicken. Without a doubt, the seafood, with noodless, as a whole, was better in the Nguyen Phi. There, the sauce was more flavorful, well seasoned. Richer and thicker. Here, it was like water. As for the other dish, it was generally good, but according to my table companion, the shrimps were dry. So much so that he had a hard time removing them from the toothpick. The service time was average. Nice atmosphere and clean place. Next time, I might try their Pho.

This is not the first time ! When we went inside there’s no greetings, smile or anything they just hand out the menus and choose a place to sit. (Not friendly at all) They don’t even communicate properly to the customers. He just bring the food what we ordered leave and go ,didn’t even care to ask if the food is alright. Then you expect us to tip ?

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Reasonable price for the quality of food. The pho Ga was just ok, but the spring rolls were delicious. The udon noodles were disappointing as the broth tasted quite bland.

Order #13 Phở Tái Gân Sách, size large. Nice tasting broth, fresh basil, lean portion on the tripe and tendon — thin pieces, which is fine, but far too few of both the tripe and the tendon. Less of the rare beef than other restaurants as well but quantity there perfect for my preferences. I will return, though perhaps try ordering my pho with their a la carte option in the hopes of getting a bit more. Dinning partner ordered the Phở Gà (chicken), large with a mango bubble tea. Pho was enjoyed with good amount of chicken. Service fast and attentive. Space standard clean and comfortable. Parking, if needed, easily found (metered in front, free available around corner.)

This Soup Special was probably the best serving i was given ever since i ate here. I was greeted with iced water and ample serving of sprouts, fresh thai basil and two fresh slices of lime. The soup was served fast and presented well with a clear, dark and surprisingly very hot broth giving a mild beefy, salty taste on its own whose flavor was further intensified with a squeeze of lime and sriracha creating a balance of spice and sourness with the broth which clung to the noodle with every slurp. Slices of beef, thin tripe, two halves of springy beef balls and savory fat were sufficient on the small serving i ordered. It was a satisfyng meal with speedy service with a humble asian ambiance.

I always have their beef flank and soft tendon Pho with extra tendons <3 Real golden bone broth. Homemade, not from powder mix like Pho 88. Their tendons are always super soft and tasty. Good collagen to stay looking young and joint support. Beef tasty and generous with meat portions. Very fast service. The workers and owners dont say much. Their soup does the talking for them. Been coming here for years. Never dissapointed in their soup nor service.

The food here is amazing and so are the prices! For around 10 dollars the portions are more than generous. Service is good, staff are kind and courteous. The only reason I took off a star is due to the condition of the restaurant. The inside looks very dilapidated and is in desperate need of some upgrades.

Yelp
The delivery service was excellent. The vegetarian dish was not up to par and the portion was very stingy. I ended up adding my own stir fry that had more veggies.

Yelp
The only thing taking away from a five star review is that the decor is nothing fancy, but in a way that adds to the authenticity and charm. Perhaps after I've eaten on-site I can revisit this. In the meantime, the two take-out orders I've gotten have tasted great. They have super fresh spring rolls and a more than dip worthy peanut dipping sauce - it's darker and more intense than most. I'm a big fan. The portion is also more substantial than most and that gives a bit of extra value. The soup was also top notch in the flavor department. Well developed and just the right amount of fragrant (even though I'm one who likes over the top fragrant broths as well). Pretty good sized portion as well. The service is attentive despite there being a big room of long tables and it appears one or maybe two hard working servers. I will end by punctuating the authentic feel of the place and the look of the bowls of pho. One of the most real feeling pho places I've experienced outside of Vietnam. I'll save the way I found this place for another time - in short it was by chance.

Yelp
After hiking Mont Royal and visiting the Oratory, friends and I were starving and this place came clutch. Servings were perfect and price point was great.

Yelp
Got ourselves some wonderful takeout after a long afternoon of volunteering. Some warm soup was perfect, really hit the spot! We called ahead to place our order and we got a large special pho (with everything: brisket, flank, tendon, meatballs, etc) and a large seafood soup. The restaurant is closed for dine in, obviously, but takeout is ready to go! The dining tables have been arranged so as to fence off the area. I didn't see any hand sanitizer though. There is a bell you should ring when you enter, since the people are in the back...we stood around for a while wondering what to do. They packaged everything very nicely, with broth and noodles separate, and with everything packed snugly in a box for easy carrying. Make sure you remember to take chopsticks if you don't have any at home...we made this mistake and one of us had to eat with a fork. They gave us the usual complimentary bean sprouts and condiments, which was great! I did miss the thai basil though, and the sprouts didn't seem that fresh, which is where they lost some points. But the pho was fantastic! Lots of beef and tender tendon, and the broth was fragrant and not too salty. I do wish there was more coriander and onion though. I can never get enough of coriander. The seafood soup came with krab, fish balls, and shrimp, and the soup was tomatoey and slightly spicy. My partner liked it very much. Altogether it was a very good meal.

Yelp
Very old decor, bathroom not well maintained, Pho is so so and God knows what the kitchen looks like judging from the cover of the book. The one I ordered was #17 which had all sorts of meat, they call it all dressed but it gives off that fowl odour when meat is not properly seasoned or prepared. Also, the broth I've come accustomed to is clear, not dark brown like they have it over at this place. Had to add quite Sriracha and the other dark brown sauce they have on the table to suppress the fowl odour of the meat. Pho Ngon on the corner of Crémazie and St-Michel remains my top choice for Pho. Long story short, I'll stick to what is proven to be the best time after time. Never going back to this mediocre place again!

Yelp
So real. Very affordable. Don't think you will be getting a five star service. So don't complain. This is the real deal tho.

Yelp
Great spot in ndg/côtes des neiges. If you want a noodle soup to warm yourself up from the cold or just to eat without killing your student budget. This is a great place!

Yelp
My family and I traveled from California and stopped by here for lunch after Sunday mass at The Oratory. There was plenty of street parking. We sat outside to enjoy the warm weather. Our waitress was very accommodating and the food is what makes this a 5-star place! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was very good, and different as it had a hint of garlic to it. The pho broth is very delicious! My dad kept raving about it. And trust us when we say so, because we are Vietnamese.

Yelp
J'aime bien manger à ce resto et je compte y retourner. Je travaille pres de là et le midi, c'est plein. Il faut faire la file parfois, mais je trouve que ça vaut la peine surtout l'été quand leur terrasse est ouverte.
